XXXX Credit Card sold tobWindy City Capital Management, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX, Il XXXX. I received letter ant owed. I called and set payments thru pay bills from my checking acct. Paid a small amt as on all my medical/credit card bills. Windy city sold acct to XXXX XXXX XXXX who left threatening harrasing msg on my phone. I called them. They offered high settlements. We then agreed on XXXX a mth but wanted me to give them my credit card or bank #. Told XXXX and XXXX XXXX I would not. They would not give me their address/info. Gave a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX,, XXXX, IL XXXX. I told them I don't mail money to questionable comp who didn't send me validation notice, what I owe and info abt their company. Said I would see them in court. XXXX XXXX angry. Called XXXX with Windy City Capital Mgmt asked why I was being harassed after making a payment. She became very rude. Asked why she sent my acct to scam comp making threatening calls. She hung up.

I received a letter from the FDIC to follow up with you. I left a message with XXXX XXXX at FDIC regarding help with getting positive credit report updates. I think XXXX ( a manager at XXXX XXXX ) may have called me on on around XX/XX/19 regarding a settlement for around {$340.00}. On XX/XX/19, XXXX XXXX ( not sure of spelling ), helped me set up a settlement payment arrangement for {$25.00} on XX/XX/19 and the rest of it to come out ... possibly XXXX on XX/XX/19. I believe I contacted Windy City Capital on XX/XX/19. They may work with XXXX XXXX, but did not have my account information. Therefore, they would not be able to update my XXXX status to paid on my credit report. Again, I am waiting to call back XXXX after today to see if they are willing to forgive this debt and just leave my XXXX status as charged off if they are unable to update it to paid.
