After not receiving the results I was expecting from the servicer assigned to my loan, I called Student Debt USA after seeing their Ad on the evening of XX/XX/XXXX. I spoke with XXXX XXXX. I told her about the student loans my husband and I have and asked about the PSLF program. We were advised to consolidate the loans. I have learned ( now 4 years later ) that this was bad advice since consolidating our loans disqualified me from receiving forgiveness for my loan. I am a XXXX and my husband is self-employed. I am now in the process of trying to undo this. About a month of doing business with Student Debt USA I made attempts to contact them but could never get anyone on the phone. When I finally spoke with XXXX XXXX, I told him that I did not appreciate doing business through text messaging. When I call them, I expect to get a call back. After numerous complaints to them about this, I continued to receive text messages and emails in lieu of a phone call. Whenever I call I get a voice message. Whenever I email, I receive an immediate message that says " Hi there! thank you for your recent inquiry with Student Debt USA. " We have received your email and will be in touch within 24 business hours. You can also text us at XXXX or call us at XXXX. Thanks, and please see our special referral offer below to make some easy cash! Regards, Student Debt USA '' I have filed a complaint with the XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and so again I learned that this doesn't hold them accountable as long as Student Debt USA provides a response of which they did on XX/XX/XXXX. The only time we would hear from them is when it was time for recertification but if we ever have questions that is the problem. I sent an email to XXXX on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX and to The Processing Team XXXX on Thursday, XX/XX/XXXX. Today is Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX way pass 24 hours and I have yet to receive any response. I have tried to reach them at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX which is no longer in service.

Hi, In XX/XX/2019, a company called, XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX reached out to me to assist me with my eligibility for student loan debt relief. I spoke to XXXX XXXX, who no longer works there and was promised that if l paid {$1200.00}, in installments, I was promised that XXXX would handle any and all documentation regarding my repayment process and that did not happen. XXXX did not even have the ability to do so as they transferred the loan to XXXX less than one year after our agreement. I would like to be refunded the {$1200.00} l paid for services l was promised and never received. They called using the name XXXX but the withdrawals were made to XXXX XXXX and Student Debt USA, which they claim they only contract with but do not actually charge the clients. Now almost 5 years later, l have found the fraudulent businesses that charged me {$1200.00} to process all the necessary paperwork regarding the repayment of my loans. I was told it would be taken care of by and that did not happen and l would like my money returned. The process departments of all three of these businesses have never returned my calls or emails that l sent. I am now aware of the unethical and potentially unlawful practices of the scamming companies and would just like my money returned. It is a great deal of money to my family and l and especially during this time we do not have money to lose at the hands of dishonest people making illegitimate promises. Any help regarding this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, XXXX XXXX

Student Debt USA stated they could help me get my defaulted student loans out of defaut and into rehabilitation process, they are scammers and lied. I informed them I wanted to enter the PSL program as a XXXX XXXX XXXX. I sent them over tax returns, W2s/Utility bills/ medical bills and more. I made several qualifying payments & was told to wait for the collection agency to turn my defaulted loans over to them. After several emails, they stated my loans were now back w/DOE, they lied. I contacted the Dept Of Education and they stated they never recieved any correspondence from Student Debt USA. My Debt Collector, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX stated they never recieved anything as well. The company placed their information email & contact number under my profile on the eddebt website. This was very frustrating as during this time my mom was battling XXXX XXXX and needed care. After recieveing all my personal information and payments they just simply dissapeared into the wind. They appear to be scammers and should be shut down immeditaley. They false advertise and have no intention of honoring their business practise as stated on their still avaibale website. In this day and age in America this is terrible that companies are allowed to continue operating on vulnerable people student loan holders and take advantage of people who have sometimes no hope.

I started working with Student Debt USA XXXX years ago. They promised me they could get my monthly loan payments lower than I could working through the Federal Student Loan agency. I now know that is not true.I could have received the same payment by managing my own student loan. They also told me the best thing I could do was to consolidate my student loans, which I did. I now know this impacts my loan forgiveness plan. They were also taking {$35.00} out of my account every month, even over the last XXXX years when there was no loan processing necessary. I have tried to contact them several times over the last couple of months with no response. I finally sent them an email, XX/XX/2022, requesting that they call me within a week or I would stop payments. They did not call me, but they withdrew XXXX payments ( {$35.00} x XXXX = {$100.00} ) in XXXX, XXXX Apparently, trying to get as much money as they could before I stopped payments. Employees I worked with at Student Debt USA were XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, and XXXX XXXX. This is only my first complaintI will be telling anyone / agency that will listen. Student Debt USA misrepresented their services and stole thousands of dollars from me.

I was contacted a couple months ago by XXXX at Student Debt USA. She wanted to take over my student loan debt and provide a way for my loan to be forgiven after so many years of paying on the debt, All I had to do is pay Student Debt USA {$1000.00} in ten monthly payments, then several years at {$35.00} per month for the period of time required to have the loan forgiven. Like a fool I agreed to accept Student Debt 's assistance. I have since paid them {$200.00} total. I called my student loan holder, XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) when I didn't receive any paperwork from Student Debt USA and was told that they ( SDU ) were taking money for a free service that I had been enrolled in through XXXX for years. I was advised to make a complaint against Student Debt USA with several government agencies which included this bureau.
