I purchased a mobile home in XX/XX/XXXX for {$18000.00} at my first duty station. I payed {$240.00} a month for the time XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX/XXXX handled the mortgage. During the five years I had the mortgage I was never late in making a payment. When I received orders to a new duty station inXX/XX/XXXX I had to complete a short sale of the mobile home with a third party. The short sale yielded {$10000.00}, enough to pay off the principal of the XXXX XXXX mortgage. They agreed to the pay off amount and accepted the payment. Over the past 19 years XXXX XXXX has changed hands and had a class action lawsuit levied against them. They hit my credit report with an amount that was supposed to reflect the fees, accrued interest etc. inXX/XX/XXXXafter they had agreed to the pay off amount and accepted payment. The normal period of reporting unpaid claims is seven years. I worked with legal counsel several times from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX to get the negative reports removed. Once the negative reporting dropped off my credit report I was relieved and thought the issue was behind me. Recently my credit report has been hit again from UTAH LOAN SERVICING LLC asking for payments against a 19 year old mortgage that was settled. I do n't have any of the original paperwork from XXXX XXXX/XXXX after 5 moves and 7 years of bad credit reporting to show that the mortgage was settled. UTAH LOAN SERVICING LLC has never attempted to contact me via phone, mail, email or any other type of communication. I feel that they are a predatory company and do not have the right to take action on a claim that is over 19 years old. My home of record, for military service, has always been Missouri and after reviewing the Missouri Statute of Limitations on Debt Collection ; I feel that this debit collection is illegal. I am submitting a complaint to get UTAH LOAN SERVICING LLC removed from all of my credit reports and to provide information to others that my have the same issue. I was received a letter from The Circuit Court for XXXX XXXX of Maryland stating plaintiff : Utah Loan Servicing , LLC has put in a motion for Default Judgment in the amount of {$130000.00} for a loan that I borrowed from XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXXXXXX for a single unit property located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Maryland XXXX.
I believe I owe Utah Loan Servicing none of this amount ( {$0.00} ) as I was a victim of subprime lending and part of the National Mortgage Settlement filed with the United States District Court for the District of XXXX in which Maryland was one of the states who alleged XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX, F/K/A : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. All of whom collectively state these banks violated the Unfair and Deceptive Acts and Practices laws of the Financial Institutions Reform, Recovery, and Enforcement Act of 1989. I also received a check from the XXXX XXXX XXXX on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX in the amount of : {$1400.00} as my portion of the amount of the lawsuit settlement. I am asking for your office 's assistance in helping me to resolve this matter with Utah Loan Services

This is a foreclosure that happened in 2008. The company continues to harrass me and put this account on my credit report. I am currently going through a security clearance and it keeps popping up. The account is having my job question my integrity.
