I have received no less than 20 calls from Forward Management Recovery, XXXX. The voice mail states that " XXXX '' is attempting to trace an individual who has a personal debt to resolve. I dialed the number and was connected to an individual who identified as XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX asked if I was ( my name ), and I confirmed that I was. She asked if the last 4 digits of my social were accurate, and I confirmed and asked what she was calling about. She said that the call was being recorded for training purposes, ONLY. There was no mention that the was an attempt to collect a debt. She said that she was calling in regards to a case of fraud being filed against me because in XX/XX/XXXX I took a loan out from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and owed a balance of {$120.00}. She said I made several payments on account ( the account number she provided ) but did not fulfill my contractual agreement. I denied taking a loan from this company as I have no recollection of this event, and asked if she could provide me written documentation. She confirmed my email address, which was accurate and my in-laws home address, which I made clear was NOT my address. She did n't ask for an accurate address to mail the materials which I found to be interesting since she was " tracing '' me. I asked if there was a phone number listed for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and she told me since its online there was no phone number. Interesting. She proceeded to tell me to contact XXXX at XXXX, and I was unsure what that had to do with anything, and I asked the affiliation to no avail. I told her I would wait for the paper work to be sent to me ( she did n't give me a date to expect ) and would contact these companies she provided. I asked if Forward Movement was BBB accredited and she told me no because it cost to be a member, but they respond to all claims. This issued even more red flags. I disconnected the call without her even asking me to pay the debt, and immediately checked my credit report. No where on ANY of my credit reports does this debt show, nor do I have a record in my email. I searched for XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and yielded no results, there are similar companies, but nothing with that business name. I think called XXXX at XXXX and was immediately asked for my full social, which I declined to provide. The woman was quite rude saying well why are you calling me then. I was in shock. I explained I received the information from XXXX XXXX at Forward Movement Recovery, and she said she has no clue who they are, and with my first/last name she does n't EVER show me having any sort of account with their company. I called Forward back and was directed to XXXX. I explained to XXXX that it was me calling back ( an hour later ), and asked what I owed. She immediately said {$120.00} without verifying my account or anything. I explained I do n't show this on my credit report, I called XXXX and they do n't have anything, and I cant find the other company. I let her know that I had n't got the email yet, and she said " well I told you we only have 1 admin and she will get it out first come first serve ''. I was breathless by this statement! I let her know I would be contacting the FTC, BBB, and OH AG, because I 'm being accused of fraud and not abiding by a legal contract. I asked for the address so I can send a formal request in writing for my number to be taken off the calling list. She said there is no call list and she advised I call the local police if I think its fraud. This seems predatory and there are multiple things wrong with the business practices. There have been SEVERAL calls placed to me AFTER XXXX EST, and I am being threatened with a lawsuit over {$120.00}.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a voicemail from " XXXX '' at the number XXXX . It was " regarding our location and tracing efforts for [ my name ] '' and " It is important that we speak with you in regards to their whereabouts. If we can not verify this information through you the law allows us to contact all references on file. If you are unable to provide any information please contact us regardless at XXXX ''. I called back and their greeting said " FMR '' I then spoke to " XXXX '' (? ) who had me confirm my name and last 4. They do have my full SSN and WA Driver 's Lic # which is frightening. He said I took out a {$370.00} payday loan through " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' ( never heard of them ) on XX/XX/XXXX with a bank account through XXXX XXXX XXXX as payback. I was in the middle of a bankruptcy at that time so could not have taken out any loans, and also I did not have a bank account with XXXX at that time. I also have never received anything in the mail about this supposed debt. I asked him to send me some documentation in the mail because the circumstances sounded suspicious. I have a right to receive debt validation under the FDCPA. He refused to agree to send me anything, got very abusive and would n't let me talk, and tried to bully me into paying right then and there. When I asked to speak with his manager, he refused and said he was putting me down as a refusal to pay. I tried to say if he would just send me documentation that the loan was legitimate then I could review it, but he basically said goodbye and hung up on me. I never once said that I was refusing to pay. I called back to try to get a different person and the same person answered and threatened to file harassment charges against me if I called back again, and hung up on me again. I did some research into this " FMR '' and they are based in XXXX , NY and their full name is " Forward Movement Recovery. '' They have many complaints and negative reviews on the BBB site, and many scam/fraud complaints on independent review sites as well. I missed the call while at work, an went on break to return the call. Upon speaking with the first agent, he verified my information ( i.e name, last known address, and last XXXX of social security ). After answering yes, he spoke authoritative to state that I had a previous debt from a company I never heard of. When I stated to him that prior to my move and job loss, I paid off all payday loans. He laughed and said " Ma'am do n't waste my time '' if you do n't pay your bills I just need you to say that, and that you are n't going to pay this XXXX. He stated that his name was XXXX. when I stated that he was rude and would n't let me address that the loan he 'd referred to was not the originator, and I wanted more information. He interrupted me stated I was a low life and then hung up. I waited about XXXX minutes and called back. I then spoke with XXXX at ext XXXX. He also ask to verify my identity to continue their credibility. I asked if he had anything in writing to prove the debt, he stated that his company could not forward such information. I asked if the accepted payments via mail, he stated they only accepted payment via phone. I asked if he had the originating account information, as I did n't know of the name by which he referred the debt. He said " XXXX XXXX '' was the parent lending company, and they are demanding the outstanding balance. He stated that once the {$500.00} was paid with either credit card ( with the exception of XXXX XXXX, debit card or pre-paid card, would be the only letter I 'd receive with regards to the debt. Although he was more polite, i do n't believe the company and the debt is credible. I have gotten other loans, and this company appears to not be legitimate to me.

In XXXX I entered into a payday loan with XXXX XXXX to help a family member. In XXXX the family member died and I tried to make a few payments on this loan and then it became impossible. In XX/XX/XXXX I learned of the fraudulent practices in use with XXXX XXXX and then it's subsequent shutting of it's doors. I then began receiving calls from another company called XXXX about the XXXX XXXX loan. I sent a letter to them explaining the situation and questioned the legality of the XXXX collecting etc. I received nothing in return. In XX/XX/XXXX Indiana 's Attorney General XXXX XXXX found in favor for the people who were taken advantage of by both XXXX XXXX and XXXX and the companies were made to forgive all loans issued in the same period of time as mine and repay XXXX XXXX dollars to Indiana residents who were taken advantage of. In the last 10-12 weeks I have been getting phone calls from a collection company stating it is from this XXXX XXXX loan. It is called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX out of XXXX XXXX NY XXXX XXXX, XXXX. They are saying I owe them XXXX and some change. They said that if I did not return calls they would notify my job, my references, etc. I called them to today and spoke to an XXXX XXXX. She became somewhat apprehensive when I began questioning her about her licensing, the facts from the Indiana Attorney General 's office, The XXXX etc. she was not mean or rude but frustrated I believe. I do not know where to turn. I am wondering if it is legitimate to start with considering all of the legal woes. I am in Indiana and not sure what I should do. Can you give me any advice? I have been receiving as many as ten calls a day from various XXXX area code numbers. I called back and was told the agency was collecting on behalf of XXXX XXXX. I told the agency that I had nevery heard of XXXX XXXX and I wanted to see a copy of the contract. The said they could not produce a copy of the contract. I asked the agency to stop calling me as is my right under FDPCA and they refused. I asked the name of the agency since that information wasn't provided in any of their voicemails and they reused to provide either the name or address of the agency. When the agency called me today I asked them to send me a letter since was my only method of finding out who they were. They sent the letter which has an address from at least six years ago. Again I don't knw who XXXX XXXX is. from : Forward Movement Recovery XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NY XXXX Payment Arrangement I would be happy to provide a copy of the letter. I happen to be in the collection industry and the agency 's failure to provide me with documentation is an FDPCA violation. Again, I do not know who XXXX XXXX is and this agency refused to provide any documentation. The agency has a six year old address and I have not received any written notices. The balance letter the agency sent me does not have any language that complies with the FDPCA rules. This is the sort of tactic that in my opinion the CFPB was created to stop. I have been receiving harrassing phone calls at work, home, and on my personal cell phone from a companyh FMR ( Forward Movement Recovery ). Every time they called it was a recording stating my name & they were looking for my whereabouts. AT the end of the recording it says to press 0 to speak to a representative. At that point you're placed on hold & then you are hung up on. Today I called the number back ans spoke to XXXX. AT first he was very friendly & stated that I took out a payday loan from a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX back in 2014 & I never repaid it. He knew my place of employment, my bank account iformation, and my home address. I asked that something be sent to me in writing and he said that he would once he verified my personal information. He stated that this company has attempted contact me via email and regular mail for years & I have not responded. This is FALSE. I have never taken out a pay day loan. When I told XXXX that this was a scam & that I would be reporting this he became very aggressive and rude. Telling me that I was threatening him & he was no longer willing to send me any documentation about this matter. He said that he has my voice recorded saying that I was refusing to pay & that I was reporting them. I just want this to stop. how ever they are are searching for XXXX XXXX they call all hours of day. They have been told several times there is no XXXX XXXX with my number. I have had the same number for over 10 years. Calls stopped for a short time but have becoming more frequent. When I did talk to someone ( XXXX ) told them my number is on the DO NOT CALL. This out and out a SCAM. These people should be arrested but the Government seems to do nothing. The Government should go after these people and make an example of them, fine them millions and send that money out to all the people they are harassing. Yet they continue cheating people, stealing and get away with it. So the Government is telling them what they are doing is okay. Apparently what ever the Government is doing to stop this kind of activity is so soft that if they did it with on number they just continue to change numbers and continue. Where is the justice in that? I will again file a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX but this has to stop either the Government has to do it or someone should. I originally submitted a complaint on XX/XX/XXXX in which I which never received a response from the complaint. The case # is XXXX and XXXX . On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted CFPB and I spoke to a representative about this issue and she indicated this case was sent to the Federal Trade Commission and I needed to contact them. I called them and they stated to call back to CFPB as they needed to handle this issue. I called CFPB again and they advise to send the complaint again as this was a misunderstanding.This is about a payday loan I took back in XX/XX/XXXX in which I pay cash and the company close down and now FMR-Forward Movement Recovery XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX New York XX/XX/XXXX phone XX/XX/XXXX is continuing calling me being rude and even indicating hey new about my son which I did not know what they meant. Also, they keep calling my sister in Florida as it was the contact person I put on the application when I apply for the loan. I and my sister are having issues because she wants those people to stop calling her.I am XX/XX/XXXX years old and I need your help to solve this problem. Unfortunately, the store I took the loan with was closed years ago and it was a pawn shop and I do n't remember the name. I do n't think the people who are calling me know the name either. About a year ago I had received a phone call from a company called FMR ( Forward Movement Recovery ) saying that I owed on a payday loan. When they had first contacted me they had said that they needed to know my location and whereabouts. When I contacted them they had said there had been a claim filed against me. I asked who was this so called payday loan company and their response was oh probably like a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had panicked and started to pay them so I would get sued. I ran my credit report to see what things I had in collections and when it came back I had nothing that was in collections from a payday loan company. I called my bank and had them cease any future transactions that were scheduled to run from FMR. Since that point on, I had not heard anything from FMR. Fast forward now to XX/XX/2018 and they are calling my phone again saying I owe them for a payday loan. I ran my credit report again and dont have anything in collections for a payday loan. This needs to stop ASAP before I file a lawsuit for harassment and extortion and I will take it to my state attorney general and the FBI.

On XX/XX/XXXX I was called by FMR or Forward Movement Company. They contacted me with the number XXXX and XXXX, in the words of their supervisor their number changes often. They are located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, New York. According to the local police department they are well known to run many scams. According to consumer finance they have over 500 negative complaints. Since XX/XX/XXXX they have called me about 11 times. I have spoke to them 4 times telling them to stop calling me, including telling their management. In their messages they demand that I give the information regarding the where about of XXXX XXXX ( last name not understandable. ) I do not know this person and I told them that. I have called them on each number they call me from, each number leads to the same company and each time they say that " I am not in the system '' " they never called me before ''. They are liars, they call me and then say they never called me, I have the call logs and voice messages to prove it.

XXXX XXXX XXXX called a family member attempting to contact me regarding a a supposed debt which has been settled well over 10 years ago. This company scared my mother in law who happens to live close to me who frantically brought me the contact information. She is old and had no idea what was going on. I have not received a notice whatsoever regarding this company nor any correspondence whatsoever only this phone call. I told them not to call my family again. They claim to represent XXXX. I also filed a lawsuit against this company they claim to represent for making several violations according to the CFPB. XXXX XXXX XXXX has a BBB rating of F and has so many complaints against them currently its scary. I have zero information other than a phone number of XXXX and a person named XXXX. Long gone are the days of scare tactics, threats, and insinuations to others to scare information from someone to collect a debt. I recieved a call from a XXXX XXXX from phone number XXXX claiming my husband owed a debt of {$300.00} to a company called XXXX XXXX XXXX. I also spoke with her superior named XXXX, who said they are a 3rd party collection agency, named XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX NY XXXX. The company the claim we owe has no website, every phone number listed is disconnected and online numerous complaints that it is a scam. I contacted my bank and they confirmed we never recieved funds from them and searched multiple months. XXXX was claiming perhaps this was the only acct. they tried to receive payment from. They had the last 4 of my husband 's ssn, our checking acct number and my email address. They claimed we owed {$480.00} and they got very defensive which was quite odd when I simply asked for the contact information for the company. Supposedly they say they marked my file as disputed and that XXXX XXXX XXXX. will figure out how to contact us from there.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from Forward Movement Recovery claiming that I have an outstanding debt with XXXX XXXX and they are a company trying to collect that debt from sometime XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX time line. I explained to the representative XXXX ( XXXX ) that this is a false debt, and was paid already to a debt collector. She requested me to find records from XX/XX/XXXXalmost 8 years ago and I will get back to her and the company as soon as possible. Since that day, they have called me and my contacts and references since XX/XX/XXXX including today. She had stated that the company is going to call everyday and once a day to me and all my contacts until it is settled. This is an entirely different conversation fromXX/XX/XXXX. The contact for Forward Movement Recovery is ( XXXX ) XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX I will also be filing a complaint against cash central because this debt was already collected by another debt collection company back in XX/XX/XXXX/XX/XX/XXXX

I was contacted today by XXXX ( extension XXXX ) from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and advised that she was calling in an attempt to collect a debt. Knowing I have no accounts in collections or accounts with debts owned on my credit. I could only assume this involved the previous debts I disputing with XXXX in previous CFPB complaint XXXX and XXXX. XXXX confirmed the XXXX accounts had recently been purchased and wanted to know when I would be making payment. I advised the her company purchased fraudulent debt and the amount I was being accused of owing was already in dispute with the FTC and the XXXX, and issued her complaint numbers. She did not care. XXXX was never able to validate the debt they said I owed yet were able to sell this supposed debt to another agency. I humbly ask XXXX to break this cycle of buying and selling fraudulent debt and resolve this issue once and for all. In the mean time I will be issuing a certified letter to cease and desist communication attempts.

I receive many call from local numbers. I dont know any of these. I answered one and they said they were from Forward recovery movement. They said I owed a loan many years ago. I didnt. I told them to prove it so they said they would send it. I recieved a letter from XXXX XXXX XXXX stating I owed money from companies I never heard of.. This was made on XX/XX/XXXX. I think this XXXX is a fraudulent company giving an A+ rating th these people. The only one I had was paid thru XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX was my rep. Their number is XXXX ... I owe no one. I want the calls to end. They call my work, they call me with fraudulent phone numbers. If they were legit they would give me names and dates from the original loan. The loan was paid years ago. And the company sold my information to another. Now they want monies not owed them. They say the new owner is XXXX and XXXX XXXX. And Original creditor is XXXX # XXXX I have never heard of either.

On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX called from FMR or Forward Movement Recovery and left a message about location and tracing. If I did n't call back they would call all references. I called back XXXX ext XXXX. XXXX stated the loan was taken out XX/XX/XXXX and listed XXXX XXXX. My XXXX XXXX account was closed in XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. I asked if he could send me the original contract which he said no. I then asked him to tell me what the expiration date on my driver license was since he said he had a copy. Once again was told no. So I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXX at XXXX. They stated their systems go back to XX/XX/XXXX and could n't locate me in their system. So I called back FMR and stated that the original debtor does n't have me in their system. He said that they broke the law by telling me that which is odd since that 's who I owe the money to supposedly and that he was just a mediator. They hung up on me and refused to give me any info.

A phantom debt collection agency called Forward Movement Recovery called me today stating that they wanted to get information. They asked me to verify my social security number, and I asked them who they were and if they had a professional license to practice debt collection in the state of Arizona. They refused to provide the license # or give any more information about themselves. After doing research it seems like their parent organization is called World Wide Processing Group, LLC - http : //worldwideprocessinggroup.info/index.html is their website. Numerous search results online state this is phantom debt, scams, etc. I am reporting this company because they stated that they are going to arrest me, and also stated that I owed money on a debt that has already been disputed for identity theft, and was taken off of my credit report because of this. They have called me 9+ times today after I told them to stop calling me.

On XX/XX/18 - XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) contacted members of my family whom I do not even speak to, nor have seen in years. They called an aunt and called my mother and proceeded to tell them that I owed a huge debt and that they must make contact with me, told them what kind of debt ( store credit card ) and that I was facing jail time due to it. I do not have contact with these people due to family reasons. Now, this company has violated my privacy by discussing my personal debt. It is creating more problems in my life by sharing information that is personal and private. In no way, should this practice be legal and I feel violated. I contacted this company and this is over a 3 year old store credit card for maybe {$300.00}, they would not give me an exact amount but this was the credit limit on card. I keep getting calls from someone named XXXX. The recorded message says to call them or they will contact family members concerning an unknown debt. I did some digging and found this is coming from a company called XXXX which is part of World Wide Processing Group llc. Neither company have a state license to operate as collection agency from the state of XXXX. This is illegal contact under federal as well as state laws. If they have anything that is legal then they should send a letter to be within the law. No company can attempt to collect a debt from a citizen of XXXX without a state license to operate as a collection agency. These XXXX companies are in violation of XXXX state law simply by calling me. I would like to see them in court here in XXXX County XXXX where I live. Received multiple calls personally and left no messages. They have also called one of my relatives repeatedly. My relative finally answered and they stated they were trying to locate my where abouts. He called me and gave the name of FMR and their phone number. When I called back and spoke to someone he spoke very fast and told me this was an attempt to collect a debt. And asked me if my last 4 of my social and then stated 4 digits. When I told him I refused to verify that info since I was no familiar with the the company he said well it's just the last 4 and then I said will not give verify that info he told me he wouldn't be providing me with any info and to call back if I wanted it and then disconnected the call. He would not attempt to verify anything else and would not explain to me why he needed just that federal law requires him to get that info.

This company, Forward Movement Recovery, has been calling my number for several months. They always ask for XXXX XXXX ( spelling? ) and I am not that person nor do I know them. In the past week, I have received the same call four times. It is a robocall stating that it is for XXXX XXXX. The first time I simply hung up. The subsequent times, I dialed 0 to speak to someone. First time it was a woman, second and third times it was a man. None ever gave their name, all were rude. The final man, XX/XX/2018, was exceptionally rude after I told him that I had repeatedly asked them to drop my number as I am not, nor do I know, XXXX XXXX. The man began yelling and I yelled back to drop my number. I am getting constant phone calls from a company named -forward movement recovery, daily. They said in a voice mail that they will start calling friends, relatives and work if I didn't call. I was contacted by this company, but they left no message. I then received a text from my brother who is a police officer and he stated that the company called him, looking for me.
