My parents received a phone call today from someone at XXXX referencing claim # XXXX. They were told that they are attorney 's and have someone out to serve me papers today between XXXX and XXXX. My father has the same name as I do except I 'm the " XXXX ''. They gave him my last XXXX digits of my SSN and he told them no one there has that. They became rude with him. I was at the doctors office getting my XXXX XXXX checked when my parents called very worried. They gave me a phone number and claim number. I stepped outside and contacted them. The man answering connected me to another man 's voice mail and I left NO message. Called again and they forwarded me to a woman named " XXXX ''. She told me I needed to pay a debt to " XXXX XXXX ''. Explained I do n't remember ever having a credit card. She said the address they had been sending information to was in XXXX XXXX XXXX. Told her I had n't lived there for nine years. She then said I owed close to over $ 5K but if I set up a six month payment plan they would reduce to {$1500.00} with six payments of {$260.00}. Told her this sounded odd and with all the news about fraud I needed proof. She then told me that if I did nothing right now that the person would serve me papers and they would sue me and garnish XXXX % of my wages. She said they can not take credit card or payment information over the phone and that she would have to send me the form to fill out and sign with credit card information via email. Told her she can send it to me for my review but that I do not agree to anything. She said " ok. '' She also stated that she will email the company they are using to serve me papers and delay them for a few days. She said she needs to have the form sent back within two days or they will charge the full amount owed and serve papers. Received an email with XXXX PDF attachments from her with no body in the email. I have that email if you 'd like a copy. Went to my parents as it 's my mothers birthday today and then came home. Looked up the company on the internet and found no information about them Their name on on of the attachments is " Trustmark National '' with an address of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. On the other attachment in the email containing a blank form to enter credit card information has a " Third Party Authorization Form '' with " Nationwide Payment Solutions '' in the text and a phone number on the bottom of the form of XXXX. Looked that phone number up online and it 's not attached to any business. After doing internet searches for all companies she said she represented, no phone numbers she gave me or called me from meshed with any of the businesses. Called her back and was told she was in a " meeting ''. Left her a message telling her that in XXXX and XXXX the statues of limitation of collecting that debt has expired. Also told her that by law she needed to mail me via USPS details on what the debt she is referencing is. Have yet to receive an email or call back. The other thing I found very odd is that she never once asked me for my current mailing address, yet she referenced the last XXXX digits of my SSN. This is just terrible because both my parents have health issues relating to their XXXX. They did not need this, especially on my mothers birthday. For the record, I lived with my parents when I moved back to XXXX nine years ago for a few months but never used their address as my mailing address. Appreciate what you have done trying to combat these predators. Thank You, XXXX

On Friday, XX/XX/2022 : my account had several charges post to my account. Two charges were from XXXX, exceeding {$300.00} and a third for XXXX XXXX ( that {$16.00} would have not overdrafted but did due to the larger balance being pulled first ) thus causing my total available balance to be in the negative. At this moment my " posted '' balance was around {$60.00}. Two overdraft fees showed pending. Available balance was - {$690.00}. I have no issue nor complaint with these two overdraft fees as they are legitimate. I immediately noticed on Saturday, but could not do anything due to banking hours. On Monday, XX/XX/2022, two pending overdraft charges and debit card charges posted to the account. At this moment my account was now showing approximately - {$360.00} posted. I then made a {$680.00} cash deposit to reconcile the account and bring it positive. The original two overdraft charges were refunded by the teller. The available balance was approximately {$11.00} when i left the bank. This I thought would be the end of my mistake. On the same night : my cash deposit was showing pending, but a previous charge posted at the close of business. Again at this moment, I should have still had an {$11.00} available balance. However, I was then charged an overdraft fee bringing my account back negative from a pending charge on the XXXX that was already reconciled by the cash deposit. ( In layman 's terms I had already taken all pending charges into account when I made the deposit ). On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, another charge posted before my cash deposit, causing another overdraft fee due to being negative from the previous overdraft fee. All overdraft fees were reluctantly refunded after an extended argument at the bank. My first issue is : I did not agree to have overdraft protection, it was given when signing up for the account. I decline it due to this very reason. My second issue : the last three overdraft fees were not valid. The reasoning i was told for them being valid was that they were all charged on the XXXX but the debit card transactions still showed pending. However my deposit was not given the same respect as the overdraft charges. My reasoning is that it appears that the overdraft charges are acutally charged when the pending charges posts. If the overdrafts were going to happen regardless of my deposit, I should have been told, however I honestly do not believe this. My third issue : The teller and manager saw different views of my charges than me, not showing when transactions posted making it appear they were " justified. '' My view of my account would be different from what the bank saw. My overall complaint is that I am under the impression that regardless of bringing an account into the positive : you will be charged overdraft fees even with a direct cash deposit. It also appears that the timing of these charges were structured to increase the overdraft fees. The attachments are what I could see the night of XXXX XX/XX/XXXX.

I am a single father who opened my account with Trustmark Bank, located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX XXXX, on or around XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was checking my account when I noticed an unauthorized charge of {$890.00}. I did not know what this charge was for. The funds in my account were my rent payment and money for gas. I contacted the Trustmark Bank at XXXX XXXX and spoke with XXXX XXXX. Ms. XXXX informed me that the XXXX Dept of Revenue had seized my money. I did not know why. She told me to contact the XXXX Department of Revenue to find out why they took my money. I asked her how did they even know my bank account information. Per Ms. XXXX, the XXXX Dept of Revenue is allowed to give the bank social security numbers and have the bank run the social security numbers through their system, and all banks, to find out if people have accounts. I had never heard of this practice. It sounds illegal and a complete violation of privacy and the trust that we the customer put in the bank to safeguard our information. Trustmark Bank went behind my bank to run my social and give this information to the XXXX Dept of Revenue. I was a XXXX Resident that had lived in the State of XXXX for almost a decade and my account was opened at a Trustmark location in the State of XXXX. My sister contacted an Attorney in the Legal Department for the State of XXXX who informed her that years ago XXXX passed a law that requires all banks that operate within the borders of XXXX XXXX secretly run the social security numbers of private citizens to see if they have accounts. The Attorney stated that this did not apply to banks 'outside of XXXX '. When I contacted the XXXX Dept of Revenue I was informed the seizure was related to past due taxes from XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX. The XXXX Dept of Revenue stated they had my old XXXX XXXX address and could not reach me. Yet a simple XXXX search pulls up my address. I had been a resident of the state of XXXX for almost a decade. My bank account was opened in XXXX. The XXXX law should not have affected me as my branch is in XXXX. I was also not given proper notification. Trustmark Bank violated my privacy and trust by running search of my social security number through their system for the State without any notification to me. This allowed the State of XXXX to violate my due process by seizing my account without notification to me to allow me to remedy the situation. The state of XXXX had access to my correct address because this was on file with Trustmark Bank. Why did the state not request this information since they have the power over Trustmark to demand they do illegal social security searches without the customers knowledge? The funds that Trustmark Bank conspired with the State of XXXX to have seized were critical funds for me. They are my rent payment and gas costs. Without rent I risk eviction and without gas I risk job loss. This was wrong. I seek a remedy.

I'm filing a complaint against Trustmark National Bank. I applied for a XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at the location in XXXXXXXX XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I asked about the status. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email stating that the XXXX was declined due to XXXX. I replied that I was very surprised because I closed on a XXXX with Trustmark on XX/XX/XXXX and I didn't have any additional debt with the same income. I paid off and closed my XXXX and reapplied because I wanted to receive the {$10000.00} grant that they'e giving due to the settlement with DOJ and CFPB. The manager of the branch told me that Trustmark couldn't retroactively date my XXXX from XXXX to present. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from my financial services rep stating my XXXX was approved.The process was very swift the first time that I applied in contrast to the second time. On XXXX, I was to resend pictures of my house and I did, and I was asked more questions the second time. On XX/XX/XXXX, I asked when my XXXX would be closing. After going through a long, drawn-out process, my XXXX was declined because Trustmark said they can be in 3rd lien position . I asked why I received a XXXX once and then declined this time. I feel like I'm retaliate against because I closed my XXXX. I asked for denial disclosures and I was not given one. I provided a MIN summary stated tht XXXX ( formerly XXXX ) transferred my mortgage to XXXX. The second lien is {$15000.00} with the same entity XXXX. I was told the underwriters overlooked the second lien the first time. In contradiction, the financial rep told the second lien was added after I applied for the second Heloc. The two liens were recorded with the XXXX XXXX XXXX of Deeds on XX/XX/XXXX after I closed on my house XX/XX/XXXX. When I went into the branch, the rep showed me two packets which seemed to be doctored to appear like the second lien was added after I applied for the XXXX XXXX ; however, XX/XX/XXXX is the recorded date on both liens on the packets. I took a snapshots on both packets because I was told the packets couldn't leave the branch. The financial rep was excellent but I believe she was directed on what to tell me. It's very confusing because I received a home equity loan from Trustmark which I closed on XX/XX/XXXX and they put a lien on my house. At the bare minimum, I feel like I should be granted the XXXX and the {$10000.00} XXXX. I believe the way Trustmark handled the processing of XXXX application was totally unacceptable. My mother has been an account holder with them since XXXX, and I established my first account with them when I was XXXX or XXXX. This made me disappointed and I lost trust in them. There seem to be some XXXX because I was given misleading and false statements and Trustmark failed to give me denial disclosures. I'm thankful to have an agency to file my grievances and I look forward to hearing from you and Trustmark.

This involves a construction mortgage loan which was with Trustmark National Bank. Trustmark 's mortgage division denied a previously approved 30 year locked in rate ( see exhibit F ) for the permanent financing for this construction loan. The underwriting was behind schedule because they were all working from home during the height of the pandemic. This caused a delay in underwriting, so the denial occurred two months after the maturity of the construction loan. The reason for denial as stated by the Trustmark mortgage division ( see exhibit G ), was that they perceived that there was a forbearance on my credit from another loan ( different bank ) because the credit report showed a footnote that said " affected by national declared emergency '', even though the report reflected all debts as current. Trustmark bank, who held the construction note, then agreed to provide accommodations by modifying the loan, lowering the rate, deferring the current payment that had matured, and amortizing it for 240 payments. The span of time between when the construction loan matured, and when the underwriting for both the mortgage division, and the bank itself was complete was approximately 90 days. For this time period, the bank charged interest for the time value of the balance, but at the same time it reported the note as delinquent ( see exhibit H ). In Summary, My complaints are against Both Trustmark National Bank and Trustmark Mortgage for the following reasons : 1. Trustmark National Bank provided accommodations as defined in Section 4021 of the CARES Act, while being aware of, and in full knowledge that this issue was directly affected by COVID 19. 2. Trustmark bank violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act as well as Section 4021 of the CARES Act in reporting the covid related accommodations as delinquent. 3. The illegal/erroneous reports by Trustmark National Bank, has caused financial harm to me. 4. Both the loan officer, and branch president have been notified in writing of the incorrect reporting, but as to date, they either refuse to respond to the email, or otherwise have failed to respond. When confronted in person, the branch president stated his position to be that he had made no errors and would make no corrections. I have made every effort to pursue this through the channels available to me, such as filing disputes with the bank and various agencies including the credit reporting bureau experian. Now as there have been no corrections, I will pursue litigation if this avenue is not successful. Thanks for Your Help In This Matter

I opened a trustmark bank account here in XXXX Al this account have been open for about XXXX months when I first visited the bank branch located in XXXX 's corner here in XX/XX/XXXX the person who open my account never asked me if I wanted to opt in or out for overdraft. So about a week later I received a letter stating that they see that I opt out for overdraft in which she never asked me about it so on XX/XX/XXXX I called customer service at trustmark and requested to be opt in. And about 2 days later I was. So I deposited a check in which was written to me for an weight bench so I withdraw some of the funds and the check was returned. So the bank charged me the {$36.00} fee and Also the money that I withdraw from my account which was about {$260.00} total I have direct deposit of my pay check so when I went to the drive threw to make a withdrawal she say the total amount was not available so I sad I will drive around and come in and speak with some one so I did and the person at the new Account desk in which her attitude was bad and Was very rude so I made my withdrawal and left so the next day I called the corporate office of trustmark in XXXX Mississippi and she directed me to a person who was at the downtown branch and she was over the local managers so I told her what had happen and she appolizes and said she would talk with the mangers about their attitudes and I also mentioned to her that the corporate office did say that this would be kept confidential she said yes of course. The next day when I tried to use my debit card in which I had a courtesy overdraft limit with my account the purchase was denied so on today XX/XX/XXXX . I decide to just call the bank and see why the rep. Told me that I was opt out on XX/XX/XXXX I said by who? She put her manager on the phone the mange said it was done by a XXXX XXXX at the downtown location and she did n't no why I stated to her that I did n't give anyone permission to make changes to my account at all. She stated that should have never been done by an employee and put it back on XXXX . I have called and gotten information that this worker should not have been able to make any changes to my account without my consent. Please check into this because if this is the case she can do whatever she like and the customers will have no knowledge of this to this day almost a week late I still have n't received any letter about her opting me out of overdraft.

On XXXX XXXX , 2017 , I deposited several checks into my checking account, one of which was in excess of {$5000.00}. The branch manager put a hold on this check thereby making these funds unavailable to me for the purpose to which they were intended, even though the check cleared on the day of the deposit, or at the latest, the next day. The person who wrote the check received a notification that the funds had been removed from their account one day after the deposit, on XXXX XXXX , 2017 . Trust mark continued to hold the funds from my account for 8 more days, until I personally visited the main Trustmark office and spoke directly with the President of the bank. There was no reason given, nor a reasonable criterion for the funds to be held at the time of the deposit, much less for eight more day, according the Federal Re serve Guidelines 229.13 Exceptions ( under the section of Availability of Funds ). I have done business with Trustmark for almost thirty ye ars. These funds were not being deposited into a new account, and I have never had an overdraft or a redeposited check. There was " no reasonable cause to doubt collectibility. '' None of the other exceptions under this paragraph or its subsections apply, and the President of the bank could not give a reason for the hold having taken place. I not only was inconvenienced twice, but was also unable to pay off my mortgage with the funds I deposited without having to make a trip to the main branch and speak directly to the President of the bank. And, for eight days, Trustmark profited from my money. If I had not taken off work for a second day to resolve this issue, I have no idea how long they would have held my money hostage . I think that I have resolved the issue ; although, I have not seen my final bank statement, nor my mortgage statement. I plan to close my Trustmark account as soon as my pending transactions have been paid. Be forewarned. This is not the first problem I have had with Trustmark. On more than one o ccasion I have had funds misapplied or " lost. '' With these other small issues, I have resolved the problems and moved on without filing a complaint or changing banks, because changing banking institutions is quite inconvenient, but at some point, the consumer has to stand up and make a statement. If you have had a similar experience with Trustmark, I urge you to file a complaint. Please, keep a very close watch on your statements and deposit slips.

On XX/XX/XXXXmy wife contacted a XXXX ad for an apartment rental in the XXXX, XXXX area. Upon contacting the individual who posted the ad they posed a real estate agent in the area and had a 2 BR/2 BA apartment for rent for {$1900.00} per month and it was month to month. After initial communication with the real estate agent ( pretend ) we filled out a leasing application and lease agreement with the posing individual. At which point they confirmed via e-mail that they received the leasing information and would sent payment instructions. We were instructed to pay via wire since this was an out of state private owner as they called them prior. Once we received the wire instructions the funds were wired into the account on XX/XX/XXXX at approximately XXXX XXXX PST. After several hours, something was not feeling correct about the situation and we attempted to contact the " real estate agent '' and they did not answer the phone but called back and pretended to be XXXX the " property manager '' for the company. After being very suspicious we called another phone number for the realtor and were told they knew nothing about this apartment listed for rent. We immediately went to our banking institution and reported the fraud/scam. They attempted to stop the wire transfer and notify the other institution of the situation. This was reported at approximately XXXX XXXX PST which would be XXXX XXXX EST at the financial institution in XXXX which is Trustmark National Bank. We are not members of the bank however we did call them and notify them of the wire fraud. We spoke to the Security Department on the morning of Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX and informed them of the situation. There response to us was they were not sure they received the wire cancellation request and the money was withdrawn from the account at XXXX XXXX EST. It is hard to believe that the institution did not receive the request to not allow the withdrawal of the money. Local law enforcement was notified of the situation on Thursday XX/XX/XXXX and she has since been in contact with the bank. The institution has since closed the account. We had suggested to them on Wednesday that they look into the account and the large withdrawals and were told by the security department that its normal for people to go in daily and take large sums of money.

On XX/XX/2023, I authorized a one-time payment, in the amount of {$96.00}, with XXXX for Order # XXXX. The total amount of {$96.00} has been placed on hold with my financial institution : Trustmark. On XX/XX/2023, I was alerted to a second hold using the same Trustmark account for an additional and separate hold, in the amount of {$71.00} from the same merchant for the same items. I called my financial institution to dispute the transaction and request a reversal/release of a second hold that was not authorized. Initially, I was informed the second hold would fall off within 5 to 7 business days. I stated, " I need access to those funds immediately and didn't grant permission for an additional hold to be placed on the account in no form or fashion. '' Trustmark call center indicated the problem or issue was on the merchant 's side ; however, the merchant always indicates they only submit one authorization hold. I was later told to have the merchant fax an authorization release to the financial institution as Trustmark had no method to release the funds back into the account. I then traveled the nearest local branch of Trustmark in XXXX, TN XXXX. I had spoken with Vice President XXXX XXXX XXXX NMLS # XXXX, informing her I've had this happen on several occasions with other vendors as well. XXXX XXXX indicated several merchants practiced the same method and required the merchant to fax the authorization in. While within XXXX XXXX 's office I was in contact through telecommunications with XXXX explaining the placement of two holds when I only authorized one. In previous occurrences, XXXX provided documentation through email of only submitting one transaction request. I was on the phone with the merchant while also within the XXXX Trustmark branch so everything can be verified but XXXX XXXX suggested to return to the lobby to speak with the merchant due to not being able to discuss the situation while I was listening to the representative. Trustmark Bank failed to request the title from Bank XXXX XXXX after entering into the contract on XX/XX/2021 making my payments for more than a year I went to renew my license plate and the tax accessor informed me I could not renew without contacting my lender, I called the bank and was told they had no title and they were investigating the matter, for 5 weeks I've been kept in the dark and accused of being some part of the problem. This transaction, the paperwork and loan signing took 3 days, 3 different loan officers, who I was told " were in training " this file was " misplaced '' twice and the signing was rescheduled XXXX XX/XX/2021 I met with the seller XXXX XXXX, at Trustmark bank where he, XXXX XXXX, gave all the original lenders information, Bank XXXX XXXX, the loan officers name who handled his original sell address and telephone number along with every detail regarding the original loan. Trustmark also has XXXX XXXX contact information as well as mine of course. I have bought multiple vehicles and never have I been responsible for requesting and re titling any vehicle to include the new lien holder information, nor was I asked to this time. But after 28 years doing business with Trustmark and going to the branch monthly for 13 months never being notified of any problem, I am now kept in the dark about anything regarding the issue I've been told that this was my mistake, that XXXX XXXX had the title, this is not true. Bank XXXX XXXX never received the proper paperwork from TRUSTMARK therefore the title was sent to XXXX XXXX 3 months ago. XXXX has had the original title for more than 3 weeks and still the only information I've been given is that this is my fault not Trustmsrks and I will have to wait it out. I am now 5 weeks past my expiration on my license plate. Not to mention I am astonished and completely out of patience with the unprofessional behavior that Trustmark has exhibited not one apology has been offered. I do 0lan to hire an attorney at some point but I refuse to let this behavior go, so that Trustmark can continue to disregard others as tho we're not important unless our account holds XXXX figures.

On XXXX XX/XX/XXXX, at approximately XXXX XXXX eastern time, I called trust mark national bank based in Mississippi. I ask for mortgage forbearance due to financial hardship amidst COVID 19. I was immediately interrogated as to why I couldn't pay the loan. I explained that because of the Coronavirus, Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act ( CARES Act ) this allowed employers to defer the deposit and payment of the employer 's share of Social Security taxes. My pay had been significantly decreased. I also explained that my significant other had lost her job, leaving me to pay all the bills. The trust mark employee, XXXX XXXX, put me on hold. She returned and stated she would send me paperwork for loss mitigation. I asked if this loss mitigation was in regards to COVID financial hardship. She stated no and that it was something they did for individuals who had issues paying their mortgage. I stated I needed the help and could pay in about two months, but couldn't pay now. I asked if I filled out the paperwork and the results from the Trustmark on the loss mitigation paperwork didn't come back in time for payment would it be reported to the credit bureau? She stated it would most definitely be reported to the Credit bureau. I stated please send me the paperwork. I went home and did the necessary research to ensure that I qualified for the financial hardship mortgage relief act. It stated that VA backed loans qualified in reference to the CARES ACT. I called the Trustmark back and XXXX XXXX answered the phone again. I calmly explained that maybe I did not explain my situation properly. I gave her the details and the CARES act information. She stated I didn't qualify. I asked to speak with a supervisor, she stated he was on the phone. I told her I would wait until he got off. She hung up on me and sent me to his voicemail. During these troubling times I am taking care of two kids and my significant other. This is the last type of service that I thought I would receive after fighting for my country. Our complaint is about Trustmark Bank, XXXX XXXX Our parents created a living trust several years ago ; our mother passed away 4 1/2 years ago, then our father suffered a XXXX approximately 1 year ago and passed away a couple of weeks ago. The provisions of the trust allowed my brother and me to make all financial decisions ( power of attorney while he lived, co-trustees after his death ). Trustmark Bank has refused us access to the money which he had saved over many years, specifically saved to take care of him. They said " we do not accept '' trust documents. Documents which were notarized and filed with the court. We are fortunate that we had other financial resources and were able to care for him until his death. We went to the Trustmark branch in XXXX, XXXX after his XXXX approximately one year ago and received nothing but contempt, even though the terms of the trust allowed us to make decisions upon his incapacity. They acted like we were trying to steal his money -- highly insulting. We decided not to sue them since the amount of money was not significant. After his death my brother and I went to the same branch and received the same -- give us the trust documents ( which we have now submitted 4 times ). The lady refused to look at the trust documents, saying she had to get a ruling from " Legal ''. Note that the bank accepted his deposits under the terms of the trust, which were submitted at the time of account opening. When asked for a time frame, she said it might be several days or several weeks. Although we were fortunate to have financial resources to care for our father, now deceased, we are concerned about others who may not. We recommend a full investigation of all trust accounts accepted by Trustmark over the past 20 years. This is not an isolated incident ; I discussed our estate settlement with a friend who also said that Trustmark was the largest obstacle to settling his family 's estate.

I have a joint checking account with my husband at Trustmark Bank in XXXX. We have used this bank for many years and have never defaulted on the account in any way. After my debit card was denied on XXXX, I discovered that a large sum of money had been taken out of my account. After reporting this to the bank, it was discovered that a cash withdraw was made at a XXXX, XXXX branch. We have never used any XXXX bank, we never make large cash withdraws from checking. There were multiple red flags, yet the teller gave the individual our account number, our account available balance, and finally- all of our money was handed over to this toothless smiling thief. There is video of the person making the withdraw. I was told that the thief has a replica of my husband 's ID, with a different picture. I have trouble understanding this because my husband 's signature, height, birthdate, and race are all on his ID. This thief, whom was physically handed all of my money by my trusted bank, looks nothing like my husband. He is a different race, clearly the thief is older and taller. The signatures do not match. While I do feel that it is taking too long for my bank to refund my money and I want them to give me a better time line, I am satisfied that I will be reimbursed at some point. I can not believe that my bank let this happen, I have no trust in the security of the bank, their policies, or that this will not easily happen again. I want others to be aware of this situation. I want this to be investigated and for it to be explained how this is even possible. I question the intentions of the bank, and their employees. Clearly something huge is lacking in this organization that just simply hands over another 's hard earned money to a common thief so easily, with so many screaming red flags and no regard for their customers security or livlihood.

In XXXX, I overdrafted an account, XXXX, with Trustmark National Bank. The ovwrdrafted amount was aprox XXXX dollars. Truatmark aprox. One year later relayed the debt to lawyer, XXXX XXXX. I was sued and the judge awarded in Trustmark National Bank 's favor. XXXX attempted to seize funds from a new account I opened at XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX did Not authorize the transaction, so the XXXX account was in deficit for days, and then the transaction was revoked and my account went back to normal. Trustmark Bank 's lawyer, XXXX XXXX, still had not received payment. I told her, XXXX, to stop calling my phone number, she was very rude. Fast forward from XXXX to XXXX, I check my credit report on XX/XX/XXXX, and Truatmark National Bank has posted a credit inquiry that i DID NOT authorize. I called Trustmark 's 1800 number I was then directed to a XXXX XXXX. I contacted her, leaving voice mail until I received a call back on, XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) asked for my personal info, and after that she directed me to a, XXXX XXXX within Trustmark 's XXXX. XXXX XXXX told me on XX/XX/XXXX that I needed to call XXXX XXXX, in reference to my past due debt. XXXX stated that Trustmark can do credit inquiries any time as a stipulation of my debt. I was also told by XXXX that the only way to remove this inquiry was to contact XXXX XXXX. I asked XXXX why wasn't this debt charged to a collection agency and listed, as such, in my credit report. I was told again to contact XXXX XXXX, Trustmark 's lawyer Essentially I have a past debt with Trustmark National Bank. I have verbally stated to not be contacted, I have told lawyer not to call my phone. I would like to take this opportunity to address ongoing incidents that have left me scarred and disappointed with Trustmark and its management ; to include the manner they handle minority populations both ethnic and gender. One incident in particular that made me personally uncomfortable on my last visit to Trustmark 's office location on XXXX. During this process, I have not only been made to feel physically threatened, but I have been made to feel like I am a liar and a crook. Ive been told that my due to me amending my taxes per XXXX XXXX statement, the underwriter will think I am engaging in fraudulent activity. I am not a crook nor do I conduct myself in such a manner that one may infer that I am. I did have to amend my taxes, but that is not fraudulent nor illegal. This is an exercise recognized by US tax code. My CPA was not up for the task of filing complicated returns and I am not a tax professional, so corrections needed to be made. However the real question is why did my taxes meet the standards for the IRS but not the standards for Trustmark!? Mind you, Trustmark is a financial institution not an organization responsible for determining tax code ( tax return ) standards. The only conclusion I can make is race, gender bias and unfair lending practices. I would like to reiterate I applied for this HELOC around XX/XX/XXXX and I was strung along for nearly a year ( Trustmark gave me deadlines to submit documentation, but took extended time to review information & supply decisions ) & made to supply several documents throughout XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX that were accepted by Trustmark. I was given multiple approvals/interest lock in agreements with closing dates, only to be told after the loan closing expiration date, that I needed to supply more documents to close.

I received a call from my banker advising that my home equity line of credit payment would be increasing from interest only payments to 2 % of the balance effective XXXX XXXX. around XXXX XXXX due to a drop in my credit score. The following week I received a letter from the bank confirming the above mentioned. I ask the banker to see if I could retain the interest only status until I could examine what caused the drop in my credit score. Approximately 2 days later I was advised there would be no change in the actions taken. XXXX XXXX I sent a certified letter to the financial institution advising the effect and impact of raising my payment from {$190.00} to {$570.00}. The scheduled payments had never been late or missed. In addition to increasing my APR and payment on the line of credit my XXXX was also shut down and the APR increased, neither payment has never been late since inception. I did receive a response but not from the certified letter. The response stated that the bank exercised a clause allegedly in the HELOC that they did n't provide a copy of. This harsh unexpected increase will at some point send the products into default. The response went on to say the decision was n't because of late payments but rather an overall review of my credit report provided by the credit reporting agency XXXX. I did not authorize a review of my credit nor was it covered in the disclosures ( Unfair Deceptive Practices ) that a periodic review would be conducted that would grossly impact my ability to pay. In addition to the payment increase the rate was increased and as stated the accounts had never been late. Please help, I have confirmation of registered mail copies of the letters etc. Thanks

My vehicle was repossessed in XX/XX/XXXX. A complaint on deficiency was filed in the County Court of the First Judicial District of XXXX County, Mississippi against my grandfather, primary buyer and I the co-buyer. The Mississippi Statue of limitations on collecting on a debt is 1 year. A default judgement was entered on my grandfather on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. A writ of garnishment was issued against him on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Due to lack of knowledge of the fair debt collection practices act notice, I did not fight the summons I received on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. Which would have surpassed Mississippi State of Limitations on collection on a deficiency claim. A default judgement was then entered against me on XXXX XXXX, XXXX. A writ of garnishment was issued on me on XXXX XXXX, XXXX.they renewed the garnishment on XXXX of XXXX. I am being charged XXXX dollars for an escrow shortage that doesnt exist. I was notified of an escrow shortage of XXXX dollars from the mortgage company. I paid them XXXX dollars to fix the shortage and to put extra money in the account. However they stated that my mortgage was still going to go up to account for the shortage in the future which doesnt make sense since I paid the shortage. They stated that the insurance went up XXXX dollars from XXXX dollars a year to XXXX dollars a year ; this information is false. The insurance went up XXXX dollars a year from XXXX dollars to XXXX dollars. They claim that the last information they were aware of was insurance records from the XXXX when the insurance was XXXX dollars. However, according to their records, they mortgage company paid the XXXX dollar premium from XXXX. I am able to produce documents to prove it to them and they still will not change the increase in the mortgage. They claim that they made no mistake when they completed an escrow analysis. I was able to show them that they analysis the completed was incorrect and was compiled with the incorrect data. I requested a new escrow analysis with the correct information but they refused and are now charging me XXXX for a shortage that doesnt exist. I would like the VA to know this information and I would like the VA to fix this, since it is unjust.

Bank Fraud I believe I was defrauded in my dealing with a financial establishment what was at that time known as XXXX and located in XXXX, Alabama. XXXX XXXX has sense been acquired by a different financial organization, Trust Mark of Mississippi. In dealing with Bank XXXX, I borrowed so called " money '' and gave a promissory note with a house and land as a surety. I have sense found out Bank XXXX did not loan me any money. The money they said they loaned me was created by my signature on the note. Their fraudulent bookkeeping made it appear as if they loaned me money. Unknown to me at that time, my note was treated as if it was a cashier 's check and deposited in their " transaction account ''. The so called money was then taken out of this account and placed into my loan account. This created the fraud. They said they were loaning me money when it was my money, that I created with my signature! So, the bank " loaned '' me nothing. The bank risked nothing! I returned more than the money they gave me. They returned my note. They did not return the money they made on my note while it was in their possession. My note was a negotiable instrument and through fraudulent dealing with me they kept the money made on my note. I want complete disclosure of their dealing with me and return of ALL the money they made off my note.

Writ of Garnishment was issued for {$1200.00} of BANK FEES against me last month. Nine long years I worked there. I was locked in bank twice from working late but never paid overtime & they do this for bank fees. I still have all documentation & I'll be happy to send to anyone. My work was contacted by a XXXX XXXX from XXXX. My-co-worker answered the call and was told by this person that they were filing a civil suit against me for a debt. She gave my co-worker, XXXX XXXX, the case # XXXX. None of this information should have been shared and I suspect that this is even not a legitimate debt. After I called them back, I spoke to a man that claimed they were calling to tell me they are filing a civil suit for XXXX credit card which I have n't used in close to ten years. I advised this man of this, and he claimed he had 7 years to collect. I again re-iterated that I had not used this card in almost 10 years and began to tell him that I also took out a consumer loan to pay off the balance and other credit cards ... he interrupted me and yelled " If you shut your mouth ... XXXX '' I then stopped him right there and quit talking and hung up ''. I do believe this is also the same company that has called me before at work and would not even tell me who they were collecting a debt for. I had a CD with trustmark in XXXX XXXX and my dad and I both were on it. My dad went in and took out a loan and used it as collateral the loan officer let him take the paperwork out to get " me '' to sign it and forged my name. It happened XXXX different times with XXXX different signatures. I went to the main trustmark in XXXX and the legal team told me that my dad was getting a loan to put the money back in and I was basically screwed until then. I could not understand why my money could be tied up with me coming into the bank and signing. After the money was put back into my account I went into a trustmark location and got a cashiers check for the amount minus the fee to close out my cd early. The next day, XXXX/XXXX/2015, I get a phone call from trustmark and they state they are putting a stop payment on my cashiers check because my dad withdrew some money out of it and they gave me too much. I used the tool for managing my finances for my checking account and discovered that my account was missing money. The tool indicated that there was more income than income for the checking account than spending. The difference as of today according to the financial tool is a bit over XXXX dollars. I have proof of the spending and income according to the financial tool and proof of unknown transactions from the app. The photographs should show enough proof because of the date of the unknown transactions from this morning. Initially a construction loan through Trustmark National Bank ( land owned by us ) when we finished building the bank strong-armed us into an in-house loan product with a balloon paymnent due in 7 years. It was never explained to us why we were given this type of loan or why we didn't qualify for a conventional loan. We had qualified through another local bank for a FHA loan but went with XXXX due to our builder recommendation. We had a modification due to loss of job and this is when we learned of the in-house loan and not a FHA loan. I had applied for several federal programs to assist us since I was going back to school for XXXX but they weren't available to me due to our loan type. Even when the modification was given it was never explained to us that we had a balloon payment loan. I feel that we have been unfairly targeted because of race. On Tuesday, XX/XX/ at XXXX XXXX, I contacted XXXX Representative XXXX. Upon speaking with her, I informed her of two transactions ( {$6.00} & {$7.00} ) that included two Non-Sufficient Funds fees ( {$36.00} per transaction ). The fees was processed as an ACH. I informed her of an established agreement to opt out of overdraft protection when I first opened up my account. I have received an insurance check due to damages occurred during Hurricane Michael. The bank Trustmark Bank is holding those funds in a escrow account. After reviewing all credit reports ; A closed checking account with TrustMark Bank with a charge off balance of {$1200.00} on XX/XX/17 appeared. On Tuesday, XXXX XXXX, my XXXX year old father was contacted by someone saying that they had legal proceedings against me. My father only has a cell phone and lives on the other side of the country from me so I have no idea how they were able to contact him. XXXX Bank charged me {$10.00} plus interest at 19 % for an overdraft of {$0.00}. I have been with this bank from the 1950 's when it was XXXX XXXX XXXX For most of that time I have had an overdraft LOC. I have not used it in years. When I last used it, I was much poorer than I am now and was NEVER charged a fee for using it. Now they have instituted the fee without any notification that I can recall. It is not a lot of money but I think this fee is uncalled for. I have requested a refund and so far have been denied. Over the weekend i receive 2 notices from 2 different banks that one account was open and the account is opt to receive over draft protection from Trustmark bank check account ending in XXXX. It turns out the companies account was hacked and a fraudulent email was sent requesting payment to this account. as the beneficiary name was not a match the funds should have been returned and not delivered. the bank has to take responsibility to verify the company name just like on a check. My bank can not pull back the money without the receiving bank sending it. this is fraud and Trustmark Bank should have flagged it and not paid it.
