My first mortgage payment was due on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I made a partial payment ( principal and escrow amount ) to my account. This is problem 1, as I then received something from XXXX XXXX stating Stockton Mortgage had placed something on my account and my credit score dropped. They made reference to me making a partial payment ( which I am entitled to do, and their system allowed it ). On XXXX I logged on to my account to make the remaining payment. On line I was denied as the system said I must make the full monthly payment. I then called the provided and I was told they would make adjustments and to call back on XX/XX/XXXX or XX/XX/XXXX to make the remaining payment, as they had to fix my initial payment in the system. Well on XX/XX/XXXX I logged in and the system states " your account is not eligible for the one time payment option ''. However, one time payment is an option on the website. I, or any consumer for that matter should have the option to make a payment on mortgage at any time. There are multiple studies and thousands of articles that prove making a biweekly mortgage payment reduces the amount of interest and the length of the term of the loan. So why is that I, or any other consumer of theirs, must make a 1 time payment for the full amount? That is not consumer friendly by any stretch of the means. I filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney Generals office and since that time I have been blocked from making one time payments on my mortgage. So now i have to call and pay {$11.00} each time i want to make a payment? I'm being penalized for questioning my rights as a consumer. I was told over the phone by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX that I am only allowed to make the full payment. Any partial payment will be applied to escrow or principal, but will not count towards my monthly payment. How is that legal? On the Stockton Mortgage payment website they give several examples of making payment and biweekly payments is one of them. yet I was told I do not qualify for biweekly payments. What is the criteria? I qualify for a loan but can't make biweekly payments? Now I can't even make one time payments to my account on the principal amount. Something about this is not right. I should have the right to make payments to my account at any time. I'm not asking for hardship. I'm not asking for Covid relief payments. I am simply asking for my right to make payments on my account that will fall within the necessary billing cycle to keep my account current. I am asking for my right to make those payments that will allow me due process to have the option to pay my interest down early and the term of my mortgage off early. The company has taken all my rights. When I complain then Stockton Mortgage retaliates by punishing me and requiring me to call and make over the phone payments for a fee of {$11.00} and then they make my credit report that I made partial payment, ( although the payment was made early before the due date )

When we received our bill from Stockton Mortgage due onXX/XX/XXXX the amount due increased by {$480.00}. When we contacted the company we were informed that it was due to an escrow shortage based on the amount of taxes owed. Upon further research on our part, it was determined that the mortgage company had accidently paid our taxes twice forXX/XX/XXXX, paying an excess {$4600.00}. The company even after admitting this error, still made us pay the extra {$480.00} for the payment due on XX/XX/XXXX, indicating they could not adjust the payment due until they received the refund from the county. When speaking with the company on XX/XX/XXXX, they indicated it would take 14 days to correct the issue. We contacted the company again on XX/XX/XXXX and no progress had been made and we were told it would take another 14 days. At this point, we asked to speak with management and were told they would call within 24 hours. No call was received, so we called the company back on XX/XX/XXXX. At this point, they indicated that they had received the refund from the county. We were told they would escalate the escrow analysis and have it complete by XX/XX/XXXX. Once again we asked to speak to management and were told we would receive a call back in 24-48 hours but did not. We contacted the company on XX/XX/XXXX and they indicated it had not been completed, but would be complete by XX/XX/XXXX. We contacted the company again on XX/XX/XXXX and were told the analysis still had not been completed. We were told again we would receive a call from management within 2 hours and no call was received and the issue still has not been resolved

Secured new mortgage with Stockton Mortgage in XXXX last year after going through extensive underwriting and submitting all my documents as requested by the company. Two months later I received a letter from them stated I needed XXXX XXXX. I did not have XXXX XXXX when I was approved for the loan. So I contacted my insurance company to get XXXX, but not having XXXX XXXX previously and now after a new mortgage closing it was very difficult to get. The letter Stockton Mortgage provided stated that my XXXX XXXX lapsed, I never had it. So the insurance company would not add it to my policy. I had to wait and have a new policy written. I live in Florida and my home is 8 houses from the XXXX XXXX. It is also hurricane season. I also had to have a wind mitigation inspection done before coverage would be approved by insurance company. Stockton went ahead and charged me {$370.00} for XXXX XXXX in XXXX for a period of 2 months that have passed. I received no policy from them or coverage dates or anything that I could possible use if I did have a claim. Also when called Stockton said it would reimburse my escrow account the {$370.00} back but after repeated calls another underwriter of theirs overruled. I made every good effort to correct Stockton 's oversight of requiring XXXX XXXX. I should not have to pay for a coverage that was not available to me and is unnecessary as there wasn't even any storms.

In XX/XX/XXXX, my husband and I closed on a house. Our mortgage company was Stockton Mortgage. As part of closing, they collected almost {$1600.00} for property taxes. We found out in early XX/XX/XXXX that the taxes had not been paid. We reached out to Stockton and spoke to multiple people. One customer service representative even informed us that it was not Stockton 's issue/problem. We finally spoke to an upper management person and sent her the statement from the sheriff 's dept. Then on XX/XX/XXXX we received a letter from the county attorney that the taxes had not been paid and were now delinquent. That Friday I reached out to Stockton and emailed the bills to them. I called back the following the Monday and was told they would review them and pay within 10 business days. The letter from the country attorney requested all taxes be paid by XX/XX/XXXX. I was transferred to a supervisor and then spoke to other higher management persons. A resolution specialist was assigned to our case. Since then I have not heard from the specialist. I have reached out multiple times through email and have never gotten a phone call or a return email, neither has my husband. It seems that Stockton is not taking this issue seriously.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a letter from XXXX XXXX stating I had a balance due for real estate property taxes. On XX/XX/XXXX, I called Stockon Mortgage my loan servicer to inquire about the tax bill that is due. They advised me to email the tax bill to them at XXXX, I did as advised. I assumed the bill was paid since my escrow increased. But sadly mistaken, on XX/XX/XXXX I received from XXXX XXXX a delinquent tax bill with an increase of {$150.00} due to fees and interest for not paying. I again called Stockon Mortgage, this time I was advised to mail a physical letter and to expect a 3 week turn around time for my request to be processed which would put me in a a further delinquency. I asked if I could just pay it and be refunded, they stated no. So I did as they said XX/XX/XXXX I sent it next day mail and they've received the letter and no action has been taken. I've called now every week to see if any action has been taken and as of today XX/XX/XXXX, they have done nothing. They've placed me on a hold to talk to a supervisor for thirty minutes just to be hung up on. At this point this servicer isn't doing their job and doesn't seem capable of handling accounts.

I have paid for a XXXX XXXX XXXX and it was done on XX/XX/XXXX. I have yet to receive the XXXX report to date. I have called and emailed Stockton Mortgage Corporation and XXXX XXXX XXXX, to have my PMI removed via this report. I contacted the person who did my report ( XX/XX/XXXX ) and by law, they said they can not give it to me, they gave me the company who hired him, XXXX XXXX. I called XXXX XXXX and the representative says my XXXX was don't but they also are not allowed to give it to me but told me the report was sent and delivered earlier in the month. They wouldn't give me the exact date but said it was delivered after multiple attempts. I found out that my mortgage was sold ( XX/XX/XXXX ) after months of trying to get my PMI removed, started the process in XXXX.

Stockton Mortgage Company failed and continues to fail to pay our taxes from our escrow account. We called and provided a copy of the taxes to Stockton before the taxes were due. We have called Stockton Customer Service at least once a week since, but Stockton refuses to pay them. It has been close to a month and a half. Interest is growing every day with the XXXX Tax Commissioner. In the meantime, we have continued to pay our mortgage payments on time. We are very concerned about a tax lien on our home.

On XX/XX/2021 a withdrawal of {$2000.00} was deducted from my account for XXXX payments on my loan. On XX/XX/XXXX, the mortgage company reversed the payment and never re applied to XXXX payment. Now I'm getting notice of breach, and my XXXX statement shows the reversal they did and they are asking me to pay XXXX again with XXXX statement. Also I refinance for 25 years ( 300 payments ) and on my online loan amortization I'm showing 301 payments for my loan amortization.
