We had an addition done on our home, the company of Wallick & Volk is the lender and mortgage company , the contract was signed in XXXX of XXXX. During the loan process, the mortgage company changed the loan from a conventional loan that was to include land I had as well as the construction and existing home to an FHA loan that did not include the land in order to " make it easier and faster to complete ''. The process started in XXXX of XXXX with the builder submitting the invoice at that time. The invoice was sent again by me on XXXX of XXXX and the lender said at that time we need to do the loan as a FHA renovation refinance without the additional land added. After the addition was completed it was discovered by the builder, XXXX XXXX, that the lender failed to include the full amount in the loan which shorted him close to {$40000.00}. There was a built in overage into the loan which was turned over to the builder leaving an amount of just under {$27000.00} owed to the builder. Wallick & Volk then admitted to their mistake through emails and phone calls and stated they would work to fix the problem by refinancing the loan without charging additional loan fees to me due to their mistake. ( Loan fees where around the same amount owed to the builder ). In XXXX of XXXX I received an email asking me to contact the appraiser to see if I could get him to raise the appraisal of my home from {$330000.00} to {$370000.00}. It was also stated in that email that it was illegal for them ( Wallick & Volk ) to ask but that I could. Appraisal stayed the same. In XXXX of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX at XXXX XXXX ) I received a phone call from XXXX, who I have talked to on several other occasions where she stated it was a huge oversight by the XXXX XXXX office and the mistake was made by them ( Wallick & Volk ), at this time she stated that they are going to pay the builder because it was their mistake, they would make it right, and I was not to worry about anything that its all taken care of and a check would be mailed out to XXXX XXXX by that Friday. I contacted XXXX XXXX and inform them of the same. XXXX XXXX told me he received the same phone call from XXXX and was sending her the information she requested. After several weeks I contact Mr XXXX to make sure he received the check. He stated he had not and he has tried to contact Wallick & Volk but no one has returned his phone calls of emails. I then called Wallick & Volk but my call went to voice mail. I tried several other times on different days and all my calls went to voice mail. Each time I called I left a voice mail. I have not heard back for Wallick & Volk since. In the email asking me to have the appraiser raise the appraisal there were a string of emails attached to the one sent to me was a email from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stating " So it appears WE are going to have to pay the contractor? ". It appears that all involved with the loan know the mistake made was by the lender, Wallick & Volk, but now do not want to make it right. There is now a construction lien on my home because of their mistake and refusal to correct their error after stating they would. This is not a good business practice.

I received a letter drafted XXXX/XXXX/XXXX that my mortgage company did not pay my XX/XX/XXXX property taxes from my reserve because of : " undivided parcel number/please send new tax bill, if applicable ''. I retrieved the bill from XXXX XXXX XXXX assessors website and faxed it to the mortgage company on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX ( I had sent a page earlier, but it was for the wrong building as I own XXXX neighboring buildings ). On XXXX I noticed the bill had still not been paid, so I called. I was told that they would " open a work order '' ( 8 days after receiving the proper paperwork? ) I checked again today XXXX, and it still has not been paid, so I called again. They are claiming that the parcel numbers do not match between the tax bill and the closing documents so they are " researching '' it. When I asked if they had simply called the county, they would/could not tell me. The bill was due in XXXX, and they still will not expedite the payment. What can I do?

I started my communication with XXXX XXXX with Wallick and Volk at XXXX XXXX Texas on XX/XX/2019, after a phone call and a few emails I decided to apply using their web site so they can review my application and at some point I was hopping to ear back from her or their team with some response or any news event if they were bad news. Well to this point I haven't hear from them, I went back to their web site and can not log in. I am so worry because I uploaded ( more that a year ago ) my financial and personal info and never hear o get an email from this company again. I not so sure if my personal info has been protected as prescribed by the law. The worse customer service I ever had, but just want to post this review to alert others individuals if you want to use this Wallick & Volk companyTHINK TWICE..!!!
