I received a personal loan through Town Financial in XXXX XXXX, IA in or around approximately XX/XX/XXXX, I paid each month, then qualified for another {$800.00} loan to extend original loan out, this was approximately around XX/XX/XXXX, this was to extend out my loan and be paid off in 24 months. I have been paying $ XXXX {$140.00} each month and have had a couple of late payments. The loan should have been paid off entirely at least 6 months ago. XX/XX/XXXX I was told I had XXXX balance, I have paid over {$900.00} since then. Town Finance harasses me ( I have phone records, voicemails and bank receipts/statements ) at least 5 times per month by calling me for days on end consecutively leaving messages stating they need a payment. I have requested my original and 2nd loan original documents be mailed/emailed to me and was told they would be as well as documentation of each of my payments. Town Finance has never provided this documentation to me after more than 1 request to do so. This company is a complete scam and takes advantage of the working poor and middle class. After complaining most recently to the Iowa Attorney Generals Office regarding Town Finance, ironically, I received a notice in the mail from Town Finance stating that they did an internal audit and have found that I have a balance due of XXXX and if I feel it to be any different to contact them. I do not owe anything, and in fact, they owe me money for overpaying and for fraudulent loan/business practices. I really feel that this company is really misleading in loans offered, interests rates on loans, late payment fees, and have been paid 2 times the amount of my loans that I owed. I want copies of my loan documents and want XXXX back that they owe me. Please help me and others to eliminate Town Finance from being able to prey on people any longer.

I got a loan because my car needed fixed for originally XXXX, they called me 2 months later and asked if I wanted to up my loan to XXXX and theyll send me the extra XXXX and I can skip a payment. I agreed however when it popped up on my credit the loan was XXXX instead of the agreed amount of XXXX I called them and asked why my loan was so much and they stated that every year it gained interest and if I kept making the minimum payment amount which is my monthly payment, I would pay XXXX. That I can only pay XXXX if I pay it off before a year

Company waited almost 4 yrs between notifications and started garnish my wages again for an amount still collecting intrest. Or figure out an amount to settle on that us around the amount of the original loan amount. Dont think I should have to pay anything then what I have already paid considering the company waited so long between garnishment
