This complaint is not about a specific loan but about the advertising that continues to come to my home and my Veteran friends and clients. I am a XXXX XXXX and I have to continually explain to my Veteran Friends what these flyers are advertising. The particular flyer received in the mail advertises 2.75 % FIXED in bold print. Absolutely no where on the page does it tell me what kind of VA loan it is. It certainly makes me think that it is a 30 yr fixed and it nowhere mentions an arm. It also states that I can get " Cash Out for Any Reason '' and that " No Employment Necessary. '' This particular flyer came from : Stonebridge Lending Inc. NMLS # XXXX, CA Bureau of Real Estate # XXXX. I know you have greater things to deal with, but I get this kind of thing in the mail all the time. All of my friends who are Vets get this kind of mail. Is there anything that can be done to hold these companies accountable for deceptive advertising just to get someone to call?

I continuously receive junk mail from Stonebridge Lending Inc. in XXXX, CA in official envelopes. The envelope reads " URGENT DELIVERY DATED MATERIAL IMMEDIATE RESPONSE '' and that it is from the " Office of XXXX XXXX XXXX, Confidential Documents ''. That tells me it is important mail from the government, so when I open it up and see its nothing but ANOTHER VA refinance, then I am annoyed. I called the company and they wont return my calls. When I complained to another company, they told me to report them to the VA. The VA told me to submit a complaint here. You CAN NOT send people mail in envelopes addressed like this, I 'm pretty sure that is illegal. Thank you for your time.
