XXXX sent invoice dated XX/XX/XXXX.
I notified XXXX in writing on XX/XX/XXXX to dispute the account, to ask for verification that it was authorized to be opened.
XXXX replied with a form letter to call their office I notified XXXX in Writing on XX/XX/XXXX to communicate with me by mail and that I continued to dispute the account and that I did not authorize it.
XXXX replied with the same form letter to call their office.
I noticed XXXX in writing on XX/XX/XXXX informing them to communicate with me by mail and that XXXX disputing the account and not a customer of XXXX.
XXXX replied with another form letter telling me to call them.
I wrote to XXXX again on XX/XX/XXXX referring to the previous communication and that XXXX did not respond properly to my dispute. I again requested proof and verification that I authorized the charges. They did not respond.
I notified XXXX in writing on XX/XX/XXXX to cease telephone communications with me and written correspondence will be responded to accordingly.
XXXX replied with another form letter telling me to call them.
I notified XXXX in writing on XX/XX/XXXX that they have not shown that I owe them any money or any agreement between us. I told them I would no longer respond to them without proper verification.
Received collection notice from States Recovery Systems Inc datedXX/XX/XXXX.
Responded by disputing the alleged debt and demand for verification, along with copy of agreement for my relationship with XXXX.
Sent an additional letter on XX/XX/XXXX of notice to debt collector of default for not verifying alleged debt.
Received letter dated XX/XX/XXXX stating debt was verified and a print out of statement of account, with multiple contract account numbers, debit and credit amounts, with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX payments, which I do not have a XXXX XXXX XXXX Account.
On XX/XX/XXXX, wrote to States Recovery System that I received the letter but that the account has been in dispute and that XXXX failed to address the dispute. Also informed States Recovery Systems that they did not properly validate the debt. A simple statement is not validation. Anyone can make a statement.
XX/XX/XXXX States Recovery Systems reported the collection to credit Report.

I filed a complaint with you guys - consumer finance and you received a response back from the collection agency which did not validate the debt nor provide any official and acceptable debt validation nor proof that it sent me debt validation at anytime. You, XXXX finance, closed the case so Im writing again in hopes that someone will hold the collection agency accountable and actually read what is going on before simply accepting their response and closing.
I noticed on my credit a collection from state recovery systems account from XX/XX/XXXX. At no time in XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, XX/XX/XXXX, was I notified that this debt existed. I wrote a letter ( not certified ) and stuck in the mail box to be delivered to State recovery system. In the letter that they claim they didnt receive, I asked for them to validate the debt by providing a copy of the original contractor from the creditor, a copy of the last billing statement from the original creditor, and dates of any billing information from the original creditor. I did not receive the requested information back then, and I have not received the information now.
We are now in XX/XX/XXXX, and I have complained to the XXXX and you guys and as a result, States Recovery System sent me a piece of paper dated XX/XX/XXXX indicating charges of {$510.00}. This is not furnishing proof of the debt as I requested - in the form of the original billing and contract from the actual creditor.
I asked for the original billing and contract from the original creditor - not a made up piece of paper invoice from the collection agency.
Please have them send me all original documentation from the original creditor including, the contract, the billing statement, and all documentation regarding communication between them and me in XX/XX/XXXXto validate the debt.
If they are unable to provide proof of notifying me in XX/XX/XXXXand proof of the original creditors documentation of contract and billing, under the fair collection law Act, please remove this collection from the credit bureaus.

My ex husband purchased a boat, but it was done as a joint loan acount in XXXX when we were still married. We divorced in XX/XX/XXXX and divorce papers stipulate ex husband was keeping the boat and the loan attached to it. I moved and had no possession of or contact with the boat again. However, his credit was not good enough and he was unable to ever refinance it into his name and remove my name from the loan. He then stopped paying on the boat loan with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and had the boat repossessed by them. They sold the boat to someone else but at a loss over how much the exhusband still owed. They then listed the amount of their loss on my credit report as a derogatory account and amount still owed them. The ex husband then filed bankruptcy and had it removed/discharged from his record. However, they then sent ME to collections for their lost money ( over a boat I never had ).
The collections information is below, States Recovery from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I received a letter from States Recovery and I sent them in copies of my divorce papers showing the debt did not belong to me, requesting it get removed. However it has remained on my credit report. Initially it was {$18000.00}. A few months ago they increased it to {$23000.00}, not sure why. I do not believe in bankruptcy and do not want a bankruptcy on my record. I do not want to have to file bankruptcy over a collection item that clearly does not belong to me.They repossessed the boat and got their property back. They discharged the debt in court when the Ex filed bankruptcy on it. There is absolutely no reason their " loss '' should still be causing me credit problems 8 years later.

In late 2019 a fraudster stole my identity and opened several accounts fraudulently in my name. I learned of the fraud from XXXX XXXX and immediately acted, including freezing my credit, filing a police report, and completing all required paperwork from the companies the fraudster successfully and unsuccessfully attempted to commit the fraud.
One of the accounts that the fraudster successfully opened was a credit card account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. By the time I learned of the fraud the fraudster had spent $ XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX closed the account, and XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX all removed the account from my credit history.
Then, months later, I started receiving letters from a debt collector that I had been sent to collections for the outstanding balance on the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX account, opened and executed by the fraudster. I have called both the collector, XXXX XXXX XXXX, as well as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and neither provide any help what so ever. XXXX XXXX XXXX simply tells me that the only way they can remove the account from collections is by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX revoking the collection. When I call XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, my call is repeatedly transferred, the call is dropped, there is no clear department or number to reach out to. I reached out to the woman in the XXXX XXXX branch who helped me file the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX required paperwork when the fraud was initially detected, however she is no longer with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and her replacement began to help me but months have passed and nothing has happened.
The collections account is bringing my credit score down and I am trying to buy a home- this situation is incredibly frustrating. Please help.

On XX/XX/2022 I was contacted by states recovery system, on behalf of XXXX XXXX for an attempt to collect a debt for a furniture credit card. I had a balance that I had not been able to stay current due to me incurring an injury while at work which caused me to go out on leave and I was not paid by my employer while out on leave. I kept XXXX XXXX informed the entire time. On this specific date I spoke with XXXX XXXX who informed me that as long as I made the payment in full within XXXX days of the collection account being sent to states recovery it would not negatively affect my credit report. On XX/XX/2022 I made a payment of {$300.00} and set up an authorization for them to process another payment on XX/XX/2022. I checked my credit report on XX/XX/2022 and XXXX XXXX reported that the account had been closed with a balance and sent to collections, so I followed up with States recovery system and spoke with a representative XXXX XXXX to inform him of the conversation between XXXX and myself he informed me that he would have his supervisor listen to the call and the supervisor would call me back but I have yet to hear anything from the company I also reached out to XXXXXXXX XXXX credit reporting department and spoke with a XXXX named XXXX and she advised me that they dont have the information from states recovery system at this time to be able to report to the credit bureaus accurately which should not negatively affect my credit reporting as the account has been paid off in full. I request to have this information adjusted accurately and removed from my report.

I had a XXXX XXXX phone from XXXX. As the phone was defective, I ended my service with XXXX by a phone call to customer service and returned the phone. At no time did they say I would have a following bill, and if I did have one, assumed they would auto pay from my credit card on file as thats how billing was set up. With no preceding bill or email ( even though I continued to get emails on other subjects almost daily from XXXX ) XXXX sent my account to States Recovery Systems , Inc, a debt collection company, showing an overdue bill of {$40.00}. I called XXXX immediately. When she could refer to no email showing a bill, she waived {$10.00} in late fees.
They hadnt charged my credit card on file, as their system wont process through the credit card after service is ended. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid {$30.00} via credit card on the phone. I received an email from them showing the waived late fees, the credit card payment, and showed my balance as XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX XXXX and States Recovery both said States Recovery had not been notified of my payment in full. On XXXX I received XXXX emails from XXXX, XXXX ( XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX saying they couldnt accept my payment ( even though my credit card was charged and not refunded ) and one ( XXXX XXXX XXXX acknowledging the payment and that my balance was XXXX. I did dispute the debt in writing and on XXXX XXXX contacted XXXX requesting confirmation on the status of the debt. As of XX/XX/XXXX, they have had no response from XXXX.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from States Recovery Systems , Inc., purporting to be collecting debt that I owe to a third party company. However, the letter was fraudulent. I encourage you to pursue this company and stop them from attempting to defraud others.
Here are the details of the case. The letter that I received stated that States Recovery Systems was attempting to collect a debt in the sum of {$1200.00} from XXXX. XXXX is the phone carrier that my wife and I use for long distance. I had recently tried out a mobile phone that they offered, but I returned it to CREDO in XX/XX/XXXX, before the end of the trial period, because they do not have good coverage in the neighborhood where we live. On receiving the letter from States Recovery Systems, I contacted XXXX to verify that I do not owe any debt to them. The representative who I spoke with confirmed that this was true, and that the letter from States Recovery System is incorrect.
When I searched for States Recovery Systems on XXXX, I found numerous reports of other customers whom the company had attempted to defraud. It appears that the company has a pattern of pursuing people for nonexistent debt. I fear that my age ( XXXX ) may have made me a target for this scam. Companies that go after the elderly with fraudulent debt collection schemes deserve to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. I am happy to contribute any other information that you might need in order to do so.

To Whom It May Concern : This letter indicates you and your company immediately cease erroneous credit reporting.
We demand that you and your company stop the monthly charge offs under the Fair Credit Reporting Act for fair and legal reporting debt. They then this fraudulent debt to STATES RECOVERY SYSTEM INC, who added on illegal fees without providing a contract that shows XXXX XXXX agreed to that fee.
We closed our account in XXXX due to fraud, and you have placed over XXXX charge-offs since then. You are deliberately keeping the account open to justify the monthly reporting charge-offs. Members must maintain a {$5.00} balance per your website to keep tabs open. We have had a XXXX balance in the account since XXXX. Yet, every month, you send a statement reflecting a XXXX balance savings account claiming that the account is open. This is a direct conflict with the minimum balance requirement per your policy. The Fair Credit Reporting Act ( FCRA ) ( 15 U.S.C 1681 ) falls under non-compliance with the law and false reporting.
In addition, this constitutes a breach of contract since the original credit card agreement does not authorize the re-charge debt.
If you continue to issue charge-offs, we will be forced to take legal action against you for violation of the Fair Credit Reporting Act and will seek all available damages and remedies.
Sincerely, XXXX XXXX

I helped my parents move into a rented home and stayed with them a few months to help them settle in. XXXX years later, a check on my credit report revealed that the city reported me as a cosigner on the {$1300.00} electric utility bill debt they accumulated over the XXXX years after I left. Since I had never signed anything, I called up the city to ask why I was being held responsible for their debt. The city officials I spoke to, who refused to provide their names or positions, informed me that upon opening the utility account, the city had asked for the names and SSNs of all occupants at the time. I asked both officials if my parents had been informed that all occupants would be held financially responsible as cosigners. Both officials informed me that it was not policy to do so. This puts me at a loss for relief options as my personal information was provided without my knowledge or consent, yet the party providing it believed themselves to be under obligation to provide it and were not informed of the ramifications.
Additionally, the debt collection agency has not provided me with any sort of debt validation, and is not willing to provide any consideration of the special circumstances surrounding this debt. The original creditor refuses to remove me as a cosigner unless I can prove I was not a resident at the time the account was opened.

The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX hired a debt collector to collect {$5500.00} for a move that never happened. All communication between us was by phone call and text. On XX/XX/XXXX I agreed to pay {$5000.00} for them to move boxes from a XXXX storage unit in XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX to XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I let them charge {$150.00} to my credit card for deposit. On XX/XX/XXXX I got several messages and a phone call from XXXX telling me they denied charges attempted by The XXXX XXXX : {$4900.00} ( more than was owed ) by XXXX, then {$2300.00} by XXXX, then {$1500.00} by XXXX and then XXXX {$1500.00}. I was shocked and a little scared. I called and cancelled the move. I was told that I was still going to be charged because I didn't give 14 days notice ( there were 13 days left. ) I was threatened with " substantial costs '' including hotel costs, airfare, and the wages of 3 men. For context they were being asked to transport boxes. It took 2 men 34 minutes to unload the same boxes from their truck and into storage. The debt they are attempting to collect says the move was to cost {$5500.00} instead of {$5.00} and it includes {$78.00} in interest, crediting my {$150.00} deposit they are trying to collect {$5500.00}.
I have all of their text messages to verify all the information I have given you. I

I attended XXXX online. This past XXXX 2015, I followed the university 's process and withdrew from my course work before the final withdraw deadline. My academic advisor was XXXX XXXX. On XXXX/XXXX/15, I received an invoice from a collection agency by the name of States Recovery Systems , Inc. stating that I owe {$1500.00}. XXXX ( the account was transferred from XXXX ). I have never received any bills, correspondance, telephone calls etc. from XXXX regarding this " debt ''. I do not believe that I owe this debt as my student loans and grants covered all of my educational tuition and fees according to my last conversation with XXXX XXXX. I also withdrew from my course before the withdraw deadline. Since, I had never been made aware of this debt from the university, I explained to the representative ( she refused to give me her name ) from States Recovery Systems , Inc., that I was disputing the debt she became extrememly argumentative with me and threatened legal action. I feel that I have a right to know about a debt before it is referred to a collection agency. And I have a right to have the debt verified. I have supporting documentation to support my claims. I am suspecting that this is a scam but, if its not, I feel that XXXX needs to collect the debt in accordance with collection and billing laws.

I am reporting deceptive business practice with XXXX XXXX and The collection company States Recovery Systems. I opened a credit loan with XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX. My loan went into default and was closed XX/XX/XXXX. The account was charged off {$2200.00}. My original account number with XXXX XXXX was XXXX. This account was turned over to the collection agency States Recovery on XX/XX/XXXX with a balance of {$2800.00}. For the past year I have been reporting to the credit bureau inaccurate information reported to my account by both companies. First, both companies are reporting that I have balances on my account. Secondly the original charge off dates have been moved up to XX/XX/XXXX. And thirdly, States Recovery is reporting the account with a different account number, XXXX, to appear as if its two separate accounts being reported with their balance at {$3500.00}. They can not charge me twice for the same account. I have made several attempts to correct this issue with the credit reporting agency but they are saying the two companies are coming back with the remarks of all information is being reported correctly. Please investigate and either remove both from my credit file or remove the account that is being falsely reported. This is damaging to my credit file. Thank you.

A {$50000.00} credit line was taken out from XXXX XXXX in the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX and used my name as the 100 % owner of the company. I have never had any affiliation with this company or XXXX XXXX. The first I was aware of this was after a default judgement was entered against me. I went to court on XXXX for a motion to vacate renewal was not successful.
I wrote a letter to the bank and also asked the collection agency ( States Recovery Systems ) to supply me with the original loan documents to no avail.
The information on the loan application submitted by XXXX XXXX XXXX is fictitious and not associated with me in any way.
There is no supporting documentation for the loan : No copy of my valid driver 's license No business and/or financial documentation associated with me in any way No copy of bank/liquidity account statement associated with me in any way No tax return information associated with me in any way No articles of Incorporation for XXXX & XXXX XXXX filed with the Secretary of State, which bear my name The signature on the loan is not mine and never lived in XXXX XXXX.
It is also alarming that the bank officer on the loan application has the same last name of the treasurer of XXXX XXXX XXXX.

I am writing this letter because I believe I have been a victim of predatory debt collection. I have attempted numerous times to dispute this account with all three credit reporting agencies over the past few months to no avail. I have requested written confirmation of the original contract as well as my signature verification of the agreement with the new debt collector from XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. Again, to no avail. The company I am referring to is States Recovery Systems. My current credit report shows an account with XXXX XXXX XXXX in which it reflects a closed account with an outstanding balance of {$2200.00}. However, the account supposedly bought and assumed by States Recovery Systems shows a balance of {$3200.00}, a difference of almost {$1000.00}. I protest the validity and believe they are misrepresenting the amount owed and using deceptive practices inflating the amount of debt on this account illegally sinking this account further into debt. I would like this to be resolved and this company held accountable for their practices. I would like my credit reports to be updated and adjusted accordingly and this account be removed because of illegal practices.

States Recovery System continues to, despite my demand for them to cease, contacting my employer.
State Recovery System was informed by telephone on XX/XX/XXXX, and again on XX/XX/XXXX, that my employer prohibits personal calls ( specifically relating to debt collection ). Specifically, on both of the above dates, State Recovery System 's representative XXXX XXXX was told this and also informed that calling my employer ( with knowledge ) of the prohibition is a violation of Section 805 ( a ) ( 3 ) of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
States Recovery System again, on XX/XX/XXXX, at approximately XXXX XXXX contacted my employer.
States Recovery Systems violated FDCPA Section 804 ( 5 ), by informing my employer of their business name, i.e. " States Recovery Systems '' which connotes the call was related to the debt collection business, and the call relates to the collection of a debt.
States Recovery Systems ' conduct is harassing and abusive. This is the exact conduct prohibited by the FDCPA, and because it has been repeated with directly knowledge of the violation, it is therefore reprehensible.

I moved out of property that was managed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. at address : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, CA XXXX. On or about the week of XX/XX/2016. My final day at the residence managed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I paid the remainder on my lease in full to the employee and dropped of my keys. She mentioned that she could not assist me the moment with a receipt because of new company taking over properties was in the middle of transferring documents to them but assured me that a receipt would be mailed to me at my new address Approx. 190 miles away ( I NEVER RECEIVED ANY RECEIPT IN THE MAIL EVER!!! ). A few month later when I had a chance to go back in person they no longer were in business, last time i checked its now a massage parlor. STATES RECOVERY SYSTEM INC. is incorrectly billing me for monies and debt that I already paid in person to XXXX XXXX XXXX and they illegally sold this debt. I have disputed multiple times and currently have another active dispute on XXXX credit reporting agency. XXXX has ruled each dispute in favor of RECOVERY SYSTEM INC. without providing any proof to my person.

XXXX was very unhelpful in my situation. I knew I was 90 days behind and still making payments. But they showed up to repossess my Impala on the basis that I was XXXX delinquent. When I looked at XXXX of my statements, I had sent them a check for {$430.00}. Instead of applying this {$430.00} to the auto loan like they have every time before, they put it into a savings account that was opened when I took out a loan with them. I 'm under the impression that they received my payment, but they put it in the wrong place, giving the illusion I was 120 days behind rather than XXXX.
When I spoke to someone at XXXX, they said " that happens sometimes. '' So they show up at my job 45 minutes away from home to take my car. I call them, and at first the deal was to make the loan current, and I could get take the car back.
The next day however after taking take the car, they instead tell me in order to get it back, I have to pay off the full balance of {$26000.00} within 30 days. I did n't understand how we went from {$2000.00} ton {$26000.00} in XXXX hours. And they never bothered to work with me.

States Recovery is continuing to charge interest on a debt that was charged off by XXXX XXXX. To this date, I have paid {$1000.00} on a {$3600.00} debt and still owes according to them as of XXXX 2016, {$3200.00}. When I asked for a statement, I was told they do not send any statements and are not required to. States Recovery claims, XXXX XXXX ( Original Creditor ) are the ones who has this information but when I contacted XXXX XXXX, I was told the debt was sold to States Recovery. States Recovery claims collection efforts were instructions from XXXX XXXX and they did not buy the debt. These are deceptive practices, States Recovery are unable to provide me with any kind of information regarding a debt. They are not suppose to impose interest charges on a debt especially if they are unable to provide statements. I have tried to settle this debt but they refused to work with me. They continued to harass me at work, call different branches to find the exact branch I work, even after I told them to stop calling me at work and I have given them my cell phone number.

On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX of State Recovery Systems, XXXX, left a message on my cell with a reference #, when I returned the call on XX/XX/XXXX, and asked what creditor they represented, Mile stated he needed further verification, and asked if he had the correct address on file ( which he did ). Given the fact that I had my email hacked recently, I said I would not offer any information, nor confirm my address. I asked hime to please give me access to their website/portal so I may see for myself. He gave me the reference number mentioned in the voicemail, and issued a pin.
When I went online, https : //www.statesrecovery.com/, and input the the reference # and pin # it states I have a balance of {$290.00} and had my correct address HOWEVER no creditor was identified, only a way to make a payment. Given the fact that my address is correct, and in my experience, creditors try to reach you via mail first, AND I have yet to receive any outstanding bills, AND know I don't have any outstanding debts, I thought it seemed fishy.

I am being asked to pay over {$900.00} dollars in interest to a debt collector in XXXX, CA for a credit amount of {$1000.00} attached to a closed checking account ( XX/XX/XXXX ) with XXXX XXXX Bank in XXXX XXXX, CA. The debt was charged off around XX/XX/XXXX. I do not have a credit agreement to see if the collection company can legally continue to charge interest. Further, I have not received monthly statement from the collection company indicating accrued interest and penalties. I understand there is the statute of 4 years in California. We are now in XX/XX/XXXX which if five years since the amount was charged off. I am not certain the collection agent has the legal right to charge accrued interest and further can still pursue collection. The credit reporting agency shows an amount of {$1000.00}. I want to know my legal writes as it pertains to the bank charge off and accrued interest demanded of collector and California statute of limitation on the claim. Thank you,

The reason for my complaint is XXXX was not completed to my satisfaction.
How does SRS have standing when the documents they sent you does not have a contract to collect from original creditor? What authority do they have?
How did State Recovery Systems ( SRS ) verify I owe them money on a debt?
I deserve to know the method used to verify this debt. I demanded original wet ink signature on application, not provided.
Look at the documents they uploaded. There is no contract between SRS and the original creditor.
How can they verify a debt that they have not proven is owed to them?
Is this a violation of FCRA 1681 and section 609? FDCPA?
Also I sent them a certified notarized letter that states that I do not recognize the signature on the contract that was claimed to be mine on a contract, I did not sign that, it is not my signature on any application and someone forged my name.
Please have them remove negative reporting to 3 credit bureaus.

While living in XXXX, XXXX I received electric service from XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). On XX/XX/XXXX I requested service be disconnected immediately because I was moving that day to XXXX, XXXX ( outside their service territory ). On XXXX, I received an email from XXXX confirming my move-out request and then did not hear from them again -- no email, no snail mail.
I never received a final bill. Then, in XX/XX/XXXX, I notice on my credit report that there is a collection for {$330.00} from States Recovery Systems representing XXXX. I spoke with several reps at XXXX and they refused to recind the collection or accept a payment directly. On XX/XX/XXXX I paid the amount in full to States Recovery Systems.
In XX/XX/XXXX, I disputed the collection with XXXX and XXXX. The collection was marked " paid '' but was not removed as I requested. Since I never received a bill for this, I expected it to be deleted from my credit report but they refused.

So far I've successfully removed most of the fraudulent accounts from my credit report by filing disputes through the credit bureaus. I've also filed dispute with States Recovery Systems. The balance on the account they are trying to also has an address in California. It appears to me they did not try to validate the information on this account.

Hello I have been dealing with a serious issue with the States Recovery Systems Company in XXXX XXXX, CA. Since XX/XX/XXXX, I noticed on my credit report that the company States Recovery Systems had shown up as a debt collector " claiming '' I owed them a debt. I let them know that if they couldn't provide me with anything within 30 days then they have accepted the " debt ' they claimed I owed them. The company have failed to respond back to me but still is reporting the erroneous item on my report. They have violated 15 usc 1692 codes f through g.

On XX/XX/2017 I received a bill amount from States Recovery Systems for {$2100.00}, stating that it was the total amount owed.
XX/XX/2017 I received a debt validation and bill amount for {$3300.00}.
On XX/XX/2017 I received a second debt validation and bill amount from States Recovery Systems for {$3300.00}, and stating that they have closed and returned the account to the original creditor XXXX XXXX.
Now they have resumed collection activity again. The billed amount is obviously incorrect and they have clearly violated several parts of the FDCPA. Not only that, they have continued to continuously call my cell phone after a debt validation and cease and desist statement was provided to them because of the discrepancy in what I owe.

I was notified that a collections account from States Recovery System was put on my credit report back in 2017. I immediately disputed with the credit agencies indicating that States recovery system was in violation of my rights. Specifically, Articles 2.1, 2.2, and 2.3. Later, I wrote 2 letters to States Recovery System via US mail to request a copy of when I was first noticed, when the charges took place, the amount, the person who authorized the service, and a copy of any documentation that the account was valid. I received nothing. More importantly, I never heard from anyone via mail, phone, or anything else within 5 days of them placing this on my credit.

I was contacted by States Recovery System for a old debt. I am currently disputing the debt with them now. However, they have recently falsely reported inaccurate dates of the debt. They have re-aged the debt to have it appear to be a new account, knowing that this is a old debt. I believe this is an attempt to stop me from getting a proper accounting of the debt through my dispute process with them. This deliberate attempt by States Recovery System is illegal, I have no problem paying monies I lawfully owe, but their attempts is to bully me into paying a debt amount that has not been verified.

I was contacted by STATES RECOVERY SYSTEMS INC for a old credit card that I believed was inaccurate. The amount in question I stated was in dispute by me as well as the time line. I was told that to prevent future action by them I had to pay {$3000.00} immediately. The collection notice is dated XX/XX/2018. I am extremely concerned they will continue to harass me and make threats.

I had a bank account with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and I was overdrawn they contacted me to make arrangements on the account, which I did they closed the account and advised me that they were going to convert the deposit account balance to a loan balance so they could send it to a collection agency. The balance on this account is for fees only for having the account.

I checked my credit report and found that States Recovery Systems has listed an account as an adverse, in collection account. I have paid this debt with the original creditor, and have told SRS this on many occasions. I also requested that they verify the original debt with the original creditor and no verification was ever provided.

I have reached out to XXXX many times to resolve this matter. They feel that because I have had service with them in the past that this is a verified debt. I have disputed this account with the original company, the debt collector and the credit bureau.
