I received a loan for the amount of {$1500.00} from Capital Good Fund on XXXX XXXX XXXX This company appears on its website as if they are helping XXXX with lower interest rates for loans which is not true. They are using and XXXX XXXX. I sent them an email in XXXX and asked for payment deferral to XXXX. They charged my account for XXXX and XXXX in the beginning of XXXX. I was in the process of moving and I applied for a mortgage. Then I realized that Capital Good Fund put a derogatory mark on my credit as if I had a pastdue balance for 2 months whereas I had no pastdue balance. I got denied for mortgage. I could not apply for rental apartments when my credit score fell XXXX points down due to this incorrect reporting by this company that was supposed to be helping XXXX I spent a lot of time with disputes and complaints for 3 weeks. After 3 weeks of stress and complaining, the negative comment on my credit was deleted and their representative sent me an apology email. An apology email is NOT enough for ruining my plans. I ended up paying {$250.00} more rent every month because of this company. I demanded them to waive the remaining balance which is around {$1100.00} for their negligence that affected my life severely. But they refused. I will not make any future payments to this company that destroyed my plans and my economic situation. If I am paying {$250.00} more rent every month because of this company, they are liable more than just a simple apology.

I got a personal loan for {$1500.00} from Capital Good Fund. This company shows itself as if they're non profit and they work to help immigrants but it's not true. I was negatively affected by natural disaster in XXXX XXXX on XXXX XXXX, 2023 so I reached out to them to defer payment till XXXX. They charged me twice at the beginning of this month and I paid {$210.00}. I have NO past-due balance with them. I got an alert from credit bureaus on Friday stating that this company reported me as past-due and my credit score dropped XXXX points! I am in the process of moving. I was going to apply for an apartment tomorrow. Because of their unethical, inhumane and wrong reporting, my life is very negatively affected. I can't rent any apartment without security deposit now. I don't even know if they will accept me because my score dropped huge. This company violated my rights and they have to be held accountable. Moreover, they need to be investigated for bad business practices targeting vulnerable immigrants.

Soo this review is on XX/XX/2019, not only have I tried on multiple occasions to get a loan even for the lowest amount and I was told that I wouldnt be able to pay it back because I didnt have enough income. Even with the proof that I received not only more than the loan I was requesting, but even the interest. Then they said it was my payment history, clear as day I have auto pay for the simple things and as far as rent I took pictures of my receipts but yet I got denied. Ive tried to get the help from capital good fund at least 4 different times in the course of 2 years and every time no luck. Ive even suggested a couple of friends who came across hard times and yet no luck and they definitely have had the income and pay history to qualify but they also have gotten denied. But yet we question who do they REALLY help? Possibly their own kind. Where do the funds go if they arent truly helping people?

I have had multiple loans with Capital Goodfunds! My loan that was originated XX/XX/2019 they have reported XXXX late payments!
I have email correspondence with the company to skip a XXXX payment and pay the loan in full in XX/XX/2019! At no time during our conversation did anyone say this would result in a late payment, as I have skipped payments with them multiple times in the past on other loans! They had originally reported XXXX late payment, I disputed it then they reported XXXX late payments!
When I contacted the company she said I had XXXX late payments, XXXX late payment for XXXX loans, not XXXX late payments for XXXX loan! I sent her all correspondence emails from 2019 confirmation that they skipped the payment to pay in full in XX/XX/2019!
At this point the company is still not removing these inaccurate late payments or acknowledging its their internal error!
