XX/XX/XXXX : I received a letter from Weber & Associates, a debt collection agency, stating that a medical bill from an emergency room visit that I had on XX/XX/XXXX had been sent to them for collections and now owed {$890.00}. I had been trying to dispute this bill directly with the hospital and was still awaiting an itemized receipt from them, so I was surprised to receive a notice of collection already. At this time I was already in communication with the hospital itself.
XX/XX/XXXX : XXXX XXXX, an employee of Weber & Associates, contacted me over the phone about this supposed debt. I let him know that I was currently disputing it with the hospital and also asked him to explain why I had been sent to collections. Upon learning that I was in the process of disputing the bill, he asked me to send a letter to formally inform Weber & Associates that I was doing this. I told him I understood this and said to expect a letter from me. After this call, I drafted a letter formally asking Weber & Associates to validate this debt and pause all debt collection during this period. I sent this letter through certified mail.
XX/XX/XXXX : According to the USPS Certified Mail Tracking number, my letter was picked up at the post office.
XX/XX/XXXX : This is the date of the next communication ( letter ) that I received from Weber & Associates. In this letter, they claimed that I did not dispute the validity of the debt, even though they received my letter clearly stating that I was disputing it. The letter also specified that because of interest, I now owed {$900.00}.

I have 2 XXXX XXXX from the same XXXX entity, XXXX XXXX. The first one is for a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX they charged me for that is covered 100 % by my insurance. I received the XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. Someone in their office miscoded it as just an injectable and not a XXXX XXXX XXXX so they are charging me {$140.00} when it should be 100 % covered. They are also trying to charge me for the office visit for that shot, which is also covered under the free birth control benefit I have.
The second charge is for a {$25.00} office visit in XX/XX/XXXX that was actually just a phone call giving me the results of a scan I had. Not only are virtual/phone appointments free under my insurance plan, this also happened during COVID so I was forced to have a phone appointment because I was not allowed to go into their office. I have never heard of being charged to get told your test results.
I have contacted the debt collector and it took him over 3 months to get a response to me and basically all he said is that the creditor says the debt is valid. There was ZERO research done into my insurance benefits and that these are covered items. They just simply said the amount is owed. I do not feel it is fair to have my credit effected over something I should have never been billed for in the first place. I have been trying to resolve one of these for almost 2 years now, and was ignored until it went into collections. Now the debt collector wont help me any further even though I can prove that I am not supposed to be charged for what they billed me for.

I paid the dues billing received from XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX.
In XX/XX/XXXX I received a bill for dues from Weber & Associates.
XXXX I asked Weber for a breakdown / details as to what they claimed I owed and Weber could not provide such information.
Weber just resent me WEBERs created vague bill.
XX/XX/XXXX I called Weber - Weber had no record of my XX/XX/XXXX payment, so I contacted XXXX XXXX and asked XXXX XXXX to check its records.
XX/XX/XXXX - I spoke with XXXX ( accounting ) at XXXX XXXX said it received my payment in XXXXand confirmed no further payment was needed as I paid my dues in full ( the amount billed to me by XXXX XXXX ).
XXXX - accounting for XXXX XXXX -said she would inform Weber that my dues had been paid in FULL in XX/XX/XXXX ...
Fast forward ... and in XX/XX/XXXX, I receive another bill from Weber & Associates- stating that although dues had been paid - Weber NOW wanted more fees and interest charges- based on what? After XXXX XXXX already confirmed that in XX/XX/XXXX all dues / amounts charged by XXXX XXXX had been paid / check cashed etc.
Weber is AGAIN asking for collections ... this time asking for fees and interest ( with no breakdown, no details as to basis or calculation or rates or time period etc ) - based on what basis or calculation - when XXXX XXXX accounting confirmed previously that the dues were paid / check cashed XX/XX/XXXX ...
and in XX/XX/XXXX XXXX of XXXX XXXX accounting confirmed no further dues or amounts were owed??!

This Collection agency Weber & Associates continue to refuse to validate the debt claimed to be owed to them and have also violated the FDCPA Section 807 ( 8 ) I have proof they did not validate the debt. They also violated and failed to communicate the debt was disputed within 30 days of receiving my letter to do so. They even sent a latter which validates they did not adhere to the FDCPA policy within the allowed timeframe per the date they received my first request which was XX/XX/18. Please see the return receipt ( s ) for reference.

Another company named " Weber and Associates '' appeared my credit report XX/XX/XXXX for exact same amounts on my credit report for the same four amounts.
This needs to be removed immediately from all my credit reports.
I spoke to XXXX a representative yesterday and she demanded proof of payment. I sent her an email to XXXX XXXX
