I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to pay {$79.00} debt. Then they tried to say I had over {$2500.00} in debt. I asked them to prove my debt by telling me what it is and mail it to me. Then they said they forgave my debt, removed it and only charged me {$79.00}. This XXXX said my debt has been erased and they gave me back all of the {$250.00}. Well, I called my bank and they said they took all XXXX! I asked XXXX again from this so called debt agency to mail me a copy of all my debt I owed. She asked why did I need it, if they dropped all of it? She put me on hold and never came back. I recorded the WHOLE. Conversations! I let her know that, she started freaking out my doctors office, XXXX, the radiologist that this bill Supposedly came from, they said is not real. They said I do not owe any money because of the fact I have Medicaid and they dont charge anything. The radiologist want to see copies of what I/ supposedly came from, they said it is not real. They said I do not owe any money because of the fact I have Medicaid and they dont charge anything. The radiologist went to see copies of what I owe. I told her this. She would not comply. I have proof they put a false {$79.00} charge on my credit! They tried to get me to call this fake number - XXXX, this is NOT XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX its a XXXX number. I called the real number and they saw I am a patient, but I owe NOTHING! They said I need to report this fraud! Why offer to drop my debt and give my money back, if I really owed money?!? They put this on my credit report, making it drop over 45 points on purpose. By making it XXXX hoping I would pay it, but can not provide my bill because there is no bill. This needs to be taken on my credit report. Its a scam! This happened today. They put it on my credit report XX/XX/2019. Saying its from 4years 10 months ago. ( Not possible to have XXXX in charges, Illinois Medicaid does not charge a deductible ) XXXX said they gave back the money, but XXXX said the stole it. I have her recorded on video, it shows her number, me calling and her saying shes taking this debt off my credit report and giving the XXXX all back. I can play it to anyone that wants to hear it.

I began attending a class at XXXX XXXX which was to be the final course for my degree ( s ). At week 5 of the course, only 1 assignment had been graded, which was a discussion board assignment, for which I only received 50 %. This has absolutely never happened throughout my entire college career as my discussion boards are always graded very high, usually at 100 %. I reached out to the instructor to inquire as to why I had been graded so poorly so that I could make improvements in the future. I never received a response. I further inquired as to my standing in the course as none of my other work had been completed either. This communication was not responded to either. I then called XXXX XXXX directly. The lady who answered transferred me to a voicemail, and that message was not answered. Due to these circumstances, I did not continue attending. XXXX is now attempting to hold me liable for the balance from this term and has sent my account to a collection agency, T-H Professional & Medical Collections. In XXXX, 2018, I contacted XXXX and informed them that I wished to formally dispute this account due to the above stated situation. Their version of an " investigation '' included obtaining a detailed billing from XXXX XXXX and speaking with XXXX to verify that XXXX believes I owe this debt. This is not an investigation. The mere fact that XXXX asserts that I owe this debt does not make it valid. The FCRA requires that the credit reporting agency VALIDATE a debt as accurate prior to reporting it on a consumer 's credit report. This burden has not been met by merely asking the original creditor whether, or not, they wish to continue collection on a debt.

The debt collector sued me in circuit court and I filed an appearance and a trial date was set. While I was away the debt collector sent my wife a summons to appear for the same case and when she did not appear - the debt collector asked for and received a default judgement that I successfully got vacated. This debt originated from unpaid medical claims by an insurance company and I had to enlist the aid of the Illinois Insurance Commissioner to compel them to pay the claims. This took over a year but the insurance company paid on the claims. The judgement amount the debt collector sought to get from the default judgement did not take into account the payments made by the insurance company even though they were aware of the payments that were made. When asked about the payments the debt collector stated " I have a judgement '' ; however the judge vacated that judgement and the judgement amount was reduced. Has I not sought to have the judgement vacated the debt collector would have sought to collect the entire amount of the judgement knowing that at least half the amount they were seeking had been paid already by the insurance company. The debt collector verbally agreed to a payment agreement but sent a form - not filed in the court too late for me to comply with the terms of the agreement. The debt collector then filed the agreement with the court 5 days after the payment was due and then filed a Wage Deduction Notice with the court and sent a copy to an employer that I have contractual relationships with damaging my professional reputation. I am now in the process of disputing the wage attachment, but the damage has been done.

Without any formal notification or opportunity for dispute, a {$5000.00} medical bill for my deceased son appeared on my credit reports as a collection account. Upon discovering this information on XX/XX/2018, I reached out to the original creditor, XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). They indicated they would recall the account from the collection agency as there was a billing error. I contacted TH Professional & Medical Collections ( TH ) that same day and informed them that XXXX recalling the account. XXXX also contacted TH that same day to verify this information. I then followed up with TH again on XX/XX/2018 as the account was still reporting to my credit reports. I was assured that information had already been sent to the credit bureau ( s ) to completely remove the account from my credit report ( s ). I have credit monitoring with all three ( 3 ) bureaus and refresh my reports daily. As of the date of this complaint, this account remains on reports in error and is having a serious derogatory impact on my score ( s ) as it is the only collection account reported to any of the bureaus. I need this account removed ASAP so that my credit will be restored to its correct, positive, state.

I paid Account number XXXX in the amount of {$60.00} using my debit card and received confirmation number XXXX from her. After reviewing my credit report today, I should that they are still reporting Account XXXX and XXXX A as not being paid. When I spoke with the company, they told me that the payment that I made had been applied to an old account th at was 15 years old and t hey could not make any adjustment. When I called in and spoke with XXXX , I specifically told her what I wanted to pay and thought that the payment was being applied to these XXXX accounts. At no time did I approve a payment to be applied to an account that wa s 15 years old.

XXXX., Monday, XX/XX/XXXX15I was just at my desk and received a telephone call from a medical collection agency XXXX regarding an account I have had with them since XX/XX/XXXX this year. I was asked initially to verify my date of birth, which I did not do immediately. When I asked for the identity of the person calling me, the lady on the telephone responded with asking me the same question about my date of birth. I refused again, stating that I was not trying to be rude but did not feel this type of call to me at my place of employment was appropriate for them to contact me. The lady then asked to be transferred to the XXXX XXXX department of my employer. I did give her the general telephone number to call but did not transfer her. I also did verify my date of birth to her, although I am sure she had that information on her computer screen in front of her. The telephone number that showed up on my caller ID is ( XXXX XXXX.

Called my work number. When I told them that they were not to call the main number of work or call me at work, they told me that they could call anytime to verify employment because they were going to file a suit against me for XXXX. I asked them why they were filing a suit if I was giving them my hsa card information for payment. They said I had given them my debit card and it did n't go through, and I told them it got eaten by the ATM, which it did and I was waiting for a new card. Then she proceeded to say she had to have the XXXX by XX/XX/XXXX but then " spoke to her supervisor '' and could postpone it a week. Ridiculous!

TH Professional put XXXX collections on my Credit Report and when I called to ask why they said some new debts came through. I stated that I had not received a bill so why are they putting collections in my Credit report. They said they would send me copies of the debt. I received a letter from them indicating the amounts they said I owed but there was no date of service and no patient name. I did not receive a notice of right to dispute in the letter - so I sent them one back disputing the debt and asking for additional information ( i.e. dates of service and patient name ).

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a phone call from ( XXXX ) XXXX on my personal cell phone. I didnt recognize the number so I didnt answer. They did NOT leave a voicemail. Moments later the same number called my work and women on the phone explained that she was trying to collect a medical debt. I explained that I can not receive calls at work and she needed to contact me at home. I then hung up the phone. She called back immediately and asked to speak to the HR department. I told her she was out of line and hung up on her again.

I do not believe the amount being charged is correct. Over the amount agreed upon. Insurance should have covered the amount. They must have way over charged for service if amount is correct on their end. There isnt any itemized service charges attached to bill. No itemized bill for all consumables used or itemized charges for services. I have no idea what its for specifically. So XXXX cant dispute what insurance has paid vs what may still be owed.

I looked on my credit report and noticed that there is alleged debt that hasnt been validated placed on my credit report.. I do not owe any debt and this alleged debt is being advertised on my credit report to force me to pay this alleged debt. This debt collector is civilly and criminally in violation of the FDCPA laws. I have attached documents in hope to get this issue resolved or i will be seeking litigation.
