OnXX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Utah Billing & Recovery Services on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) that a claim had been placed with their office against me for {$420.00}.
In XX/XX/ I had ordered a tshirt from XXXX through their XXXX page for {$39.00}. I was not allowed to select a size. I contacted the seller via email and stated that I had placed an order and that I needed an XXXX and could they please contact me to verify they received my information. Several days went by with no response. I then tried calling the seller and the call would never go through as if the number was disconnected. Thinking I had been the victim of a scam I contacted XXXX since the transaction was through them. I explained the situation and they opened a case. That same day I received an email from the seller berating me for contacting XXXX. The seller threatened to have me charged with bank fraud and have my credit ruined. I responded that I wanted the merchandise and that I just needed to let him know the correct size. I did not hear back from the seller. About a week later I received a shirt in the mail. It was a XXXX not the XXXX I had asked for. The invoice stated " no size specified ''. At this point I was done with the issue and gave the tshirt away. Shortly after receiving the tshirt I was contacted by XXXX. They asked if II had received the item. I explained I had and though it was the wrong size I was done with the matter. On XX/XX/, according to my bank records, the {$39.00} was released to XXXX. XXXX closed the case on XX/XX/XXXX
On XX/XX/ I received the letter from the above mentioned collection agency.
I am reporting the collection agency for not verifying any information before taking a case against me. They have a responsibility to not take fraudulent cases from unscrupulous businesses. A quick internet search revealed that this is a common practice for XXXX. The collection agency could easily find this information as well.

Greetings. I was totally naive and gullible. i was asked to join and i told them i do not have a job in the year XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX..so i told them, the day i joined within few weeks, i wanted to withdraw- the agent agreed but i did not know they send totally to collection This is against ethics, integrity ... This does not make sense They were trying to play games on naive or gullible and too honest, direct, ethical upfront now i am trying for a very important job and this is showing in the report i am really worried what will happen it has never happened they are not honest and we can not contact them according to the lady who called me also

Utah Billing & Recovery is reporting an outrageous & erroneous debt on my credit file that I do not owe. This debt was {$300.00} and now it's reporting a debt of almost {$6000.00}. This is erroneous! I don't understand where this balance came from and it needs to be removed off my credit report. I do not owe this debt and I will be seeking an attorney if this is not fixed.
