I have been sent to collections over a 4 year old anesthesiologist 's invoice ( Today is the 4-year anniversary of my XXXX ) that I knew nothing about until I received 1 invoice last XXXX XXXX. I promptly called them but never received a call back or received any more communication ( notes attached ) ; now I just received a collection notice on XXXX/XXXX/XXXX almost 4 years to the day! The original invoice was for anesthesia during my 41 MINUTE colonoscopy. my insurance paid {$2100.00} + {$150.00} for XXXX. My son 's anesthesiologist bill for his 4 HOUR XXXX was less than this. This ca n't be legal to bill ONCE so LATE, not return calls, then collections. ( and overcharging to say the least ). I finally got them to answer the other day after 5 calls and they said it was out of their control. I called the XXXX XXXX XXXX where the procedure was done, and they said they have many other people who have called them and told them that XXXX/Dr. XXXX did the same to them! This can not be legal and it is not the correct way to communicate with customers or do business! ( XXXX/Dr XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX Acct # XXXX, ( XXXX ) XXXX. Date of Service XXXX/XXXX/XXXX. TSG Collections XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, NJ XXXX.

I received a notice that I purportedly owed a debt of XXXX dollars. After examining the info sent, the attached invoice showed only XXXX dollars. After a few days and consulting with the company that claims I owe the money, they claim I owe only XXXX dollars. The invoice sent by TSG Collections was for an entirely different individual with their address and name. So not only was there an incorrect amount on the claim letter, but it also had the statement of an entirely different, uninvolved person.
I also needed to send an email a certified letter and still had to call them to be told they would give me a corrected amount. I am still waiting to receive that information despite them having my email information.
