1 ) We were never given our rate until it was too late for us to back out of the deal and lose our earnest money - and we feel the rate is outside of industry norms given our credit profile, income, property, etc ... ; 2 ) We were never given a Final Closing Disclosure as required by Federal Law 3 days prior to closing ; 3 ) When we DID receive a Final Closing Disclosure at closing, our loan officer asked us several times to back date it ( which would have been a commission of loan fraud ) and only stopped pushing us to do that when we insisted that he no longer ask us to commit loan fraud and signed and dated the CD after closing ( with the actual time and date that we received it ) ; 4 ) When we got to closing our costs to close were $ 30K more than we were expecting or had liquid - and we had to choose between scraping for cash and losing our {$28000.00} earnest money deposit ; 5 ) When we brought these concerns to our loan officer via phone during our closing we were told there was nothing that he or Westpark could do to assist us and we were left choosing between losing our {$28000.00} earnest money deposit or signing the documents. There are a litany of other irritations we had with the process - but the major concerns are addressed above.
