On or about XXXX my, now wife ( not my wife at the time ) took a personal loan out with XXXX XXXX in the amount of {$1000.00}. Yes was unable to pay the debt and they received a judgement in the amount of XXXX in XXXX ( approx XXXX for the amount owed and XXXX in attorney fees with 10 percent post judgement interest. In XXXX the company hired an attorney Nicole Hillman. She collected XXXX of the principle balance and which was applied to he underlying debt. Towards the end of XXXX requested my wife call to settle the matter we offered XXXXthe balance of what was owed with attorney fees and XXXX XXXX refused to discuss the matter and informed her she owed XXXX. This is unreasonable in any circumstance. Last week this individual garnished my checking that I put my wife 's name on for XXXX. Which I have no idea where she came up with the amount. I have been calling for the last week and a half and she has not answered, returned a call or responded via email. She has sent no verification of debt or anything within 5 business days that expanded to me my rights and what is exempt and or not exempt by law. My bank has also reached out to her and she has not responded to them. We have also reached out to the court to get her to respond. It is unfair for a {$1000.00} debt to become a {$4500.00} item ( XXXX plus the XXXX she has already collected ). It is unfair for an agent of a company to misrepresent the amount of the debt and to freeze accounts especially when you have children to feed and bills to pay. She has provided no back up showing how it is possible for XXXX in debt to become XXXX in debt. And she has been avoiding the conversation and unduly causing harm and stress in a matter.

Attorney Nicole Hillman submitting 5 year old documents posing as IRS Tax Lien to garnish personal bank accounts more specifically my government unemployment funds. XX/XX/2020 XXXX XXXX Chairman and CEO, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, VA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Texas XXXX Re : XXXX XXXX Personal Banking Garnishment Mr. XXXX : Regarding this matter first and foremost this is not my debt. I have spoken with this Attorney XXXX and reported in writing to XXXX County Courts that this is not my debt and of which I have no knowledge of until XXXX submitted documents to my bank. Per my attorney XXXX XXXX is also reporting this garnishment as an IRS Tax Lien of which it is not which concerns me as to how this garnishment was reported to XXXX XXXX as deceptive which violates federal law ( FDCPA ) as I do not have any IRS Tax Liens. Secondly, as my financial institution I should have been given notice of this garnishment. As currently unemployed my current deposits are from protected government unemployment benefits which are exempt from such. XXXX XXXX must turn over and/or release those funds immediately. I have filed a police report and as well as reporting this matter to the Texas Attorney General Offices. I find it frightening that someone can submit paperwork without verification and the bank honors it without verifying the legitimacy. Please release my unemployment funds immediately. XXXX XXXX XXXX Cc, FTC, Texas Attorney General, XXXX County Police Department.
