I got the personal loan from Stilt because I needed help last year around this time taking care of a few bills. What I didn't know is that my dad would end up passing in late XX/XX/XXXX ; so, I ended up using much of the funds for those expenses. I am still dealing with expenses from that time, which is why you will see that most of the payments, although still ahead of the 30-day mark ( that affects credit reports ), have been late. I mentioned all of this to the Stilt rep at least a month ago when I first started having greater difficulty making my installment payment before the 30-day mark. I called then trying to make payment arrangements so that payment wouldn't result in a negative mark on my credit reports. I was coldly told on the phone that nothing could be done. I hung up with no resolve. I got a follow-up from someone via text chat saying that although a payment arrangement COULD be made, that they still couldn't do anything about the 30-day due date and that I would still be risking a negative reporting. Thanks to their lack of leeway, I indeed ended up with a negative late payment mark on last month 's credit reports. I had difficulty again in this latest 30-day cycle ( 30 days as of the XXXX or XXXX of XXXX ), making it two 30-day late payment marks on my credit reports. In addition to difficulty paying, it is also how my employment checks come. My checks come thru a couple days early on Wednesdays every two weeks, so this week, my check fell on the 30-day mark. There's nothing I can do about this. So, if I'm strapped for cash, I can forget being able to pay until the check finally comes thru. Sometimes it arrives in perfect time and sometimes it doesn't. Because of the brick wall I got the first time from Stilt reps, I didn't even bother to call this second time to make any payment arrangement, and had to " simply '' wait until my check came thru despite whether it came before, on, or after the 30-day mark. I have never in my life dealt with a creditor who refused to allow any understanding or grace in special circumstances such as mine. I don't even know what to do or if Stilt will even care, but I am submitting this complaint anyway. It is a shame that I have gotten all this way with " on-time '' payments -- no negative credit reporting -- and now, as I'm halfway thru paying the loan off, I have two late payment marks thanks to their lack of care for customers. I also do not like that it's such an incredible feat to get ahold of someone. Their phone most of the time goes to voicemail, and when I've finally gotten someone, they're impersonal, cold, and do not work with customers. I believe this is a tech company under the guise of financial services, as many tech companies are impersonal, lacking customer service, and have a 'take it or leave it " business model and not 'customer first '. You all need to understand that you will not have any business without customers -- and that I am not just a number in your system. I tried to work with you all to get a human answer to a human situation to get my bill paid on time, not have a normal situation be made into an inconvenience for your ready-made system, and not cause negative marks on my credit reports.

I'm currently trying to pay off a loan with Stilt , IncXXXX XXXX # XXXX. I overnighted them a check viaFedex on Tuesday, XX/XX/2022 and they received the check on Wednesday, XXXX XXXX at XXXX. Tracking number XXXX ; proof of delivery attached. It's now XXXX XXXX and the lender is advising that they have not received the check and is refusing to help. XXXX was issued through escrow on a refi that I did, so the check is not drawn on my account. XXXX advised that they did not receive the check I asked if I can wire the money and they said that theydo not accept wire transfers. They only accept debit payments or XXXX, which does not work for thistransaction. I have been calling and following up with them for a week and they are not even looking forthe check. I was told on Friday XX/XX/XXXX and Monday XX/XX/XXXX that they were followingup with the warehouse where they recieve mail on the check. They said they would get back to me butthey never actually do get back to me. I'm getting badgering collection calls because my payment is nowlate. Soon they will report the account late to the credit bureau 's. Interest is also continuing to acrruewhile the payment should have been applied on XX/XX/XXXX. Customer service refuses to allow meto speak with a supervisor or XXXX who may be able to help. They are ignorning my requests forhelp to get the loan paid off. I have only held the loan for 9 months, so they are probably refusing toaccept my payment in order to continue to accrue interest on the loan. I need help getting them to acceptmy payment. After I initially filed this complaint, the company found my check and advised that they would backdate the payment and apply it to my loan. However, they did not do that and applied the check 7 days after receiving it, resulting in additional interest of over {$150.00}. They are now refusing to correct the payment date and properly refund me the overpayment amount. The check I provided was {$21000.00}, and the payoff amount due on XXXX was {$21000.00}. I should be receiving a {$430.00} refund, but they are refusing to refund me more than {$250.00}. Included here as an attachment is the email from them advising that they would backdate my check and post it to my account. Stilt provides the payoff amount online, and I watched the payoff amount increase daily between XXXX and XXXX. They applied my payment effective XXXX instead of XXXX in order to improperly charge me additional interest.

Both the mobile application and website are full of bugs and issues that need to be fixed as they cause issues with making payments. - In order to add a payment method on the website, you need to use a service called Plaid. The issue is that the service seems to never work and the payment method never adds. - There is only one way to pay and that is online. No mailing address or payments through your banks bill pay. - Their customer services takes long to respond to inquiries- Due to the fact that their website and app contains bugs, it doesn't accurately display the amount due. My complaint stems from the following : 1 ) I had a payment due of {$250.00} on XX/XX/2022. On XX/XX/2022, I logged in and made a payment of {$250.00}. Additionally, I made a payment of {$140.00} to go towards principal so a total of {$400.00} was made. 2 ) These payments cleared my bank account on XX/XX/2022. 3 ) On XX/XX/2022, I logged into XXXX to see if they posted my payments to my account only to see that I am now delinquent and owe XXXX cents. Mind you, I made the exact payment that they said I owed through the website and even made an additional payment. I immediately made the XXXX cent payment and this was withdrawn on XX/XX/XXXX. 4 ) XX/XX/2022, I receive two back to back robo-dialed calls from XXXX informing me that I am delinquent XXXX cents and need to pay immediately. I then received a text informing me the same. I called them and they confirmed that there is a mistake in their system and to please disregard. Although FDCPA does not state the amount of times they can call, this can be considered " unreasonable ''

Hello, I took a loan from Stilt Inc. a few months back. After the loan approval, I opened their Stilt Checking account as they said Ill get 5 % cash-back if I pay loan payments with their checking account. It worked fine for two months. After that i dont know what happened. Stilt checking account suddenly got closed with my money in it around XX/XX/XXXX. It asked me to upload all the documents again like XXXX ID, SSN, etc ... I uploaded it and still, I wasnt able to access it. I contacted Stilt customer care on XX/XX/XXXX and told them the issue. They said theyll look into it. I followed up with them every week through email or phone calls and they say the same thing every week that they escalated the issue to the higher department, other than that theres no help from them. The money to pay for the loan is in that checking account. Im 10 days past the due date and I was fined for late fees and it's gon na report on my credit score that I havent paid my monthly payments. I need help. Please.

I transferred XXXX dollars to the stilt bank account waited two days for it to clear once cleared I was able to make point of sale transactions when I tried to withdraw the remaining XXXX in my account they locked my account after going through all the steps to verify my identity my account was unlocked but not my money its been almost a week and Ive been getting the run around I feel as if this bank is not legit an I just want my money and to close the account

I applied for a loan with Stilt on XX/XX/2022. They waited until XX/XX/XXXX to approve my promissory not which I signed at XXXX Eastern time. The company waited until XXXX pm pacific time to disberse the funds. I have not received the funds and still may not receive the funds until XX/XX/XXXX but they are charging me interest as of XX/XX/XXXX when I should have receive the funds. As per advise from the lender more tan 50 % loan repaied. Requested the Lender in question to remove deliquent notice and allow partial payment as I do not have any income since XX/XX/2020 as I have been furloughed and I am at my wits end. Still then I managed some payment till XX/XX/2020. The lender STILT is sending threatening notice. They are threatening with legal action.

I have requested the lending entity that I will repay immediately XXXX USD and work out the rest ASAP of the balance of XXXXUSD at the moment. But they are not allowing me to do so and purposely allowing the outstanding to accumulate and continuously charge the interest. My repeated exchange of mails did not yield any result.
