XX/XX/XXXX XXXXamaha Motor Finance acquired our boat loan from XXXXXXXX XXXX. From that time, we have had issues with : 1. How the payments are applied and or the printed mailed statements matching the online statements 2. The balance owed increasing vs decreasing even when minimum or extra payments made early or on time 3. The latest statement dated XX/XX/XXXX shows late fees for the months of XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX when these were not notated on previous statements or brought to our attention when we spoke to the customer service representatives or supervisors. Details of Conversations and money payed to Yamaha : 1. ) XX/XX/XXXX notes : a. Spoke with XXXX customer service representative b. Reviewed our payment history from XXXX : - XX/XX/XXXX : {$700.00} online pay ( was still XXXX on this date ) - XX/XX/XXXX : {$150.00} online pay - XX/XX/XXXX : {$430.00} online pay - XXXX XXXX : {$430.00} from online Pay - XX/XX/XXXX : {$300.00} ( We notified Yamaha we didn't pay this ( XXXX said payment method was " lock box '' -- " lock box '' check or money order via mail ) ** checked We checked our bank -- no check or withdrawal for {$300.00} listed - XXXX said any payments above are applied to : repo fee, then late fee, then past due, then current principal and interest, then future principal ( as applicable ) ** we did not have any fees, but it doesn't seem to have applied to Principal c. Requested XXXX turn off auto-pay which is set up for {$430.00} -- she told me she did it. -- We didn't want any additional $ $ going to them until we get a better feel on what was going on with billing d. On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX I paid online the 'Current Due ' of {$120.00} from 'Account Home '. Implications is that's the remaining 'typical ' balance after the mysterious {$300.00} 'lock box ' payment. e. XXXX even asked is we were looking to refinancing due to the billing problems 2. ) XX/XX/XXXX notes : a. spoke to XXXX customer service representative b. shared our frustration of auto pay taking out a payment of {$430.00} even after we requested it be stopped when speaking with XXXX in XXXX and were told auto pay was stopped c. because auto pay continued, there were three payments noted our account for the month of XXXX -- {$300.00} posted XXXX {$120.00} posted XXXX and {$430.00} posted XX/XX/XXXX d. XXXX stated he found where the auto pay was not turned off in all spots needed. He stated he did the necessary steps and that is now turned off -- all future payments will need to be made on line manually through our account page e. I asked that all of the remaining extra money on our account be applied toward principal and not the future months payment. XXXX state he saw that {$430.00} was showing as additional money and that he requested it be applied to principal and it would take up to five days to show up on our account 3. ) XX/XX/XXXX notes a. spoke with XXXX customer service representative b. requested to speak with a manager or supervisor and was told I had to state a reason to her first c. I shared frustrated because our current statement dated XX/XX/XXXX showed {$0.00} due even though we had requested all extra money be applied to principal ; therefore the regular payment amount of {$420.00} should be required. We also shared that the balance due on the statement increased this month instead of decreasing d. XXXX looked at our account and verified my complaint and stated she could not help me so she placed me on hold to get a supervisor e. After a 15 minute way XXXX came back to say no supervisor was available and continued to explain our balance was higher because of interest accrued daily f. XXXX continued to explain we do in fact have a payment of {$420.00} due for XXXX even though our statement showed {$0.00}. She explained this is because the extra money was not applied until after monthly statement was printed ( **We would not have know this if we did not callthis is a problem ) g. We requested again to speak to a supervisor and was told none available but she would put our request in the system and a supervisor would call us back. A good contact phone number was confirmed. 4. ) XX/XX/XXXX notes : a. spoke with XXXX customer service representative b. Purpose of call was to speak to a supervisor because we still had not received a call back from our previous request on XX/XX/XXXX. c. XXXX reviewed our previous call notes and our account information. At this point he stated the computer showed we owed {$850.00} instead of our regular payment of {$450.00} which was the one given by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX call. d. XXXX was confused because he could see our overpayments and paying ahead in the previous payment history. At this time he place us on hold to verify why the amount owed was double our regular amount and to try and get a supervisor on the line e. XXXX transferred us to XXXX a supervisor in the department f. XXXX confirmed computer statement showed {$850.00} as current amount due and printed statement showed {$0.00} due. He also confirmed the statement balance owed had increased from last statement even with all of the payments made. g. XXXX placed us on hold to speak to upper management about the issue. When he returned to the call, he stated he had spoken with billing department and they said the amount due was wrongit should be {$450.00}. We were to pay the amount of {$450.00} and we not be charged any late fees because the system was wrong and had to be fixed. h. XXXX also stated our balance had increased instead of decreasing is due to interest accrual daily and the previous monthly statement balance was based on extra money on our account were placed on future payments vs principal. i. We requested a copy of the amortization table be sent to us so we could see how our payments had been applied each month. XXXX confirmed our mailing address as well as our email address to send it to. ( We never received this table and we checked spam folder daily as well as regular mail folder ) 5. ) XX/XX/XXXX notes : a. spoke to XXXX b. We asked to speak to a supervisor to clear up account issues. She reviewed our last account notes and immediately transferred me to the supervisor line. c. spoke to XXXX department supervisor d. Shared our confusion of the monthly statement that stated we had late payment fees for the dates of XX/XX/XXXX {$79.00} ; XX/XX/XXXX {$39.00} ; XX/XX/XXXX {$39.00} when we had never been late with a payment and in fact had prepaid several months. These late fee payments have not shown on any previous statements and also have not been shared with us with a customer service representative when we called. e. Shared our confusion that the statement showed {$370.00} due ( our regular payment is {$450.00} ) Current amount due is less than the regular scheduled payment and yet it showed the late fees so this did not make any sense. f. XXXX reviewed our payment history and account notes. She agreed the late fees were not valid and she would send a request to the billing department to correct. She stated the current amount due is less than our scheduled amount due because we paid {$420.00} six days early last month so {$50.00} had been applied to the month of XXXX payment (??? what??? ) g. We also brought up the current balance due on the statement increased again from the previous statement. Her explanation was, again, the daily interest accrual -- -- How is a loan ever supposed to be paid off is it always increases even with the magical extra payments??? h. We requested again for the amortization table. XXXX said the computer showed it was emailed to us on XX/XX/XXXX ; however, we never received it. We re-confirmed our mailing address and email address and asked we get the amortization table both electronically and hard copy. i. We asked to speak to someone in management to escalate our concerns and frustrations and XXXX stated supervisor staff was the highest level we could speak to by phone but we could request an explanation of our account in writing via an email. j. We constructed and sent an email to the address provided on XX/XX/XXXX and awaiting reply

I purchased a used motorcycle in XXXX of 2019. It was financed with XXXX XXXX. I set up my bill pay XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and started making payments ( {$180.00} XXXX in XXXX. There were no issues with XXXX. Every time I got paid, I would log on to my XXXX account and make a payment with no problems. In XXXX I received notice that Yamaha Financial Services would be taking over the loan. XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Yamaha informing me that if I used bill pay I would need to contact my bank and update the information so that the payments would be sent to correct lender, I contacted XXXX and updated all of the information as instructed and continued to make my payments. When I received my XXXX statement it showed that I was a month behind and charged a late fee of {$39.00}. I called and Yamaha informed me that I was not behind. Confused at this point I went back through my statements to confirm that the payment was received. I noticed that the payment was returned. I immediately logged on to my bank and made my XXXX and XXXX payments and called Yamaha to inform them what I had found. I also emailed them proof of payment. I made several calls and demonstrated more than once that I had made payments on time. After my XXXX payment was returned and several phone calls and emails someone finally informed me that Yamaha does not accept payments through bill pay. This was extremely frustrating since I am now 3 payments, 6 phone calls and 2 emails deep trying to figure out what was going on. Despite a lengthy conversation on how I am just finding this out and why the heck not, I again immediately wrote a check for the full three months. I was informed that the late fees would be removed and my account would be made current. However only two of the three late fees were removed and when they received my check for three payments, they applied my payment to two of the past due payments and the late fee, the balance of my three month payment was applied to the principle of the loan. No one informed me of this and when I received my next statement it showed I was a month behind and there was another late fee. I made several more phone calls trying to figure this out. At this point I am dealing with a different person every time I call. I have to sit on hold explain everything to a new person and all they can do in inform me that they will escalate the issue for resolution. I was told that someone would contact me. I again emailed them proof of payment demonstrating that I had made all of my payments on time. I never received any calls or received any letters other than my statements. After about 5 phone calls I was informed that the issue was rejected by whoever reviewed the issue. I asked to speak with the department that handles these decisions and I was informed that it was not possible to transfer me. I requested that they send it up the chain again and I emailed a copy of everything to the person I was speaking to. He confirmed receipt and the next day I received a call back from him telling me that the issue had been resolved. I was relieved and very grateful for his help. I made my XXXX payment with no issue. The month of XXXX however is a different story. I get paid on the XXXX and my payment is due on the XXXX. The XXXX of this month was a Sunday and when payday falls on a Sunday we get paid on Monday. I got paid and deposited my check, it clears the following day and I mailed a check on the XXXX. Remember they do not accept bill pay so I am mailing checks now. They did not process the check until the XXXX. Now they are calling me to inform me that I owe them another XXXX for a late fee and that my account is past due. I have a lot of creditors and I am paying all of them on time. I have not been late on a payment with any of them in a long time and it is very rare that I have to talk to anyone of them on the phone. In the last year since Yamaha has taken over my account I have estimated that I have spent 20 hours in phone calls and correspondence with them. They have proven to be punitive and unconcerned with their customers time or how effective they manage these accounts. I would be very surprised to find that I am the only one having this problem. Can you please help me? I am currently trying to find a different company to take over my loan. However since I am most effectively reestablishing my credit and doing everything I can to improve my situation, I am still not quite there yet where refinancing is an easy task. Also I am concerned about when one institution takes over accounts of another like this that they should have to maintain the agreements and structures in place. They can't just arbitrarily change the rules and arrangements with the previous institution. I have a letter from them stating that they did accept Bill pay and that all I had to do was update the information. I will attach it with the files.

Yamaha Motor Financial Corporation Well to start this off a quick explanation. I had a loan with XXXX XXXX for a small dirt bike. 6 to 8 months into the loan the loan was sold to Yamaha financial corporation. That part was out of my control with no warning or approval. Well then comes Covid19 and the mail was starting to be weird. I had stopped receiving statements for the dirt bike. In XXXX on the XXXX i had called and made a payment online paying their late charges as well chocking up the missing statements as possibly my fault. Well come XXXX XXXX XXXX i had received no statements and XX/XX/XXXX i called a number from my phone history and attempted to make a payment and my card was declined or wrong pin number or somehow i was unable to make the payment. Worried i waited for a statement to come in the mail so i could use the account number instead of entering my social security number. Well that statement never came.XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX am while at work i missed a call from the company. XX/XX/XXXX between XXXX and XXXX XXXX a repo agent had come and repossessed the bike. I immediately attempted to call the company but was unable to get through to a real person due to observation of XX/XX/XXXX and not having my account number was unable to make a payment on their computer program. XX/XX/XXXX i had called and finally got through to a live person, i had asked why i had not received any statements in the mail and i was told that i was in the computer as having a bad address. The same address that the repo agent found us and the bike at and the same address i would later receive certified mail from the company. The supervisor i had spoke with was named XXXX # XXXX i updated my addresses and i requested a copy of the agreement and also more information about the repossession and was told that he could not help me for a few days until those requests were completed. Many of my questions were deflected and i was belittled and shamed for allowing myself to fall behind even though i had not been receiving statements or courtesy calls when my account was 71 days past due owing XXXX XXXX I ended the call due to the circle of deflection to any question i asked. I was called back minutes later from the company attempting to collect the payment, upon being informed that their company had repossessed the dirt bike i finally received some help from XXXX # XXXX informing me that the repossession company takes a few days to release the information and that i should email YamahaXXXX and that they would be able to take a look at my account to figure out where the miscommunication was coming from. XX/XX/XXXX i had received a certified letter from Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation postmarked XX/XX/XXXX and opened it. It contained a letter of intent to sell. I had also received a envelope with statements from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX i had called trying to see if the information had come in and could be discussed. XX/XX/XXXX i had sent the first email. Back and forth emails i receive a email asking if i could call in and discuss the matter in a more personal manner. XX/XX/XXXX, i called and explained myself and the employee referred me to his supervisor XXXX # XXXX who said they couldn't do anything to help me and that i should pay them. I had once again asked for a copy of the contract. I requested the name of the repossession company only to be given the wrong company. i was told to call back on that Friday the XXXX of XXXX and there would be a resolution to the escalation of my questions. I made a payment on XX/XX/XXXX for {$310.00}. I called back on Friday the XXXX to be told that no information was available. The agent XXXX was rude and refused to give me his employee identification number which i was put on hold for thirty minutes until his supervisor gave me the number. XXXX # XXXX After all this stress and wasted time i feel like i was bamboozled by this company. They are currently holding my credit hostage telling me i need to pay the repossession cost of XXXX $ plus all past due amounts. They have given me no statements in the mail and no calls on the phone until less than 24 hours before the time of repossession. The repossession order come to find out was to a company called ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) different from the information they had given me and that the order had been made XX/XX/XXXX almost a week before they attempted to make contact with me on XX/XX/XXXX. This has ruined my credit, Traumatized my kid, and is going to cost me alot of money. The buyout amount to receive my property is almost as much as the purchase price when i bought the dirt bike new signing the contract with another company. This has been the worst ordeal i have every had working with any company.

On XX/XX/2020 I bought one bike for {$7100.00} with 11.99 % interest rate and a minimum monthly payment of 2.24 %. {$160.00} On XX/XX/2020 I bought another bike for {$5200.00} with a 10.99 % interest rate and a minimum monthly payment of 2.19 %. {$110.00} -When I received my statement in XXXX we were very surprised to see we are being charged a 20.99 % for what should be a 10.99 % interest rate with a payment for {$400.00} due when our payments should only be no more than {$270.00} a month. I called Yamaha and spoke to customer service they stated the account was right from what they could see that I needed to get with the dealership to have this issue fixed to get the XXXX rate. I spoke to the dealership and they stated they sent over everything correctly to Yamaha. I called Yamaha back and was told they needed to do an internal audit of our account and for me to call back in 14 days. I have to make my payment that is shown due until Yamaha can work this situation out. -When I received my XXXX statement we are still showing a 20.99 % interest rate and now with a subject balance of {$7200.00} for the second bike. A monthly payment of {$360.00} due. I called Yamaha to get an update on this internal audit and why my account is still showing these figures. They couldnt give me an update and stated that they dont have access to that side and they would put in another request for another internal audit review and to call back in 14 days again for an update. Nothing they can do to help me. I tried to escalate this issue and they stated again I needed to get with the dealership about this issue. I stated I have spoken to the dealership about this and they sent over the paperwork with all the correct information on it. I asked to please pull this information and have this issue corrected they stated they do not have access to the paperwork only servicing does but I cant talk to servicing. I seem to be given misleading information with no hope with a resolution. -XXXX XXXX when we received our statement we are still showing the 20.99 % and now with a subject balance of {$8500.00} on the second bike and a monthly payment due for {$400.00}. I called Yamaha asking for an explanation why my balance keeps rising and what the outcome of my account audit review because I can not go another month with this issue and high payments that I have to pay that is out of my control. The customer service rep put a supervisor on the phone and they couldnt explain the charges and my balance either. They stated a manager would be giving me a call to go over this within 24hours. I received a call from the Manager and they were very pushy that I was wrong and this is my payment and the system is correct. I stated that I will stay on the phone as long as it takes to get this situation resolved. I called the dealership and had them verify to the Manager at Yamaha that all my information is wrong on the account and that they sent over the correct information with the 10.99 % and my payments should only be {$110.00} plus the {$160.00} for the other bike. The Manager then got the servicing department on the line and they tried to get caught up on my account. I believe His name was XXXX in Servicing who tried to help us. He agreed that Yamaha has the paperwork showing the 10.99 % and that it needs to be fixed. A couple days later I received a call stating that the interest rate is fixed and that they are working on trying to figure out how much I am owed on my account and once they figure that out my account will be refunded from Yamaha and will be correct. -I have now received my XXXX statement after I was told that everything is resolved and that they are just waiting to figure out how much my account should be credited and instead my XXXX statement is showing the following a monthly payment of {$340.00} due. 20.99 % with a {$2400.00} balance. 11.99 % with a {$2100.00} balance. 10.99 % with a {$3800.00} balance. I am being told the issue has finally been resolved and I wont be able to truly tell if it is until my next statement. As of right now it looks like I am being charged an extra {$1000.00} in interest and my balance keeps going up. This process has been very misleading Yamaha has switched my rate, false advertising, and also bait and switch. I am desperately just asking for help I have been cooperating and paying what is asked of me.

In approximately XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX and I purchased a boat through Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation USA. Initially, the loan was managed by XXXXXXXX XXXX and we had problems with their management of the account mostly dealing with the timely processing of paperwork. In XX/XX/XXXX, we requested a deferment of the loan through XXXXXXXX XXXX and it was approved, however, XXXX never processed the paperwork. This resulted in two missed payments and incorrect reporting to the credit bureaus, which was remedied after I sent letters to XXXX and the XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. The credit reporting was corrected and late fees were waived because the bank was at fault. In approximately XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX requested a forbearance due to COVID19. The paperwork was received by Yamaha on XX/XX/XXXX, but not processed until XX/XX/XXXX, resulting in late fees and unfavorable reporting to the credit bureaus again. I notified Yamaha in XX/XX/XXXX, when it came to my attention through my credit reporting service and they waived the late fees and corrected the credit reporting again. In XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX filed chapter XXXX bankruptcy individually. We are not married. I setup an online account through Yamahas online account management system and setup automatic payments in the amount of {$460.00} XXXX over the actual payment amount by a few dollars ), which have successfully drafted from my personal bank account for months XXXX if not years ) without issue. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX drafted {$460.00} from my account, then on XX/XX/XXXX, Yamaha canceled my automatic payments and failed to notify me or the co-borrower, Mr. XXXX. In fact, it wasnt until Friday, XX/XX/XXXX, I opened correspondence addressed to XXXX XXXX, from Yamaha Motor Finance. It was a demand letter, notifying Mr. XXXX that his account is 30 days past due in the amount of {$930.00}, inclusive of {$79.00} in late fees for XXXX and XXXX. I immediately contacted Yamaha and learned the following : 1. last automatic payment was debited from my checking account on XX/XX/XXXX ; 2. Yamaha canceled autopay on XX/XX/XXXX ; 3. Yamaha never notified me or Mr. XXXX that the autopay had been canceled via email, mail or telephone, nor did they ever notify me that the account was late ; 4. Yamaha refused to accept payment for the account and refused to remove the late fees from the account because they waived previous late fees despite the fact that the late fees were waived due to errors made by the bank, not me or Mr. XXXX ; 5. The letter sent to XXXX XXXX is in violation of Federal bankruptcy laws ; 6. Yamaha representative stated to me that I am responsible for the cancelation of the automatic payments and that I must dispute everything because of the bankruptcy which is not associated to my name or credit file. I have nothing to do with the bankruptcy and made every good faith effort to make timely monthly payments, including continuing the automatic payments that I had established directly from my account. Yamaha unilaterally canceled these payments and never notified me about it nor did they every contact me regarding any past due amounts. I have never received any correspondence on the subject from them. It is a violation of Federal law to hold a consumer responsible for the exclusive actions of the bank and to then demand the payment of late fees which are the result of negligence on behalf of the financial institution. It is also a violation to hold me accountable for the bankruptcy of another individual and to fail to afford me the rights I have contractually as a consumer to be notified equally of actions on the account. I am requesting assistance in : 1. Removing the erroneous late fees of {$79.00}, 2. bringing the account to current good-standing, 3. removing all inaccurate reports made to the credit bureaus due to the negligence of Yamaha, 4. pursuing legal action against Yamaha for violations of Federal law, including the Federal Trade Commission Act ( FTC Act ), the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform Consumer Protection Act ( Dodd-Frank Act ), the Gramm-Leach-Biley Act ( GLB Act ), the Truth in Lending Act ( TILA ), the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ), The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ), the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, and any other applicable or potentially applicable Federal, state or local laws.

In addition to charging fees that I didn't expect, Yamaha Motor Finance USA Inc. went out of their way to make it inconvenient to pay off my loan. On XX/XX/2018, I attempted to pay a {$600.00} installation for my loan to finance a new XXXX XXXX motorcycle via ACH bank transfer. Note that ACH bank transfer is one of the only user friendly methods of paying off the loan that Yamaha Motor Finance allows, as credit and debit cards are not permitted. From the beginning I found their website ( https : //yamahamotorfinanceusa.com/ ) difficult to use. There was an error in the account information that I provided. Most financial services will allow either direct banking login or micro deposits to authenticate a bank, but not Yamaha Motor Finance. They attempted to charge the bank with incorrect info, and gave me a returned-check fee of {$27.00}. I corrected my bank account info promptly on XX/XX/2018 and provided a payment of {$600.00}, when Yamaha Motor Finance had informed me that my check had been returned. Note that at the time that Yamaha Motor Finance informed me my check had been informed they did NOT inform me about the {$27.00} returned check fee, but hid it in the account statements. The next month, I had difficulty with Yamaha Motor Finance 's website. I attempted to make another {$600.00} payment on XX/XX/2018, but because of their user interface, I charged myself {$6000.00}. I did not find this out until I read the ~8pt font on my confirmation page. I immediately called Yamaha Motor Finance 's customer service line, and they informed me that they could not cancel the charge once it was sent, and that I would have to call my bank to stop payment, which I did. Once again, I was charged a {$27.00} returned check fee. Luckily, I was able to submit another {$600.00} payment to Yamaha Motor Finance that was cleared ( XX/XX/2018 ) BEFORE Yamaha Motor Finance penalized my account for issuing a stop-payment. I'll explain this soon. When I called the customer service desk to request that my fee be waived, I was confronted by a very abrasive customer service team that essentially blamed me for making an error, which I believe is dishonest, because I have never made errors using any other financial institution 's website. Finally, my greatest complaint comes from XX/XX/2018, when I again attempted to to make an ACH payment, being especially careful to pay attention to the dollar amounts and banking info. When I attempted to process the payment, I was given an error code. When I called customer service, the first level customer service agent told me that I would no longer be able to use ACH payments to pay my card, without any definite end term, and that this was essentially a penalty for issuing a stop-payment. Then the agent cheerfully told me that I was welcome to use either XXXX or XXXX XXXX to issue the payment, or pay with a banking check via mail. This type of extortion resembles XXXX XXXX Scams. When I tried to escalate this issue to an accounts manager, she rudely informed me that if I had read the account disclosures that I would know that such a penalty exists. While on the phone with the accounts manager, I used the website to bring up PDFs of all the account disclosures. I searched the accounts disclosures for any reference to the stop payment ACH restriction penalty, and could find none. I asked the manager where in the account disclosures it was, and she could not give me an answer. She proceeded to put me on hold for about 10 minutes. Then came back on the phone to tell me that she could not find the place where this penalty was referenced, but that it was in the cardholder agreement. Yamaha Motor Finance 's poor website design, aggressive fee schedule, and inaccessible cardholder agreements, along with the way they specifically make it difficult and inconvenient to make payments on a loan, are designed specifically to garnish fees and push customers to default on their loans. This has been the worst loan service I have ever received. I warn all to be very careful when financing with this company.

This complaint is against the predatory and unconscionable billing practices by Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation. I note from your online Consumer Complaint Database that you have had hundreds of complaints lodged against Yamaha Finance. As background, in early XXXX I bought a new Yamaha XXXX Boat at the XXXX Boat Show. The dealer offered me no hassle financing through Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation, which I accepted. In XX/XX/XXXX I placed the monthly payments on my XXXX XXXX Bill Pay feature. The first payment for XX/XX/XXXX of {$260.00} was timely paid. All additional monthly payments between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX were received by Yamaha either before the due date or within the grace period. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a phone call from a Yamaha representative who stated they had not received my XXXX payment, and a late fee of {$39.00} was due. I explained to him that I was departing on a short vacation the very next morning, and I would look into the matter when I returned. Upon my return I checked my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX history to determine what happened. I checked back for XXXX ( XXXX ) months prior to XXXX, and all the XXXX XXXX payments were received by Yamaha either before the XXXX of the month, or within the grace period. The XXXX payment was processed by Yamaha on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX. However, I strongly believe, based upon the 2 year payment history, that the check was received in Yamahas post office box on either Friday, XX/XX/XXXX or Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX, within the grace period, but it was not processed by their employees those days. On return from my trip, my mail contained the bill from Yamaha for XXXX wherein they assessed me {$79.00} in late fees- for what the extra {$39.00} was added I didnt know. On XX/XX/XXXX I typed a letter to Yamaha explaining the circumstances, and mailed it to them. I requested they waive the late fee based on my excellent payment record for 2 years, however I never received any acknowledgment or response from them. Thus, on XX/XX/XXXX, I called Yamaha and spoke to a representative named XXXX. He told me that I now owed {$110.00} in late fees! I was furious and asked to speak with a supervisor. I was connected to a lady named XXXX. She alleged that they searched my record and found another late payment in early XXXX, [ but I was never notified of it, nor did they ever include it in their monthly bills ]. In order to save further time and expense, I offered to pay her the {$39.00} for the payment that was processed by Yamaha on XX/XX/XXXX, however she would not accept my offer. Instead, she demanded the entire alleged amount. That is when I decided to file this complaint with CFPB. Note that I changed my XXXX XXXX Bill Pay order so that all future payments by XXXX XXXX will be sent out on the XXXX of the month instead of the XXXX, to ensure that possible slow postal service could no longer result in a late payment. Then I went online to the Yamaha website and discovered what they had done. When my payment for XX/XX/XXXX was received by Yamaha on XX/XX/XXXX, they first took out the late payment from XX/XX/XXXX, then alleged that my payment for XXXX was not in the full amount, so they assessed another late fee for XXXX [ even though the payment was received early and they knew I was disputing the first late fee ]. Presumably, Yamaha wants to continue this improper and usurious accounting method until they can allege that I owe them a XXXX dollars in late fees and additional interest! Therefore, I restate my position that I am willing to pay Yamaha {$39.00} for the late fee they charged me on XX/XX/XXXX, providing that they cancel all other late fees and extra interest that have been or will be assessed due to alleged late payments that occurred during XXXX. I also seek agreement that they will not attempt to damage my credit rating over this dispute. Any assistance the CFPB can give me in this regard will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, XXXX XXXX XXXX

Payment due on XXXX Late Fee {$39.00} and NSF Fee {$39.00} assessed on XXXX due to the account that it automatically drafts from was put on hold for missing the debit card it drafts from. Got statement in on XX/XX/XXXX for XXXX and realized the payment did not clear. Called in and explained situation to the representative and asked him if he could waive the {$79.00} of fees. He got supervisor approval and said the fees would be waived and he took my payment over the phone of {$180.00}. On XX/XX/XXXX I called to confirm the payment had posted ( because it had not cleared my account ), the representative said they see it posted to the account ( said nothing about any late fees owing ). On XX/XX/XXXX the payment of {$180.00} cleared bank. XXXX at approximately XXXX I received a message that I am 8 days past due on my payment. I checked bank account and shows the XXXX payment of {$180.00} cleared on XXXX. I called and they said that they are showing my account past due for {$39.00} for a fee that was not approved to be waived in XXXX and because that fee was not paid by XXXX I was charged another late fee for not paying the late fee!! I then proceeded to tell him of my conversation on XX/XX/XXXX and he sees all the notes, however the notes state only ONE of the {$39.00} fees were waived and that the second fee was not waived. I told him this was not told to me and I was told the fees were approved to be waived. During this call I went online to my account and it shows that they applied the late fee first to my XXXX XXXX and therefore I still owe {$39.00} for my XXXX payment and another {$39.00} for the late payment fee added on to the other late payment fee. I went round and round with him and requested a supervisor several times. Finally he sent me over to a very rude supervisor who basically told me too bad, I will have a 30 day late on my credit and that I need to pay the {$79.00} late fees. I begged him to please look at the notes and my conversation from XX/XX/XXXX, he said there was nothing he could do. I asked to speak to his manager and he said here is no one else above him. I again pleaded with him to waive the latest late fee and help me with getting my 30 day late cleared since there was some kind of miscommunication on his employees side. He again said nothing they could do about the 30 day late on my account but he would waive the 2nd late fee. I realized I would get no where with this supervisor and said thank you and we hung up. I called back about 45 minutes later and got another guy by the name of XXXX, he was very nice and I explained to him everything AGAINhe said he didnt see the {$39.00} payment that I had made earlier but it can take XXXX 3 days to post. He also said he is going to request a copy of the phone recording from XX/XX/XXXX and have his supervisor review and make any corrections to the account based on that phone recording. If his supervisor is the same guy that states he was the overall manager I am not confident anything will be done. XXXX then told me that he only sees 21 days late in XXXX and 8 days late in XXXX XXXX which should not have been any days late, but they are counting the new late fee ) HOWEVER, in the comments section he said he sees that someone notated I was 30 days in XXXX which is impossible since we are only on the XXXX day in XXXX, he agreed with this and said he was going to escalate to his supervisor to correct for me. Based on my original conversation with the first supervisor I dont feel confident that anything will be corrected on my behalf. The have conversations recorded for a reason and in this case I dont even know if anyone will review it. I do not feel there is any consumer protection. I have worked hard for my credit standing and I just cant believe it will be ruined over a {$39.00} fee. My obligation to my contract was paid within the 30 days. I am hoping there is someone ( such as your department ) that can hold companies accountable.

I purchased a new XXXX boat for {$77000.00} with a {$2000.00} down payment financing {$75000.00} for 240 months on XX/XX/XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX, TX. I accepted their financing at 10.49 % interest because they said it was a luxury purchase and even banks would be that high. I later found that not to be true from my own credit union. But this is not my primary issue. I received my 1st statement dated XX/XX/XXXX from Yamaha Financial XXXX and made 1st payment on XX/XX/XXXX of {$740.00}. On my 2nd statement dated XX/XX/XXXX ( payment made XX/XX/XXXX ) it reflects {$210.00} to principle and {$530.00} to interest. Not a problem. On my 3rd statement dated XX/XX/XXXX ( payment made XX/XX/XXXX ) it reflects {$19.00} to principle and {$740.00} to interest. Starting to be a problem. Somehow, according to customer service at XXXX there was a glitch that sent out another statement on XX/XX/XXXX reflecting all the same figures as 3rd statement. Starting to get confusing now. On my next statement 0n XX/XX/XXXX ( payment made XX/XX/XXXX ) it reflects {$120.00} to principle and {$620.00} interest. Somehow, again, I received a second glitch statement XX/XX/XXXX reflecting same figures as above. Im not understanding this. Then, again, another statement for XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX. This time the numbers dont match above XXXX statements. It reflects {$0.00} to principle and {$740.00} to interest. Now we have a real problem. On my next statement XX/XX/XXXX ( payment made XX/XX/XXXX ). Again, reflects {$0.00} to principle and {$740.00}. Now I cant handle the confusion any longer so I call XXXX and get a total run-around from customer service. They would not allow me to speak to someone with more knowledge and ability to look into my account. I demanded my account to be looked into and to get a call back. It never happened. On my next statement of XX/XX/XXXX it reflects {$0.00} to principle and {$0.00} to interest. What happened to my payment on XX/XX/XXXX. I never received a XXXX statement, and its not in my online XXXX account. I made a double payment of {$1400.00} on XX/XX/XXXX trying to stay ahead of this mess with no help from anybody at XXXX. I will be listing some of the contact names below. On my XX/XX/XXXX statement it reflects {$0.00} to principle and {$0.00} to interest. WHAT, after a double payment! On my XX/XX/XXXX statement it reflects {$0.00} to principle and {$740.00} to interest. ( Payment was made XX/XX/XXXX ). Now I have made numerous calls to XXXX and spoke with several customer service repsXXXX XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Who, to a person, could not understand or even follow, much less explain whats going on with my account. I last spoke with XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and she said she would send this up to a higher level because she agreed this is messed up. She said she was off on XX/XX/XXXX and would be on vacation for the following week and would call me back on Monday XX/XX/XXXX. Well, that didnt happen either. Nobody has contacted me. And I clearly explained to XXXX I would not be making another payment until I get answers and she agreed with me. I have now received my XX/XX/XXXX statement reflecting {$0.00} to principle and {$0.00} to interest. And, its claiming a payment due of {$1400.00}. Also, when I spoke to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX she said their system says I owe over {$1000.00} in interest just to get current. From the beginning of the loan on XX/XX/XXXX to now ( as I can decipher ) {$540.00} has actually gone to principle. My biggest concern is there is no way to understand the statements and nobody to explain whats going on. When XXXX dollars are going to interest this loan will never be paid off.

I purchased a new XXXX XXXX XXXX from a dealer in PA. I utilized Yamaha Motor Finance USA to finance part of the purchase and I paid cash for the balance the end of XX/XX/XXXX. Apparently, when I purchased the XXXX XXXX was also at the same time their statements were being printed and I had not receive my first billing statement until the second cycle of billing, which then showed the $ XXXX month a late fee and finance charges. After several phone calls with their collection agency I was finally contacted by someone at Yamaha who discovered the problem with missing the first payment. I made an additional payment of {$110.00} in XXXX to make up for the missing first payment and squared my account of late fees and interest. My billing cycle is $ XXXX month due on the XXXX of the month. I had established Yamaha as an automatic payment for delivery on or by the XXXX of the month to their " Lock Box '' location in XXXX XXXX South Dakota. I have a print out from bank of the deliver by dates for all of my payment to Yamaha which all show before the due date of the XXXX. After I finally got my account cleared-up on XXXX I auto paid XXXX without and issue, but Yamaha again hit me with a late fee and finance charges for my XX/XX/XXXX payment. The first I learned of this is when their collection agency called me on XX/XX/XXXX asking when I was going to make a payment since my payment was late. After indicating that my check was sent for delivery for XX/XX/XXXX, and If Yamaha can not process their payments timely, I should not be hit with finance charges and late fees. They told me to either use Yamaha 's electronic banking system to make payments or my payments may be late again due to the time it takes to deliver mail to South Dakota. So I contacted Yamaha directly again. When I started explaining the issue to the first person she told me she gets that complaint a lot, but they can not reverse any charges - you have to pay them to get them cleared. I asked to speak to her supervisor - she transferred my call and again I got another person who expected payment of the interest and late fees. Again I gave check numbers and dates they were delivered to Yamaha ALL BEFORE THE DUE DATE. Again I got " the only way to ensure proper credit was to use their banking clearing house ''. Use of their banking clearing house is not a requirement for their loan re-payment. However - if they are going to make a payment as late you are forced to used their system or pay interest and finance charges. My obligation is to provide Yamaha my payment on or by the due date Which I have since my first payment XXXX. Either XXXX is unable to process my, or other customers payments, or its a deliberate failure to process checks timely increasing finance and interest changes which their collect agency quickly tries to collect. Every incorrect statement that continues to be sent through the USPS after my contact to make them aware of the error constitutes mail fraud. Yet, they continue to have their collection agency call me almost daily at work, send me e-mails and letters monthly, yet each time I point out the errors they tell me " they '' can not fix the account I have to pay the indicated amount.

I financed a boat with Yahama Financial Services in XX/XX/XXXX. The monthly payment is {$440.00}. I have paid {$600.00} per month since the first payment. After making a few payments, I noticed the additional {$150.00} was being applied to the next month 's payment instead of the principal. I called and Yahama stated that I must call in each month to request the additional to go towards principal. I was paid 4 months ahead. So when I called in XX/XX/XXXX, I asked for the full amount to be applied towards principal. This happened from November 2021-February 2022. When I paid my {$600.00} in XXXX and called to have the {$150.00} applied towards principal, the remaining balance of {$450.00} went towards interest. I called and was told this was correct. In XXXX when I received my statement, the full {$600.00} went towards interest. I called again and it was discovered that I owed accrued daily interest from XXXX from all of the payments being applied towards principal. I was told I had to pay around {$2300.00} in accrued interest before any money would go towards principal. The person I spoke with said that she would put in a request for the payments to be reallocated from XXXX so the {$440.00} would go towards the note and the additional {$150.00} would go towards principal. She told me it may take a few weeks. I made my {$600.00} each month for XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. All {$600.00} went towards interest. When I called in XXXX, I was told my account was under review ( from XXXX ) and no one could tell me how much " accrued '' interest I still owed. I spoke with a supervisor and she was able to correct the payments from XXXX XXXX XXXX, or so I was told. When I received my XX/XX/XXXX statement, {$19.00} was applied towards principal and {$580.00} went towards interest. I called AGAIN and was told I owed the back interest. I asked the person, XXXX # XXXX, whom I spoke with if he could see where it was supposed to be fixed in XXXX. He saw where I called in but told me I still owed {$180.00} in accrued interest. I asked to speak to a supervisor again, and was told she ( XXXX # XXXX ) would put my account under review AGAIN. I feel like I am being over charged in interest with this not being handled. I have made {$3600.00} in payments and my balance has decreased {$19.00}. I submitted a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. They have not received any correspondence from Yahama. I would like my account corrected and proof that I was not overcharged in interest with this mix up. I also would like to make a complaint about the numerous disconnections when I call. I get disconnected at least 3 times when I call and when I ask the agents if they can call me back if we are disconnected, I am told they can not. I have been on hold for over an hour before and was disconnected and had to call again and was connected with a new person. This is ridiculous! I have spent several hours over the past few months on the phone with Yahama. I was on the phone with them 1 hour and 23 minutes tonight. I am attaching all of my statements for the past year. I am not allowed to see any statements before XX/XX/XXXX online.

On XX/XX/XXXX I purchased a motorcycle through a local dealership of a Yamaha product. The loan was originally financed through XXXX XXXX. They did an excellent job servicing my loan. At some point late in XXXX or early XXXX Yamaha Motor Finance purchased all Yamaha based loans from XXXX XXXX with NO NOTICE at any time to customers including myself. I set my account up on Auto Pay in XX/XX/XXXX and have never changed my auto pay nor was I alerted to any changes. I have confirmed through the original deal that Yamaha Motor Finance does not service these loans they bought back from XXXX XXXX but instead sub-contract the servicing to a company call XXXX. Again, to this day XXXX have never received any notices, documents or other information from Yamaha Motor Finance OR XXXX XXXX Servicing. I only noticed that my XXXX XXXX loan was closed out earlier this year and then saw the Yamaha Motor Finance account opened. Since my credit bureau remained in good standing with no issues and I remained on Auto Pay I was not concerned. In XX/XX/XXXX I sold the motorcycle I had financed through the dealership I purchased from and they had immense issues paying off the loan since the only loan number available was XXXX XXXX 's original loan number and Yamaha Motor Finance didn't finance in house and XXXX was unable to locate the loan. Regardless, the loan was paid in Full. I recently received notice on XXXX XXXX of a " past due '' outstanding balance and a letter from Yamaha stating I owe {$40.00}. Attached is a screenshot of my XXXX XXXX account showing NO LATE PAYS. I also called Yamaha Motor Finance last week who advised my account balance is zero and they have no record of my owing {$40.00} or any means for me to pay such. The erroneous reporting to the Credit Bureaus has impacted my credit with an almost 100 point reduction and that is unacceptable. I set my account up for Auto Pay at the initiation of the loan, for the 1st of the month, with XXXX XXXX. .It automatically transferred when the loan was purchased by Yamaha and, again, I received absolutely no transfer information, request for new auto pay set up or any other notices. In talking with Yamaha Motor Finance they insist it was set up on the 3rd of the month which is ridiculous and would have made my account late every month this year. Clearly, per my screenshot, it has never been reported late. The hit to my credit bureau did not happen until after the motorcycle was paid off. This account is paid in full and has been for more than 30 days. There is no balance outstanding, per Yamaha Motor Finance, and they are incorrectly reporting a negative and drastically impacting my score and I am not the only consumer experiencing this issue. The local dealership, XXXX XXXX, has been contacted by numerous clients who are experiencing the same issues as I am. This is a not an isolated incident and their unfair and erroneous practices are ruining my credit.

I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX boat on XX/XX/XXXX. At the time of purchase, Yamaha offered a finance option which put all payments in excess of the required monthly amount directly towards the principle. This was the option chosen ( section 7, paragraph 2 of the loan agreement ). The payments began in XXXX of XXXX. At this time XXXX XXXX was managing Yamahas loan program. My payments were in excess of the required amount, and in XX/XX/XXXX I began doubling the required payment. The amount above the required payment was always properly placed against the principle ( as annotated on each monthly statement ). In XXXX of XXXX Yamaha Financial Services began management of my loan. At this time my payments stopped being applied according to the loan agreement. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with customer service ( XXXX XXXX. XXXX ) and was ensured that the amount over the required payment would be put against the principle. It was not. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a statement that showed my required payment as {$760.00} ( double the required amount ). I again called Yamaha and made the following memo for record : Spoke with XXXX @ XXXX from XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) on XXXX XX/XX/XXXX. I voiced my concerns that the required monthly payment that they had, appeared to be incorrect, and that I believed that the application of the additional payment was not going directly to the principle as described in my loan agreement. She stated that the monthly payment had been corrected to {$380.00} but the additional payment had been put against the next months payment, rather than the principle as per the loan agreement. I explained that I had already sent a query to XXXX. She also submitted a request for review, and I requested an email response from that review. I have never received an e-mail response from that review. I have stated on my payments that all amounts in excess of the required payment, be put against the principle as per the loan agreement. In conversation ; once again with Yamaha Financial Services, I was told that I could not put that on my mailed payment, and that I needed to call every month if I wanted it changed. I made one attempt and was told that they couldnt change it unless I made the payment over the phone. I have sent approximately 10 12 e-mails to Yamaha on this subject. I have had 1 response, and they just again quoted according to the waterfall I received a call from account admin on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX. We discussed the problem with the application of the excess payments. I had previously emailed a copy of the loan agreement an we reviewed it together. The agent attached the file and forwarded it for further review. I received an email on the evening of XX/XX/XXXX stating that would need to call every time that I wanted the excess to be applied in this manner.

I was never notified by either lender XXXX XXXX or Yamaha Financial Corporation USA that my loan was being transferred to Yamaha Financial Corporation. They made one attempt to contact me via phone regarding payment but I had no idea who they were and they asked for my SSN, DOB, Name, Address. I refused to provide this information to anyone on an inbound call. My payments are scheduled through Auto Pay and were sent to XXXX XXXX After talking to a manager ( today ) he said that they only transferred the payments for 3 months. Again, I was never notified about this policy. After 3 months and while XXXX was still receiving my checks they decided to discontinue transferring my payments and put me in a negative standing. I received 1 notice in the mail regarding late payment and again ignored it due to suspicion of a scam/fraud. After receiving the 2nd notice I called in skeptical to provide my personal information but did so anyways. I spoke with a representative who for the first time explained to me that Yamaha Financial Corporation USA had taken over my loan. I sent in a payment for the 2 months XXXX XXXX did not transfer my payment and paid the upcoming 3rd payment in advance. In 2 years all my payments have been on time. I've attached bank info to demonstrate XXXX continued to receive my payments but just did not process them after XXXX. The person I spoke with in XXXX confirmed that my credit would not be damaged due to this. I told the supervisor XXXX ( employee ID XXXX ) to listen to the call and validate what I was told at the time. He told me it would take a while to do this, which is a lie, and I was more than happy to wait on hold. I was misled/lied to by the original collection officer about the negative reporting and a supervisor ( XXXX ( employee ID XXXX ) ) did nothing to fix it. I value my credit and have over XXXX on time payments in my history. He told me that he would not make any changes to the wrongful reporting because I missed payments. Which is not the case, either XXXX or Yamaha Motor Corporation received every monthly payment since the loan origination. See attachments. He spent more time trying to explain to me what had happened with the merger than it would take listening to the call I had with the previous representative and fixed what they had done to my credit. I am very displeased with the communication from Yamaha Motor Corporation USA. They made very little effort to notify me of the change in lender. My payment history defines my ability to make payments online but XXXX did not care a single bit. Continued to say that " packets were sent out ''. Seems odd that I wouldn't receive a single thing about a merger ( new lender ) but received the 1st and 2nd notice without issue about payments not posting.

I was receiving normal monthly statements/bills. My last paper statement/bill was received in XXXX. Around the end of XXXX I realized that I had not received a statement/bill for a little while. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Yamaha Financial Services and eventually spoke withe a representative. I told the rep that I had not received a bill and asked why. I was told that they switched to electronic statements. I DID NOT receive notification about this nor did I sign a consent form to receive statements electronically. I told the rep that I never received any written or email communication about this. Turns out, Yamaha Financial Services DOES NOT have my email address on file. You can not send a bill electronically if you do not have an address to send it to. I then told the rep that I want paper statements mailed to me and that I also needed to make a payment. He provided my payment amount {$250.00} for XXXX but failed to provide late fees that had accrued. I told him that i normally pay {$260.00} so I made my normal payment thinking everything was okay and then I received a past due notice in the mail. It was dated the XXXX and I called the XXXX so I disregarded the notice, but I kept it for my records because it had instructions to be able to access my account online. I normally shred my bills after I pay them so I did not have my account number to gain access to the online account, which is another reason I kept the letter. After I received notification from XXXX that I had a loan reporting past due, I logged into my online Yamaha account to find out that I was past due a late fee that the rep failed to mention that I owed. I called Yamaha Financial on XX/XX/XXXX and again asked about the paper statements, the rep verified again that they do not have my email address on file, and he also didn't ask for it. I told them that I wanted the late fees waived, and that I wanted paper statements. After him giving canned apologies and not being able to help me, I was eventually placed on hold for several minutes and then the call was disconnected. This was a 30 minute ordeal. I would like to know why I was given my normal payment amount and not the total amount including late fees of {$39.00}. Which turned out to be {$79.00} because I made the payment after the XXXX due date. I have had the loan since 2013 and have never missed a payment. Now I have a past due payment on my credit report which I have to waste time to dispute and I am still not receiving paper statements after requesting them. I also really want to know why and how they decided to provide electronic statements without my permission and without having my email address.

I purchased a used XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Motorcycle from XXXX XXXX , XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX , GA. XXXX During the process I was asked if I wanted to purchase their extended warranty, at a cost of {$2000.00}. I said no. I had someone with me as well who also will attest I said no. I have a document from the company where it says I declined their warranty. And yet I have a {$2000.00} addition to my loan without my consent. I called XXXX at XXXX XXXX and complained about this, stating I had refused the warranty, after I questioned what the amount in " Taxable/Other Non Taxable " was. She said it was for taxes on the motorcycle and the warranty. I told her i refused the warranty, signed off on refusing the warranty and wont take the motorcycle under false pretenses. She simply said " Oh, sometimes they make you take a warranty.. to get the loan '' .. I said I was never TOLD I would be taking the warranty whether I wanted it or not. The documents SHOW i refused this warranty. I was suppose to hear back from XXXX , she has declined to call me. I called several times, trying to reach her, left messages to the effect I refuse this loan agreement, this is tantamount to loan fraud, and demanded they remove this warranty from my paperwork. They also " padded '' their document fees and " Freight and prep '' fees to the tune of nearly {$900.00} on a USED motorcycle. THERE IS NO FREIGHT AND PREP. they didnt PUT anything together, they didnt even change the oil or air filter or spark plugs. there was no " PREP or FREIGHT '', the motorcycle was traded in. This is an outrageous extra charge to deliberately " Back door '' the buyer ( Me ), as they had a low FRONT end price on the bike, and had every intention of swindling the buyer on the backend. At NO TIME did XXXX go LINE BY LINE and explain the " extraneous charges ''. I had been held up for 3.5 HOURS, was the end of the day, was after I got off work, and they simply used this against me in my signing off on what I thought was a simple loan. The Amount I financed I THOUGHT was the total WITH INTEREST ... I was charged an additional {$6200.00} ON TOP of the {$3500.00} I put down on a {$6800.00} MOTORCYCLE. This is dealer deception and backroom swindling at its worst. I told XXXX if they refused to take this charge OFF my account, then I wanted a full refund of every penny I put into this bike, some {$4700.00} so far, and they could come and TAKE THE MOTORCYCLE ... I have yet to hear back..

InXX/XX/XXXX, I paid off a boat loan that originated with XXXX XXXX, but taken over by Yamaha Motor Finance in XXXX XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from XXXX XXXX showing that the loan had been paid off and the account was closed. I still had not received the title as of that time. I had contacted Yamaha Customer Service in XXXX after I received confirmation that the money I sent to pay off the loan had cleared my bank. I asked how I could expect before I received the title and was told 30-45 days. When I still had not received the title by XXXX, I contacted Yamaha again and spoke to a supervisor. He told me that he had placed another request in to the department that takes care of titles to see where it was and why it was taking so long. I waited the allotted time that the supervisor told me to wait and still no title, no phone call or no email. I called Customer Service again and asked to speak to the same supervisor. He was there and told me that the only thing he could do was place another requisition to the collateral department and told me that he would absolutely contact me back with 24-48 hours to give me an update. He also informed me that the only way he could converse to the collateral department was through company email, that he could not call them directly. I waited four days and no return call or information. I began researching online for Yamaha Motor financing and was able to locate an email address for the collateral department. I gave them all the pertinent information about my account and the problem I was having with the title. As of today, I still have had no call back, no notification, no outreach or comment from Yamaha or their collateral department. It has been four months now since this process began and no email or contact from Yamaha. The sale of this boat to an individual is pending the delivery of the title. I am already very displeased with the service I am receiving from the company. If the gentleman backs out of the purchase of my boat, I will be extremely upset as it will intensify my already struggling financial situation. I am unable to attach a copy of the email sent to the collateral department, as well as the email I received from XXXX XXXX. I can inform you that the email from me to the collateral department was made XX/XX/2020 and the email from XXXX XXXX showing the account had be closed was received by me on XX/XX/2020.

I am a co-borrower on a loan with XXXX XXXX, which was purchased by Yamaha Motor Finance and my loan was transferred to the new company. The borrower is my ex-husband and he filed for bankruptcy in XX/XX/2020. At that time, I had a registered online account using my email address, from which I made monthly, automatic online payments. Without notification to me, Yamaha canceled these payments and my loan went into default. To date, Yamaha never notified me that they stopped the payments and then began reporting the payments as late to the credit bureaus, negatively impacting my credit. I contacted them to resolve this and after much trouble, they finally removed the reporting and allowed me to pay the amount due. Yamaha has disabled the payment function from my online account and will not enable it because they say that XXXX XXXX my ex-husband ) is the only one with access. No matter how many times I explain to them that he filed bankruptcy, they play XXXX and tell me that I have no legal rights because I am a co-borrower. It is clear that Yamaha does not understand the legal definition of co-borrower, nor the difference between a co-borrower and co-signer. I believe Yamaha is in violation of the Truth In Lending Act, among other federal regulations and want to take action against them. I previously filed a complaint with the CFPB and XXXX and Yamaha dismisses the complaints by saying, " we'll send a letter to the borrower, '' but the letter says nothing and they only address it to XXXX. One of their representatives even advised me to violate federal law and open mail addressed to XXXX! They are a horrible company and are not treating me fairly as a borrower and now sole person responsible. I believe Yamaha is in violation of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Electronic Fund Transfer Act all because I am an UNMARRIED FEMALE. Yamaha is discriminating against me by treating me, an unmarried female, differently than they treat the male borrower under the guise of claiming that it is because I am a co-borrower. Legally, there is no difference and we are both entitled to the same rights. The boat is titled XXXX OR XXXX XXXX, and therefore we have the same legal rights. PLEASE HELP ME.

In XXXX of 2019, I purchased a four wheeler from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX located in XXXX Maryland and financed the atv through Yamaha Financing. While signing all of the necessary paperwork to finance, I was never informed of the interest rate, and the monthly payment. When asked I was told Yamaha Financing would be in contact with me. I then asked again if I could set up direct deposit for my monthly payments and received the same response. After the purchase of the atv I called Yamaha Financing after being told they would contact me after they received the paperwork from the dealer that never happened and to my knowledge set up an account and added my credit card to the file to obtain the direct deposit without any worry. I was assured that everything was okay and that the direct deposit would have been handled after speaking to a representative and thoroughly setting up an account. They did inform me of the interest rate, monthly payment, etc, however this apparently was not done properly on their end without my knowledge. After I realized something was hitting my credit score drastically I did some investigation and learned the direct deposit was not going through after I was under the impression everything was set up and confirmed through the finance department. Immediately I took action and once again called Yamaha Financing and after transferring through multiple different people at this company they told me an account was never set up and that I had missed payments. To make the situation worse because I " supposedly '' missed payments they froze my account making me unable to look at it or pay until they did an investigation and only a specific person there could unfreeze it and it took more time, adding onto the late fees. I paid the late fees because I was more worried about my credit score and missing a payment although I feel as if it was not my fault, I was unaware and under the wrong impression after all with Yamaha Financing. After multiple phone calls, created and recreated accounts with Yamaha, and speaking to the bank I finally confirmed that my direct deposit was going through and made sure I then saw it coming out of my account each month, however, now it has left with a huge hit to my credit score which I see as unfair.

I financed two XXXX XXXX with Yamaha Finance USA. I made monthly payments on time for 7 years. The account was set on " auto pay ''. The final payment came due and was {$60.00} greater than the recurring payment of {$320.00}. I was contacted via email saying the account was past due - much to my surprise as the regular monthly payment of {$320.00} had been withdrawn from my bank account, on time, as in the past. When I got in touch with Yamaha Finance I was told I owed {$100.00}. I made the payment on the call and asked for the transaction history to demonstrate the account was paid off. When I received that history, I was surprised to find a late fee of {$39.00}, which there was no mention of on the call. That history is : XXXX - email notice of draft reminder ( as usual ) XXXX - draft drawn on my bank account of {$320.00} ( as usual ) XXXX - email notice of account past due XXXX - payment made ( due to my phone call regarding past due notice ) of {$100.00} which included difference between final payment and recurring payment of {$60.00}, a late fee of {$39.00} and finally an additional interest charge of {$2.00} XXXX - email of account history showing late fee, interest and account balance - which I had to request After receiving that email on XXXX with the account detail, I requested that the fee be refunded, and I was declined. However the only way I found that out was by me contacting them again today ( XXXX ) to check on the status, which was not easy, since the account had been paid in full it was no longer an active account. I am concerned there may be a practice going on that is at least unethical and at most fraudulent and possibly should be reported as a whistleblowing incident. I was very pleased to see Yamaha has a compliance and whistleblowing program. However, when I spoke with the account reps ( XXXX and XXXX XXXX, neither was aware of such a program. I absolutely love the waverunners, have owned various models over 20 years. Great product. I am concerned the finance department is acting unethically and damaging the reputation. Most importantly, other customers may be getting ripped off in the same fashion and simply give up because the amount is not all that significant. Please help in addressing this matter.

On XX/XX/20 I sent an email to ( XXXX ) that I was advised to do so by a representative. I advised that I have always used bill pay via my bank XXXX XXXX and never was received late fee until XX/XX/XXXX when the payment was sent out a day earlier ( XX/XX/20 ) than the payment in XX/XX/XXXX ( XX/XX/20 payment sent ). I received a response on XX/XX/20 saying they aren't able to locate my account which I replied with all information they required ( full name, address, phone number, full account number and confirmed email. Received another email requesting more information and documents that didn't seem necessary for a simple late fee refund that shouldn't have been charged in the first place. I than replied asking for a supervisor to call me ASAP to discuss and hopefully resolve the issue via telephone and nothing, I called in to XXXX to speak to representative and phone call was disconnected. I than sent another email on XX/XX/20 requesting for a call since they disconnected my call the last time I called in trying to discuss the situation. Since than, I believe they have illegally took a portion of my normal payment to pay late fees and charged me another late fee because they took money from my normal payment that was paid in full and applied elsewhere/fees. They are charging additional illegal fees and not helping consumers even during a national pandemic. I finally got to a supervisor today XX/XX/20 explaining the situation and wasn't helpful asked to speak to a supervisor and said would forward a message but couldn't give me a name or telephone that i could be expecting a call. asked for his information to keep for my records and he advised he didn't have to give me that information and would pass the message along. Very rude and unethical procedures this company has shown. I have always paid my monthly payments on time and in full and have received the worst customer service in my life, I hope there is legal action taken against this company and they pay for there wrong doing. Also check the XXXX with same complaint, I wish I had read the reviews before accepting a loan with yamaha.

My installment loan transferred from XXXX XXXX to Yamaha Finance XX/XX/XXXX. During that time my payment was due. I tried several times to call Yamaha Finance to let time no that I was not able to make my payment ( due to an error on their end. ) I was unsuccessful getting someone on the phone, so I emailed them. I received a letter from them ( XX/XX/XXXX ) stating that the original letter they sent me had the wrong account number on it. I made a payment the following week, but they still reported me late to the credit bureaus. XXXX was also supposed to be my last payment however they are stating that I have a balance of XXXX give or take a few dollars. I have requested in writing and via phone a payment history of my account detailing how each payment was applied. 1st request XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX ( requested payment history and 3rd request to have any extra monies applied to principal. 2nd request XX/XX/XXXX Yamaha Finance that I was not able to make a payment after several attempt to reach them via phone. 3rd XX/XX/XXXX Requested payment history 4th XX/XX/XXXX Requested payment history and to speak with management was promised a follow up call which I never received. 5th XXXX XXXX Requested payment history was advised by floor supervisor that I was requesting the wrong document. I was advised by XXXX Operator XXXX that I should have been requesting a amortization schedule. I replied Why would I request a amortization schedule if I am trying to see how my payments have been applied not a schedule of how they would have been applied based on a certain date and amount. I requested to speak with management XXXX advised me that it take Business days for someone to call me back as of XX/XX/XXXX I have not received a call back. I have also emailed customer service regarding this issue. I have only received a document showing my payments but now how the payments was applied. Please see documents which shows

On XX/XX/2018 XXXX XXXX contacted my husband about an ATV loan. In the beginning of the call the 1st representative asked personal questions but refused to tell him the nature of the call. She wanted specific detailed info about our son who cosigned the loan. After getting frustrated with the woman my husband gave the phone to me. She finally said who she was calling for an why. She said the amount due given to them from Yamaha was over {$9000.00}. I explained that that couldnt be correct because we put a significant down payment on the atv and financed around {$10000.00}. They were showing only a few payments made when in fact we have paid over {$3500.00} this year to a different collection agency. They accused me of lying because I couldnt provide the exact details over the phone. She then put her supervisor on the phone and his name was XXXX. He explained to me that this was the correct amount and nothing I said to him made him willing to open a dispute. He refused to send us any documents they have showing the balance and payments and wanted me to provide proof right then and there that we had paid more on the account. He also threatened us with legal action if we didnt pay {$5000.00} today. We arent in a position to do that and offered to pay {$200.00} over the next few months until XXXX when we could pay the loan off. He refused to entertain that notion and instructed me that I could not call the orig ial creditor for this account anymore. He was verbally abusive and threatening and tried collecting an incorrect amount under duress. We have bank statements showing what we have paid and the account should be around {$6500.00}. They have called my sons hundreds of times and threatened him to be arrested if he didnt pay and they have called my husbands phone 100s of times while he is at work. No amount of telling them to stop will work and when you do they threaten you with arrest or legal action.

I purchased a brand new XXXX Yamaha Wolverine R spec ( utv ) from my local yamaha dealer for roughly 15000 dollars on a loan when they first came out. I purchased an extended 4 year warranty through yamaha for full drive train coverage etc. after owning this machine for not even a year and only having 1200 miles on it the motor went on a cold start one day. The dealer replaced everything from the crank up in the motor without figuring out why it went. This roughly cost 3500 dollars in parts and labor for yamaha i would assume. The dealer ran it around the building numerous times etc and i got it back in reasonable time. With all brand new parts the motor came apart again not even 150 miles later.. The dealer has pulled apart engine and wants to replace oil pump along with all new parts again but yamaha is refusing to cover the machine with over 2 years of warranty left. its clear that the machine has a lubrication issue within the motor yet are claiming this is all my fault. They went as far as offering me one part as good will and than sent me a cheesy sticker package in the mail. I still owe an outrageous amount of money on something i ca n't use. I had to cancel hunting trips etc and am still making all payments. The dealer has made numerous calls to Yamaha motors corporation only to have my claim denied time and time again. I have spent lots of my time on the phone and can not get any answers from the company. a person name XXXX with customer service has denied my claims and wo n't give me a direct answer about covering the machine. I feel that i am being treated very poorly and was sold a lemon that I 'm now stuck with. I 've owned numerous machines through this company and have never had an issue. I 've found other people with similar issues online from some of the first wolverines that were purchased, not sure on the outcome for them.

I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX series boat on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I spoke with customer service ( XXXX XXXX EST ) and was ensured that the amount over the required payment would be put against the principle. It was not. In XX/XX/XXXX I received a statement that showed my required payment as {$760.00} ( double the required amount ). I again called Yamaha and made the following memo for record : I have never received an e-mail response from that review. I have had 1 response, and they just again quoted according to the waterfall Attached/included, please find : 1. The signed loan agreement 2. E-mails

Sirs : Please refer to my prior complaint # XXXX dated XX/XX/XXXX, also against Yamaha Finance . Yamaha continues to stonewall my complaint, and has not provided CFPB with any response. Please be reminded that the only possible legitimate late payment occurred on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, when they processed my regular monthly payment. Because Yamaha does not work over the weekend, they did not process my payment when my banks envelope actually arrived at their Texas XXXX XXXX XXXX I was charged {$39.00} late fee. I disputed the payment in a business letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, to which they never responded. Yamaha Finance then began to compound the late fee by alleging that I did not make a full payment by the due date. Thus, to mitigate the dispute, on XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed Yamaha Finance a separate check in the amount of {$39.00}, which was negotiated per my bank on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX verification that they negotiated my check is an attachment to this complaint. My check contained the following endorsement on the front : Full and final settlement of all claims for late fees and associated penalties. Additionally, on the reverse, I wrote, Negotiation of this check is full settlement of the items on the front. Yamaha Finance accepted my conditions when they processed my check. There is ample case law on this point. Despite this fact, however, I just received a Payment Reminder Notice from them that states I have a past due amount of {$120.00}, copy attached to this complaint. Also, I receive almost daily harassing telephone calls from Yamahas bill collectors, who refuse to listen to reason. Note that I had adjusted the date my bank mails their check to Yamaha, so all payments after XXXX have been received on time. Respectfully submitted, XXXX XXXX XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX Yamaha Motor Finance Company notified me that I was past due on a bill. This was likely due to me changing addresses and not receiving the bill. I spoke to the company 's representative on the phone and resolved the payment. However, due to Yamaha 's Motor Finance Company 's computer system they used an incorrect routing number to process the payment, which resulted in what they call a NSF or " Not Sufficient Funds '' and although this would typically mean there was not enough funds present in the account I was told by their representative on XX/XX/2021 that this is not the terms meaning, and that they " use this term for anytime a payment does not go through '' or something to that effect. This is obviously an absurd notion, that they would change the meaning of a phrase. I have provided the correct routing number in the past, and they have used it to charge me in the past, as noted by the representative on XX/XX/2021. However, Yamaha Motor Finance Company has continued the practice of using the wrong routing number and then charging a fee when the payment does not go through due to their own negligence. I believe this is a scheme to continue to charge me additional fees that are not owed and are the fault of Yamaha Motor Finance Company. This is simply put, a predatory attempt to gain an additional approximately {$70.00} each month. They have so far refused any responsibility, and will not even state that they have captured the routing number correctly for future use. I want the fee returned to me, and any possible fines or other actions taken against Yamaha Motor Finance who continues their criminal behavior of charging fees that are their own fault.

Back in XXXX of 2020 I contacted Yamaha Motor Finance Corp USA to inquire if they could extend me any payment deferrals on my account due to the COVID-19 impact on my employment. The customer Service Rep. verbally granted me a 60 day extension. A few months later I discovered that Yamaha had been reporting me late to all 3 credit Bureaus. At that point I contacted Yamaha again asking what was going on. They replied that the customer service rep failed to inform me that I needed to sign and submit a Disaster Relief Modification Agreement, which by the way I never received in the mail, for the 60 day extension to be valid. They said if I signed one at that time they would be able to apply it towards the missed payments and remove the late status from the credit Bureaus. I signed and forwarded the form to them and after that I have spoken to several Yamaha Customer Service Managers which are extremely difficult to get in touch with as they refuse to provide a direct phone Line, email address or direct contact to the credit department. Bottom line I have exhausted all efforts to get them to correct their mistake that impacts my credit score and even though I continue to pay my Bill every month they keep moving that modification forward instead of applying it back to XX/XX/2020. Beware of that company. It is also interesting that they have a Loan Servicing company that apparently are the only people the consumer can talk too and when it comes to the Credit Bureaus all three of them have a completely different address for Yamaha Motor Finance for contact and when you try them they send you back to the Servicer company so the run around never ends.

In XXXX I purchased a 4 wheeler from that was financed with XXXX XXXX. In XXXX we were told of an extra charge on the account ( balloon payment ) which was not reflected on the contract I signed. Verbally with XXXX XXXX I challenged this, sent them a copy of my contract and disputed the additional fee. I was directed not to make a payment until this was settled. After arguing this with XXXX XXXX, I was essentially told that I would be held to the balloon payment and I needed to pay the account in full. on XX/XX/XXXX I made the final payment, against my belief that it was a fraudulent charge of {$2200.00}. In XXXX I went to apply for a mortgage and noticed that XXXX XXXX had " charged off '' this account. I disputed it and they changed it to " paid in settlement {$2200.00} written off ''. I disputed this again as it is incorrect. They changed the status to " legally paid in full for less than the full balance ''. I disputed this again because Not only does this balance not reflect in my signed contract, but I actually went ahead and PAID it. I disputed this again and they changed it once again to " paid in settlement {$2200.00} written off ''. This is incorrect so I disputed it 1 more time by calling XXXX directly and having a phone conversation. I just received the dispute results and it was not changed. It still reads " paid in settlement {$2200.00} written off ''. I was not contracted to pay a balloon payment and after battling a company to prove myself, they went silent and said I owe the balance of {$2200.00} in full. I paid them in full and it still reflects that I did not and has a negative impact on my credit score and life.

I was recently notified By Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation U.S.A that my account was closed when I called in to make a payment. On my statement it was stated that I had not made a payment in 120-180 days. I tried to resolve the issue with them personally on XX/XX/2019 but they said that they had already charged off my account and that there was nothing that could be done. I felt was unfair and shady because it was such a small amount to be charge off. The credit card that I had was a {$15000.00} limit, and there was probably {$2300.00} left to pay off under 15 % of the usage. I feel like they are approving consumers for really high limits yet are very quick to close out accounts for their own purposes. I feel like this should be investigated, because even after I was told my account was charged off I STILL tried to make {$300.00} payment on the account. I got a confirmation email saying that this payment would be taken out on XX/XX/2019. The money was never taken out of my account once again. I feel like this is something that has continuously happened to me and that why this has ended up as a charge off account. I call in to make my payments and it is not being taken out of my account during the time set up. I feel like this is final proof that when I make payments they are not doing a good job at following up. It is the XXXX and there has been no pending charge from them. I gave them the correct banking information when I last spoke. I just called in again and they said their " system '' was down. I do not want to be penalized when I actually have been making payments but they are not following through with taking it out.

Back in XXXX of 2020 I contacted Yamaha Motor Finance Corp USA to inquire if they could extend me any payment deferrals on my account due to the COVID-19 impact on my employment. The customer Service Rep. verbally granted me a XXXX day extension. A few months later I discovered that Yamaha had been reporting me late to all 3 credit Bureaus. At that point I contacted Yamaha again asking what was going on. They replied that the customer service rep failed to inform me that I needed to sign and submit a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, which by the way I never received in the mail, for the XXXX day extension to be valid. Bottom line I have exhausted all efforts to get them to correct their mistake that impacts my credit score and even though I continue to pay my Bill every month they keep moving that modification forward instead of applying it back to XX/XX/.

I got a loan from XXXX XXXX for XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX, I made payments with XX/XX/XXXX until XX/XX/XXXX, then the account was given to Yamaha financing on XX/XX/XXXX. These payments were being made with my checking account bill pay service, each week I made 2 payments of {$90.00} dollars, so for the months of XXXX and XXXX I made a total of 18 payments totaling {$1600.00}. Some how Yamaha financing only received 8 payments in XXXX and 2 in XXXX, I now have a balance of {$100.00} dollars left on the account which shouldve already been paid off in XXXX. Ive called them numerous times explaining Ive already paid them, Ive provided them with copies of my bank statements as per their request for XXXX and XXXX showing the dates of the payments transaction numbers and the amount that was paid. They refused on numerous occasions to contact my bank and confirm proof of payment, and keep insisting I must pay the {$100.00} dollars in order to get my title. Its been months and They still cant tell me where my money went too, I keep getting the run around, I spoke with supervisors XXXX and XXXX and got nowhere just lies about the matter being investigated, when asked if they confirmed the payments with the bank the question is avoided. At this point I want my money back from the loan with the interest paid and any fees and the {$800.00} that was over paid to them. They broke the contractual agreement I signed, I paid for a product that they refused to turn over ownership, I just want my money back they can pick up the motorcycle, its been 4 months of lies and deception.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I paid-off my loan ( XXXX ) on my XXXX XXXX XXXX boat ; the balance was XXXX, which was debited from my Credit Union checking account on XX/XX/XXXX. The loan was through Yamaha Motor Finance Corporations, U.S.A ( aka XXXX XXXX XXXX ). I contacted their customer service and was told I would receive an email releasing the loan by XX/XX/XXXX. Based on their representation of timeliness, I arranged to sell my boat for XXXX}. When I later inquired as to when I could expect the loan-release email, I was essentially told that the customer service rep was wrong, and that I should expect 15 business days. I contacted customer service several more times and was told about the same. Finally escalated my call to a floor supervisor ( XXXX ) who was unhelpful, other that to say their process requires a computer generated letter. XXXX referred me to their title department ( XXXX ) who also was either unable or unwilling to assist, saying he could be fired if he didn't follow their procedure. Note that it was acknowledged by Yamaha that my loan was indeed paid-off and my account closed. The only reason given for not issuing a loan pay-off and releasing my title was a vague reference to problems that had in the past with fraudsters who tried to cancel the pay-off, so the essentially lumped me in with felonious criminals! I understand that this is a well-known problem with Yamaha, so how related to a recent transition of their financing from XXXX XXXX to themselves. Needless to say, their delay has made me unable to close the sale of my boat.

This complaint is against Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation USA, XXXX ID XXXX. This company is simply fraudulent. Their 1 star rating and lack of accreditation on the XXXX website is a testament to that. This is the third time they have randomly tried to assess fraudulent fees for no reason. We have been set up on auto-pay for 8 years, and the amount due is always processed on the due date. In this instance, I have a statement for {$340.00} due on XX/XX/XXXX, and I have a digital copy of the bank payment of {$340.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. Yet, I received an email today, XXXX, stating my payment was overdue. I called and the fraud began immediately. The representative first told me we only paid {$300.00}, but owed {$340.00}. When I told him I'm looking at the digital receipt of my payment for {$340.00} as well as my statement showing the exact same amount due, he immediately changed his story, and said, " Oh, yes, you paid {$340.00}, but you owe {$380.00}. '' After requesting to speak to manager, I was put on hold 3 different times, and it was clear, they were willing to waste as much of my time as it took for me to give up. It's fraud, plan and simple. I've reached out to the XXXX previously, but this has become extremely burdensome, which is why we are taking this additional action at this time. My wife and I have worked diligently to build credit scores over XXXX, and I will not tolerate fraudulent attempts to undermine that. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Purchased a motorcycle at XXXX XXXX XXXX, for internal commute purposes, and had it financed with Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation as this was set up by the team at XXXX XXXX. After a few months reviewing my credit score, and various calls and claims to the credit agencies I found out that the vehicle loan I obtained from XXXX XXXX XXXX via Yamaha Motor Finance is in the form of a credit card, not a vehicle loan. It is incredible and outright fraudulent to not warn, disclaim and thoroughly explain a client and costumer on the terms of a loan agreement, I would not have purchased the vehicle knowing these terms and conditions. To say the least, negligent on behalf on XXXX and Yamaha, but more to an action not to be considerer as good faith in business, and truly deceitful and misleading. On a call with Yamaha Motor Finance Corporation, the person that responded my call and questions was very rude, and intended to disregard the situation, and further try to convince me that the motorcycle i purchased was not a vehicle. I can not comprehend the audacity of this person to say such, as this vehicle is registered in the Florida XXXX and carries a license plate, and is my sole vehicle in Florida. Right now, instead of a newly agreed vehicle or even personal loan, that just started to amortize, credit agencies treat such as a maxed-out credit card. This has impacted my credit score for the past few months, and I was in plans to purchase property early next year.

I received a call from Yamaha Motor Finance on XX/XX/XXXXand spoke to XXXX. She informed me that my account was 50+ days past due for {$51.00}. I questioned the amount because I always pay more than our monthly payment. She stated that they took my late fees of {$51.00} out of my last installment payment made and now my payment is past due. Is this legal?? I have read my contract thoroughly and can not find such justification. I asked for a supervisor and talked to XXXX. He sounded like a broken recorder so I asked for his XXXX, XXXX XXXX ( not sure if spelled correctly ). I was told that since the mgr is not in the office they can not transfer me to his voicemail?? I was also refused the managers email address. I have since tried to reach this billing XXXX on XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. I even sent a certified letter on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX to which no one has responded. On XXXX/XXXX/XXXX I paid the {$51.00} PLUS a monthly payment. I received a call today XXXX from them and talked with a supervisor named XXXX because I was told that now my account does n't qualify for the extension ( I 'm only 10 days past due now ) but XXXX offered this to me at 50+ days past due XXXX XXXX said that must be a training issue ). I have been out of work since XXXX and I 'm trying very hard to keep the account out of collections. I would like their payment tactics looked into because it seems unethical and illegal in so many ways.

As Yamaha Motor Finance mentioned in In CFPB Complaint ID XXXX CFPB Complaint ID XXXX. Yamaha Motor Finance stated the account is 599 days past due with a balance of {$13000.00}. This is in fact a violation of 12 CFR 1026.13 ( 2 ) - Billing error resolution. The creditor or its agent shall not ( directly or indirectly ) make or threaten to make an adverse report to any person about the consumer 's credit standing, or report that an amount or account is delinquent, because the consumer failed to pay the disputed amount or related finance or other charges. As it evident, Yamaha Motor Finance is currently furnishing such amount of {$13000.00} past due is a violation of Federal Law. Reporting delinquencys, collections/charge offs is NOT a requirement as Yamaha Motor Finance consistently mentioning is required to report accurate and complete intormation to the credit bureaus under what lawful authority is stated to furnish charge off and collections? Because I just pursuant Yamaha to the law where it clearly says you should not furnish such. The only way I see to resolve this issue is to take Yamaha Motor Finance to Federal Court. I refuse to go back and forth and these agents ignorant of the law, and violating my rights, and insulting my intelligence is going to cause the CEO and CFO to be prosecuted all because of their agents is ignorant of the law and consistently fails to comply.

This is regarding a boat loan with Yamaha Finance. On Thursday XX/XX/XXXX I logged into the website to link my credit union account so I could pay off the loan. In order to link the account you must make a payment, so I paid XXXX just to make sure it linked to the account properly. The transfer completed on Friday XX/XX/XXXX so on Saturday XX/XX/XXXX I contacted Yamaha Finance for the payoff so I could pay the loan off. They provided the amount but when I went to make the payment the system would not allow me to continue. The Yamaha finance employee stated that because I had made a payment on Thursday ( clearing Friday ) I was not able to make another payment for at least XXXX business days. I would need to call back and get a new payoff as the finance charges would continue to accrue. I stated I did not understand, it would certainly make sense that it wouldnt process until Monday since it was a weekend but they were telling me I couldnt make the payment Monday that because it cleared Friday I would actually have to wait until Wednesday. I asked for a supervisor and I was told they were sorry but there was nothing they could do, I would just have to call back Wednesday and pay the additional interest. I have gone over all disclosures from my original loan as well as all disclosures on the website and I can not find anywhere stating that you can only make XXXX payment every 3 days.

I am writing to you to dispute some errors I have found on my credit report. I have reviewed my report in detail and have identified several inaccuracies that I would like to clarify. First my current address on the report lists an old address that I no longer use. I have also noticed that there are certain errors, considerably affecting my credit report in a negative way. This account is already closed, but I am reporting late payments, which there is an inaccuracy of the dates, so I kindly ask that it be deleted from my history. This report only reflects me in XXXX and does not report me in any other account, so there is another error since there is an inaccuracy. This account was closed and paid in full, and at this time I am reporting negatively, the account appears as in collection or declared lost and the account has already been paid in full, there are no pending payments. For this reason, I kindly ask that this account be removed from my history which is found paid and closed. And it's only affecting me. I attach to this letter copies of documents supporting my claim that show that the data on my credit report is inaccurate. I ask that you conduct a full review of my credit report and take the necessary steps to correct the errors identified. I appreciate your attention and I look forward to your response as soon as possible. Kind regards

I have experienced several ongoing problems with my Yamaha Motor Finance loan : - The company makes it extremely difficult to make payments above the minimum monthly payment amount in an effort to pay off the loan early. Payments above the minimum are applied to the next payments instead of principle - moving the payment due date far into the future instead. This is not clear anywhere on the website. I later found the only way to make such a payment is to pay by phone through a very lengthy process. Even then I am not able to actually make a payment purely toward principle- it will first apply part of the payment toward the next payment due first. In my case for example, my next payment due isn't for many months due to the problems noted above. This only compounds the problem noted above and keeps shifting the due date into the future and making it impossible to make a payment toward principle. - Amortization tables are not available and it is entirely unclear how interest is being accrued. For example, by paying down the principle earlier than the minimum payment schedule it is not clear if the interest being paid is being adjusted accordingly. - The loan information including loan balance on the website does not match up with the statements and payments made are not accurately reflected. It is entirely unclear if and how payments are being applied

I purchased a motorcycle and financed it through Yamaha Financial. During the loan period XXXX of XXXX I had requested a registration packet to title the motorcycle in local state. I waited a month with no answer and called again. Waited another couple of months still nothing. I asked my local DMV to request the paperwork needed via email to send it back by fax. Still haven't received paperwork by XX/XX/XXXX. Reached out by email to their administration department with my concern asking for the registration packet. Finally XX/XX/XXXX I paid the motorcycle off hoping the title would come quickly and it would be over. No, found out on XXXX XXXX, XXXX I needed to do their job for them and send my lien release form to previous to release my title. Weeks later I was contacted by previous states local treasury department that they do not participate with the California Seal Certificate. Previous state representative and I have contacted Yamaha asking for the proper paperwork after numerous phone calls and emails. They said they would send out the correct form with the proper information needed. I received a copy today XX/XX/XXXX of the wrong form again. I have spoke with several supervisors in customer service and the titling department and they can't resolve this matter. After almost a year paid off I would like my title, please.

I have an account with Yamaha for two jet skis that I purchased. My XXXX payment was due on XX/XX/2020 and I made the payment over a week early on my banks bill pay. I started getting text and email messages that my payment was due in a few days so I called Yamaha and they said they had not received it. I called my bank, XXXX XXXX XXXX, and verified that they transferred the funds to Yamaha on XX/XX/2020. They called Yamaha and spoke with them while I was on the line, and provided them with confirmation that Yamaha received the payment. this was on XX/XX/2020. XXXX XXXX XXXX provided them with all of the information they requested and they said they would follow up with me within 24 hours. I have gotten three collection calls since then, and each time I explained that the payment was made and they were supposed to be investigating where it went. Every time, the person on the phone assures me he is going to escalate this issue to a supervisor and it will be resolved. It has been almost three weeks since the payment was received and two weeks since I was promised that I would have a resolution within 24 hours. Today I received both an email and a text message that my payment is past due and I have to make it immediately. If this is not resolved this is going to affect my credit and cause me damages.

I have had a problem with Yamaha Motor / Yamaha Financial Services before. I'm not the first person to have problems with Yamaha. I went to get a loan and THEY HAVE REPORTED XXXX PAYMENTS AS XXXX DAYS LATE, XXXX PAYMENT AS XXXX DAYS LATE AND XXXX PAYMENT AS XXXX DAYS LATE for the year XXXX. THIS HAS ADVERSELY AFFECTED/EFFECTED MY ABILITY TO OBTAIN CREDIT AND/OR CAUSED ME TO HAVE A HIGHER INTEREST RATE. I requested a payment history from Yamaha of which I received through email. XXXX THROUGH XXXX SHOWS EACH PAYMENT WAS POSTED ON THE CORRECT MONTH, DAYS BEFORE THE PAYMENT IS DUE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF XXXX XXXX PAYMENT WHICH WAS POSTED ON THE DAY/DATE THE PAYMENT IS DUE. THAT IS XXXX MONTHS OUT OF XXXX MONTHS THAT YAMAHA HAS FALSELY REPORTED MY PAYMENT INFORMATION TO THE CREDIT BUREAU 'S. I have, not only the email from Yamaha, I have my bank statements showing where the payments clear my financial institution. I'm asking for Yamaha to correct their wrong behavior by inaccurately reporting false info to the credit bureau 's. And to APOLOGIZE TO ME FOR FALSELY REPORTING MY PAYMENTS AND TARNISHING MY CREDIT. They are continuing to give themselves a bad reputation. I may have something else to add to this complaint in the future. DATES : XXXX through XX/XX/2021. AMOUNTS : {$240.00} EACH MONTH.

I PURCHASED A NEW 2020 YAMAHA BOAT AND FINANCED IT THROUGH YAHAHA FINANCIAL SERVICES. I ORIGINATED THE LOAN AT THE END OF XXXX AND MY FIRST PAYMENT WAS DUE ON XX/XX/2020, WHICH I MADE ON TIME. SINCE THEN I HAVE BEEN PAYING OVER THE REQUIRED AMOUNT DUE IN ORDER TO REDUCE MY PRINCIPLE BALANCE, OR SO I THOUGHT. THE COMPANY APPARENTLY IS NOT APPLYING OVERAGE OF PAYMENT TO MY PRINCIPLE BALANCE BUT EXTENDING MY PAYMENT DUE DATE OUT. I BORROWED XXXX AND AFTER REVIEWING MY STATEMENTS AND CALLING THEM SEVERAL TIMES TO CORRECT THE SITUATION. IN FACT MAKING A REQUEST TO HAVE ALL MY OVER PAYMENTS APPLIED TO MY PRINCIPLE, THEY HAVE STILL NOT GRANTED MY REQUEST. I HAVE PAID YAMAHA FINANCIAL ALMOST {$6000.00} IN PAYMENTS AND YET MY BILLING STATEMENTS DO NOT REFLECT THAT DIFFERENCE ON MY PRINCIPLE BALANCE. THEY ARE APPARENTLY JUST MOVING MY DUE DATE OUT. THE LAST STATEMENT I RECEIVED IN FACT SHOWS THEM APPLYING ALL OF MY PAYMENT TO INTERREST? I HAVE ATTACHED THOSE STATEMENTS FOR YOUR REVIEW. I ALSO WANT TO ADD THAT FROM THE TIME I STARTED OVERPAYING MY STATEMENTS JUST STOPPED COMING UNTIL THE RECENT ONE IN XXXX. BOTH LAST AND LATEST ARE ATTACHED. YOU CAN CLEARLY SEE MY PRINCIPLE BALANCE HAS NOT BEEN REDUCED BY MUCH, ABOUT XXXX DOLLARS. WITH ALL THAT I HAVE PAID THEM, THIS CAN NOT BE POSSIBLE.

I paid my loan ( credit card ) off with Yamaha Financing in XXXX. I contacted them on XX/XX/XXXX to inquire about my refund for an over payment. They stated there was no issue and it would be on the way. XX/XX/XXXX I called back because I still have not received my funds. They stated that the person on the XXXX never started anything toward my refund. So the XXXX XXXX started it the process. Told me it would be XXXX weeks. On XX/XX/XXXX I called and spoke to manager XXXX and told him it had been 6 weeks and I still had not received my refund. He was going to expedite my complaint to the correct department. On XX/XX/XXXX my statement shows the funds were cleared. I called on XX/XX/XXXX because the check had still not arrived. XXXX told me I had to wait the full 30 days which was XX/XX/XXXX. I waited till today XXXX and called and spoke to manager XXXX. He states he can see where the account cleared, but can not see a check number, and will have to submit a request for a manager to call me with XXXX hours. This is extremely unacceptable. They charge me interest on money they loan me, but they hold my money way longer than necessary for a refund and dont give me any interest. They have a severe lack of communication in their association and I feel like Im just being dismissed.

I went into contract with YAMAHA MOTOR FINANCE on XXXX, with finance amount of {$3100.00}. for 60 months which would be duration date of XXXX. It wasn't until of the global pandemic that I started to have issues with payments from the months of XXXX and they came to repossess in XXXX which I was under the impression that due to COVID19, the company was allowing you to catch up. However, my unit was repossessed in XXXX, in order to get my unit back, I had to bring the account current plus repo fees which was paid on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$1000.00}. That amount brought my account current and the remainder of the loan was still due, I never took a settlement nor did I pay less than the full amount owed on this account. I have called Yamaha Finance several times and submitted several disputes and they are reporting this as " settled for less '' which is not accurate. I never once agreed to settle, this account should be reported as paid in full or be deleted from XXXX, XXXX, XXXX credit reports immediately. I have asked them to provide written statement/proof that I did not pay this full amount or settlement and they have not as of date. I have also requested full payment history that shows I paid a total of {$4.00} and I have paid this off before contract duration date.

They are reporting my account to credit bureau as past due 30-90 days. I have spoke to numerous supervisors and employees at Yamaha they refuse to correct my account. I have filed complaint with credit bureaus as well. I have requested corporate phone number via emails and they refuse to provide any further information so that I can resolve this. I have also had issues with Yamaha sending me a monthly statement they stated on recorded phone calls that they aren't required by law to send me a monthly statement.

I am very financially aware person and don't apply for credit cards anywhere besides my bank, and why would i need a Yamaha credit card. Me and my husband went to buy this motorcycle and not a single time we applied for any credit card or they even mentioned anything that we'll be getting any credit card too. I believe dealership gets paid for getting credit cards and they are doing to people without even their knowledge. My credit has gone down some points because of this and it will go down even further when i will close my account now. Never have i received any credit card without applying ever in my life. i didn't even buy Yamaha motorcycle, this is pure fraud done by dealership and Yamaha Financial services. We are financially well off and are not one of the customers that will be ok with getting new credit card and start using it. Please help me with this.

I, the consumer and original creditor in fact, are aware of your fraudulent and discriminatory practices while operating as a creditor 15 USC 1602 ( g ). I, the applicant, initiated a Consumer Credit Transaction using my Credit Card 15 USC 1601 ( 1 ) and furthermore, not only did a transaction occur warranting unauthorized use as per 15 USC 1602 ( p ), but the consumer which is myself never benefited. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX you are reporting my account as Charged Off to all the Credit Reporting Agencies. I am deeply disturbed by this company 's actions. I just want to be clear, as a consumer, I am federally protected under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act Title 15 Chapter 41. and it's saddening to know you takes pride in violating basic consumer rights. As a result of your actions, a tremendous amount of suffering has occurred ranging from my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX causing confusion, anxiety and sleepless nights with lots of XXXX and XXXX dysfunction. Plus no one should ever have to experience what I have when it comes to anything that belongs to them and rightfully. This is extortion in fact as per 18 USC 894 ( 1 ) and regrettably so. I am demanding a validation of debt and a copy of my 1099c from the IRS.

I have a loan with Yamaha XXXX. XXXX carries the loan.. My payment is due on the XXXX of every month. I made my payment that is due on XX/XX/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. In fact, I have a confirmation letter from Yamaha stating that I made a payment. I received a letter dated XX/XX/XXXX from Yamaha Financial Services stating that I am past due on my payment. When I call the original number of XXXX XXXX XXXX I'm told by recording that the loan has been transferred to Yamaha Financial Services. I've called the number ( XXXX many times this week. I've been on hold for 2 hours at a time and no one ever picks up. I called this morning right at XXXX XXXX ( when they opened ) and the recording said the wait time is 2 minutes. 1 hour later and still on hold so I hang up. I called last night and the recording said the wait time of 10 minutes and I was on hold for 2 hours and still no answer. This has happened many times this week. An hour here, an hour there : still waiting on hold trying to have this issue resolved. I do have a confirmation that the payment was made but I can't resolve something when no one at Yamaha Financial is there to man the call. This is very frustrating to say the least.

This loan was for the purchase of a boat. Start date XXXX XXXX with Yamaha Installment Financing, XXXX XXXX. Beginning XX/XX/2020 Yamaha Motor Finance Corp. U.S.A. took over these loans and they are no longer serviced through XXXX XXXX . The XXXX statement was sent by XXXX XXXX. Our payment was made to XXXX XXXX, XX/XX/2020 with a due date of XX/XX/2020. We received a letter from Yamaha Motor Finance Corp after the payment was made, instructing us to update payment information after XX/XX/2020. The account number was off by one digit. I have been trying to call them since Saturday XX/XX/2020 and can not get thru. The recording says 1 hour wait time due to heavy call volumn. I have made several attempts to reach them. They sent two more letters, one correcting the account number and the other that we are past due on our payment, will be charged a late fee and a negative credit report may be submitted to a credit reporting agency. XXXX XXXX now has a recording that these loans are no longer serviced through them and to call Yamaha Finance at XXXX. Then the call disconnects. Everyday I try to call and several times a day and can not get thru. a/c XXXX

I already filed a claim with XXXX and XXXX as my credit report is incorrect. They responded that after contacting the provider their information is correct. The problem is in an account that I had with XXXX XXXX XXXX. This account was never late and it was paid before the term. Final payment was made on XX/XX/XXXX and since then the balance is {$0.00}. XXXX closed the account ( as it was fully paid ) on XX/XX/XXXX. The Paid Status in the Credit Reports show : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Even though the above information, they are informing and insisting to the credit bureaus that I was delayed 30 days on XX/XX/XXXX, 60 days on XX/XX/XXXX, 90 days on XX/XX/XXXX and 120 days on XX/XX/XXXX, when according to XXXX XXXX itself the account was fully paid on XX/XX/XXXX and closed on the same month. How the XXXX I can be late on XXXX, XXXX, XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX when they know that the account was fully paid on XX/XX/XXXX? It is a shame and a lack of respect that they continue insisting with the Credit Bureaus that I was late when they perfectly know that I was not! Certainly they are affecting my XXXX XXXX that was always impeccable.

I HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH YAMAHA FINANCIAL SERVICES/YAMAHA MOTOR FINANCE. I HAVE PAID WAY ABOVE THE MIN REQUIRED PAYMENT SINCE I TOOK THE LOAN OUT FOR MY NEW 2020 YAMAHA BOAT. WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY ADVISED ME THAT MY INTEREST PAYMENT IS IN ARREARS. THIS CAN NOT BE POSSIBLE. I HAVE REQUESTED AN AMORTIZATION SCHEDULE FOR MY LOAN AND A STATEMENT OF ALL PAYMENTS MADE WITH A BREAKDOWN OF HOW EACH PAYMENT WAS APPLIED AND THEY REFUESED MY REQUEST. I AM NOT SURE WHAT ACCOUNTING SYSTEM THEY ARE USING BUT SOMETHING IS WRONG HERE. THERE IS NO WAY I AM BEHIND ON INTEREST PAYMENTS FOR THIS ACCOUNT. THIS IS MY SECOND REQUEST TO INVESTIGATE HOW YAMAHA IS HANDLING MY ACCOUNT. SOMETHING IS NOT CORRECT HERE. THIS LOAN IS A 15 YEAR LOAN, NOT A CREDIT CARD. EACH PAYMENT SHOULD CONTAIN PRINCIPLE AND INTEREST PAYMENTS. I HAVE MADE PAYMENTS OVER THE AMOUNT REQUIRED TO PAY TO KEEP THIS ACCOUNT CURRENT. THERE IS NO WAY I AM IN ARREARS IN INTEREST. CAN SOMEONE PLEASE INVISTATE THIS COMPANY. I NEED AN AMORITIZATION SCHEDULE AND A COPY OF MY COMPLETE PAYMENT HISTORY. PAYMENT HISTORY ATTACHED.

Yamaha Motor Finance is my servicing finance corporation for a vehicle loan. The dollar amount is approximately {$150.00} and there is reporting to crediting agencies that was inaccurate and based on failures of Yamaha Motor Finance staff, processes, and XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/2020 I was contacted by Yamaha Motor Finance and was notified that my payment had not been made and that it was due on XX/XX/2020. I provided accurate information to the technician and made a payment over the phone. On XX/XX/2020 I was contacted and told that the payment failed due to insufficient funds, that there were now additional fines, and that this had been reported to the credit rating agencies. I was shocked. I had already made good faith attempts to make payments and due to Yamaha Motor Finances ineptitudes, I am now being punished in long term ways. I believe Yamaha Motor Finance is purposefully negligent in its processes, procedures, operation, and XXXX XXXX systems to ensure collection of fees from the consumers they prey upon.

My wife and I recently purchased a 2019 XXXX XXXX from a local dealer. We filled out the load application and submitted the paperwork to XXXX XXXX out of XXXX, NE, only to find out we weren't eligible for the sales promotion rate of 4.99 %. They said the best they could do was 21 % which we immediately said 'No ' and told them we'll just go buy a different manufacturers product. Within 15 minutes they came back with a rate of 7.99 %. After about 2 hours of going back and forth even trying to explain how to read a credit report we just signed for the 7.99 %. They claimed we had a lien filed against our property. We called our mortgage banker at the same time who told us that was the name of the initial loan company. Our mortgage banker told us to tell Yamaha that they need to learn how to read a credit report. Specifically when a loan says, 'satisfied '. My wife and I both have over 750+ credit score. I feel this was fraudulent activity on behalf of Yamaha. I don't think the promotion was real.

Recently Yamaha Financial XXXX bought customers boat loans serviced by XXXX XXXX. The transition couldn't be handled worse. First, letters with wrong account numbers were sent. Online login was not working. The customer helpline had a wait time of between 1-2 hours eventually the number was disconnected. New statements were sent stating double monthly payments ( the last payment made to XXXX XXXX is not included ), increased interest and a threat of late fees. Until this post the online account is still not working, online payment can not be made even though 2 hours were wasted on the phone to correct it with a service representative. The only payment options available to pay the wrong and excessive charges are by mail or the phone with the long wait time. Monthly payment increased from {$450.00} to {$510.00}. XXXX payment of {$450.00} made to XXXX XXXX before a notice was received is disregarded. The statement indicates a 2.99 % interest however the interest charged is 5.99 %.

I Purchased a motorcycle from Yamaha Motor Finance. The account information was put in my husband 's email and phone number so I could not access the account. My husband died on the motorcycle XX/XX/2023. The insurance company sent multiple checks to Yamaha Motor Finance to pay for the motorcycle as it was totaled. Yamaha motor finance lost the checks and waited months to apply them to my account. Upon inquiring with their customer service, they had no idea who sent the checks, and they weren't accounted for on my account. Multiple service representatives hung up on me during my time of grief when I tried to explain my case. I was led to believe no one was qualified to update the late payments to reflect as accurate information on my consumer report. Still to this day after multiple attempts the company refuses to hear my case or transfer me to someone who can help. Also, the company refuses to disclose names of supervisors they are correlating with while as I'm on the phone.

Yamaha Financial took back accounts for loans that were being serviced by XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2020. I made two separate payments, one posted on XXXX XXXX with a remit date of XX/XX/XXXX and the other posted on XXXX XXXX with a remit date of XX/XX/XXXX. They were both sent to XXXX. XXXX states that both payments were forwarded to Yamaha, yet Yamaha states they only received one payment for XXXX. I have spoken with Yamaha numerous times since then, beginning XX/XX/XXXX, and they have claimed they were looking into the missing payment. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, they stated that there is no record of a second payment made in XXXX, and that they can not reverse the {$79.00} in late charges that have accrued during the time that their " missing payment team '' has been attempting to locate the {$250.00} payment. Email proof was sent to them XX/XX/XXXX, and I was assured on XXXX. XXXX that all payments would be reflected in my account that were made during the transition period.

In XX/XX/XXXX we financed a golf cart through Yamaha Financial Services. Initially the financing was strictly in my name ( XXXX XXXX ) but the Company requested that my wife cosign the loan ( XXXX XXXX ). This transaction was handled through the issuance of a Yamaha Financial credit card. The first card ending in XXXX was issued and we made our initial payment of {$250.00} on that card. With the addition of my wife they reissued a new card ending in XXXX and all subsequent payments have been made on that card. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted the Company and asked that my payment of {$250.00} which showed as an outstanding credit balance on the XXXX card be returned to me. I followed up with calls on XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX and finally on XX/XX/XXXX. Each time I was told the matter had been referred to their accounting back office and I should expect a check within 30 days. As of this morning XX/XX/XXXX I am still not in receipt of my refund.

This reporting is in error. Yamaha never serviced this account but instead had a 3rd party processor who was never disclosed. Over the life of the loan, which has been paid off as of XX/XX/2020, I never received a single notice of past due or late payments via any means. After calling Yamaha when this was reported to my bureau they said the balance was in fact XXXX and showed no outstanding balance or delinquent balance. Further, they issued me a refund check in XXXX for an over-payment of {$15.00} on XX/XX/XXXX. How could I have a past due, outstanding balance when they issued the payoff value, never notified me of any payment issue and sent me a refund? The payoff was made, in full, back in XX/XX/2020. My bureau shows all payments in green status of paid since the servicing was changed in XX/XX/2020. This is an unfair credit reporting act and there is no data to substantiate a late pay or past due balance at any time.

In mid XX/XX/2020 I paid off my Yamaha boat loan with Yamaha Financial Services. The balance was roughly {$27000.00} and they said they would mail me the title. It has been over 60 days and they have not mailed me the title nor have they sent me a lien satisfaction letter so I can request a title from the DMV. I have called them over 12 times and each time they tell me they tell me they will mail me the title. I have spoken to many associates and XXXX is the manager involved. XXXX has always promised me a call back within 1-2 days and he has never called me back, not once, to update me on my title. Yamaha is fraudulently holding my title and refusing to give me the title. I was on hold for 2 hours, the next day for 1.5 hours. I recieved a number on a facebook page to call XXXX. I did reach a person who took my info down and stated a superviser would contact me within 24 hours. Now that number only rings and no one answers. I sent an email the same day and only received an autoresponce that someone would contact me soon. This is a huge issue and multiple people have been affected.

I have my boat loan with Yamaha Motor Financial company. They have terrible costumer service for one. And two, I have my account set up with auto-pay. My bank does a 5 day check payment, and only withdraws the money once the payment has processed with the payee. Yamaha is claiming they did not receive my payment until 2 days after the due date, and now charging a late fee. My bank statement shows that my payment posted with Yamaha on the due date. I submitted my proof with Yamaha and they are still refusing to reverse the late fee charges! I HAVE PROOF of payment on time!!!! Yamaha is TERRIBLE!!!! *I also make larger payment amounts, not just the minimum payments. Oh, and double payments. So, tell me why they won't reverse their mistake on an account that is an upstanding one??

I needed an increase in my credit line to make a new purchase. After speaking to the salesmen at the store they caked the creditor to request the increase. I got on the phone and answered security and income info and was instructed to give the phone back to the salesmen. A few minutes later oom told the increase was approved and i made the purchase. I got my current bill and it said i was overdrawn by almost XXXX dollars. When i called the company they asked me if it was a temporary or permanent increase. Considering i requested an increase in my line of credit it should've been permanent. They had no clue. And after being put on hold multiple times they say " it must've been temporary ''. Not one time during the request for the increase did Anyone day it would be temporary.

I have already called Yamaha XXXX about the motorcycle they also reported it to the credit reporting agencies that it has a charge off I asked them for my 1099-C form, because anything over {$600.00} as a charge off can receive the form and add it to their taxes because it is then assumed to be an income to said individual. I have yet to receive it as well as they have put it on my credit report and refuse to move it as a charge off I have asked them several times about this incident and they refuse to remove it from the credit agencies or send my 1099-C which is a violation of 15 USC 1681b ( a ) permisable purposes. XX/XX/2019 made a purchase of 2 motorcycles financed through yamaha motor financing. One is a 99 XXXX and the other a 2006 XXXX. Both ihave a title lien with the credit company. Today i went to discuss making another purchase and was told by the sales rep that it's illegal in NC to finance with Yamaha motor on anything older than 8 years. I honestly don't know if this was a sales tactic or if I've been bamboozled by the original dealership and Yamaha. Total financed on both motorcycles was initially around XXXX the interest is around 30 percent. I can not use this card for anything besides purchases at an authorized Yamaha dealer so no other purchases were made on this account. Im concerned about the legality.

I have contacted Yamaha Motor Finance too many times to count now! I have even wrote a letter via USPS and they have verified they received it, but still no response. Im really getting aggravated at not only their lack of customer service or knowledge, but Im now even more upset in regards to my credit dropping YET AGAIN when I just paid the $ 252 monthly bill ON TIME. My YAMAHA account says current, but in the last several days my score has dropped XXXX points because THEY are reporting me 30 days late/ delinquent.. this has to stop immediately. I have explained my situation repeatedly to these people and they still come to us to backtrack and do the complete opposite of what they say they will do..

Also my normal closing date for the loan is the XXXX of each month. Yamaha failed to honor that when they took over my account.

In addition, I've requested a pay off each day since XX/XX/XXXX and those have all been closed by the company. The company states they sent it via email almost two weeks later but I never received anything. Now that all of my requests have been closed, I have to restart the process. I make payments to Yamaha XXXX XXXX through my bank. In XXXX, my payment was sent the day before it was due. I was charged a late fee and wasnt aware that a late fee was appended. Consequently, they reported my account exceeded a 30 day payment which drove my credit score down. When asked, they told me I need to speak with their billing department to make these changes but refuse to give me contact info to engage.

Sending a collection letter for {$6000.00} more than was left at discharge, and adding four 120 day late payments to my credit report. This is illegal and highly criminal as the debt is not legally allowed to be collected in any way.

This account was transferred from XXXX/Yahama to Yamaha Motor Finance Corp but I have yet to receive a bill and how to pay.
