On XX/XX/2020, I contacted Uptain Group to resolve an outstanding balance under {$60.00}. XXXX maintained a professional tone, but when I asked if Uptain Group reports unpaid collections to the credit bureau, her response was " This account hasn't been reported at this time. '' I then asked again if their company reports to the credit bureau. After asking the third time, she said they do not report. Her initial response was beyond false and misleading by answering " This account hasn't been reported at this time. '' The statement left much room for speculation that the account would/could be reported at some time.

I have never once received a phone call or a piece of mail stating that I owed anyone anything. I found out only years later by my credit report. I had Medicaid but later moved out of state. By the time I found out anything went wrong with billing it was already in collections and too late to fix and I didnt know you could dispute. I contacted my lawyer to make a settlement because I was also recently divorced with XXXX kids on my own and not usually receiving child support so I didnt have much money. He sent a letter on XX/XX/2018 and we have never heard anything back

On or about XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed an account on my credit reports for {$430.00}. I immediately sent the company a letter asking for validation of alleged debt, and proof with my signature that I have any obligation or contractual obligation to pay them. I received a piece of paper showing the alleged amounts I allegedly owe nothing that I asked for in my letter to them. I again sent a follow-up letter dated XX/XX/XXXX have not received any response nor have they noted on my 3 credit reports as per Federal and State law that the account is being disputed.

Company called and was hateful and harsssing tone and stated I owed debt that I never owed. I was forced to go to XXXX in XXXX 55 miles from my home to contact the business department, phone calls had long wait because of covid. I was forced to expose myself to possible XXXX XXXX by going to a medical building to take case of the false complaint that had been paid. I put myself at extreme risk because of my age and medical conditions to take care of this false debt.

i disputed a debt with XXXX for XXXX dollars and it was closed and removed from my credit in XX/XX/2016. I received a letter from uptain group. inc trying to collect on this debt again after it was removed from my credit. I contacted these people and they tell me they will report it on my credit again they do n't care what I say.

Uptain Group told me through the CFPB that they requested the erroneous collection be removed from my credit file on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX said the Uptain Group did submit a deletion request, in fact Uptain Group verified the erroneous collection information on XX/XX/XXXX according to XXXX.
