XX/XX/2020 I agreed to have a third party to handle my Federal Student loans. Unknown to me they were not a legitimate or trusted company. The Company Student Apex told me that they will help consolidate my federal student loans, help lower my principle, and help me out of delinquency. I agreed to allow them to do this.
On XX/XX/2020, XX/XX/2020, XX/XX/2020, XX/XX/2020, XX/XX/2020, and XX/XX/2020 {$190.00} was removed from my account under the assumption that Student Apex was transferring the funds to my Federal Student Loans. Upon returning to the States after the summer I began reviewing my Student loans and discovered that my loan were still in forbearance. I called my Loan Servicer to gather information and additionally discovered that they had not received and funds in the last 6 months for Student Apex. The total amount that was withdrawn from my account from this company totals {$1100.00}.
Again, after making several attempts at contacting Student Apex via phone and email I called my bank and cancelled my card. Additionally I placed a fraud alert on my account starting XX/XX/2020

I have been called about repayment of my student loan from a different service to find out it must be a scam. The first number I programmed in the phone is no longer in service. I had gotten a text today saying my payment is due in 2 days. The number that they gave today is XXXX XXXX XXXX. The text also tells me that it is student Apex. What is the best way to stop there payments?
