In XXXX I leased a Chevrolet Cobalt with XXXX for the period of three years and paid for the vehicle upfront. Two years later, I joined the XXXX XXXX and had my father return the leased Cobalt at the appropriate time and place. My father did just that. Learning that the Cobalt was delivered on time is where the story ended for me. However, in XXXX, Synergetic Communications ( Syncom ) contacted me in a harassing manner demanding that I owed {$2300.00} for the Chevrolet Cobalt. There was no additional information provided, but I quickly forwarded the information on to my father regardless to see if he could shed some light on where this " debt '' may be derived from. My father reported back to me that he had spoken with Synergetic Communications, and that they told him that they would take care of the accounting error. This is where the story starts to effect me. XXXX XXXX, XXXX, I was contacted by Synergetic Communications again in regards to this debt of which there is no explanation. Additionally, this is eight years after the vehicle was returned and XXXX has since gone out of business. XXXX has merged with XXXX XXXX, but XXXX XXXX refuses to assist me with this issue. They have told me that " our ( XXXX XXXX ) third party collection agency ( Synergetic Communications ) is handling this account, and there is nothing they can do to help me delete this debt from my record. '' After repeatedly trying to work this misunderstanding out with Synergetic Communications, I was told by the collections agency that " there is nothing we ( Synergetic Communications ) can do because we report directly to Ally Financial. We do not even have the authority to report to the credit bureaus. We report directly to XXXX XXXX. '' I have recently looked into my credit report, and I was shocked to see that there is a Charge Off from XXXX of {$2300.00}. This account was taken care of many years ago. Furthermore, XXXX XXXX has no information for me in their system. The only information XXXX XXXX has at this point on my supposed account is what I had personally given them when I opened a complaint regarding this debt. Bottom line : Before filing this complaint with CFPB, I have attempted to have this debt expunged from my record by explaining to both Syncom and XXXX XXXX that this is debt is the result of an accounting error made eight years after the vehicle was leased ( paid in full ). Both parties refuse to help me, they both continue to advise me that I must speak to the other to get this resolved, and neither of their management representatives has offered any clarity on this matter. I have read other consumer complaints regarding XXXX XXXX and Synergetic Communications. It seems as though I am not alone in my experience of the unethical business practices these XXXX companies engage in to make a buck. My credit worthiness has suffered tremendously as a result of this Charge Off that was reported to the credit bureaus. I did not accrue this debt. If I am unable to resolve this issue with the help of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, I am prepared to pursue this matter with an attorney because of personal integrity as well as holding these XXXX companies to decent ethical standards. Note : As I mentioned, I gave XXXX quite a bit of information when I opened a complaint with them regarding this account. I suspect they will try to pawn this issue off to Synergetic Communications, but prior to opening the complaint, Ally Financial had no information regarding the debt when I gave them my Social Security Number and full name.

On XX/XX/2023, Synergetic Communications Inc. responded to the initial CFPB complaint with a document that proves I do not owe this debt but they also did not mention they are immediately seizing all collection activities. This violates multiple of my federally protected FCRA and FDCPA rights under the law. The original dispute is below : Reference : XXXX I received a letter via email on XX/XX/2023 ( dated XX/XX/2023 ), from Synergetic Communication Inc. It incorrectly stated I owe a debt of {$1000.00} to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. This puts Synergetic Communication Inc in multiple violations of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) and Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ). I do not owe this debt. On XX/XX/2023, I disputed this debt with a certified mail letter ( USPS Tracking # XXXX ). Synergetic Communication Inc. received the letter but never responded in the 30-day window. I do not owe a debt to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( FDCPA ) states debt collectors can't use false, deceptive, or misleading practices. This includes misrepresentations about the debt, including : * The amount owed * That the person is an attorney if they are not * False threats to have you arrested * Threats to do things that can not legally be done * Threats to do things that the debt collector has no intention of doing '' This is a debt I do not owe, is uncollectible, and Synergetic Communication Inc is making threats that legally can not be done and they don't have intent on doing. Synergetic Communication Inc has also committed a series of Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) violations, mentioned below. Violations : 15 U.S. Code 1692c ( a ) Communication with the consumer generally - Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. 15 U.S. Code 1692b ( 2 ) Any debt collector communicating with any person other than the consumer for the purpose of acquiring location information about the consumer shall not state that such consumer owes any debt. 15 U.S. Code 1692b ( 5 ) Not use any language or symbol on any envelope or in the contents of any communication effected by the mails or telegram that indicates that the debt collector is in the debt collection business or that the communication relates to the collection of a debt. 15 U.S. Code 1692d ( 2 ) - The use of obscene or profane language or language the natural consequence of which is to abuse the hearer or reader. I am seeking the following : According to 15 USC 1681n ( a ) ( 1 ) any actual damages sustained by the customer as a result of the failure or damages of not less than {$100.00} and not more than {$1000.00} ; I want XXXX XXXX per violation ( {$4000.00} total ) or immediately stop all collection activities, stop reporting to all three credit bureaus and provide proof in writing. Received letter in the mail from Synergetic Communication Inc. claiming they were a third party trying to collect a debt originally owed to XXXX XXXX, but their current client is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for {$570.00} but they would accept {$110.00} to resolve the issue. I have never had an unpaid debt and have never interacted with either of these companies. There is no additional information about the debt other than the statute of limitations on collecting the debt is expired. A search of the internet and the XXXX complaint database show hundreds of complaints for this company trying to collect debts from people that do not own the money, often followed up by harassing phone calls, though I have not yet experienced this as I just received the letter. On or about XX/XX/XXXX, Synergetic Communication , Inc sent a letter claiming a debt was owed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, whom no longer lives within the United States of America. This was the 3rd or 4th letter sent to this address ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, IL XXXX ). This debt is apparently related to an Auto Loan which was surrendered to the Bank in XXXX, during the Financial Crisis and " Great Recession. '' XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and myself ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) were married at that time and moved to XXXX as a family. We attempted to : 1. Settle this debt with the Auto LIEN holder, by offering a cash payment of {$4000.00} against the loan, with surrendering the car to the bank. The bank refused/ did not reply to multiple letters / phone calls. 2. Because we did not have sufficient resources due to the financial crisis, we elected to stop payment and let the bank repossess the vehicle. 3. Within 1 year, the bank offered to accept ~ {$2500.00} to settle the loan, which we refused ; we did not have the resources at that time. 4. We updated all financial institutions with our current address in XXXX, as well as the Internal Revenue Service. This loan was charged-off between XXXX. Collections ceased at that time. I now have a collections letter claiming that XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is living in a house in XXXX, and that she still owes a settlement. I dispute the claim, on her behalf, and with her permission, because : 1. The statute of limitations has expired for collecting this debt. I took out a loan from XXXX XXXX XXXX in person located in XXXX, Wi. Shortly after I took the loan I became unable to pay them. This first started harrassing phone calls from them it got so bad I had to reach out to someone to have them quit calling me and they stopped, then they called me by phone again after they were told to stop either by your company or another consumer place I am unsure on who helped me get them to stop calling. So, a few years after all the calling went away I received a paper in the mail that said I could pay them off for a lesser amount then I had taken out ( a settlement offer from a company they hired to collect the debt from me ). I finally had some money to use towards debt and paid the amount offered in the settlement letter in the amount of {$210.00} I still have the document and the confirmation number as well as the person that took the payment and told me that this debt would be removed from my account within 30 days. About a week after I paid the debt in full as offered by the company XXXX XXXX XXXX hired to collect from me all of a sudden I started getting new amnts owed put on to my credit report from XXXX XXXX XXXX saying I wowed them XXXX plus dollars and making my credit score fall low i did a dispute and asked the credit Experian to have them remove that from my report because I have paid them in full. It was removed, less then a week later here XXXX XXXX XXXX comes again adding comments and dollar amounts to my credit report after they were told by credit Experian to remove the dollar amount this has gone on for almost 4 months because they keep adding comments and dollar amounts to my credit report my score is falling and i and my elderly mother are facing homelessness because my score keeps getting knocked down we are trying to find a place to live because my landlord has to sell his home and every single time i dispute XXXX XXXX XXXX they are told to take it down off my credit and then less then a week later that back at it again. This needs to stop and XXXX XXXX XXXX needs to be penalized I will take this matter to court if I have to I've reached out to the better business bearua, credit bureau, and the do not disturb phone line and I still keep getting harrased and threatened with dollar amount I do not owe. Total debt i owed was XXXX and I took the offer they asked the collection agency to offer me and I'm still being harrasssed. their has to be laws against this behavior especially being able to get into my credit report and contiounsly add things i have disputed this matter with the credit places XXXX, XXXX. at least 20 times... ..20 times!!

On XXXX XXXX in a pre-recorded conversation with XXXX XXXX Services Rep stated that my account was closed as vehicle was sold at a auction in XXXX XXXX, California around XX/XX/XXXX and XXXX XXXX vehicle was sold for {$20000.00}. I respectfully requested for a accommondation on my ADA Disability Act under Department of Justice and allow me to trade vehicle for another vehicle that is more affordable and make affordable payments because of financial hardships, Disability and Covi19 Family Pandemic issues. On XX/XX/XXXX I've submitted CFPB complaint # XXXX against XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX ) which reported me to the credit monitoring agencies on XX/XX/XXXX as having a " major delinquency '' for me not paying them {$100.00} without ever sending me a bill or any other form of notification about it. I found out about this fact only on XX/XX/XXXX from a credit report sent to me by my financial institution where I'm trying to refinance my mortgage. Since then I've tried to mitigate the issue with XXXX via numerous telephone conversations where their representatives have admitted having a wrong house number for my address, which is not true because I have a letter from XXXX accompanying a title of purchase by me from them previously leased vehicle dated XX/XX/XXXX with my correct address. This is a classical case of XXXX practicing " parking the small debt with a debt collector and reporting a consumer to the credit agency without expending resources to contact a targeted consumer who'll find out about the debt only when doing some activity requiring a credit report. When on XX/XX/XXXX first contacting XXXX via telephone about this matter I was transferred without a warning to a collection agent who initially didn't clearly identify herself but collected all my personally identifiable information. Only at the end of the conversation I found out that who she was. I asked her why didn't her collection agency never send me a bill which was reported to them according to the credit report on XX/XX/XXXX. She said that they had a wrong house number for my address on their files. How is this my fault? After this phone call I received a first ever letter ( attached ) dated XX/XX/XXXX from this debt collection agency called Synergetic Communication, Inc. ( SCI ) demanding for me to pay {$100.00} where the Original Creditor is XXXX, without any explanation what I was billed for. I have not received a bill explaining the {$100.00} charge from either company to this date. I did contact SCI via telephone, left a voicemail identifying myself, stating the issue and asking to call me back. No one has called me back.

The latest mail was received on XX/XX/2022 with an offer to pay a discount offer of {$610.00}. Each mail I get keeps offering a lower discount payment. The problem is that this company is trying to collect on an account for a XXXX card from over 20 years ago that I never had. I do currently have a XXXX card and called XXXX to see if this collection attempt is legitimate and they have no record of my name in their system going back that far, as I know I didn't possess a XXXX card that many years ago. This letter contains specific language stating that if I act on this debt in any way via making a payment, sign a paper admitting that I owe the debt and promising to pay, or sign a paper in which I give up " waive '' my rights to stop the debt collector from suing me in court to collect the debt. There is no way I will contact this company in any way so that they can use me contacting them to open up an entirely new debt collection that will last for the next 10 years until the statute of limitations expires again ( according to their bogus claims of me owing this debt ), thus opening the opportunity for these scam artists to sue me. Now, if I attach the letter I received and it is sent to this scammer, will that constitute them reopening this account to sue me? I would hope that is not the case as I'm just simply providing documentation of this company sending me this bogus collection mail document. Now, this was all premised by them saying that this debt is too old for me to be sued due to statute of limitations and I can't be required to pay it through a lawsuit. This nonsense harassment from this scam company has to be stopped. I can't imagine how many other people receive these same letters trying to scare them into submitting to their scare tactics. I have an auto loan originally with XXXX that has now been charged off and closed for {$15000.00}. I contacted Synergetic communications and spoke with a manager name XXXX and I had XXXX loss recovery rep on the line as well within this conference call. I told synergetic manager that I want them to delete my financial information originally I gave them as a payment agreement that I set up initially a day prior to get this debt resolved and to have credit updated ultimately in the end. Upon me finding out that Synergetic doesnt do credit reporting., I then preceded to tell them to cease and desist calling me and send account back over to XXXX for me to work directly with them because they are the original creditor and who I actually owe. I tried to make arraignments originally with XXXX in the past but I wasnt able at that time due to XXXX XXXX and no longer working. I and the XXXX rep was told by Synergetic supervisor XXXX that they ceased the calling and communication on the account and that it depends on when XXXX pull the account back which they never will, and later finding she was somewhat lying. She also did not verify with me o. That call specifically if they deleted my financial information of my debit card that I had given them. After getting off that call the XXXX rep confirmed and verified with me that XXXX have closed the account and charged it off after reselling the vehicle and no longer proceeded with collection efforts and that Synergetic bought the debt from XXXX as a third party collection. She also stated to me that if Synergetic doesnt collect on debt that they would in turn sell the debt to another debt collection agency because XXXX is no longer involved and credit reporting may not even be updated even after payments made to third party collection agency because XXXX no longer report to credit bureau after account closure, write-off and debt selling of which I would incur problem with credit updating in the future.ed with this account by letting me know ultimately where I stand with XXXX directly.

Synergetic Communications., Inc. sent me a very disturbing letter dated XX/XX/XXXX that I have attached where they requested the payment of a debt for a car that was repossessed in XX/XX/XXXX because of my illness that led to a XXXX. The collector claims that if I do n't pay the debt or contact them within 30 days, they could sue me, as stated in the letter. The debt is past the debt collection as per the following : Statute of Limitations. Texas ' four-year statute of limitations on debts works alongside the Texas Debt Collection Act. The limited time period means that debt collectors can not sue individuals in an attempt to collect debts that are more than four years past due. The debt was reported and closed on XX/XX/XXXX more than four years ago. I also do not know where or how thee credit agency received my information, I have never heard of or spoken with them before and the fact that they contacted me with such a harsh letter has affected my XXXX terribly. I Withdrew due to the lack of quality education I was receiving, and the expensive tuition charges that were raised significantly since I had enrolled with no legitimate charges. A few months later in XX/XX/XXXX, I learned of the probation of XXXX and upon further research I had learned out that they were suspected a fraud. Later, I am a class member of the current and previous investigations and due to an automatic student loan forgiveness and also class action award due to the fraud and litigation against XXXX XXXX XXXX, and XXXX for defrauding federal grant and loan programs and the agency that approved its accreditation. The debt was 13 years ago. I am eligible for borrowers defense regarding my loans which also happen to be with serviced with XXXX and fed loans which also are in litigation for fraud. This system is corrupt. I called XXXX last Monday to obtain any transcripts that they may still have available on my file before all campuses are permanently closed. In XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX I decided to go back to school and I was contacted by a recruiter from XXXX XXXX XXXX about attending their University and take online classes. I had just lost my job and was under a lot of stress about loosing my home and my vehicle. I was called everyday by the recruiter pressuring me to enroll in their school. I had no idea how online classes worked and had not been in school for 20 years. I was a single parent and I was hoping that with the financial aid I could pay for my housing until I was able to get another job. Well they enrolled me in their school and did not show me how the online campus work so I was completely lost and when I tried to reach out to the recruiter who I had been speaking with for weeks I was never able to get back in touch with her and the number that I had been using to contact her was no longer accessable. I then was told by someone in the financial aid department that I was awarded financial aid for the semester and I never attended any classes. I immediately contacted the loan service provider XXXX and let them know that I had been pressured into signing up for this school and I never attended any classes and I also had withdrew from the University. I recieved a letter from Synergetic Communication , Inc. today. They are located at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX # XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX. The letter stated that I owed {$8700.00} from XXXX with a 7 digit account number. I do have 4 accounts with XXXX. One paid in full a few years ago, current and closed at my request. Two, paid in full, current and open. One with a small balance, current, recently paid and open. I do not have any accounts with XXXX that even have that high of a balance nor do they have 8 digit account numbers. I contacted XXXX and received a recording to leave a voicemail. Not knowing if I had fraud under my name I checked XXXX and found no accounts past due with these balances for XXXX associated with me. I then called XXXX and spoke with customer service, collections and fraud departments. While on the phone with them I again checked my accounts with XXXX and as stated above found them all to be in order. No department at XXXX could even find that I have ever had an account with them that 1. went to collections or 2. for this amount and the collections dept. verified that they do not use 7 digit account numbers for an account or a collection account. This is a frraudulent company trying to collect falsified debts or debts barred by time constraints which is against the law. Luckily for me I am an informed consumer who also at one time worked for XXXX and underwent extensive FCRA training. This company needs to be fined and forced out of business as they are preying on the uninformed.

During my first semester, I received a Failure for Incomplete ( FI ), because I participated in mandatory XXXX training and was unable to take the final exams. Because of this failure, the XXXX recouped the TA money it spent on my courses. The money was taken out of my pay over a 12-month period, ending in XXXX. Every year, I get a collection notice, and every year I refute their collection attempt with actual documentation from the XXXX Education system, showing that the money was recouped by the XXXX. The letter states that I can dispute this debt 1 of 3 ways. To call them, write them a letter, or notify them electronically. I called on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX and after holding for a little while, I was automatically transferred to a voicemail and asked to leave a message. I left a detailed message including the reference number listed on this letter, my full name, and return phone call. No one has called me back. If they say they made an attempt, that is false because I have had no voicemails left either. After no response, I went to their electronic option at www.syncomcorp.net/company/contact us and filled out their dispute section there. This was done on XX/XX/XXXX @ XXXX. I received a collection letter today out of the blue. Upon reading it the first time, I did not recognize any part of the loan or companies they are representing. I thought there must be some mistake. After much thought, if this is indeed a loan taken out by me, then its for a auto loan I aquired in XXXX, CO, in XXXX. As far as I can remember, it could have been XXXX XXXX XXXX, and ended with the vehicle being repossessed for years later in XXXX. I never heard from the company again as they were located in Tennessee and I was then living in XXXX, CO. As per everything that I have been reading, you can see this is way past the statue of limitations. I have no idea why they would even try to collect on a debt that old? My next plan is to utilize my rights and request validity of the debt. However, I wanted to inform whoever I could of the work, time, and effort it is going to take to resolve this matter which is absolutely ridiculous. I received a validation letter on XX/XX/2022 from Synergetic Communications.They are representing another collection agency, XXXX XXXX in an attempt to collect on a debt unknown to me. They seem to have checked all the boxes prescribed by the CFPB regarding the format of the letter. What they appear to be doing is attempting to deceive people by : 1. Placing a small paragraph on the back of the letter, in small print, explaining that this loan is uncollectible through the courts because of the Statute of Limitations on the loan. The paragraph is not upfront like the other items in the letter, in an attempt to conceal this information from the recipient. 2. As this debt can not be collected through the court, Synergetic Communications attempts to stress and intimidate people into a blunder which might cause the debt to be reinstated, thus manipulating people in an unfair, underhanded manner. 3. This letter preys upon people who are ignorant of their rights, ignorant of the laws that protect them, particularly the elderly. For example, if a person was aware enough to discover the small paragraph on the back of the letter, they might conclude they didn't need to do anything as the debt is " uncollectible '', in court. Synergetic Communications does not go on to explain if they receive no response, other harassing measures will be taken by the company.

Both the business 's that the debt was aquired from made errors and were fraudalently handled by a phone team of social justice warriors who kept me on hold and never did have the correct amounts. This company continues to harass me and leave me threatening voicemails over a loan that was previously taken out with " XXXX XXXX. '' I have advised Synergetic Communications ( the debt collector in this case ) that I received a letter from the STATE OF FLORIDA that XXXX, XXXX D/B/A XXXX XXXX, is unlicensed in this State and I do not have to pay back the loan as it was illegal to be issued to me at all, which I was not made aware of prior to taking the loan. I received a letter in the mail, addressed to " XXXX XXXX '' but our address. From Syergetic Communication , Inc. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX. It said we owe XXXX XXXX {$950.00} but that we could " settle '' by XX/XX/20 for {$280.00}. We do not owe that to XXXX, we never have and never carry a balance on anything. Called XXXX to make sure we were good and they said we were fine and they did a search under mine and my husband 's socials and there weren't any other current accounts for us. Checked credit report- everything was fine. And even checked our credit union account and that was fine as well. The address we are supposed to mail the payment to is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, ID XXXX. I looked up this company and the XXXX shows them doing this to many other people as well. On XXXX2020 I received a letter from Synergetic Communications Inc ACCT # XXXX on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX ACCT # XXXX attempting to collect a debt not owed or known of. This is a complaint as this company is in violation of 15 USC 1692c ( a ) -Communication with the consumer. Generally without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt. As neither company have no written consent from the consumer or judgment from a court competent jurisdiction they have blatantly violated the FDCPA. To further there is no known or first hand knowledge or relationship with the two companies mentioned. This is TRESPASS and invasion of the consumers legally protected interest ( PRIVACY ). These companies are liable for violations under 15USC 1692ka1. XXXX was involve in a lawsuit due to fraud overdrawn charges to a massive of clients in their bank accounts. If I am not mistaken this lawsuit took place between the years XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. My account was part of this lawsuit. Due to a loss XXXX XXXX sent refund checks to their clients. Unfortunately, I misplaced my check and found it a week after deadline to cash it. After this issue I find out this amount was in a consumer report collection and I was unable to open an account at a Federal Credit Union. I presented copy of the check and other documents I was able to find along with my statement but it was failure. I was unable to clear this collection. After 2 or 3 years I received in XXXX 2015 a settlement letter from Synergetic Communication , Inc. I feel exhausted disputing for this amount, XXXX have a horrible customer service when it comes to dispute these type of situations or they can not accept the truth. Ill be contacting the FBI. Yesterday I received a letter from a collection agency Synergetic communication, inc stating that I owe {$1100.00} to XXXX XXXX for a debt originally belonging to XXXX. I never heard of this company and theres vague information in this letter regarding this mysterious debt. I searched online and this company seems like they are scamming a lot of people. Hello- I have been mailing letters, calling and emailing and have not received a response. I spoke with a representative in XXXX regarding a settlement letter I received for my account and settled my account with her that day. The amount was {$1500.00}, on XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with Syncom ( the debt collector ) in XXXX and the lady stated it is showing as settled and sometimes it takes time and if it was not showing by XX/XX/XXXX, to do a dispute with XXXX. I do not like that I was lied to and possibly stolen from. Why would the representative state that the account was settled in full, and simply take my money and never report it as settled. I am a victim of Identity Theft and this what happened. On XXXX, XXXX, after I pulled my credit report, I found out multiple accounts that did not belong to me, right after doing my own research, months later, to be exact on XXXX, XXXX, I submitted my first dispute to the credit bureaus, after about three weeks a received replies from them requesting me to file a Identity Theft Police Report, so I did. It is impossible for Synergetic Communications INC to collect a debt without a written contract and also to try to collect on a debt which is past the statue of limitations in the state of Texas. Texas law requires 4 years for collections on repossessions. Synergetic Communications INC has been sued multiple times for trying to collect on debt that is past the statue of limitation date. I received a letter dated XX/XX/2020 from a Synergetic Communication , Inc. that says they are trying to collect debt originally owed to XXXX but now owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX , XXXX. I do not owe any debt to XXXX, something I verified by calling XXXX and speaking to customer service representatives and a representative from the Recovery Department. My credit reports back this up. The letter states that unless I dispute the validity of the debt, the collector will assume the debt is valid. I don't think that is legal since I never owed the debt in the first place. The letter states that I can request in writing that the debt be disputed and that they will send me a copy of the judgment or verification. This company has called my phone multiple times under different phone numbers and using different agents requesting that I confirm my name, address, and DOB. When I requested why the need for my personal information, they only state that it is a " personal matter between myself and my mom ( they use her given name instead of stating XXXXyour mom ' ) ''. '' I have never dealt with Synergetic or with Novea or with XXXX XXXX. All the account numbers on the letter are bogus. My name is not on the letter. The letter invites me to dispute the validity of the debt. But I do not enter into dealings with outfits that fabricate debts. The letter is no mistake. As a matter of principle I do not carry debts. In the last ten years my only debts were on our house ( to a bank ) and our car ( to the manufacturer ), and both were paid off eight years ago. Every time I call this company and ask for proof that I've been making payments, all they send is that I've made a {$10.00} and the date it was made. I was making payments in 6 month increments because they couldn't set up a payment plan and then once it ended they never called to restart it or even send a letter. I received a letter in the mail dated XX/XX/2021 from Synergetic Communication , Inc., stating that I owed {$1800.00} to a client with the name " XXXXXXXX XXXX '', and that the amount had been placed for collection. I have zero knowledge of this whatsoever, and have never had an account with " XXXXXXXX XXXX ''. The letter goes on to state that this alleged " debt '' is too old to be the basis of a lawsuit against me as the statute of limitations has expired. I have also received threatening phone calls, though the person on the line never gives the name of the company, stating that I owe money to a collection agency. These calls have even targeted my family members. I suspect these calls to also have come from Synergetic Communication , Inc.
