This was a business debt of our XXXX XXXX XXXX owed to ATLAS Financial ; the XXXX was dissolved is XX/XX/XXXX and my business partner took ownership of the debt ; in XX/XX/XXXX discharged the entire amount {$4600.00} in chapter XXXX bankruptcy. I was not contacted by collector ATLAS for over four years - even though my phone number never changed. I believed the debt was discharged in bankruptcy therefore did n't know debt still existed. In XXXX XXXX I learned through my credit report that {$5500.00} was on public record ; upon calling ATLAS the representative told me their record shows it was satisfied by bankruptcy and they would research why it appeared on my report. In the next conversation with a representative I was told I owed over {$7000.00} and it was due immediately. I questioned why and how it could be - since I had heard nothing from them for so many years and my contact info is same. The person replied " we did n't have the manpower to make those calls ''. Now that I 've contested the amount owed when it had been discharged ( I was named as co-debtor ) ATLAS has added the interest for the 4+years they never contacted me about the debt. If the original amount is due then they could have negotiated how I plan to pay, but within a week or two a garnishment was sent to my employer and the debt shows a total of {$9300.00} and says I have no rights to dispute it. It seems some investigation into collection practices, misrepresentations and interest charged while not actively attempting to collect the debt are highly suspect. Adding {$4600.00} interest after ATLAS had totally written me off ( until I called them ) is unreasonable and not acceptable.

I have had this phone number for 6 years now and I keep getting phone calls from debt collectors for XXXX XXXX despite the fact that I have repeatedly told them that I do not know who that is, that this is not his number, and to stop calling me. Atlas Financial will not stop calling me despite me having told them this information several times. They call me at least once per week and sometimes they call more than once in a day, they call me with a robot pre-recorded message, they also call me sometimes with live people, they skip the phone call part and somehow direct themselves directly to my voicemail without my phone showing an incoming call at all, and sometimes they actually do make my phone ring before going to voicemail. There are also signs that this is a scam because when I XXXX Atlas Financial it comes up with a company that has nothing to do with debt collection, but I do not care to check into it deeply since I am not the person they are supposedly trying to reach anyway. The number they call from is XXXX although they have also called from a blocked number and from a phone number in XXXX , Washington that I did not keep a record of. Their pre-recorded voicemail message that skips having my phone ring says, " We have an important message from Atlas Financial Services, this is a message from a debt collector, please call XXXX or visit our website at www.myatlasaccount.com. '' The reason I know they are looking for XXXX XXXX is because when they periodically have a human call me that is the person they either ask to speak to or leave a voicemail message saying they are trying to reach. Please make them stop calling me.

My name is XXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I sold my vehicle to XXXX XXXX of XXXX, Oregon XXXX. DOB XX/XX/XXXX. Phone Number : XXXX. His wife is XXXX XXXX and can be reached at XXXX. I sent my transfer of liability form to the DMV on XX/XX/XXXX via mail, I sent a detached signed copy of my title via mail to the DMV, and I filled out a transfer notice on the DMV online web portal. The vehicle was reported stolen on XX/XX/XXXX and was found crashed. The owner showed police proof of ownership yet the towing company fined me, then they sent me to collections. I have provided official copies of police reports and certified documentation demonstrating my release of liability to the debt collection agency. I have sent numerous emails and phone calls, and I have not received a call back providing me any information that this debt was removed from my record. I am being held liable for {$800.00}, this is not my debt and I do not owe it. They have provided me little information about actions taken or not taken on my behalf in relation to this debt and have not provided me any clear or concise details as to the process of this debt being removed from my name. I also have no idea if my tax refund or unemployment funds are being held up because of this agency. The debt collector has been harassing me with multiple phone calls. Even went the extreme to start calling me on a 2nd phone number. I was interrupted at my work place over and over again. The most recent form of harassment was at my personal residence. A person ( not authorized ) or allowed in my secure resident building got into the building with out being buzzed in by me ( personally ) I am the only one that can buzz a person into my building with my cell phone. Apparently a person came to my condo door during the work day and knocked on my condo 's front door. The person tried to had off papers to a friend and that person said I will not accept any paperwork for my friend. Later, I found paperwork on my doorstep. The paperwork was not in an envelope. The person left small claims paperwork on my doorstep, open for any resident to read. This is an invasion of my privacy and I did not authorize a person ( s ) from Atlas to enter my building residence at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX OR. XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) I will say again my building is secure ( no doorman ) but we have locks on all doors including the garage doors and entrance through the garage into the lobby. No one is to tress pass or enter the building with out the resident letting a person ( s ) into this building. I believe the paperwork left at my door step is a form of harassment friend and to myself and I would like to file an official complaint against Atlas Financial Services.

I received an alert from a credit monitoring company I pay notifying me That XXXX XXXX had placed a derogatory account on my XXXX credit report XX/XX/XXXX, which in turn reduced my credit score significantly. I never received any written communication from XXXX XXXX, and never received any phone call from XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX XX/XX/XXXX and spoke with XXXX, who notified me this account was for " XXXX XXXX '' and was in my maiden name. My account with XXXX XXXX was closed in XXXX, I filed Chapter XXXX Bankruptcy in XXXX which was closed XX/XX/XXXX, and this debt was included with my bankruptcy case # XXXX. At some point in either XXXX or XXXX I was contacted by a XXXX XXXX regarding this debt and let them know at that time this debt was included in my bankruptcy and I was told that the collection company made an error and they would remove this account from their system. Here we are 8 years later and XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are still trying to collect on a debt not owed. XXXX at XXXX XXXX said she would remove the reporting from my credit report and update my account with them, however the damage is already done to my credit score due to XXXX XXXX 's erroneous reporting. In addition their collection practices are inept, I was never notified about this debt prior to them reporting it to my credit, and never given the opportunity to dispute prior to XXXX reporting it to my credit.

Dear Sirs! My previous landlord did not notify me in a written manner ( did not send a written notice ) about the collection moreover did not give me a possibility to dispute the debt. I got known about the collection while was applying for a new credit card. Collector " XXXX XXXX XXXX '' XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WA XXXX, the landlord " XXXX XXXX at XXXXXXXX XXXX ''. I did know that I can dispute the debt and require from them an additional information in order to validate the debt therefore paid in full. I scared that my credit score will go down and decided to make a payment ASAP. Appears that actually no matter if I have paid or unpaid collection nevertheless it hurts the credit history tremendously. After that I called a bunch of times and also send them both ( the collector and the landlord ) emails to remove a paid collection from my credit report and unfortunately any luck. The landlord gave me a notice to vacate to premises, I vacated the apartment unit moreover gave them a notice to vacate in a written form, same day the representative from the landlord inspected the premises. After that they did not inform me that created a collection debt for the lease termination. Looking fwd for your cooperation and help in the case In my opinion the landlord and collection agency did not give me a change and a possibility to validate the debt and prove my rightness.

I received a letter from a third party debt collector about a debt that I have already went to court on and received judgement against me on in the amount of XXXX and it stated that this balance was accruing interest at the rate of 29.99 percent. I called this company on XX/XX/XXXX to let them know I have a legal judgement on this debt and it is only allowed to accrue interest at the rate Idaho allows, which is 5 percent plus the base rate Of XXXX. The company stated they do not have any information about the judgement and that it will remain at the 29.99 percent until I sent them the paperwork from the judgement. I sent that paperwork on XX/XX/XXXX and then called to get status on XX/XX/XXXX since previous emails asking about status we're going unanswered. I again told them that it was in the courts of Idaho and according to Idaho law any judgement can not accrue interest more than 5 percent plus base rate. The lady then told me the client told her to charge me the 29.99 rate anyways regardless of the judgement so that's what they will do, and if I don't pay they will sue me again on this same debt that I was already sued on, and if I get an attorney good luck and just let them know the name.

I sold a vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX and reported the sale on the Oregon DMV website. Nearly five years later ( XX/XX/XXXX ), the vehicle had never been registered or titled by the new owner. The car was towed and I received a letter from XXXX ( XXXX bureau of transportation ) stating that a vehicle registered in my name was towed by XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX started a lien, who also later sent me a letter saying the vehicle would be auctioned to pay the debt. I ultimately received a notice from a debt collector ( XXXX XXXX ) with a {$870.00} bill. I called them and notified them that I was no longer the owner and that I reported the sale. I went to the oregon DMV and requested the record. The record did not include the buyers address, which is not a required field to report a vehicle sale ( see attachment ). XXXX XXXX has this record, which also includes the buyers name. The record includes the fact that I did report the sale in XX/XX/XXXX such as to release my interest in the vehicle ( XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ). XXXX XXXX refuses to accept this DMV record because It does not include the address of the buyer. I do not believe they are just in continuing send me bills/phone calls for this debt.

I had several visits to XXXX XXXX XXXX for medical treatment. I paid the invoices in installments and I believe paid in full. I received a notice from Atlas Financial Services, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, WA XXXX advising my account had been assigned to them for collection of {$260.00}. I disputed within the 30 day time frame as I my accounting indicated I had paid XXXX XXXX XXXX in full and needed documentation verifying the debt. On XX/XX/19 I received a letter from Atlas indicating that I had to sign a form waiving my HIPAA Privacy rights to give Atlas access to my medical records. I refused to do so and do not see any reason I would have to provide access to my private medical records in order for them to provide evidence I owed the debt. I did not hear back from Atlas until today, XX/XX/19, when I was served in XXXX County Oregon for {$250.00} + {$55.00} + {$45.00} in fees. I will pay the full amount to make this all go away ; however, Atlas Financial Services did NOT provide me any documentation validating the debt and therefore violated the Fair Credit Act.

I have been disputing this item since I became aware of it. There are numerous complaints I have made. This is regarding an apartment I sublet in XXXX Oregon from the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I rented the apartment for two months. I paid a security deposit. I notified XXXX that my job had ended @ XX/XX/2014. XXXX informed me that it was ok. Rental demand for apartments in XXXX is high and they were able to rent the apartment. When I asked for the invoice to substantiate the claim I did not paid I was given the attached invoice which is for a period of time I was not resident. I have submitted copies of my bank statement which shows two withdrawals for {$700.00} each paid on XX/XX/XXXX, and XX/XX/2014. I have asked XXXX XXXX to research the money orders which typically I used to pay rent. I have sent the bank statement to XXXX XXXX who claims that the withdrawals do not prove that I paid. It doesn't prove that I did not. This dispute has been ongoing and frustrating that it is not corrected. No matter what I supply XXXX and XXXX XXXX still claim I didn't pay.

Atlas financial breached an agreement of contract we made in XX/XX/2017 that was to end XX/XX/2017 and they stalked me whenever I was employed and unemployed through XX/XX/XXXXreports and they came to my house to serve me with court documents with a judgment lein that was falsefied and used coercion to force me to pay {$680.00} on a {$200.00} medical debt. My jib was terminated on XX/XX/2017 and on my way home Atlas financial calling my lhone threatening judgment and warrants for garnishment if I didn't pay prior to the date the contract was over. When I went TO the court house the day after I lost my job on XX/XX/17 I found out that there was NEVER a judgment filed with the courts like I was served while getting out of my car at my house on the DAY XXXX started my XXXX in XX/XX/2017! They used foul language by phone and they weren't a debt collection company in the same state as me and refused to give me actual address. Only a PO address and I want my money back.

they are overly charging me for for cleaning. they are charging me a XXXX dollars on top of the XXXX $ paid to them. I do n't think that injust because they say that they want this money that they should be able to put this on my credit report I lived in a XXXX sq ft duplex that I defiantly can replace everything in the house for XXXX $ the deposit that was they with held. i had a auto loan through XXXX that went into default they sold the debt to atlas financial atlas filed for a judgement and got it approved when filing a auto loan judgement the law is they have to file in the county you reside in they did not do this im in XXXX county XXXX the judgement is in XXXX county XXXX where ive never lived when they got the judgement they filed to the credit beurros both reliable and atlas filing against my credit for the same loan legaly they cant both file for the same loan after reliable sold the loan to atlas not filing in my county they should have never got a judgement i have sent several letters to the parties involved in this atlas financial and reliable credit and the XXXX beuros with no positive result i would like this off my credit report more than XXXX tactic they have used is not legal and they should not be able to report negatively please help me with this issue thank you XXXX XXXX

I was alerted about a debt through my employer. On the judgement it shows " Atlas Financial Services ''. I called Atlas. They told did not verify me as the consumer, they denied reporting to credit bureaus as past the statute of limitations. The amount reported owed is 2x what is listed on the XXXX XXXX OR case record. The debtor did not notify me in XXXX as the case note indicates. I was actively working and at a permanent residence, working with a credit fixing agency, whom also did not find debt listed in my credit history or judgements. I have attempted to deny the claim with the court and was denied due to default judgement listed XX/XX/XXXX. It is XX/XX/XXXX and employer received noticed of the debt, first issued for collections in XXXX, then XXXX. OR law statute of limitations is 6 years. Collection agency, AFS, disclosed medical debt without verifying myself as the responsible party.

I received services at the XXXX XXXX on our about XXXX. During that time I became unemployed and was eligible for insurance through the state. I amassed {$1000.00} in medical bills and advised the XXXX XXXX that I was covered by state insurance but XXXX XXXX refused to bill secondary insurance. They sent the account to Atlas Financial Services and I received court documents on XX/XX/XXXX that I was being sued for {$1900.00} which was an additional XXXX dollars over what I owed. After calling up the collection agency and attempting to make an agreement with them I was then advised that the case was dismissed due to XXXX XXXX XXXX failure to bill the secondary state insurance which would have covered the entire bill.

I sublet an apartment in XXXX Oregon. I paid a deposit. I paid my rent.The job that I was in town for ended.I gave my notice to the landlord which was 30 days. The cash deposit that I paid to the landlord covered the remaining month. Fine. I have had negative reports to my credit.A company called the Atlas Financial is harassing me daily. This matter gets resolved then a month later another debt collection company springs up like mushrooms after a rain storm. I am really tired of being harassed. This is for an apartment that I lived in for a month and paid 3 months rent on. To make matters worse, the company that I rented from no longer owns the building. It seems to be owned by someone else.

This is a XXXX year old debt from 2009 I believe ... I didnt even know about it until they start garnishing me 3 years ago out the blue ... .the debt is from a fiancs car I returned the car I was told at the time they sold the car to pay my remaining balance off ... didnt even know I still owed a balance.. never received a bill in the mail nothing for 10 years and than I start getting garnished. I quit my job due to daycare issues. Changed careers and havent been garnished. Until now ... this debt is so old and isnt even on my credit report.. how can they sue me and garnish me ... without even giving me the options of doing a payment plan..

I received a letter from Atlas Financial Services dated XX/XX/22. It was sent to my prior address in an envelope commonly used for " junk mail ''. It stated I owed XXXX XXXX XXXX {$400.00} in principal and {$150.00} in interest for a total of {$550.00}. Atlas Financial did not include the language that I have 30 days to dispute the debt and are in violation of the FDCPA. I have sent a letter disputing the debt as my records show I paid XXXX XXXX XXXX in full. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Aprox 3 weeks ago I requested verification for this debt. They sent me a letter saying they dont have to verify this debt that there is no basis in law to substantiate my right to such information and there is no duty to comply with such excessive verification demands. This letter was sent on XX/XX/2021 for the amount of {$10000.00}. I dont understand why theyre trying to collect for a debt from me that they wont verify.

I was called to the front office at my place of employment. They handed me a notice of intent to collect a debit. The main problem was that it was opened for all to read. Almost everyone here gets mail and it is opened and distributed because it is all work related. This was not! This has personal information on it.
