I recently purchased a new home. The title company that I utilized had their server compromised during the transaction. In turn, a hacker intercepted my closing disclosure and wiring instructions. They spoofed the email and sent fraudulent wiring instructions. When this occurred I wired my cash to close to a fraudulent bank account. I immediately initiated a wire recall but it was unsuccessful.
