Hello, I am currently receiving requests for wage garnishment from a debt collector for an additional amount that they were not awarded by my local court system. They have been overpaid for the amount that was awarded and actually owe me over {$500.00}. I have contacted the company that the original debt was with and it has been satisfied. I have repeatedly requested receipts for my payments from the debt collector and have never received XXXX. I have paid everything through my debit account so I know how much I have paid. I have requested a copy of my account showing where I owe additional money and they have never produced any documents. When I asked what the additional charge was for I was told that it was for " legal fees '', which were not awarded in the lawsuit. I said no you were not awarded legal fees and so they changed their story to " cover the interest on the account ''. They were not awarded any interest either and it is very clear in the judgement. So they have been trying to receive payment for items that were not awarded and they can not produce any documentation showing where I owe any additional amount. When I have spoke with their phone personnel no XXXX can answer as to what the charges are for? They owe me a refund which I want, I can produce the documentation showing what I have over paid. I 'm tired and frustrated that I have had to deal with these people and they seem to feel they can do whatever they please. I never denied having a debt and had made arrangements to pay the debt before going to court, However, the collection company refused to accept payments from the debt consolidation company that I hired. Last year I filed a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding the amount I owed and they contacted the original lender and an adjustment/credit was made to the account. I thought that everything was straightened out, and for the most part it was. But now I have this lingering problem that I need guidance in handling.

I received letters from Wright Lerch & Litow ( Indiana ) in XXXX and XXXX stating that I owe a debt in the amount of {$3900.00}. I disputed the debt in XXXX and XXXX. XXXX XXXX, Wright Lerch & Litow filed suit in Indiana Small Claims Court. XXXX XXXX, there was a hearing I denied the debt. I asked for Discovery and found out that XXXX and XXXX ( Not Located in Indiana ) are actually suing me. AT NO TIME did Wright Lerch & Litow make it known that they are representing XXXX. One of the documents from Wright Lerch & Litow, states the client is XXXX XXXX XXXX and the Original Creditor is XXXX Bank. Another document from XXXX XXXX of XXXX Bank dated XXXX XXXX, XXXX states " findings were forward to Attorney XXXX XXXX XXXX. Never XXXX has any of XXXX Bank 's documents listed XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX as the attorney. I requested " terms and agreement, '' contract between Wright Lerch & Litow and XXXX Bank, contract between Wright Lerch & Litow and XXXX XXXX XXXX and between XXXX Bank and XXXX XXXX XXXX. I have not received any documents giving Wright Lerch & Litow or XXXX XXXX XXXX the legal right to sue me. There is no contract, terms and agreement, no credit card statements for XXXX, XXXX and XXXX they ca n't provide me with any proof of transactions XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Wright Lerch & Litow FAILED to name all necessary party and misrepresentation. I do not know who the real lawyer is and feel it is illegal practice.
