With COVID, I found myself in a financial bind on XX/XX/XXXX, the only option for me was to take the loan ( {$400.00} ) at 600 % from Tan Oaks Lending. My paycheck was deposited in my account after XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I called the company based in UT at XXXX XXXX PST to pay this loan off.
The representative was EXTREMELY rude, then proceeded to tell me that the payment would not be processed till tomorrow. Upon requesting to speak to her manager, she continued to be rude and made no effort to connect me to him. The Rude Rep Ms. XXXX aside, to not process payment the same day is EXTORTION and FINANCIAL XXXX! Most financial institutions have a sane day cutoff at XXXX XXXX EST. Further more, I was not informed that they would hold the loan for an extra day to pillage, from the struggling!
How can the FTC and CFPB allow this, it is no wonder the poor in America are getting poor, it because of financial XXXX like Tan Oaks Lending. If Tan Oaks Lending, their executives and management are too incompetent to have a payment processed the same day before XXXX XXXX EST, then shame on CFPB for allowing them to be in business, still shame in the CFPB where companies are allowed to charge 600 % and upwards on a loan, how is some ever to get out such a hole. You are the government, supposed to be for the people, by the people!

I took out a payday loan back in XXXX or XXXX for XXXX $ I have not been contacted until a couple of weeks ago by someone saying he was a lawyer and that I could go to jail if I do not repay because my ACH is considered a hot check and its illegal and that I had until the end of XXXX to repay the entire XXXX $ well today is the last day of XXXX its the XXXX and I have been called by this man saying hes a lawyer 5 times back to back.
