XXXX XXXX is owed, and been blocked from accessing, and receiving his medical paperwork from Tesla Clinic. In process of debt collection, seeking service and contract for worker 's compensation benefits ( from injury while working at Tesla and requiring augmented work schedule, receiving treatment at Tesla Clinic for that injury, and still unhealed from that injury happening on XXXX, overtime, XXXX. XXXX XXXX contacted a variety of personnel, including security personnel, to figure out what the issue is in accessing his own medical records, from injury from working at Tesla, and receiving treatment at Tesla clinic ( while requiring augmented work schedule ), and has yet to provide a solution. This behavior is especially problematic in context of both XXXX XXXX, and XXXX " engaging in repeated, and discriminatory refusal of service in context of debt collection, as well as service and a XXXX man, and injured workers right to contract regarding workers compensation ( from injury while working at Tesla. Because of their own 100+ Unruh violations they are incurring their own debt owed XXXX XXXX XXXX per CA Unruh statutory minimums alone of $ XXXX {>= $1,000,000}, not including 1981, per their discriminatory refusal of contract, and services. XXXX XXXX XXXX has an affirmative duty to serve all persons, and injured workers who contract with them ( as instructed by State of California, and joint employers ) when holding itself out as a public accommodation business, and in California all California residents per Unruh. They are violating that duty by unjustly, and without basis refusing service to XXXX XXXX ( an injured worker, and Citizen ). XXXX people have an affirmative right to contract protected under 1981, and Unruh, as well as elsewhere ( that had to affirmatively be put into Federal Statute due to the unjust practices in our Country like those exhibited by XXXX XXXX ). XXXX XXXX publicly pronounces that it provides workers compensation service to all interested customers and seeks the public 's business. Plaintiff, XXXX XXXX XXXX, a self disclosed, and acknowledged XXXX man sought, and used, XXXX XXXX services, an enterprise affected with the public interests service from this public accommodation business, and speaking directly with their representatives on multiple occasions. XXXX XXXX was treated in a differential, substandard, and intentionally discriminatory manner in comparison to nearly every other customer, and injured worker. See Stringer v. Combe , Inc., XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ) ( violation of 42 U.S.C. 1981, which guarantees that [ A ] ll persons shall have the same rights to make and enforce contracts as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX citizens ). Unfortunately, defendant XXXX XXXX intentionally discriminated against XXXX XXXX, a XXXX man who is also recovering from injury due to being injured while working at Tesla, under Federal, and State law ( including violating Unruh Civil Rights Act ( Civ.Code, 51, 52 ) ). Denial of service ( private or public ) is a fundamental, textbook, example of discrimination, and cognizable harm. XXXX XXXX. XXXX? XXXX ( XXXX XXXX only pies ) ; https : XXXX? See Enlow v. Salem-Keizer Yellow Cab Co. , Inc. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX. See Allen v. U.S. Bancorp, XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX. XXXX ) ( outright denial of services is certainly a sufficient basis for finding a 1981 violation ) See e.g. Allen v. XXXX XXXX specific Intentional Discriminatory conduct to refuse, deny, and block service to Plaintiff, a self disclosed XXXX man, for purpose of depriving his Constitutional rights ( i.e. right to contract under 42 USC section 1981, and Unruh ), which independently violates public policy, and is seperate conduct from normal business practice in receipt of workers compensation benefits from injuries at Tesla, creates liability. Id. at 1406-07. Here, plaintiff alleges that defendant denied benefits on the basis of plaintiff 's race and gender. Taken as true, defendant 's conduct constitutes a violation of California civil code section 51. Plaintiff 's other causes of action, with the exception of defamation, are all based on defendant 's alleged discriminatory conduct and thus arise out of conduct that implicates a fundamental public policy. Since XX/XX/XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX it malfunctioned and succumbed into a ditch causing a pending charge in which we are fighting, XXXX the mirrors started to turn inside out during driving causing me to almost get into accident. There car was then serviced and paid approx. This is where the car has been out of commissioned since XX/XX/XXXX until this day of this notation XX/XX/XXXX with no indication of it being able to move or be drivable at this time. I am a XXXX woman and I have tried in every way shape and form to restore the Tesla back to its original state upon leasing it on XX/XX/XXXX and it has yet since driving it off the lot been the same and due to its inability to drive and being beyond repair its considered to be non-repairable and immovable and is within the manufactures warranty to be replaced with another tesla vehicle that is operating to full vehicular capacity. In continuation I am writing I am writing once again because I am a XXXX XXXX/and XXXX small business owner who is suffering greatly not just due to the pandemic but to the onset of non-repairable damages, hacks, infiltrations and consumer rights along with civil rights neglect that I have continuously received from Tesla regarding this vehicle, its return and replacement as according to the statutes outlined it the lemon law of California and Arizona. The Tesla model 3 vehicle is currently stationary non movable at XXXX XXXX despite my various efforts of getting it out of their non authorized possession to enable additional fees in charges in which The XXXX XXXX are unliable for and not fully currently aware as calls made to the established are never answered. According to the lemon law of the states of California and of the statee of Arizona the law state in Arizona Law 44-1262. As a corporation that used the vehicle for transport we have suffered huge economic setbacks and have had to forfeit several opportunities due to the lack of response and cooperation with the parties that are involved. The tow yard located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, AZ XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXhas refused to release the car in my possession so that it can at least be in an area not assessing fees which are a non liability at this point and time. We are concerned for the status of the vehicle and the replacement of the vehicle and are demanding response and rectification from Tesla motors effective immediately. I expect a reply asap regarding this matter the cost at the tow yard are not in my subjection as I have repeatedly informed Tesla to tow the vehicle out of the impound so that it can stop accessing charges. The impound yard is being involved in this dispute as they have the vehicle and have not released it against my many efforts. we are seeking replacement vehichle that is operatating as this vehicle is inoperatable and completely compromised and not receptive to repair, however daily tesla motor services is continuously texting me for lease payments with the pure intention of collecting a debt however they are a motor vehicle distribution agency and it is harassing in nature and detrimental in nature as we are looking for a means of restitution so that we can move on with and continue to conduct business as per usual. P.S.THE VEHICLE IS UNDER WARRANTY AND TESLA IS IN FULL VIOLATION OF THEIR OWN RULES AND REGULATIONS WHICH ARE ATTACHED IN THIS EMAIL. WE ARE SEEKING RESTITUTION AND EMOTIONAL AS WELL AS PHYSICAL DAMAGES DUE TO THE LEVEL OF INEFFECTIVE AND ABUSIVE LEVEL OF SERVICE AND DESTRUCTIVE AND NEGLIGENT RESPONSE AND RECONCILIATION.

On Friday XX/XX/XXXX, My wife and I applied for an auto loan for a new 2023 Tesla Model Y with XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX and other lenders to see where I can get the best rate. My wife works for XXXX XXXX XXXX. The loan was done via online and then we got the chance to speak to a Loan officer named XXXX XXXX. No relation to me. She explained that we got approved for the loan. I told her that the delivery date for the Tesla was Saturday XX/XX/XXXX, pending inspection of vehicle and taking delivery of vehicle of course. I wanted to lock rate so she sent us the loan documents to sign. I read the terms and conditions and expectation was that the loan would be funded at delivery of vehicle to my wife and I. I also had other pre-approvals so we had options on who we were going to go with. XXXX never expressed or explained that by signing the loan docs that we were agreeing to fund the loan prior to driving the vehicle, inspecting the vehicle or even signing the Purchase Agreement with Tesla to finalize the purchase of the vehicle. In previous experiences once we sign the loan documents we either receive a cashiers check or paperwork to then go to dealer to finalize purchase price, warranties, etc .... Long story short, we had an emergency and could not take delivery of vehicle. I contacted Tesla to reschedule. They mentioned there was no problem and they would just release the vehicle to next buyer and that I would have to wait for next vehicle. I was in no rush. My son 's health was more important to me at that time. Plus from my understanding an approval from bank was good for 30 days. So Monday XX/XX/XXXX I open my XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX application to send a XXXX payment and I noticed an auto loan reflecting for the amount of {$50000.00}. I assumed it was a mistake so I contacted XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to let them know that the loan was reflecting on my app. They inform me that the loan was funded. I questioned how? I told them I never received delivery of vehicle. I also never got the chance to go to dealer and finalize the purchase agreement with them etc. They claimed that a signed purchase agreement was not necessary because I signed the loan documents. I was confused because loan documents are one thing and agreement with dealer is another. So basically they funded an unsecured loan since I did not have a vehicle in my possession. They said all they could do was submit to cancel the loan and that my wife and I would need to re-apply again which I found to be disheartening since we already had applied and didn't want to continue to submit inquiries on our credit report. I asked if the loan would appear on our credit report and they said that it would show as an open loan and then a closed loan. In doing so that would affect our credit score even more. I asked them why they would have a process that seemed backwards and why the rush in funding a loan? They said that because its digital that thats how their process is. I said then you should have made it clear not to sign the loan documents until after I take delivery of the vehicle because on the contract all it stated was the terms of the loan and conditions but from my understanding and previous experiences that would take place after delivery of the vehicle not prior. Tesla had set their expectations as well. Anyways, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX then said I had to call Tesla which I did and that they had to return the money. Tesla said the loan should have never been funded and they would email a specific department. Then they said I had to speak to XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to cancel the loan. Got a hold of the Auto Ops department on Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX and they said that they will cancel the loan and it will take up to 7 days. I asked why the loan wasn't canceled on the XXXX since that was when I communicated with the loan officer and they said they did not see that she had canceled the loan. Now we are just in a bad predicament and feel like everything was rushed, not sure if it was done to reach end of month quota but the optics of everything feels that way. We have never experienced anything like this before. I have the non singed purchase agreement from Tesla. I have the signed loan docs from XXXX XXXX XXXX which to our understanding was to ensure we locked the rate and expressed loan rate, months etc at time of vehicle delivery. I called XXXX on Wednesday XX/XX/XXXX and expressed that I wanted to escalate the situation. I received a call from a supervisor 2 days later which was this morning. No urgency. He gave me same excuses on how their process is. I explained that their process seems to hurt consumers. It does not protect them. For example, rushing to funds a {$50000.00} loan to a dealer, a private party etc without a customer having the vehicle in possession may cause harm and loss of funds to borrower. In no way, shape or form should a loan be funded without a final signed purchase agreement or at least without the delivery of the vehicle. In doing so, you're putting the consumer in a forced situation to take delivery of the vehicle because if they do not then their loan which should not have been funded prematurely will be closed and they will have to re-apply again. This process and experience has caused a lot of XXXX. Has put us in a situation where our credit score may be greatly affected and the ability to continue with the purchase of the vehicle ( which we are waiting on next vehicle ) may be compromised if our credit report reflects a recently opened auto loan or our score drops affecting other pre-approvals that we currently have. This process needs to change. It should be tailored to protect their customers and not put them in difficult financial situation. It should make the purchase of a new vehicle seamless and not confusing and non traditional. We would receive a cashiers check and had purchase power when negotiating with a dealer when we signed loan docs. In this digital age it seems as if they are putting the carriage before the horse. If it is digital then they should give us the ability to inspect vehicle , drive it, accept the delivery of it and finalize everything with dealer. At that point the loan can get funded digitally just like they want. Lets change this process and protect borrowers. Not hurt them.

In brief, Tesla is claiming that I owe them {$7200.00} and I believe this is a violation of unfair business practices, fraud, and misrepresentation. ( This list is not exhaustive ). The main issues are as follows : Tesla failed to correctly effectuate the lease termination process and transmit information ; Teslas employees misrepresented material facts ; ( I have direct proof ) Teslas employees failed to disclose material facts ; Tesla 's misrepresentation influenced my decision to terminate the lease ; and I reasonably relied upon Teslas representations to my detriment. On XX/XX/2023, I received a quote from Tesla indicating that there would be a {$0.00} balance due upon returning the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX to Tesla before XX/XX/2023. Detrimentally relying on this information, I returned the vehicle on XX/XX/2023 and took possession of my new XXXX XXXX Tesla. More importantly, between XX/XX/2023 and XX/XX/2023, there was no communication or mentioning from Tesla indicating that there would be an any Early Termination Fee and there was no estimate of {$7200.00} included in the quote that would be due upon returning this vehicle. An estimate gives you a rough idea of what the costs or fees would be due before you make an informed or finalized decision. In like manner, an estimate quote is supposed to be nearby an actual quote. As can be seen, the fee of {$7200.00} is completely obstructive and not nearly estimated in comparison to the approximate calculation of the {$0.00} quote that I was originally provided. On top of this, I have a public audio recording that took place inside of the lobby of the Tesla Delivery Center located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX wherein the employees ( Name : XXXX ) of Tesla made statements on behalf of material facts regarding this {$7200.00} bill that I received. Specifically, in the recording I have direct evidence that Teslas employees instructed me verbatim to ignore the emails from Tesla regarding the {$7200.00} amount owed and that I did not have to make any further payments on the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX because I returned the vehicle before XX/XX/2023. I was also informed by Teslas employees that there were no fees for returning the vehicle and that it takes time for Tesla to update their records. Please be advised that my cell phone somehow inadvertently recorded this conversation with the employees of the Tesla Delivery Center. However, this recording does explicitly support my statements of Teslas employees misrepresentation. This conversation was public and was not intended to be confidential. Teslas early termination process was not effectuated properly on XX/XX/2023. To explain, when I returned the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX to the XXXX XXXX XXXX located in XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA, Tesla, its agents, servants, and/or employees failed to complete all the steps of the termination process. To point out, I requested that an employee of Tesla conduct an inspection process on the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX on the spot to confirm that there were no excessive damages to the vehicle and that I would be released of liability, the Tesla employees failed to complete this step of the termination process. In exact words, I was told by XXXX that he looked up my account and it showed that I would be released from all liability and that I did not owe a XXXX on the vehicle or lease. Precisely, I asked employee XXXX to confirm that no excessive fees or costs would be added to my account, and he said that I no longer had to pay for anything in relation to the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX. In the automobile industry, Tesla has gained clout by highlighting the perks of leasing/owning Tesla vehicles ; however, pursuant to complaints submitted to the Department of Consumer Affairs reports , Tesla leasees around the world have been defrauded on behalf terminating their leases with Tesla due to their employees misrepresentations and improper business practices. This conduct highly conflicts with the stainless reputation Tesla has succeeded in portraying to the public. In accordance with custom and usage in automobile industry, any reasonable car dealership would have conducted an inspection on the vehicle being returned in the presence of the customer and provided an assessment to the customer of any and all costs associated with terminating the lease, if any. I would NOT have handed the keys over for the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX if I had known or been properly informed by Teslas employees that there was an excessive fee of {$7200.00} due. Again, I asked XXXX if there would be any termination fees and he assured me that I would not be charged any termination fees or costs and that I did not owe anything. Therefore, I believe the doctrine of promissory estoppel can be justly applied. I am demanding Tesla to permanently remove the whole amount due of {$7200.00} from my account, and any other charges, fees, or costs associated with the XXXX XXXX Tesla XXXX : XXXX forthwith without any penalties.

I have had a horrible experience with Tesla and their team in the past couple of days. My family purchased our new car a couple months ago and was enjoying it up until a few days ago when I tried to get the car into gear and it demanded that I input the password. Having not set up a password previously, I contacted Tesla about the issue. While I was waiting to speak with a representative, I noticed that my car was no longer linked to my account on the app, nor could I log into my Tesla account. After waiting on hold for two hours, I was finally able to get through to a representative who informed me that I needed to contact Tesla Financial about this issue. I called the number provided immediately but they did not pick up as they were outside of working hours. Not a problem. I thought. Id call back again tomorrow and sort this out. I left my car in the parking lot at work overnight and had a family member pick me up and drop me off the next morning. While Im working the next day, my boss informs me that there is a tow truck outside to tow my car. Confused, I went out to the parking lot and was told by the towing company that Tesla is repossessing my vehicle. This is where my confusion grew. We had paid for the vehicle IN FULL at the time we picked it up from the dealership, but the towing company is just doing what tesla told them to do. so they took my car. Shortly afterward, my father received a phone call from Tesla Financial and he asked them what was going on. They told him that Tesla had been trying to reach out to us multiple times through phone and email about a debt they have been attempting to collect on the car. My father had been out of the country for the past couple months so any phone calls would not have reached him. He did not receive a single voicemail about this issue either. He looked through his emails and noticed that he did in fact receive only two emails on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX, stating that we had not yet paid for the car and that the full cost of the vehicle is still at large. These emails went ignored as he believed them to be a phishing attempt because we had already PAID IN FULL at the dealership. He also believed that Tesla could not have made such a huge mistake like this. My XXXX explained this over the phone but the representative did not budge. This Tesla representative was rude and unprofessional for the entire phone callgoing so far as to yell at my father over the phone. A different Tesla representative sent us an email that seemed to be a copy paste of what they had sent my father back in XXXX and that this car is now being considered for repossession. I shot an email back explaining AGAIN that this car had been paid for in full already and that we have been very dissatisfied by how Tesla had been handling this situation. Up until this point, we were under the impression that Tesla was repossessing our vehicle without any warning because the two emails they sent to us regarding this seemed to be a phishing scam. Again they left no voicemails about this either. The Tesla representative then emailed back this statement : I am having the team fully post the funds of the cashier 's check. I am redrafting the documents and title/lien to your name instead of [ BANK ]. I have attached documents. Once funds post I can then restore access to the vehicle and release title/lien to your name. Basically saying that they had the check this whole time but due to some internal oversight had not cashed it. And they came after us, accused us of not paying, and repossessed our vehicle. Not only that, they incorrectly had the title of our car under the banks name rather than our own. The next day, we received another email stating that the car is now back under our name and it can be picked up from the tow yard. No apology. No restitution. My father emailed them back saying he was glad the issue was resolved but was disappointed that there was no restitution offered, not even an apology. They then emailed back the equivalent of saying well we did try to contact you about this. I shot back an em ail stating that we are frustrated because it seems like this was an internal accounting issue that we should not have been contacted about or been involved in, in the first place. Now we find ourselves carless for four days and will have to go out of our way to pick up a car that was wrongly repossessed. And still Tesla offers no apology, restitution, and no guarantee that they are taking steps to prevent anything like this from happening in the future. I have also found a reddit post from four years ago in which others seemed to recount having similar issues, which shows that this is a pattern they have not resolved.

I purchase a home inXXXX, MD ; back in XXXX of XXXX. There were solar panels on the roof that were transferred from the previous owner XXXX XXXX. The solar panels were put on years before I purchased the home and were owned by XXXX with a lease agreement built in. Unbenknownst to me ; XXXX had work done on the roof back in XXXX and whoever put the solar panels back down did not do it correctly. So from XXXX the panels worked fine and then all of the sudden XX/XX/XXXX they stopped working. I began to call Tesla customer support ; which I waited for hours each time on hold when I called ; would get someone on the phone and get transferred around and around. I would have to explain that the solar panels were not reporting or communicating anymore and were not working. They told me it was because I needed a new gateway ; which they sent out. Over a month went by and I received no gateway, so I began calling again and again ; day after day. After SIX MONTHS I received the gateway, with no instructions or help... so I called Tesla again and they said " the gateway is just a device it has nothing to do with the panels not working ; we need to get someone out there ''. XXXX you I was asking for someone to come out to the house for months. No one came out to the house, I had to call back another 4-7 times and then finally around XX/XX/XXXX someone came and looked at the panels and said it would be {$3700.00} to fix them because they burnt out. He even stated this was not my fault at all and to file a work order and Tesla would take care of it ... .boy was I wrong. After calling, putting in requests through the app, emailing for over 8 MONTHS!!!! no one came out, no one would confirm anything and no one would acknowledge anything. So, I had enough I called the company that controlled the inverter and they came out the next day ( great company ) and they even replaced the inverter FOR FREE!!!! no questions asked hoping that would help but it didn't. The problem still lied with Tesla to fix the panels themselves. So it's now Fall of XXXX ( I started this process XX/XX/XXXX ) ; and I called into Tesla over and over again; finally they assigned my case to a women named XXXX XXXX ( I have all of our email correspondence ). She ASSURED ME that this would be taken care of and I woulnd't have to pay a dime. She took a month to get all the facts together and go through the 20+ times I called in over the last 1.5 years and submitted the request to management. Tesla management came back saying they wouldn't help unless I could prove that I wasn't the one who messed with the roof or panels. Simple enough, I got the previous owner XXXX XXXX on the phone and she gave me the information of the company used to do the roof work. I called them myself and confirmed XXXX XXXX XXXX from XXXX MD completed the work. XXXX told me that with all this informaiton and the terrible customer service I recieved over the last 2 years would be enough to get this done for me. MORE LIES. She came back and asked me to get more information, which i got ; then asked me to get documentation which i got and more and more and more. I got everything she asked for ... .then on XX/XX/XXXX I receive an email from XXXX XXXX who states that the only outcome is for ME TO PAY THE FULL BALANCE TO GET THEM FIXED and that XXXXesla would not help at all. So I got all the information proving I wasn't at fault as requested, I got the roofing company to admit they did the work, and gave all of this to Tesla ; let 's not forget that this took OVER 2 YEARS FOR THEM TO DO A SIMPLE REVIEW PROCEDURE. Declining multiple times over those years to send people out to my house, to try and walk me through the gateway or inverter, to help me figure this out or anything. I have asked XXXX to call and explain to me over the phone how they could come to this decision when I did every single thing they asked me for and then some. No response, no response from XXXX either. Next day I emailed them again, nothing, and so on until today XXXX. I am completely disgusted with their lack of customer service, deception, misinformation, incomplete investigatory practices, lack of follow up, violating their fiduciary responsibility to their client, but most of all ; taking over 2 years to send me a rude email stating " oh well you have to pay to get them fixed ). You can not tell a consumer whose already been put through the ringer and been lied to for over XXXX years that if you get all this information, we will help you and then do the exact opposite. This needs to be rectified.

RE : Letter of Complaint and Demand This letter is filed as an official complaint against TESLA Payment Resolution, and its continued fraudulent, deceptive and abusive practices. It is a follow-up to a letter filed on XX/XX/XXXX, adding further evidence of Teslas abusive business practices. The following facts are pertinent to the complaint : XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX while being away from my home, I was unable to drive my leased Tesla vehicle, as Tesla remotely deactivation the car. 2. After spending two hours on the phone, the company finally informed me that the car was deactivated and my electronic access to my Tesla account was disabled, until and unless I transfer by wire the sum of {$12000.00} to the companys account. XXXX. Upon inquiring as to the nature of such a strange demand and abrupt action, I was informed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who did not identify his position, and refused to transfer the call to his manager/supervisor ) that no payments on the current lease were received by Tesla. 4. I pointed out that monthly payments were made regularly for the past seven years (! ), as this was my third car leased from Tesla. Upon further investigation, XXXX XXXX confirmed that indeed payments were received, however they were deposited in the wrong account, and therefore could not be credited to the correct lease. XXXX. I explained that I needed the car for transportation and that my wife was XXXX and we were stranded away from home. That triggered no sympathy from XXXX XXXX, who insisted that payment had to be made in full, and only then the car would be released. He also threatened to repossess the car, unless I immediately provided proof of payment. XXXX. I proceeded to make an electronic transfer that Friday afternoon, and e-mailed ( following XXXX XXXX instructions ) a proof of electronic transfer. As by then it was past business hours on the XXXX XXXX, the money was drawn from the bank account but was expected to be credited to Tesla the following business day ( Monday, XX/XX/XXXX ). XXXX. Even though XXXX XXXX confirmed receipt of the confirmation of the transfer of funds, he ignored my pleading to release the car, claiming that until the transaction is confirmed by Teslas accounting department, the car would not be released. The car was eventually released on the morning of Tuesday, XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX. An investigation of the payments sent to Tesla since the beginning of the lease confirmed that : a. All payments of the correct lease payments ( {$1200.00} ) were made on time and delivered between the XXXX and XXXX of every month by bank check ( using the banks Bill Pay application ). b. All payments were received by Tesla and applied to the account of the car that was returned on XX/XX/XXXX between the XXXX and XXXX of the corresponding month, well ahead of the payment due date ( the XXXX of the month ). XXXX. Even though Tesla was aware that the payments were made in full and on time, as described in the Letter of Complaint dated XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla : a. Charged the current lease account a total of {$450.00} as Late Fee charges ( seven charges of {$64.00} ). b. Repossession Closing Fee of {$600.00} ( on XX/XX/XXXX ) even though there was no repossession of the car. In view of the above I demand : XXXX. The Tesla immediately refund the following amounts : a. {$12000.00} reflecting 10 payments of {$1200.00} received by Tesla and deposited in Account Reference Number : XXXX. These are the payments that should have been credited to the current lease, as detailed in my Letter of Complaint dated XX/XX/XXXX. b. {$450.00} for erroneously charged Late Fees, as explained above. c. {$600.00} for the Repossession Closing Fee which never happened. d. {$170.00} for the loss of use of the car for four days during the period the car was maliciously and unjustifiably disabled by Tesla. e. {$30.00} wiring fee.

Starting in XX/XX/XXXX, representatives from Tesla called me regarding my lease. They really wanted me to buy/lease another. I told the individual i hadn't decided what to do yet. In XXXX or early XXXX I informed him ( I forgot his name but XXXX rings a bell, tesla should have this information in their system ) of my intent to return the vehicle. He told me the return team would contact me with instructions as we approached the XX/XX/XXXX lease end date. Having been out of town much of XXXX, I contacted Tesla via email on XX/XX/XXXX inquiring as to both inspection and return of the vehicle. I was informed by email on XX/XX/XXXX that no inspectors were available and that I would have to submit pictures, up to 20, which I did. I went back and forth with XXXX XXXX trying to ensure all pictures were received until XX/XX/XXXX. I was also out of the country at the time. on XXXX I received a past due notice for my lease payment, which doesn't exist because my lease has ended. on XXXX I received a text informing me that i would have to re register my vehicle for another year before I turned it in. I also opened my phone app and tesla has now charged me for another month 's payment in addition to {$390.00} final quote fee, for a total of XXXX. It is important to note that my 3 year, XXXX mile leased vehicle has only XXXX miles on it ( +/- ). I paid for XXXX miles and received no Covid related relief, given the fact that no one drove for 2 years. Tesla 's policy of no lease buyouts allows them to control the bulk of the used lease return market. Therefore tesla stands to make an additional XXXX on the resale of my vehicle based on its very low mileage as well as immaculate condition. The fact that they failed to communicate with me regarding the process of return. They are not adequately staffed to have inspections done in a timely manner prior to lease end and the fact that the current process has technology challenges due to size restrictions on emailed photos. I just want to return my vehicle. I want them to have their car back. It is unfair and deceptive to provide no information and no communication, have a terribly slow/manual process for returns and then start threatening me with additional charges, which according to their text messages, " Before we can accept your lease back, we require that you fully renew the registration '' They want me to pay and additional {$550.00} to register the car for the two weeks it has taken to get this return process sorted out. Tesla has created their own issues because they can't efficiently service their customers based on their business decision to not allow buyouts by consumers. They must have lots of XXXX 's coming back in and they can't handle the volume. For this reason, I'm asking for intervention. I want to return my nearly perfect vehicle next week, with no additional fees and no new registration ( which they would then float for another 60 days before any kind of refund was issued back to me ). My account number XXXX They want me to pay : {$550.00} monthly payment for XXXX, {$390.00} lease term fee ( junk fee ), and register my vehicle for another 12 months ( totally ridiculous ) for {$530.00}. This is completely unacceptable given the failure of their process. If I am contractually obligated to pay the {$390.00} junk fee, I will do so but am not inclined to be held XXXX for the other {$1000.00}. I have communicated with them that I will be out of town until Tuesday XX/XX/XXXX and will return the vehicle before Friday XX/XX/XXXX. I appreciate any help you may be able to provide to encourage Tesla to improve it's processes and not penalize it's customers for its failures. thank you, XXXX

On XX/XX/XXXX, I leased a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX from Tesla Finance, knowing that if I wanted to end my lease early, I would be able to transfer my lease in XXXX weeks, as stated in Tesla Lease Transfer Information Packet XXXX On XX/XX/XXXX, I started my lease transfer process. XXXX days later, on XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla Finance informed me that the paper title was ordered from Washington State DMV to complete the transfer, as Tesla Finance lost the original title that was sent to them in XX/XX/XXXX. I immediately reached out to Tesla Finance and offered to go through the Quick Title process provided by Washington State DMV and offered to pay any additional costs. However, Tesla Finance rejected my offer and told me to wait XXXX weeks. Indeed, on XX/XX/XXXX, I learned from XXXX XXXX ( a Tesla Finance XXXX ) that the title was actually ordered on XX/XX/XXXX, not on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX, I was called by Tesla Finance. They told me that they would get the title very soon. Tesla Finance later emailed the transferee and me that the title takes about XXXX weeks, which should be done in the next few days. As XXXX weeks passed with no updates from Tesla Finance despite my countless attempts, except for XXXX call, on XX/XX/XXXX, I left multiple voicemails and emailed Tesla finance . Finally, I received a call from Tesla Finance at XXXX pm, saying they have the title now and will schedule the transfer on the earliest day. They told me that the earliest day would be XX/XX/XXXX over email. I asked them if they could expedite the process as we've been waiting for more than XXXX months now. They told me that they would monitor the availability and if there is availability earlier, they can expedite the process. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from Tesla Finance again, and they told me they could not locate the title and would get to the bottom of this by XX/XX/XXXX. I talked to Washington State DMV on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX on the phone. Two separate DMV agents confirmed that DMV did not get any replacement title requests. On both days, I immediately informed Tesla Finance about the situation and asked Tesla Finance to take immediate action. On XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla Finance rejected taking any action, claiming that DMV records were inaccurate. On the same day, XXXX XXXX XXXX a Tesla Finance employee ) also assured me that the title would arrive any moment. However, on XX/XX/XXXX, during my phone call with XXXX XXXX XXXX a Tesla Finance employee ), Tesla Finance told me that they agreed to take action and made a new request from DMV as they could not confirm the status of their previous request with DMV. We currently have no clarity on when the transfer will happen. Since Tesla has no problems getting their payments from me, all they are telling me is to wait. For most car manufacturers, lease transfer process takes around XXXX weeks. Tesla also advertises in its " Lease Transfer Packet '' that average wait times are around XXXX weeks. By not processing my lease transfer properly in a reasonable time, and misinforming me throughout the process, Tesla is forcing me to terminate the lease. During my phone conversations with them, they told me multiple times that if I did not want to wait long times, I could go through the early termination route by paying exorbitant fees. They asked for {$8200.00} to terminate my lease early. While waiting for Tesla to complete the lease transfer, I paid them another XXXX months of the lease, totaling {$1400.00}. I have also contacted Tesla Executives, Tesla Legal Department and Tesla Corporate Auto Resolutions but never received a response.

On XX/XX/ I took delivery of my Tesla Model Y from the Tesla deadlership in XXXX XXXX, WA and was working with XXXX XXXX. Upon arrival at the dealership, I was instructed to complete all of my paperwork through the Tesla phone application and I did just that. I completed the paperwork and e-signed the documents that required me to do so. One of the documents I signed was the lending agreement that had my monthly payment at ~ $ XXXX for 72 months which is what was displayed in the Tesla application upon my application and approval of my loan. The lending agreement that I signed and Tesla signed reflected what I expected. After signing my documents and officially taking delivery of the vehicle, XXXX XXXX told that the registration packet would be mailed to me within a few days so I could register my vehicle. On XX/XX/XXXX, I looked at my Tesla profile to see the status of my registration packet and, to my surprise, noticed there was a lending agreement loaded into my profile reflecting completely different numbers than what was signed just days before on XX/XX/XXXX and the document did not have my signature on it. I reached out to XXXX XXXX and she immediately followed up and reached out on my behalf and also gave me contact information for the department that would be resolving my issue. I proactively reached out to make them aware of their mistake and that the original lending agreement I signed was not loaded into my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a response from XXXX XXXX from XXXX telling me there is an open case and their team was working on fixing the lending agreement. They immediately removed the incorrect, unsigned lending agreement from my online account. Now, over 3 weeks later on XX/XX/2023, XXXX XXXX reached out to me and informed me that the lending agreement was incorrect and that they would need to undeliver my vehicle and have me resign paperwork, then redeliver the vehicle to me. I have already pre-registered my vehicle with the State of Idaho on the condition my registration paperwork would be submitted to them soon. The vehicle was registered and all taxes were paid on XX/XX/XXXX XXXX I am unaware as to why my agreement needs to be resigned and I have informed them multiple times that I am unwilling to sign and will not sign new paperwork. This has me extremely concerned as they have not disclosed anything to me and could put anything on the new paperwork. I have informed them that the only agreement I will follow is the initial agreement that was mutually agreed upon on XX/XX/2023 is the agreement I will follow. I feel they are being deceitful and need to follow and abide by the terms that we agreed on as that is what was originally communicated to me and agreed upon. Tesla is being extremely vague and I feel is trying to use intimidation tactics to get me to undeliver the vehicle so I can resign documents that I am unwilling to sign. They have told me I will lose access to my vehcile for 48 hours while they generate new agreements, again, that they have not communicated to me and that I have not and will not agree to. This is a vehicle that I took delivery of over 3 weeks ago and this has me extremely concerned about how this company has treated me and other customers. I want this to be resolved and I want Tesla to hold up their end of our commitment. I need my registration packet as soon as possible so I can provide it to the State of Idaho. I am unwilling to sign new paperwork and would like someone to represent me and support me so I am no longer being taken advantage of by Tesla.

Tesla, my family and I went into the Tesla Dealer XXXX XXXX XX/XX/2021. The representative greeted us asked us what vehicle we were interested and offered us a test drive. Upon walking us to the car the representative started it, showed us features and in the most PREJUDICE manner purposely changed the radio station to Hip hop and rap music and stated I know yall like this type of music. ( Because we are XXXX American middle age man and women ) That rubbed us completely wrong. She didnt know much about the vehicle and the Tesla Lease process once we returned. She couldnt offer us much assistance but pressured us to put a {$100.00} deposit so the sale would be linked to her once we purchase. We left the dealer went home applied for lease and was approved XX/XX/2021. We set a delivery date but we had to change it due to travel. I asked them how long did the application appproval remain on file they stated 90 days. Tesla reran my credit in XX/XX/2021 without consent after telling me my application remain approved on file for 90 days. Once I emailed them to ask why they stated because its coming up on 30 days and thats their process. I advised they told me the approval remain on file for 90 days. I politely asked them not to do it again. They then went into the file and denied the application because I raised this concern. So when I log in the Tesla account it still shows a new delivery date. We scheduled the delivery and arrived to the dealer an hour early. When the representative came he stated we were denied and I showed him the approval that I printed. He then emailed their back office to clear the confusion. It took him an hour doing that so we advised we will go grab lunch and return. We were gone for 15 mins returned and waited another 30 mins before asking for an update. The rep who started working with us earlier was helping another man of a different race while we were waiting. I asked for a manager. The women never stated she was a manager funny it was the original women who showed us the test drive and turned on the rap music in a racist way. When I started to explain to her weve been waiting for over an hour for delivery with no explanation the gentlemen who started to help us earlier came over and stated we are still waiting for back office to make a decision. Another 30 minutes went by and finally the gentleman came out with the approval and the final paperwork. We signed the final paperwork and asked for a tutorial how to plug the vehicle up and operate it with the features the gentlemen stated we usually dont give tutorials on the vehicles. Upon going out to the car we noticed scratches on this new vehicle and one of the caps on the hubcaps were missing. We went in he responded irritated and came out to look at the vehicle and stated he would put us in for service to have the scratches buffed out. Lastly, the original rep who worked with us day one showed us the vehicle and let us test drive it and pressured us to put a deposit on the vehicle was there the whole day we took delivery and this women never spoke to us a customers, greeted us when when entered or anything. This whole experience was racist, poor horrible customer service and the worst experience Ive witnessed first or second hand when buying something. Ive driven XXXX and XXXX XXXX my whole life and to experience this is beyond insane. Please take action contact Tesla dealer of XXXX XXXX and ensure they are putting protocols in place to treat everyone equally.

In mid XXXX of XXXX, Tesla repossessed my XXXX XXXX XXXX when the pandemic lockdowns were in place since XXXX. I was told that they had not received a payment on the vehicle, which is not true. A payment was made in XXXX on this vehicle. At any rate, I told them that I would not have received any of their notices because the business office, where the invoices and notices were sent, was closed due to the lockdown. They did not care and did not want to work with me to get the vehicle back to me. In fact, when I was finally able to make a payment to get the vehicle back, they significantly raised the amount owed to get it back and I could not afford that at the time since business was shut down. That entire experience was shocking to me because I don't think the vehicle should have been repossessed at all and when I tried to make things better to get the vehicle back, the made it exceedingly difficult. It felt personal, although I know that may have been irrational to think. Currently, I am still dealing with Tesla Finance trying to collect a payment over {$14000.00} for the repossessed vehicle which has long since been sold to someone else. I had a conversation on XX/XX/XXXX after FINALLY getting through to a human and explained all of this to him. He ( XXXX XXXX then said that the payment would be reduced to just the amount I owed up until the vehicle was repossessed. He went in on the back end of the website and made it possible to make partial payments until I pay the new reduced balance. I made a payment of {$200.00} on the phone with this man that day! I have an image of the email he sent explaining how to make the partial payment. I explained that I likely would not be able to start making large payments until the holiday season is over due to VERY slow business in the housing industry. I told him that I would likely be able to make significant payments or even pay off the balance in late XXXX early XX/XX/XXXX when. things typically pick up again. He mentioned I would still get notices until I pay the balance. I was ok with that. A few days later I received an email from some other person asking why I paid only {$200.00} and reiterating that I still owe $ XXXX on the account. I emailed and told him that the balance was adjusted by an associate of his and that the {$200.00} was accepted and I even paid it while I was on the phone with his associate. Then I received another email from yet ANOTHER person replying that they do not do payment plans and that I still owed $ XXXX on the account! I was infuriated! After spending so much time on the phone explaining things and then making a payment with a TESLA finance person on the phone with me. To have others email me and tell me that it doesn't matter is frustrating! They have also had some people from another company emailing me notices about this account asking for payment as well! ( Please see attached ) Its ridiculous! They have VERY bad customer service and no internal communication and it's causing distress.

I got solar panels in XXXX from Solar City AKA Tesla now on my house and my detached garage for my out buildings so I have XXXX accounts. I send in XXXX separate payments each month-one for each account. Then in XXXX I realized that they were not applying ANY of my payment toward the principle and putting the entire payment all toward interest. I called and they reworked my principle on both accounts to account for the payments I sent in but then it started all over again. They were applying the entire payment again only toward the interest and nothing toward the principle. I have NEVER had a loan where the entire payment goes toward interest and nothing toward the principle. I think this XXXX XXXX needs to be looked into as this can't be legal. ANYWAY I was finally able to get a XXXX to payoff both accounts with Tesla as this was just sending money to a bottomless pit. These are the firs loans I have ever had where when it came to paying off the balance, the balance was higher at payoff then the original loan after making years of payments. I got their payoff statement and took a loan for the full amount on both accounts. Payment was made and they acknowledged via email receipt of both payments on XX/XX/XXXX which is before XX/XX/XXXX showing the amount to pay off by. I thought I was done dealing with Tesla but in XX/XX/XXXX, I received a statement showing no payment received and adding more interest. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed them the statement they sent, the loan payoff statement, the XXXX emails I received from them acknowledging they received payoff payments for both accounts as well as the statement for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX showing where XXXX separate payments were wired to them in the amount to payoff these loans. NOW you would think they would figure it out and correct their mistake-WRONG! I received another statement XX/XX/XXXX still showing no payment received and adding more interest. This type of dereliction of duty, meaning they have failed to do their job-in competence should be against the law. At the very least pay the consequences for being so incompetent. That consequence for being so incompetent should be for all the payments I sent in XXXX to present that have gone to interest only. That amount is {$13000.00}. I filed a complaint with the XXXX 's office and they sent me to you. I certainly hope you are able to do something with this ignorant company and their employees. I am enclosing all the documents I sent to them that they couldn't figure out. Tesla/Solar City needs to be held accountable to the tune of {$13000.00} and their lien needs to be removed from my home as they have been paid in full and they have caused me undo stress. Maybe because I am considered a Senior Citizen they think they can pull this, that I am too stupid to understand but they are the stupid ones and I need you help to get this take care of and to show Tesla/Solar City that they need to get their business right.

copy of my letter to collection agency and Tesla Re : Tesla Ref : XXXX, XXXX XXXX Sir/Madam I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing in response to the claim you have filed against me regarding the return of a vehicle leased from Tesla. I would like to address each of the points you have raised as follows : 1. The car was in legal compliance with the state of New York 's Department of Motor Vehicles regulations. It met all the necessary requirements, including but not limited to registration, inspection ( which includes tire conditions ), and insurance. I have upheld my responsibility in ensuring that the vehicle was following the applicable laws during the term of the lease. 2. All the tires on the vehicle were in good shape. In fact, I had provided photographic evidence of the tires ' condition to Tesla prior to the return of the car. The tires were properly maintained and met the safety standards set forth by Tesla. The vehicle had only XXXX miles after 3 years. 3. At the time of return, Tesla accepted the car without stating any issues with the tires or any other aspect of the vehicle. If there were any concerns regarding the condition of the tires, it is reasonable to expect that Tesla would have communicated them during the return process. However, no such communication occurred, and I proceeded with the return based on the acceptance of the vehicle by Tesla. 4. It is important to note that Tesla requested the return of the vehicle to a specific location, which was not originally agreed upon in the lease agreement. As a result, I incurred the loss of a day 's work to fulfill their request and avoid any further complications. I acted in good faith and followed Tesla 's instructions, which resulted in financial and professional inconvenience for me. 5. I understand my claim for lost wages resulting from the decision to return the car to a location outside of the lease agreement. However, it is crucial to recognize that this decision was made at the request of Tesla, and I complied in an effort to address the situation efficiently. As a result, I incurred financial losses, including additional expenses and the time taken away from work, which directly impacted my ability to earn wages during that period. 6. Based on the aforementioned points, I firmly believe that the claim against me is without merit. I kindly request that you reconsider your position and withdraw the claim. If you persist in pursuing this matter, I will be left with no choice but to take legal action against Tesla and XXXX, XXXX XXXX. Please be advised that if the claim is not withdrawn by XX/XX/2023, I will proceed with filing the necessary legal action. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I trust that we can reach a fair resolution without further legal action. Please contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this further.

I moved from XXXX to CT in XXXX of XXXX. In XXXX of XXXX, I was informed by NY that I needed to surrender my plates and register car in CT, as I was now a CT resident with a CT license. I immediately contacted Tesla about this matter and requested the documents necessary to register the vehicle in CT. However, they have since oscillated between responding to me apologetically saying they will send documents right away to never following up and downright ignoring me. I have called them every month for nearly a year and emailed every department they have or recommended. I have gone and spoken to the dealerships in XXXX, CT and XXXX XXXX, NY, and none said they could offer any help. I have corresponded by phone and by email with Tesla Legal, Tesla Finance, Tesla Payment Resolutions, Tesla Lease Returns to try and resolve this matter and all have either offered no help or not responded- all I've needed was a signature on a POA agreement, extremely standard, to register the vehicle. The vehicle as such has been rendered illegal to drive and I was informed by the police and NY state that there's a motion to impound the vehicle. My lease is up in XXXX and I reached out to an attorney to help me gain a response. When none came, he had me draft up a termination letter ( attached ) and came with me to return the vehicle to the Tesla dealership I leased from in XXXX XXXX to renounce ownership and terminate the agreement. The people there refused to accept the car and kept us waiting for over an hour as they " contacted '' higher management, to which they said they could not get through to. They then called the police to get us to leave the dealership as we simply waited there and said we were renouncing ownership. The police came and made them give us an email to reach out to - Tesla Legal. To this date, we still have not heard back from them. There is no one left for us to reach out to to resolve this matter, so we are now reaching out here for government intervention. Given the car has been made illegal to drive due to them, I'm seeking reimbursement for the entire lease or at least last year of the lease and any fiduciary responsibilities related to the car and that they come pick up and take back the vehicle. The lease is done in XXXX and the only messages I receive at this point are automated lease return emails that require me to pay all sorts of fees and the remainder of the lease, which I have since stopped doing for these last two months ( XXXX and XXXX next ). All I was seeking was a standard legal document allowing me to legally register the vehicle and drive on the road. I was simply seeking to follow the law and this company has made that impossible and dragged its feet on that in such an unprofessional manner that the lease is now up and there is no time left to properly resolve the matter, leaving the burden squarely on me.

On XX/XX/21 - I was chatting with Tesla regarding an existing Model 3 located in XXXX XXXX. After a few hours, a Tesla Representative XXXX XXXX called to inform me that there was an available Model 3 available at a much lower cost due to the previous damaged history located up north XXXX. I was told by the representative that I did not need to pick up the car until after the new year because of the holiday and knowing full well I was located in XXXX California. The rep followed the conversation with a text link directing me to the car, and I committed to paying the {$250.00} order fee because of the said car credit savings. On XX/XX/21, XXXXXXXX XXXX pst I received a welcome to the Tesla Family detailing tasks that need to be completed. At XXXX XXXX, I followed the Tesla tasks, had my insurance uploaded, had my credit run and was approved, and I paid the {$4500.00} downpayment requirements. On XX/XX/21, around mid XXXX XXXX pst I received a text message from a XXXX phone number that I will need to pick up this same day, XX/XX/21, or I will be unmatched to the car. The text message also added a link to model 3 at $ XXXX more as a replacement car located in XXXX XXXX, California, if I choose not to pick up the original model 3 ordered. I explained by responding to the text that there is no way for me to pick up the vehicle before their closing time as I am located in XXXX California and would not be able to drive or fly due to the timing of the request. Moreover, I explained that Tesla had not sent me the agreement to complete the final task or had given me the last date for pick up via the delivery task via Tesla App. On XX/XX/21, concurrent to the XXXX text exchanges, I had texted XXXX to inquire about the text messages I was receiving from XXXX and why he did not disclose that this would happen. At XXXX XXXX, XXXX reached out to me via phone after several frantic calls my wife had made to XXXX XXXX Tesla, promising that XXXX the rep would reach out. During our conversation, I explained to XXXX that if I had known, I would not have committed to purchasing the car if the car was never mine to begin with, now Im out {$250.00}, Tesla did a hard pull on my credit, and I made a {$4500.00} payment. I explained to XXXX that Tesla baits and switched me to a more expensive vehicle that I would not want. We finally ended the conversation that the car does not belong to me, and if no one gets matched to the vehicle after the new year, it is like nothing had happened. I told him that he needed to refund me my money, including the non-refundable order fee of {$250.00}. I explained that he should have disclosed this information to me before committing to the car, and now I have a credit pulled on my credit history, which would lower my credit score and out the {$250.00} order fee.

Car leased from Tesla leasing for 2 years and lease extended by another 6 months. Appointment made as per instructions to return the leased car on XX/XX/2021 XXXX car, odometer reading was taken at Tesla dealer site, handed back both keys. Had me sign a paper but never got any confirmation copy of returned vehicle paper. Asked about the final paperwork confirming return and was told Tesla Lease would be touch as the place of return was just the Tesla dealer store. Had made the full XXXX payment from XX/XX/2021 but returned car on XX/XX/2021. Impossible to get anyone on the Tesla lease phone, so sent multiple emails asking about refund on excess paid. Was informed that since I did not upload inspection photos, they were waiting for dealer to do that. Nowhere was it mentioned I needed to upload inspection photos when appointment was made to return the leased car. Dealer could have done it at the time car was returned but nothing was done, except key taken back, odometer reading jotted down, and a form that I had to sign. Kept continuing to get bills to pay lease amount for XX/XX/2021 due XX/XX/2021. A couple of days ago received a bill from Tesla lease saying I owed alomst a {$1000.00} for wear & tear. No explanation, no breakdown of costs and why. Emailed asking for details. Was informed a breakdown saying a key was missing and for replacement of all tires and rims. Upon stating & insisting both keys were returned, they agreed to take off the {$25.00}. I have asked for copies of the photos based on which I am being charged the wear & tear... .something that should have been sent with the bill as proof! The photos were sent but what is the proof these are from the car I returned. This is the reason the inspection, photos and paperwork needed to be done while I was present when I returned the car! Today my account for the already returned vehicle shows it was returned XX/XX/2021 and now the balance is at {$1300.00}! Am being charged for XXXX lease payment too while the car was returned on XX/XX/2021. It has been an absolutely frustrating experience returning the leased vehicle, with getting someone to look at all the information and provide a resolution. Plus all the extra charges which had never been mentioned nor the process completed properly, so no proof for the customer. Intentional? Much as the experience was so smooth, easy, courteous at the time of doing the lease, it was the worst for returning a lease! Tesla lease seems to be trying to rip customers off, and especially where my vehicle mileage on return was well below the allowed limit and where the car had been kept in a good condition. Never again will I lease from Tesla Lease and will inform all I know to also not to do the same!

Dear CFPB, I couldn't find a box to check that matches the issue that I am having, but I am relatively certain that its in CFPB 's jurisdiction and I need help. On XX/XX/2021, I purchased the Full Self Driving upgrade for my Tesla at a cost of {$10000.00}. It essentially allows the car to perform lots of functionality like driving itself thru navigation, etc ... Due to some type of technical glitch, although Tesla did take my money, they didn't provide me with the product. Its supposed to be installed within 1-2 days, and I confirmed I have a strong Wifi connection. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Tesla to report the issue and they confirmed they would have it resolved, acknoledging its an internal issue for their " advanced team '' On XX/XX/XXXX, I called a 2nd time to inquire about status, to which they told me it would also be solved. I told them I'd either like the product, or a refund, but I can't have Tesla take {$10000.00} of my money. Tesla has a 48 hour return policy on this product, and they advised they can not refund me since its more than 48 hours, but I never had the product in the first place. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called a 3rd time to follow up, and was advised to take the Tesla into the service center to get this remedied. On XX/XX/XXXX, I took 3 hours out of my work day to wait 90 minutes at the Tesla Service center for my appointment. They COULD NOT fix the issue, telling me its a software problem for the " Advanced Team '' On XX/XX/XXXX, I called a 4th time to follow up, and was advised that I would just " have to wait '' and, I told them I'd be filing a complaint and they forwarded me to a supervisor who would be emailing me On XX/XX/XXXX, a supervisor named XXXX emailed me to let me know they could not process the refund, and that although there is a fix for the issues I'm having, provided no assistance in when or if Tesla would fix it. Over the period of XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX me and XXXX exchanged emails in which I told him I don't believe this matches up with Tesla 's company culture, its promise to its consumers, or the agreement for Self Driving. There is no reality in which a customer pays {$10000.00} for a product from a reputable company, and the company choses NOT to deliver the product, and the consumer is not entitled to a refund, and is given the run around. The icing on the cake here is that XXXX told me " I would also recommend scheduling a service appointment so they can assist with this as well ''. I need CFPBs help in either compelling Tesla to refund me, OR to deliver the product they originally promised me.

I have leased a car from Tesla for over seven years ( since XXXX ). 2.All the monthly payments have been made using XXXX XXXX XXXX AutoPay service, set up at the beginning of each lease period for the number of payments contracted, scheduled to be delivered a few days prior to the due date. 3.My XXXX XXXX XXXX leased car was returned to Teslas dealer XXXX XXXX, Massachusetts on XX/XX/XXXX. I took possession of a new ( XXXX ) Tesla XXXX XXXX at that time. 4.XXXX payment for the new ( XXXX ) car was included in the sum of {$10000.00} paid as delivery fee for the new car. Since the XXXX payment for the XXXX car for the amount of {$1100.00} had already been automatically paid by the bank, and as the new lease amount is {$1200.00}, an additional payment for the balance of {$130.00} was mailed and processed by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. 5. Monthly payments for the new lease have been regularly issued by XXXX XXXX XXXX during the first week of every month ( typically on the XXXX or XXXX of the month ), as has been the case ever since the lease began. 6. On XX/XX/XXXX Tesla issued an invoice for {$5900.00} for Excess wear and tear. Repeated attempts to receive detailed support for this item yielded an e-mail on XX/XX/XXXX with the following information : Excess Wear and Tear : $ XXXX Taxes 4 19in tires - {$1400.00} 2 wheel refinishing - {$200.00} RH QP bodyline dent - {$3000.00} rear bumper - {$1100.00} no photos of keys or charging bundle {$260.00} 7.I explained that the charging bundle and keys were returned with the car ( and inspected by the manager at the dealership ). I was promised photographs documenting the excess wear and tear, and yet to this date, I received none of the photographs. Tesla also ignored my requests for an explanation of what should be considered normal wear and tear for the period of 14 months ( XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX ) extension of the original lease, due to Teslas failure to provide the new car ordered in XXXX. 8. Tesla failed to properly close the XXXX lease on XX/XX/XXXX, opting instead to charge me lease payments through XX/XX/XXXX, even though Tesla was in possession of the car. 9. Instead of resolving the issue by properly crediting my account, Tesla opted to issue on XX/XX/XXXX a letter of demand, threatening to commence vehicle repossession and/or legal action 10. Beginning in XX/XX/XXXX Tesla began sending daily ( and sometimes even twice a day ) electronic notices of overdue payments, fabricating overdue periods of months, while at the same time cashing the timely lease payments.

I purchased a new XXXX XXXX XXXX ( VIN # XXXX ) from XXXX of XXXX through their corporate website I uploaded all my documents, ( I was pre approved for a loan of XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) the purchase price of the vehicle was approximately XXXX total with my loan amount the balance was XXXX. I was scheduled to pick up the car on XX/XX/2020 at XXXX XXXX, I received a call from a representative at the XXXX location that the vehicle would be available to pick up on Saturday XX/XX/2020 at XXXX XXXX. I arrived to pick up the vehicle a half an hour late, I signed all the legal paperwork including the pink slip and was allowed to leave the lot. I took my childhood friends mother XXXX XXXX with me. After everything was signed I took my friends mother and her daughter to eat as a celebration of the new vehicle and also my deceased mothers birthday which was the following day. When I awoke the following morning I checked my e-mail and there was an message from XXXX XXXX Financial Director stating that he did not think that XXXX XXXX financed XXXX and that I should apply for some other financing. I wasnt sure if he was a scam artist or an official representative for XXXX. I promptly returned the vehicle to XXXX XXXX as not to incur any further devaluation. I was very depressed for the rest of Sunday, I decided to wait and find out what was actually going on until Monday morning when the dealership opened. I contacted XXXX XXXX through XXXX to voice my grievances and seek some kind of help. When I was able to get in contact with the representatives at XXXX XXXX I was repeatedly told that XXXX XXXX does not finance XXXX vehicles. I contacted XXXX XXXX and they informed me that they do finance Tesla vehicles and provided me with a reference number XXXX. The representative also stated that they had yet to receive anything from XXXX of XXXX. I asked to be provided documentation with a company letterhead that clearly stated that they do finance Tesla vehicles, I was transferred and that representative did not have any authority to produce the documentation. I reached out to XXXX of XXXX representatives and was repeatedly routed to voicemail, I decided to choose to call another department and see if they could route me to the delivery team and the person set the phone down and said I had the wrong number. I was eventually able to get in contact with a woman from financing when I tried to give her the reference number she declined and told me that Tesla does not partner with XXXX XXXX.

Hello, I ordered a new Tesla XXXX XXXX on the manufacturer 's website on XX/XX/XXXX. I was presented with a {$60000.00} 2.49 % loan offer from XXXX XXXX XXXX on the same day, but did not sign any loan documents. Vehicle delivery was scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I went to the XXXX dealership location ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX ) to pick up the car. Unfortunately the car was physically damaged and had several error notices showing up on the main screen. I spoke with a Tesla representative ( XXXX ) and he told me in his experience this was not normal. I told XXXX that I would reject delivery. XXXX told me that this would not be a problem and that Tesla would cancel the order, have a new car/VIN allocated for me to be delivered at a later time. Tesla does NOT allow future owners to inspect the interior of the car and/or the software/computer inside the car before signing the documentation, therefore I was forced to sign their paperwork prior to completing my inspection of the vehicle. I asked XXXX if this would be a problem after I rejected delivery, he said no. He promised me orally and subsequently via text that my deposit ( {$8700.00} ) would be refunded shortly, that the documents would be cancelled and that a new car will be ordered. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notification from XXXX that a new lien was added to my credit report. This was the XXXX XXXX XXXX loan for {$60000.00} that I never accepted because I rejected delivery of the vehicle. I reached out to XXXX immediately and asked him why my credit report was showing this loan. He told me that Tesla 's systems showed the loan contract as voided, that he followed up with Tesla 's financing team to confirm and that my deposit would be refunded within 30 days. I never heard back from XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX a XXXX XXXX Bank employee reached out to me to let me know that that loan was showing as due in their systems and that I needed to start paying. I explained the situation to him and asked him to reach out to Tesla to confirm that the loan was voided/cancelled and that Tesla kept the car. I reached out to XXXX again and asked for some sort of resolution, but I never heard back from him. I filed a dispute with XXXX and today the dispute was " resolved '', but the loan remains on my credit report. I have tried getting Tesla 's help on this matter multiple times, but time and again they refuse to do anything to solve this issue. I attach the communication I have had with Tesla for the past few months.

I leased a new Tesla vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX. At the time of the lease I did not sign up for electronic billing or payment, as I wanted ( and still want ) paper bills and to pay by check, and told the sales person that. I received paper bills for a few months, and made payment by check with no problem. During the term of the lease, Tesla unilaterally switched me to online billing without my consent or knowledge, and stopped sending me paper bills. In or about XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla unilaterally notified me that it would no longer accept payments by check, only electronically, which I protested and rejected as a material change in the terms of the lease. I continued to pay by check as I do not wish to give them access to my bank information and for other reasons including tax verification. Tesla then began to claim that some payments were late or show them as " past due '' even though the checks were timely received and negotiated, resulting in purported late fees being incorrectly and unreasonably charged to my account. Tesla also continued to show a prior monthly payment as past due and inflate the balance due on my later online invoices, even though that payment had been received months earlier and was shown on Tesla 's own online payment history. Recently, Tesla acknowledged that they " no longer have a system to process these [ check ] payments on time '' which seems to be resulting in late posting of my payments long after they are received and even after they are deposited and cleared, generating an unreasonable and unwarranted late charge. Payments by check were a customary and acceptable form of payment when I took the lease, and any consumer would have expected that there would be an accurate and efficient system in place to process those payments and post them in timely fashion. Instead Tesla has unilaterally and materially changed the lease terms by not only eliminating that system, but disadvantaging me by manipulating the posting of my payments by check to generate late fees. In addition, I believe they may be forcing electronic payments to obtain data on consumers ' banking information which could either be used for other purposes, or become vulnerable to data breaches. All of this is a " bait and switch '' tactic and an unfair and deceptive practice which disadvantages me as a consumer and I would like the CFPB to investigate the effect on me and other consumers.

Retail Installment Contract was signed on XX/XX/XXXX for {$30000.00}. Project coordinator asked if we wanted to finance the battery portion of the loan separately at 0 % interest using the HEAT loan program. We agreed, went to a local credit union from the list provided from XXXX and secured the 0 % interest loan for {$11000.00}. The solar installation was completed in XX/XX/XXXX and we were instructed to mail the check to XXXX XXXX ( attached is copy of full email conversation between project advisor and us ). We received confirmation check was received, however we never received an updated Retail Installment Contract with the financed amount being {$19000.00} even though in the email it said we would. Since the {$11000.00} was now financed separately at 0 %, it should have been removed from the amount financed and we shouldnt have to pay interest on that amount. We made phone call after phone call to try to get resolution on this matter and each time we were told different things. First they told us the {$11000.00} was applied as a regular payment ( which was not how that should have been applied ). Then we were told it wasnt applied at all and they needed to send us the {$11000.00} back to us. We requested they correct the loan and provide a new Retail Installment Contract to no avail. XXXX deposited the check for {$11000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX ( copy of deposited check attached ) yet they did not apply it to our loan in any way or correct the contract. Our first payment for our original contract was due on XX/XX/XXXX and since the amount of the loan was never corrected we decided to pay it off, which we did. We sent XXXX a wire transfer on XX/XX/XXXX for {$30000.00} as this was the payoff amount given to us. We could see on the portal that wire transfer was received. Every step of the financing process has been a disaster and it seems there is not one person who works for XXXX that actually follows up with their customers. Our project coordinator, XXXX XXXX, stopped responding to emails ; we talked to at least 5 different representatives and not one got back to us as promised ; the only manager we actually got on the phone was XXXX XXXX and she had not responded to our emails or called us back. XXXX has had our {$11000.00} for 11 weeks and have made zero effort to get it corrected.

I purchased a Tesla XXXX XXXX from Tesla 's XXXX, New York location on Friday XXXX XXXX. The car was purchased by fully paying for it by certified check. ( I had to use the " Car Lease '' option on the CFPB website as there is no other option to register my complaint. ) The car had been booked online on Tesla 's system in lieu of the delivery of a different car which had been booked months earlier for scheduled XXXX delivery but which had been delayed. On getting home I was shocked to discover that the " new '' car I had purchased had over XXXX miles on it and was obviously a demo car or a used car that the dealership had owned. The whole process to sign and take delivery at the Tesla XXXX location was extremely rushed. It was Friday evening ( around XXXX XXXX ) I was asked to sign a bunch a papers without any disclosure on what I was signing, was given no documents and was handed the car at sundown to drive home. At no point was it disclosed that the car has a certain mileage that I should know about and check. Tesla 's don't come with a standard odometer and I discovered the high mileage on the car by going to the Tesla App once I got home. I was extremely unhappy by this turn of events and contacted Tesla the next day ( Saturday XX/XX/XXXX ) to register my intent to return the car, At the same time I asked to get access to the paperwork for the car. Tesla claimed that the mileage was disclosed on the paperwork I signed. The taking delivery process was very rushed, I couldn't read the details of the contract and it was not even given to me until I asked for it again later. Bottom line, I did not expect to buy a new car but get one with over XXXX miles on it. Tesla said they had put in a price reduction of {$560.00} for the demo car. I told them that the same is not acceptable to me. The car is over XXXX miles or 6 % into the XXXX mile warranty in addition to wear and tear. A 1 % reduction in the car 's price is not reflective of those facts. I told them that I would like to return this car and wait for the NEW car we had ordered several months ago. I offered to return the car promptly to Tesla, by submitting that request in writing via email to the rep I was interfacing with, but have not heard back from them.

I ordered a XXXXXXXX Tesla XXXXXXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid a {$250.00} deposit. I was leasing a XXXX XXXX XXXX, purchased on XX/XX/XXXX. My goal was to trade in the XXXX for the Tesla, which I received approval to do so from XXXX. I received a Trade-In Offer for my XXXX from Tesla for {$29000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX, good for 30 days and no more than XXXX addition miles being added to the vehicle. I had XXXX miles on the vehicle as of XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received an email from Tesla saying that my VIN was available. I received another email on XX/XX/XXXX to schedule my Tesla delivery appointment, to which I scheduled for XX/XX/XXXX. I received a new Trade-In Offer from Tesla on XX/XX/XXXX for {$30000.00}. My payoff quote from XXXX was {$26000.00}, giving me a net trade-in value of {$4200.00}. I took delivery of my new vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX, signing all applicable documents to include the Motor Vehicle Purchase agreement, Delvery Declaration and registration documents. I opted to apply the {$4200.00} towards the loan which is being financed by XXXX. I noticed approximately 2 weeks after I took ownership of the Tesla, my XXXX account was still showing that I had an account balance an a payment would be due. I called and spoke with representative who told me Tesla had not sent them complete payment and still owed nearly {$10000.00}. I asked how much was quoted to Tesla to buy out my vehicle. However the rep refused to disclose this information to me saying he could not tell me that information. He assured me that I would not be responsible for the payment and suggested I speak with Tesla to expedite payment. I immediately called Tesla, where I was told that XXXX gave Tesla a quote of {$26000.00} to buy out my vehicle 's lease. This rep assured me that they sent a total payment. The next day, my account balance was resolved with XXXX. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I received an email from Tesla 's finance department stating that I had an outstanding shortage amount on my trade-in account for my XXXX XXXX. I was requested to make an immediate payment of {$9900.00} or failure to pay would delay registration and send the account to collections. I have included all applicable documents.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I took delivery of a Tesla XXXX XXXX I am leasing from Tesla. I had to pick up the vehicle in XXXX, NJ ( I reside in Maine ). I was issued a NJ temporary plate that was good for 30 days. I was told Tesla would be mailing me my permenant plates. Note, however, that this is what I was told in XXXX, NJ. I different Tesla rep I interacted with over text prior to delivery said they would mail me a packet within 30 days with everything I needed to go and register the vehicle myself. Either way, I never received a packet nor permanent plates. About a week prior to my temp. plate 's expiration, I reached out to Tesla. They primarily use a text message service to contact their support staff ( calling takes over an hour on hold ). They told me they were looking into it and to check back for a status update next week. I did that and they again said they were looking into it. The day the plate expired ( XXXX ) I again texted and received the same response. I called their customer support number ( had to XXXX it as there is not one on their website ). After waiting an hour, I spoke with someone who seemed friendly and empathetic. She said she would be calling the XXXX, NJ location. She also tried calling the XXXX XXXX location as I had to been told by someone previously that they handle Maine registrations. She promised to get back to me the next morning. The next morning, she texted me to say she's still working on it. Since that time, I've contacted the Maine XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who confirmed that they have not received anything from Tesla regarding my vehicle. They explained the process and even offered to assist Tesla directly if they have any questions. I relayed this to Tesla this morning ( via text ) and insisted that Tesla apprise me, in detail, of the status and their plan, as well as to issue me another temporary plate while they sort things out. It has been about XXXX hours and they haven't responded thus far. Note that I paid sales/use taxes and registration fees to Tesla up front ( as well as the cost of the vehicle ) and I currently have a vehicle that I can not legally drive. We purchased Tesla model XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX We paid XXXX XXXX down, traded one car and took a loan of {$45000.00}. The contract was between me, my wife and Tesla motors Inc. The contract specifies terms of loan and when the payment starts. It does not mention any 3rd party that will service this loan. Till date there is no communication from Tesla that our auto loan will be serviced by 3rd party and who is that 3rd party. Since we paid 50 % down Tesla had my bank information and we were told that we will have auto pay for the loan. Last week when checking my XXXX XXXX I realized that around XX/XX/XXXX my score is severely impacted. I could not find any details, so I logged into XXXX and found that XXXX XXXX XXXX has put charges on me as I was 90day past due on auto loan. Then I searched for communication from XXXX XXXX and found an email from them in spam around XX/XX/XXXX saying that they will service our auto loan. It could have been any other bank and we would not know as Tesla did not tell us who will service the loan. We get tens of promotional emails from XXXX XXXX every month and it goes in spam. My wife also did not receive any email from Tesla motors on 3rd party loan service or from XXXX XXXX that our loan was going delinquent. I called XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and they told me that my loan contract is cancelled in XX/XX/XXXX when we were 90 day late and I have to pay the full loan amount of {$45000.00} + pay off amounts. Then I checked my email around XXXX XXXX to check whether XXXX XXXX sent me any delinquency notice before cancelling my loan. There was no email from XXXX XXXX during that period. They have not send me any email since then. Similarly Tesla has not communicated till date that XXXX XXXX will service our loan. How do we know that XXXX XXXX is legitimate. If I pay them {$45000.00}, and tomorrow some other bank comes and say that I owe them money then what will I do. This is gross communication negligence that has impacted my credit score and will impact me financially. Paying the loan was not an issue, but we need clear communication from Tesla as to who will service the loan so that we can keep an eye for it.

XX/XX/21 - Approximately XXXX, I walked into Tesla Motors located on XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for a consumer credit transaction with regards to a new Tesla . Everything was going fine until I was required to pay a reservation fee of {$250.00}. I reluctantly paid the reservation only to proceed to the finance portion. Tesla had a loan option but a consumer credit transaction option. As I reluctantly went through loan process, I gave Tesla my social security number which is a credit card number under 15 USC 1602 ( l ) to pay for the vehicle. My application was denied. I was confused and embarrassed because I know that I am the original creditor and I am the one who is extending credit to Tesla so how can they deny me? Why did they deny me? I tried to the finance department but the only person that I was able XXXX from XXXX in the sales department. After a couple conversations trying to get some answers, I received an email from XXXX XXXX at XXXX which stated that my application was denied due a low XXXX score and delinquency on my account. They literally waited until the office closed on the west coast to send the information I was looking for. Ive tried to reach out to XXXX XXXX via telephone but I am getting no response. Tesla Motors actions were in direct violation of the Truth In Lending Act and other federal laws : 1 ) Running my credit card and denying my right to credit 15 USC 1602 ( f ) 2 ) I am the Original Creditor, I am not a borrower per federal law. I am the person extending credit to Tesla 15 USC 1602 ( g ). Neither Tesla nor their banking partners have the power to loan money under 12 USC 1431. They are the borrowers per 12 USC 1431 3 ) When applying for credit, there was no disclosure section speaking to a finance charge which is in direct violation of 15 USC 1632a, 15 USC 1632b, and 15 USC 1637a ( 1 through 8 ) 4 ) Shopped around my credit application without my knowledge or permission which left 5 different inquiries on consumer credit report. I received a sales call from Tesla in XX/XX/2023 offering an incentive of waiving the disposition fees and the last 2 lease payments on my existing lease ending in XX/XX/2023 XXXX XXXX if I purchase a new Vehicle. We went through the existing lease and met all the criteria. Nothing was mentioned about returning the leased vehicle in the same month of taking delivery of the new vehicle. I proceeded to place the order with Tesla on XX/XX/2023 solely based on those incentives and canceled an existing XXXX XXXX order that was placed on XX/XX/2023. ( Ref attached order & cancellation emails ). Upon taking delivery of the new Tesla ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/2023 and on the same day I attempted performing the return transaction on the app but the final quote was incorrect giving me an amount significantly more than the remaining lease payments. I attempted to reach out to the lease return team over the phone and was advised to make XXXX payment and wait for the final quote to be revised. I followed the instructions but still the final quote did not reflect the correct balance at {$4600.00} although the remaining lease payments is around & XXXX ( Ref attached quote ). On XX/XX/2023 I sent an email inquiring about the final payment adjustment to reflect waiving the last 2 lease payments and the response that the credit will be retroactively applied to customer accounts after the return and that I should proceed to return the vehicle. XX/XX/2023 I followed up with another email requesting clarification about the Tesla app instruction make the final payment before returning the vehicle and the response was " Once the lease has been returned, we can look into making the adjustments on your final invoice. '' On XX/XX/2023 I returned the vehicle and received an email confirming that 1 month lease payment amount was credited to my account ( ref attached email ), but that credit was not actually applied to the account. I tried numerous times reaching out via phone and emails ( see attached ) to resolve this issue but have not been able to.

Earlier this year in XX/XX/2021, I entered in a Solar Panel installation contract with XXXX where the Company executives and Sales person said they will install Solar Panels and will power them on so i will have relief towards my Electricity bill. And for that they enrolled me into a contract. They have installed Solar Panels since XXXX months now and they are totally unresponsive about completing my project on time. Right now the solar panels have not been turned on, my advisor is not in touch with me since months and their customer support does not give any definitive dates when the project will complete. In fact i am being told that there are many customers to handle so we can not do anything and i am working with totally unresponsive people. Meanwhile my loan has started i am paying 'Interest ' on the loan for Solar Panels which are not functional. XXXX also unduly charged my approx XXXX for electrical upgrade but it was not required and not done. That amount is also included in the loan which i am paying interest on and XXXX would not reimburse the amount until solar panels are turned on which is currently indefinite. I am paying a loan for a solar panel product which is stuck in indefinite timeline with unresponsive XXXX and i am paying interest on the loan plus XXXX of electrical upgrades which i never required and was not done by XXXX at all. So i am having to incur a lot of extra charges due to XXXX XXXX mismanagement and non-transparency. Since april the solar panels have been installed and there is no attempt to expedite or provide clarity on multiple calls, emails that i have sent them. I am requesting them to reimburse XXXX $ right now so i dont pay interest on it and also that they must reimburse me for the delay in project as well as the interest i am paying for my loan unduly. I should not be charged loan amount until solar panels are functional ideally. It appears to be cheating and mismanagement to get people on loans and not start their solar panels. This is totally unethical.

I have had so many problems with getting my system up and running that I can not list them all here. I can not get in touch with supervisors or even the same ( repeat ) person to get my issues resolved. I have been trying to get this taken care of since XX/XX/XXXX. I feel like I have run out of options. The long story short is that we were told we would have it installed by the end of the year in XXXX. It was not installed until XX/XX/XXXX. I was unhappy with the way that the panels were situated on my roof and asked for them to move them. getting them to move the panels was difficult, and they said they would take care of it after much back-and-forth. They sent an install crew out to move my panels, but left the roof racks on. They said that they would get a roofer to replace and repair the roof damage but never did. They ended up giving us permission to find our own roofer and get reimbursed. I had them approve the estimate and went ahead with the roof repairs. I have paid them over a month ago and have not heard anything back on getting the reimbursement. on top of that, their policy is to collect down payment and start the monthly payments when you turn on the system. I was told over a month ago that I had permission to operate and we turned on the system. they went ahead and collected payment. Then we were informed by XXXX that they did not have permission to operate and we were to turn the panels off. Tesla continues to take our payments but does not continue to work to resolve the issue with XXXX. they refuse to contact us because we are asking why we are making payments when we do not have a functional system. Our system has failed inspection twice at this point. It has finally passed but we have multiple weeks left before XXXX will recognize the system and allow us to use it for energy. Tesla is basically nonresponsive at this point because we are categorized as a system that has been turned on. I am making no traction and would appreciate your help!

On XX/XX/XXXX, my wife and I ordered a Tesla XXXX XXXX with an anticipated delivery date of XXXX XXXX. However, we were initially excited to learn that our delivery date had been moved up to mid XX/XX/XXXX. While we were excited, we needed to figure what to do with our currently leased vehicle which was not due back until XX/XX/XXXX. Furthermore, as we saw in the news, Tesla was looking to complete sales by year end we were offered an " incentive '' to take delivery before the end of the year. The " incentive '' was {$3700.00} ( which went up to {$7000.00} a week after we took delivery of our car ). With that being said we were somewhat disappointed we were not offered the {$7000.00} " incentive. '' Fast forward to Friday XX/XX/XXXX, and we come to learn that our vehicle 's price had now dropped from {$64000.00} to {$55000.00} ( plus tax ) nationally. Since then I have made two phone calls to Tesla to express my frustration and feelings of being defrauded by the company. The 2nd phone call I waited 2.5 hours on hold just to speak to a representative. Both representatives ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX - In-Bound Team XXXX Region ) explained that there is nothing that they can do and they understand my frustration. Nonetheless, I feel as if this " incentive '' scam was an effort to milk as much money out of customers before the prices would change in less than 30 days. Even more frustrating, after a review of my paperwork, I could have delayed picking up the vehicle for 30 days without penalty ; and since my delivery date was XX/XX/XXXX, I could have delayed picking up my vehicle and fallen under the new pricing. While I do understand that prices change, this effort to " incentivize '' customers to take an early delivery of their car so they could make more money from my family, feels like a complete scam. When I asked how this creates any type of brand loyalty, both representatives were unable to answer my question with any honest sincerity.

In XX/XX/XXXX, I signed a 3-year lease for a XXXX XXXX from Tesla. On XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla sent a driver to my house in XXXX XXXX to pickup my leased XXXX XXXX and dropped off a new leased XXXX XXXX. Because of Covid, everything was done online and remotely ; I did not have the option to return the XXXX XXXX to the dealership or ask for an inspection of the XXXX XXXX I completed all lease payments toward the XXXX XXXX before it was picked up. On XX/XX/XXXX - 595 days / almost 20-months later - I received an automated email from Tesla saying my " XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Final Payment Is Overdue. '' I assumed it was an error and ignored it, but after receiving 2 more emails within 3-days, I emailed Tesla Payment Resolution and reminded them that I had returned the XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX and had made all lease payments. That's when they explained they were charging me {$1700.00} for excess wear and tear and the disposition fee : curb rash 2x {$170.00} front bumper repaint due to scuff marks {$600.00} charging bundle {$450.00} disposition fee {$390.00} ( Tesla 's math doesn't add up ) I disputed all of these charges with Tesla as I returned the XXXX XXXX in good condition and returned the charging bundle. As the XXXX XXXX has been in Tesla 's position for 20-months, and Tesla never notified me of any concerns or damage to the vehicle after it was picked-up, I believe that any now-reported damage was caused by Tesla employees, vendors or potential buyers - not me. I have requested from Tesla a copy of the actual inspection report that was conducted when my XXXX XXXX was picked up in XX/XX/XXXX, but they have only provided me with a couple photos. I have also asked Tesla to provide me with proof that ( 1 ) the above listed damage was caused by me, and ( 2 ) the photos are of my old XXXX XXXX, and not a different XXXX XXXX, but Tesla has not provided me with any proof.

I leased a Tesla XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) from Tesla, and after returning the vehicle on XX/XX/2022, Tesla still charged my bank account {$560.00} for XXXX as if I had not returned the car. I have sent about 30 emails and called many times, but Tesla does not have a real person that answers any of their phones, and I had to leave voicemails. In reply to one of my emails, I finally received a return call from XXXX XXXX, a Lease Maturity Specialist, and she explained that there was some kind of mixup in their system, and when I returned the car, my billing account did not get automatically closed as it should have and that is why I got charged for another month. She said she could not refund me for the {$560.00} charge until the billing department closed my billing account. A week later, I still had not heard anything from anyone at Tesla, and I got another email saying they were going to charge my account again on XX/XX/2022, for another {$560.00}. I called and left another voicemail but could not speak to a real person, and no one called me back. I sent another email saying I want my money back immediately because it's not my fault they made some kind of mistake and I need the money. I got a reply email saying this : " Any overpayment will go towards your excess wear and tear as well as your end-of-term charges. '' I replied and said it was not an overpayment! They fraudulently charged me for a car I had already returned, and I want my money back now. I have not heard back or received my refund, and I still can't talk to anyone at Tesla about all of the problems. Its hard for me to believe it is legal for a company to charge me {$560.00} for something I didn't get, and while I do understand mistakes happen, the fact that I can not talk to anyone about the problem on the phone and they have not refunded me makes the whole thing look very scammy.

I initially placed my Tesla Energy order for solar to be installed at my home on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX 's vendor XXXX XXXX approved my loan application on XX/XX/XXXX, to fund the project. Tesla installed the solar equipment, and all inspections were completed by XX/XX/XXXX. After installation, I expected to start repaying the loan I'd secured. After several months of contacting Tesla and XXXX XXXX, I provided a copy of the deed recorded with the county clerk, a piece of supporting documentation required for my loan that I'd provided XXXX XXXX on numerous occasions. The last time I interacted with XXXX XXXXXXXX was on XX/XX/XXXX. Both Tesla and XXXX XXXX were uncommunicative with me until XX/XX/XXXX, when a member of Tesla 's Energy Escalation and Resolution Team reached out to me. Tesla informed me that my loan with Sunlight Finacial wasn't funded " due to unforeseen circumstances. '' As an alternative, I was offered an internal loan product by Tesla that would save me money. The loan application process was completed by XX/XX/XXXX, due to unreliable and unclear communication on Tesla 's part. After securing the second loan, the first bill was incorrect by {$3200.00}, and the payment amount did not match any statement that I'd received from Tesla. Thankfully my bank was able to reverse the charge and limit the damage this could've caused. This incorrect billing amount has been debited from my bank account twice, and Tesla is still looking into resolving the issue. Tesla has not been able to provide me with a timeline on when my account will b e corrected and when I can resume regular monthly payments. Tesla also has been unable to confirm whether they've removed the autopay authorization from my account to prevent further erroneous charges hitting my bank account. This ordeal has been a protracted 16-month disaster.

I put in an order for a XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2020. Upon putting down my deposit I was given written confirmation on their web site of {$4500.00} down and {$430.00} a month. If you currently build and order a XXXX XXXX XXXX on their web site today it shows {$4500.00} down and {$400.00} a month. Unfortunately none of these terms are ever offered by Tesla or their finance partner. Once I applied for financing the terms changed to {$7000.00} down and over {$550.00} a month. I have been asking Tesla now for two months to address why the terms advertised on their web site can not be matched. They kept telling me not to worry, they will adjust it and match the web site prior to my car arrival. Two days before my car was delivered and one day before I had to turn in my old car who's lease had expired, they finally revised the terms NOT matching their web site. They adjusted the terms down to {$4800.00} and {$510.00} a month. I was told take it or just cancel. I have perfect credit, long job time, very high income and high net worth. I'm a homeowner and I believe my credit score is in the mid to high 700 's with zero blemishes. The sales people tried several times to tell me the difference was taxes. However, I know the taxes are only {$39.00} and it was confirmed on their estimate. I asked several times for the finance manager to call me. They refused. According to my calculations the money factor was excessive and about double what was in the market. I believe their finance company can not match their advertised rates. This is false advertising. I'm sure they just normally blame it on some issue with someone's credit etc. But with me they had no excuse. Just refused to talk with me about it and told me to cancel. Left me with no car. Rude and in my opinion illegal. FALSE ADVERTISING

I originally signed up with XXXX XXXX in XXXX, which was purchased by XXXX in XXXX. The amounts being withdrawn from my checking account to pay for the panels do not even cover the interest due. I have made additional payments only to find out that I am now behind on interest again by {$200.00}. I made a $ 325+ payment in XXXX to cover the shortage ... and I have been making payments for 4 years now and my balance is the same as when I started. Why does NONE of it go toward principal? When I call and ask them to increase the amount to a fixed amount, they are unable to do this. If I pay extra, the extra amount is taken from the next month 's due date. The only way I am able to make principal reductions is in minimum payments of {$500.00}. I have requested on several occasions to have my additional payments go toward principal and have been denied. I want to pay a fixed amount regardless of what the interest due is. I want the additional funds to reduce the principal balance. Since solar panels have a limited life, I am afraid when my 30 years is up, I'll still have the same balance because they are collecting LESS than interest due so I am always behind, with no way to come up to current - how fair is this?! I have requested to be put on a 10-15 year fully amortizing payment, and they state it is impossible. How am I ever going to pay this off? What happens at the end of my 30 years and I have expired panels and a {$27000.00} balance ( Original bal )? This seems predatory and deceitful, and I am getting no where talking to the support staff. Furthermore, there is no way to talk to a human being, it is only via email. I really need help in navigating this company - I am just trying to reduce carbon footprint and am afraid I got myself into a boondoggle!

I attempted to purchase a vehicle through Tesla which required a {$6300.00} down payment. The deopist was deducted from my account on the day I was scheduled to pick up the vehicle which was XX/XX/XXXX. There were things wrong with the vehicle so I was unable to accept delivery when I arrived. After several hours, I was informed that the door handle and another minor maintenance issue was resolved so I took possession of that vehicle. I was unable to reach a satisfactory deal with the financing department so I agreed to return the vehicle in exchange for the return of my deposit minus {$0.00} per mile. I returned the vehicle, took pictures and confirmed with XXXX XXXX, who I had been working with from the financing team on XX/XX/XXXX that the vehicle was retuned to the XXXX location as per his instructions. I confirmed multiple times that I would receive a refund of my down payment minus milage. I returned the car and signed a POA back on XX/XX/XXXX, confirmed with Tesla ( see email ) and it was confirmed that I would receive a refund ( see email ). I continued to follow up with XXXX XXXX from tesla regarding processing of the refund. As I continued to inquire status, XXXX stopped responding to my emails, will not answer or return my calls. I have tried every XXXX number I can find for Tesla as well as every email address I could locate and am constantly being told the refund has not processed and because of that, they would escalate to management and I can expect a follow up, but that has not yet happened. It is almost 3 months since the vehicle has been returned and over 3 months since I made the down payment. I am in deseperate need of my money and don't believe this kind of service is safe for the public.

When I returned the car after the stipulated lease time, Tesla charged my bank account with no information about the details. I wrote to them 3 times and there is no response. It is very difficult to get information by phone. Before returning the car, Tesla asked my provide detailed pictures of the car. They estimated {$200.00} of curb rash and sent me an invoice for {$1000.00}. This included {$200.00} curb rash, {$360.00} deposition fees. I did not understand the rest but I was told that I will be provided more information. When I returned the car on XXXX XXXX, Tesla informed me that I will charged {$3800.00} with no information at all. Upon returning the vehicle on XXXX XXXX, Tesla also revoked my access to the portal without any notice and hence I lost all the lease related documents. On XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla charged my bank account for {$3800.00}. I wrote to Telsa on XXXX and on XXXX with no response at all. This situation is very frustrating as there is no additional, or access to any documents to understand the charge. Moreover, Tesla had the time and details to review before the return of the vehicle. They only informed me about a curb rash for {$200.00}. They had time to review on XXXX XXXX when I took the car to them and failed to do so. Because if there were issues, then I could have solved it with insurance. My actual lease end is XX/XX/28. Tesla charging my bank with XXXX times more than the original estimate of {$200.00} with no information and without giving me access to cure it seems outline of line and a overreach of a large company on a consumer. We purchased a car from Tesla and went to their dealership to order the vehicle. The sales rep took us on their website. We calculated the payment to $ XXXXmonth with {$22000.00} down. Their website stated that the payment includes Includes Destination & doc. A fee of {$1200.00}. Once we ordered the car, paid them {$250.00} as a deposit, and the documents were sent to us days later within their portal, the car payment jumped to $ XXXX/month ( $ XXXXmonth increase ). When we confronted them on the discrepancy, they told us that the website was false and, in their own words, " we are not a big fan of our payment calculator on our website. '' When I confronted them that this is a bait and switch, they retracted their statement and started to justify the mistake by stating their website doesn't include ANYTHING in their payment, no interest, no fees, no taxes, etc. How is one supposed to know what the total payment is if the interest on the car is not added when they're presenting the payment and selling the vehicles to their consumers? And there are other hidden fees on top of the {$1200.00} they have shown? This is a 31 % increase in payment from what was told to us at the time of the sale! Financing a car or a mortgage is no different. If a mortgage company were showing payments on their website that didn't include the APR, Fees, and Taxes, they would be shut down by the CFPB and FTC for false advertising. Still, a car company like Tesla can advertise payments to people and switch on them without any recourse??? This is a double standard in the finance industry and unjustified! After canceling the order, they removed the contract on their website which you couldn't even download!

Please reference existing complaint CFPB # XXXX submitted on XX/XX/2022 regarding this issue. Tesla has not responded to my complaint nor has it stopped demanding unjustified late fees. This complaint is regarding what appears to be retaliation and harassment for filing the CFPB complaint. 1. Tesla has begun texting me repeatedly, claiming that my account is past due when they are well aware that I have made a complaint regarding unjustified late fees and they have not resolved that complaint or even responded to it. I have received 8 such texts, and some emails, since XX/XX/2022. 2. Tesla no longer mails me paper bills, and sends me emails that my invoice is " available on my Tesla app. '' I received such an email today and attempted to access the invoice on my Tesla app account as instructed. when I logged into the account and accessed the " financing '' tab where the invoices were previously shown as links to pdf files, the financing tab would not open and showed an error message telling me to try again. After several unsuccessful attempts, the " financing '' tab has now disappeared from the application when I open and log into my account. I no longer have a way to access my lease invoice, payment history, or account documents. I request that Tesla be ordered to provide me with timely copies of the invoices, payment history, and other lease document either by email, mail, or through a working application. i also request the relief for my original complaint including removing unreasonable late charges and accepting and processing mailed payments by check in a prompt manner.

I am just entering the 3rd year of a 3 year lease agreement with Tesla Finance. At the beginning of the lease I set up auto debit on my account and Tesla withdraws the lease payment from my checking account on the 12th day of every month. For two years all was perfect - equal monthly payments of {$520.00} as called for in the lease. But on XX/XX/2021 Tesla, without any notice or explanation, withdrew {$1100.00}, an extra {$600.00} over the monthly lease payment. I sent an email to Tesla finance about the issue to find out what was going on. I received no response to that email. I called and spoke with someone named XXXX who told me the extra amount was for " taxes ''. I asked her to send me back up supporting these taxes as I couldn't imagine what they are for. She promised to send an email - nothing arrived. I called again and spoke with XXXX again. I insisted that they provide detailed back up to explain why they had taken this money from my account. She said she would and proceeded to send me a copy of the monthly statement - which contains no details, just dollar amounts without explanation. I called again - was on hold for a very long time so I sent another email demanding they address my concerns. Nothing. I do not know what to do - until they can demonstrate why I owe this additional {$600.00} I consider it stolen. Too small an amount to hire a lawyer but a lot of money to me. I am grateful for any assistance you can provide to get Tesla to respond. This shouldn't be this hard. Thank you.

In XX/XX/2015 we had solar panels installed on our home via Solar City, who is now Tesla. Initially, we planned to purchase the equipment and signed a loan agreement with them. Prior to installation of the equipment we decided we only wanted to purchase the power from Solar City. We the signed a cancellation for the loan, then signed a My Power Agreement ( to purchase power only from Solar City for a period of 20 years ). Since that time, with both Solar City and now with Tesla, we have had continual issues with our account. It would seem that some of Tesla 's records indicate that we are under a loan contract with them, other records indicate that we only pay monthly power usage ( which is current ). We have never been able to resolve this issue. Now, Tesla has reported the outstanding loan to XXXX which has negatively impacted our credit. This is a huge issue for us as we are a small business that relies on a fluctuating line of credit. We need to get this resolved as quickly as possible. I have spoken with Tesla, numerous times, as recently as yesterday afternoon and was told by XXXX with the accounting department that they have every right to report us and that she would send an email on my behalf to their credit department who would make the decision on whether to help me or not. She simply does not understand, nor does anyone else seem to at Tesla. This is an urgent situation for our business. I have all copies of all supporting documentation available. Thank you.

When calling the only phone number that is public, I was directed to send an email and/or leave a voicemail on a " general '' mailbox. I was inquiring about the lease incentive from Tesla. They told me it was a {$7500.00} incentive. I asked how it was applied and was told they will provide those details to start my order, which has a mandatory {$250.00} fee to proceed. Once I proceeded, I was not given any explanation as to the lease terms or how the {$7500.00} incentive is applied. By my calculation, given the money factor shown ( which was also in no way explained, I had to XXXX what it meant ), that not only is the {$7500.00} not applied, but the money factor is severely understated, and the effective APR is in the 100 % + range. Even more deceptive in the practice is that you are told if you accept the lease ( without being given appropriate terms ), you may not change to cash or other financing options. So I am forced to blindly accepting dishonest lease terms if I want to read why they are dishonest. I tried contacting a sales rep several times throughout the day, was provided a phone number that did not work. I requested a {$250.00} refund through the online contact feature and was told they would not refund my {$250.00}. Unrelated to my complaint on their deceptive acts above, they lease term said it was valid for 60 days, but I have to reapply every time I refresh the app. There is not a way through their app ( the only interface available to me ) to see the existing lease terms. They give me no way to honor the 60 day approval.

The numerous loan applications, which were submitted without my consent, have caused damage to my credit report. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX with XXXX seperate purchases at Tesla, I was told and lied to by associates over the phone by Tesla both in XXXX and in XXXX, They told me Tesla will not drop prices over the next 30 days and that I should feel assured I was buying the car and the price was the lowest of which Tesla would allow and to please sign as fast as possible as I had to take delivery that specific day. The pressure to sign that day and the sales tatics portrayed were predatory and illegal including admitting to recording phone calls in the state of Florida that per Florida Statue 934.03 ( 2 ) ( d ) is illegal without notification or consent from both parties. They then on XX/XX/XXXX less than two weeks after the original purchase dropped the prices 20 % on one vehicle and 13 % on the other vehicle I purchase causing financial harm to myself as well as emotional and mental harm for being dupped and lied to by persuasion. This is one illegal in multiple manners but two completely irresponsible for such a large company to mislead and misrepresent facts and not make the clients whole or take back the UNUSED merchandise which has not even been titled to the purchaser within that given timeframe. Please help in this instance, I feel helpless as a consumer whom was soo clearly lied to, took advantage of and misrepresented to. Thank you

I applied for an auto lease/financing through Tesla at their dealership in XXXX, MD. Days later, I learned that the loan was denied. When asked for reason for denial, I was given limited information, specifically that I had an insufficient credit history. However, I have impeccable credit ; an XXXX credit score. I have paid off 7 car loans in the past 8 years, paid a $ XXXX house off in 2019, and currently own a home which is mortgaged. In addition I have multiple credit cards with limits ranging from {$2000.00} - {$20000.00}, all of which have a low balance, as they are paid in full prior to the end of each month. I sent multiple emails requesting more information as to why I was denied. I was never given a response, nor a written explanation as to why. After voicing my concern on multiple occasions, I was told they would approve my loan. The terms presented were outrageous. They requested a $ XXXX down-payment on a 36 month lease. I have never been requested to make a down-payment on a lease due to my exceptional credit. Their out-ofpocket requirement nearly covered the entire lease obligation. I decided to request a loan elsewhere. I was approved immediately, with the lowest interest rate they offer. This proves Tesla 's denial for financing, and outrageous leasing terms to be unjust.

At the end of XXXX XXXX, I requested early early termination of my lease via the Tesla app, as is required by Tesla, and was given a quote of {$0.00} to return. Given no other option by Tesla, I had to save the quote while I searched for another car. However, the quote expired right after I'd put in an order for a new car, again from Tesla. After waiting approximately two weeks, because Tesla couldn't give me a delivery date, I went into the app again to complete the return of my current lease. However, there was a new quote for {$12000.00}. Tesla was unable to resolve the difference between the quotes, and opted to not return my downpayment for the new car, which was {$2500.00}. So, in summary - - Tesla is not allowing customers to buy their leases out - Tesla has misjudged the market value to such an extent that a XXXX old car, with no damage, and miles remaining, is upside down {$12000.00} - Tesla 's return and purchase program intentionally lack clarity causing consumers to be stuck in their lease, over mileage, without recourse - Tesla refuses to refund their down payment even in light of the confusion they've created I attempted to speak to Tesla on multiple occasions, however, I was simply simply referred to the 'app ' over and over again even with my complaints about the process.

I recently reviewed my credit reports and found out that TESLA is reporting to the credit bureaus that I have a debt with them, with a balance of {$23000.00} with a monthly payment of {$110.00}. I have NEVER purchased anything from Tesla. In 2015 I installed solar panels in my home from Solar City. Tesla bought Solar City, I was notified that the contract would remain the same, but clearly it did not. Tesla has added a new debt to my credit report instead. A debt that does not exist. My original contract with Solar City is for the usage of electricity solely, produced by the solar panels. ( Panels are free of charge ). My contract was for 20 years, at XXXX cents per kw. " With the option '' to purchase the panels at the end of the contract at a fair market value determined by an appraiser at that time, Or, have them removed free of charge. I contacted Tesla, they told me " they are calculating '' the electricity I will use between now and the next 20 years and that's how they came up with a figure of $ XXXX. That sounds insane, I might not even live another 20 years, let alone, predict the future to know how much electricity will be used in my home. (? ) Solar City never reported any amount to credit bureaus. Tesla needs to honor original contract.

I got solar panels installed and got approved for a financing loan from Tesla to pay for the panels for account XXXX. I reached out to Tesla XX/XX/2022 to see if there is a way to payoff the loan faster on their website or app. Several times they responded that there is no way currently for me to do this. They said they would add a feature to allow this in the future. However, they keep pushing out the update later. Also, they said if I do make additional payments that money will not go towards the principal of the loan. It would set in my account to pay the monthly payments. Probably thousands of customers with a loan with them for solar panels and self storage batteries will accrue interest on their loan with no definite date to add this feature or a way to pay off the loan faster. Furthermore, the loan shouldn't have a pre-payment penalty and I believe it is illegal to have one for a loan. Pre-payments are not possible since all extra payments don't go to the principal or their system doesn't allow this. Lastly, I don't get monthly statements and my online account don't state anything about my payments or how much is left on the principal of the loan. I think this is illegal since companies are required to notify the payee about this amount.

I leased a XXXX Tesla Model Y from Tesla Motors , Inc. on XX/XX/XXXX with a monthly payment amount of {$660.00}, for a 36-month lease term, scheduled to end on XX/XX/XXXX. Through the online account management tool at www.tesla.com, I initiated an early-termination of my lease, which needed to be turned in by XX/XX/XXXX. I returned the vehicle to the Tesla dealership located at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX CA at approximately XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, where I signed documentation releasing interest in the car. On XX/XX/XXXX, my monthly automatic payment came out of my bank account. I attempted to resolve the issue with Tesla with no resolution. On XX/XX/XXXX, another monthly payment was drawn from my bank account. Neither of these payments should have bene processed as I released interest in the vehicle, per the terms of the Tesla early termination lease agreement, on XX/XX/XXXX. Tesla has not contacted me regarding the termination at all. I have now been faced with financial hardship with these two additional payments being taken from my bank account without my authorization, as those funds are needed to make my new car payment. Through the Tesla app, I can see that the vehicle is parted at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, which appears to be a car lot storage.

Late XXXX ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I received a Tesla XXXX as a brand new car. This car was sold with a prior owner and accident. During the purchase process it was never disclosed to me this car had a prior owner and accident. I would have not accepted the car if it were disclosed to me. I have tried communicating with Tesla, but they claim they dont have an answer for me yet. Its be month+ since Ive submitted my request with them. In mid XXXX, my car got hit while parked. I went through the process of repair and then submitted a diminished value claim which was denied due to prior accident. The car had been in an accident a couple months prior to my ownership which was repaired months after the accident. I am having an emotional roller coaster with how I feel about the car. There 've been issues with the car here and there which I just thought were factory related issues. Tesla failed on multiple occasions that they will not work with me, and was hoping to get legal counsel to help out with. 1. Car was sold with prior ownership. 2. Car was sold with previous accident. 3. The car 's previous history was not disclosed to me. 4. Tesla provided the false sense that this car was sold as brand new. 5. At one point they had a warrant

On XX/XX/XXXX I paid a deposit online to order a new XXXX XXXX XXXX replace the current XXXX XXXX that the Lease was expiring on XX/XX/XXXX. I paid the deposit of {$250.00} online ( copy attached ). After that they kept on asking to follow up in the app but the new order never showed up. First Tesla said there was a wrong email ( I had ordered the new Tesla with my account with Tesla and my email XXXX. Tesla sent me an email that I had to make an affidavit that this email : XXXX was mine. I told them that was not my email and it was a crime to uses somebody else 's email. Tesla personal insisted that I committed fraud and state that email was mine. I provided them with proof of my email, copy of my credit card charge and also Tesla own receipt that the funds were received. After multiple correspondence explaining to them that what they were asking was illegal they arbitrary stole my deposit and told me I had lost it. I tried to have the deposit credited or refunded but Tesla refused to give it back or credit it. I had to place another deposit, this time with the involvement of a local Tesla store and I finally received the new car. The original deposit was never refunded and Tesla stole my money and refused to give it back.

There was 1 car available i tried to see what i am getting, since it didn't load the description on the website. I chose select car so i can see what i am getting. But it went ahead and placed the order for that car. I was not trying to purchase that car. I was only trying to look what they are offering. I called tesla back that I don't need this car since My original car was long range this is standard range. Please change it back to my original order. After trying 4-5 times they changed my order and put the Current price which is {$54000.00}. I called them spoke to manager he said he will request the change and later i got text they will not change it. I try to explain them there was an error on website i was only trying to see what i am getting. In XX/XX/XXXX I contracted to purchase a Tesla XXXX XXXX via the Tesla purchasing process. There is no personal interaction, and communication is entirely by text, e-mail and phone app. I specified at the sales contract signing that I had arranged financing outside Tesla and would deliver payment prior or at time of delivery. Without my signature, authorization or knowledge, at the time I notified the 'app ' that payment would not be through Tesla financing, on XX/XX/, Tesla immediately drafted {$58000.00} on XX/XX/XXXX from my checking account. Tesla previously had authorized access to that account for lease payments on a vehicle previously leased by me from Tesla. I had, however, at no time approved or authorized Tesla to draw the full purchase price of the new vehicle from my account, and Tesla did not request that approval to draft my account. I resolved the matter by transferring the purchase amount from my outside lender, and my only loss was the 'stop payment ' and 'block payments ' charge my bank charged me to block Tesla from doing this. Please investigate the processes at Tesla finance that enable the company to engage in this seemingly unlawful activity.

I have recently ( XX/XX/2022 ) taken delivery of a new XXXX XXXX XXXX. I am leasing this vehicle through Tesla XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ). Yesterday I received my first invoice with my first payment of {$550.00} due on XX/XX/2022. As I reviewed the invoice for remittance information to establish an automated payment via my banks bill pay service I realized this was not an option and that I would be XXXX to Teslas process which gives me only 2 payment options BOTH of which require me to disclose my bank account information. It is not in my best interest to disclose this information and I have never done so lightly. Further, I have reviewed my lease agreement and it makes no mention of this practice. As a business minded individual, I can appreciate the minimization of payment risk and predictability of cash flow that this policy establishes for their business, however this is not a consumer friendly practice and definitely not friendly to someone with a long history of paying my bills on time ( as evident from the hard pull of my bureau file in the assessment of my creditworthiness ). I object to the notion of being forced into disclosing my personal bank account information.

Leased XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX via Tesla Finance LLC. Before the end of the lease, decided to purchase the car and reached out to Tesla ( XX/XX/XXXX ) for final purchase price of {$63000.00} ( Exhibit A in attachment ) On XX/XX/XXXX, wired funds of {$63000.00} to Tesla. Payment recorded against my account. On XX/XX/XXXX, Tesla auto-charged my bank account for the amount of {$1300.00} for the XXXX lease payment even though I paid off the car. Tesla confirmed that I would receive a refund when they sent me the Title to the car. ( See Exhibit B ) Received the Title to the car and a copy of the Bill of Sale on XX/XX/XXXX. Per Tesla, the buyout amount was miscalculated and I overpaid them by {$980.00}. ( See Exhibit B & C ) I have had corresponded with Tesla Finance multiple times since XX/XX/XXXX regarding the buyout of the lease and when I should expect to receive my refund of {$2300.00}. Each Tesla representative promises to fix it but as of XX/XX/XXXX, it has not been resolved. ( See Exh D for 4 pages of email correspondence ). I am now seeking CFPB 's assistance in this matter. I have attached copies of the documents referenced in my email. XXXX XXXX

In XX/XX/2021 I paid an order fee of {$250.00} to reserve a XXXX XXXX XXXX and was given a reservation number : XXXX. A year later has passed and I finally got a notification that it was time to secure financing and take possession of my new XXXX. Well unfortunately due to credit issues I was unable to secure an auto loan and I tried with several financial institutions which probably made my credit worse with all the inquiries. I was informed by Tesla Representatives that if I didnt secure financing in a timely manner that they would cancel my Reservation number that I paid for. I just couldnt get anyone to do the financing so Tesla cancelled my reservation number with no hesitation. I have reached out to XXXX for them to please give me consideration and reinstate my reservation number to which they refused. I asked them What is the incentive for XXXX to come back to XXXX to buy a car if they are loosing money with you like this? This is not a good experience non-whatsoever. I got a very generic response which was : I understand. And apologize for your experience. Unfortunately, the only way to move forward is to re-order at the current price point.

My Lease with a model X ended and I ordered a new Tesla X, the same model. I delivered the car the same day to the Tesla Service center where I picked up the new car. My car was inspected and every item that came with car was reviewed by the Tesla employee. The car was driven to a location 270 miles from where I delivered the car and was left negligently without electrical charge by the people managing the lease return. This information is available from a Tesla Car because the car is managed through the web and an application in your phone. 1-A few weeks later I receive an inspection report missing the charging cable, a damaged battery ( that was replaced new by Tesla a few months before ) and other items made up. Tesla now refuses to accept the responsibility and sends me to deal with the Leasing Bank. XXXX XXXX can not attest if the cable was there or not. 2- I was charged Lease for both cars even though the car was returned the same day that I picked up the new car. Tesla were the ones that determined the date of delivery of the old car and pick up the new car. They charged me for two weeks of two cars even though I only had one car.

Tesla has been charging my solar energy equipment lease account a {$7.00} monthly non-ACH auto pay fee since XX/XX/XXXX to XX/XX/XXXX even when I have a {$900.00} credit balance sitting on my account. I paid a total of {$52.00} in non-ACH fee in total without any payment services performed by Tesla. I earned no interest on the {$900.00} credit balance and the balance was more than sufficient to cover monthly payment of {$52.00}. I have no idea where this non-ACH fee came from and try to contact Tesla for assistance. Customer service rep responded via email stating I need to setup auto pay to remove the {$7.00} non ach fee each month. I don't understand this requirement as the credit balance on my account was more than sufficient to cover monthly payments for about 18 months. Tesla does not have to process ACH payment ( or non-ACH ) each month due to the large credit balance on account. Tesla is padding erroneous fee on solar equipment lease agreement to take advantage of consumers not reading their monthly billing statements which is only available online not via paper statements.

I acquired a solar photovoltaic loan from Tesla Finance. I paid off loan by wire transfer. It took months for them to credit my account and stated that they could not find the transferred funds. After over 30 calls and 10 emails they finally found the funds. During this time they were still trying to receive monthly payments from me. I cancelled monthly payments which probably negatively effected my credit score. When I paid off my loan I overpaid because I could not get in contact with anyone from the company to determine the correct payoff amount. They owe me an overpayment of {$2400.00} which I have not received. Tesla put a lien on my residence in exchange for the loan. I requested numerous times for lien release documentation and still have not received it. This company does not answer calls. If by chance I am able to talk to someone they are no help. I have tried resolving these issues by email and no action has been taken to reconcile my situation. My Tesla account even shows I have monthly payments due even though I paid Them {$45000.00}.

I signed a PPA lease Agreement with Solarcity for a solar system installed on my home that gave me the option to purchase the solar system after 5 years at fair market value determined by an independent 3rd party appraisal per the agreement. Solarcity was taken over by Tesla. I have requested a payoff from Tesla for the last few years. Despite wear and tear, the payoff price for the system theyve given me has increased dramatically from the original quote I was given years ago to now over {$70000.00} for the system. Ive inquired with them as to how theyve determined these prices and theyve been unwilling to be transparent with that process. Ive asked if they would identify the independent 3rd party that is determining the fair market value and they were unwilling to divulge that information stating that is was proprietary information. I dont believe Im the only person running into this issue with Tesla regarding their solar PPA agreements and I just want to be certain they are indeed giving me the fair market value price.

As part of our home refinance, we received information from XXXX XXXX that TESLA XXXX had reported an outstanding balance on our account of $ XXXX report appears on my XXXX Credit Report This is not correct as we have an account which requires us to pay monthly for electricity produced by the solar panels. In conversation with TESLA Customer Service, i was told that this amount is the amount I would pay if I cancelled the account. The amount is not paid monthly although the report from TESLA showed a {$3.00} per month payment for 190 months. The monthly bill we pay is only for electricity used and is in good standing as it is paid by direct deduction from my checking account. One person at TESLA mentioned that they could remove the amount so I could get the refinance ; however in one week I have had no reply from TESLA to my repeated inquires. In summary there is no billing or payment for the {$23000.00} This figure is an internal figure carried by TESLA that is not a current obligation and should be removed

Sometime later I was informed that XXXX bought out XXXX XXXX and my contract went along with it. XXXX has been no help, I can not even get in touch with them. I can not verify any dates or specifics because I want to request a copy of my contract but I can not get in touch with them! I am livid. XXXX has placed a lien on my home because of the panels and I can not even get in contact with them to plead my case. I pray that this helps some because I have not received any help at all from XXXX XXXX or XXXX. XXXX 's website sucks. For being a technological juggernaut, their website is terrible.

I placed an online order for a Tesla car. Reading through the website. They mentioned that they have {$250.00} non refundable fees, which I agreed to accept and wanted Tesla to finance the car. Their system would not let you continue with an order without first paying the {$250.00} then you can apply for financing. The website did not clearly indicate that approval for financing is not related to the {$250.00} non refundable deposit. I was denied credit and now i have choice of pay for the car cash or lose my {$250.00} deposit When I contacted Tesla, they stated that this is in the " agreement '' i clicked on to accept, which is really the fine print that no one reads, also the application designed to force you to pay the deposit before you get a decision on the financing. You can not even see your financing options or conditions before you pay that deposit. I think this might be legal by adding the fine print that no one reads but its unethical and a way to rob customers of a deposit.

Hello, We leased a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX beginning XX/XX/2023 from Tesla XXXX XXXX XXXX in Virginia. The lease agreement we signed with Tesla on XX/XX/XXXX explicitly states when Tesla provides your car 's delivery window to you, you have a window of 3 days to in which to schedule your delivery to take possession of the vehicle. Tesla informed us on Tuesday the XXXX that the car would arrive XX/XX/XXXX and that we had to take delivery of the vehicle that day. I pointed out this provision in the agreement several times to the dealer, to which they responded that they did not care and they would not give us the vehicle after the XXXX. Given this was the end of their quarter, this was a high pressure tactic to meet quarter sales targets and violated the lease agreement we had signed with Tesla by not providing us the appropriate window in which to take delivery of the vehicle. I've attached the lease agreement which stipulates this condition under the section " Delivery ; Transfer of Title ''.

Due to this incentive I removed the hold from my order and I took delivery of my vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX XXXX increased the amount to {$7500.00}, double what was initially offered to take delivery between XXXX XXXX XXXX. How is that fair? 4 days later to increase the amount of referral credit. I would have waited to take delivery until the following Saturday. I reached out to the customer service in which I was communicating with throughout the purchase process, and was unable to reach a settlement and was told I was given the best offer at the time. They mislead me to believe that I was getting the best deal in exchange for waiting till XXXX to take advantage of the full XXXX tax credit of {$7500.00}.

I had Tesla install solar panels on my house. When they installed the panels I financed a loan directly through Tesla for 50 % and put 50 % down. I have decided to sell my house so I need to payoff the loan and get the XXXX removed from my house. On XX/XX/XXXX Tesla sent my a pay off quote and on XX/XX/XXXX I wired {$15000.00} as required by the payoff quote. Since wiring the money to Tesla they won't update my account showing I paid and they will not even say they received the money. Tesla won't acknowledge that I paid and are still charging me the month payment amount. I call Tesla nearly daily and they say it is processing. When I first for the pay off quote they said it would take 5 business days to process, not 60+ days. This is preventing me from sell my house and as of now it just looks like Tesla stole {$15000.00} from me. I have already had a buyer walk away because I couldn't prove the loan was paid off.

Original CFPB complaint logged XXXX. Tesla responded to CFPB complaint, stating they resolved the issue and my lease was terminated on XX/XX/2022 without further recourse. I just received a notice from Tesla via text message indicating that my payment for XXXX was late, which is in error because I am no longer obligated to the lease. I logged into the Tesla portal and found no active cars. When I navigated to past cars, I found my original lease that says it ended on XX/XX/2022 but has an outstanding payment for XX/XX/2022. This needs to be rectified immediately to avoid unwarranted harm to my credit. Tesla does not respond to emails, nor do they send notifications that my email has been received. Therefore, it is unknown if they're actually working to resolve the issue. They only seem to respond to regulatory complaints. I emailed this concern to XXXX and XXXX without response or confirmation of receipt.

After Tesla XXXX XXXX passed inspection on XX/XX/2022, I was informed to pay my invoice. The invoice amount ( {$75000.00} ) exceeded the amount in the XXXX Purchase Agreement ( {$73000.00} ) accepted just 2 days prior. I contacted Tesla by email immediately ( XX/XX/2022 ) and receive a response on XX/XX/2022 indicating they would correct the invoice. I continued to receive messages/emails asking I pay the incorrect invoice. Each time I contacted Tesla to check on the status ( via phone - on XX/XX/2022, on XX/XX/2022, on XX/XX/2022, by email again on XX/XX/2022 ) they indicated they would correct the invoice - but no correction has been forthcoming. They have since removed the ability for me to make a payment, and are now threatening me by sending the account to collections, even though the issue is ENTIRELY due to their negligence/ineptitude/error.

I have paid in full a balance for fees related to the return of my leased vehicle to Tesla Motors. That debt was fully paid the day on which I timely returned the vehicle on XX/XX/XXXX. In spite of my payment of all outstanding liabilities, Tesla has repeatedly contacted me throughout the years for an additional identical amount for the same items that I paid for on XX/XX/XXXX. Tesla has since referred the matter to the debt collection company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. My account number with them is XXXX. XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX contacted me about the debt once by mail, on XX/XX/XXXX. They now threaten to damage my credit score for this invalid claim against me. Hi, I have a problem with returning my car to Tesla. On XX/XX/2022, I returned my leased car Tesla XXXX XXXX back to the dealership. On the pre-inspection, I've got a recommendation to change my rear tires since they were used. Before returning the car on XX/XX/2022, I changed my old tires to new ones. After a few days, I received an invoice where Tesla wanted to charge me for the old tires. I told them that I changed them to new ones. They send me photos of absolutely different cars ( I understood that because in the picture all tires were XXXX ). But I changed them to XXXX with the same characteristics as XXXX. After I attached to email the recipe from the tire shop and tell them that they are cheating with evidence. They stopped replying to my emails and I don't have any updates. Please, feel free to ask me any questions.

I paid XXXX XXXX and XXXX dollars to order a tesla model 3 AWD full self driving upgrade. The sales person asked if I wanted to secure financing with Tesla or their affiliated companies, I declined and told them I would secure my own financing. A couple of months went by and the TESLA sales team informed me my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I received a text message from the TESLA sales team informing me that I have a loan amount of XXXX dollar. I immediately called the sales team to inquire about the dollar loan. I spoke to a TESLA team member and he informed me that the XXXX dollar loan came from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and they put the money in an account. I was devasted and very heart broken. This public company went behind my back and applied for a loan using my information after I clearly told them I will secure my own funding.

Tesla Solar Bill : Bill Amount : {$1000.00} I tried to talk to Tesla to revised the contract because I am having hard ship to pay the energy bill. And now I can not afford it. They are keep adding the amount every month, even its not producing any energy during winter time. There is no solar light out. Its cloudy most of the winter and the day is short. Their Device is not functioning. They are keep calling and put it on my credit file. They call every day. I said I can not pay the bill BECAUSE MY INCOME HAS FALLEN AND until you revise the contract or you can take your Solar Panel back. They do not want to do either of them, THEIR MONITOR HAS GONE BAD ( NOT FUNCTIONING ) TO TRACK THE ENERGY USAGE, STILL THEY ARE SENDING ME A BILL EVERY MONTH. The company has already collected State and Federal Credits for themselves.

I have solar panels on my house through Solar City and tried to cancel with them initially because the panels were not working. I have been trying to cancel for years and have never been able to get a direct answer. Since Solar City has been taken over by Tesla it has been the same situation. I have emailed and called on numerous times with no assistance. The panels have not been working since I received them and I've been getting charged monthly for a service I'm not receiving. As right the total amount showing on my credit report is {$51000.00}. I spoke with Tesla they even said that the panels aren't even turned on in their systems. My ultimate goal is to have the panels removed from my property and the balance cancelled as the company has not met the terms of our agreement.

I was told on XX/XX/27 to allow 7-14 business days for them to correct the error with XXXX XXXX XXXX and close the errand loan. however, after the estimated time has lapsed, I reached out again asking for a resolution and still have not heard back. They can confirm that I do not own the vehicle the loan was taken out on, in fact it was sold to someone else who paid cash for the vehicle. I'm getting collection calls from XXXX XXXX XXXX and Tesla is telling me to ignore them and they are working on it. I need this loan closed and my credit to be corrected due to their financing error.

I purchased a house with a solar power purchase agreement with Solar City, ( now Tesla Energy ) lien on the title and assumed the remainder of the lease term. The contract stated that starting 5 years after the beginning of the agreement, there would be an option to buyout the system at fair market value. At the 5 year mark, I requested a buyout estimate and received one for {$21000.00}, which is more than the cost to install a new system. When I asked them to justify this they said it was a combination of the fair market value of the a cost approach and a discounted cash flow model from my payments to them. A discounted cash flow valuation of my payments is not the fair market value of the solar system and I believe it is grossly overstated.

How can the get away with not applying anything toward to principle and everything to interest. AND I was suppose to have a sent payment to pay monthly to pay this off, and I don't have that either. My monthly payments bounce all over the place. How can Tesla just put a different payment every month with NOTHING going toward the principle. They are worse than a loan shark. Please investigate their lending practices.

On XX/XX/2019 I purchased a new Tesla via Tesla Financing. I signed paperwork and took the car. Weeks later I was told they had an issue with the application. I found out they had lost my data. After many emails, long wait times, Tesla disabling my key when I needed it to drive, and other issues, it took them 2 months to resolve the issue only partially. I am a very well qualified buyer so there is no issue on my end. My temporary plates expire in less than two weeks and Tesla will not help me in finding a solution. They are not writing or calling me back. They do not communicate properly and in a timely manner with their customers. This negligence should not come without consequences.

I have a Power Purchase Agreement with Tesla that gives me the option to purchase the used solar system on my home at Fair Market Value as determined by an independent third party. Every time Ive inquired about purchasing the system it is Tesla, not an independent third party, that gives me a positive purchase price at what appears to be an inflated value. Ive requested that a 3rd party whose identity is known and agreed upon by both parties be hired to do an appraisal and provide a Fair Market Value at my own cost as stipulated by the contract but Tesla has repeatedly ignored this request, insisting their value theyve presented to me is from a third party whom they refuse to identify.

I have contacted Tesla Finance regarding my Tesla vehicle lease not appearing on my credit reports. They told me that they do not report to credit bureaus. I have no idea how that is legal. I am paying a {$2300.00} car lease payment every month and I want this information reported, earning me credit and showing my responsibility to repay large loans. The FCRA requires that furnishers of information as CRA ( credit reporting agencies ) are required to keep accurate information on a consumer report.

To Whom It May Concern, I signed up for PPA Lease ( Agreement ) with SolarCity, such agreement was never reported on my credit report until this year. SolarCity was acquired by Tesla. Such action is a violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and Truth in Lending Act. Regards, XXXX

We emailed and spoke to Tesla finance and they did not resolve our issue. They do not have our loan balance on our monthly statements. You have to call each time you want to know what your account balance is. When you call they have you leave a voice mail and will return your call later. They will also not allow us to pay extra each month on our monthly loan payment. You can only pay the monthly contractual payment.
