RECEIVED A NOTICE FROM WA COLLECTORS VIA MAIL XXXX, STATING I OWE XXXX PER OVERDUE BILL CITY OF XXXX. I tried to call WA COLLECTORS but they would not give me any information unless I gave them my date of birth. I would not do so. I offered to give the the code number from the top of the letter I received but they demanded my DOB and would not respond further without this. I called next to the CITY OF XXXX. They told me that several bills had been sent in the name of XXXX XXXX to an address listed as XXXX XXXX, XXXX WA. I explained I was not XXXX XXXX and that I could not have received the notice that was sent to a place that I do not live at and have never lived at. Also, why are they sending me to a collection business when my name is not even on the bill. They would not respond to my questions and abruptly stated that " this was out of their hands now that it had been sent to collections and I would need to talk to the Collection agency. This is the 2nd time I have encountered a collection notice from this agency that is incorrect and due to this agency not correctly verifying information on the debt before sending me a notice that I owed money. The first time they did so the AG office in WA state contacted them and investigated, resulting in this agency responding that it was in error.

My late husband 's car was impounded by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. They sent us the bill and we sent them the check with full amount of XXXX. One year later XXXX we got another letter from Washington Collectors Tri-Cities. We called them and told them we already paid and we did not owe any money.
