On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted XXXX XXXX looking to settle an account that was last reported to my credit bureau XX/XX/XXXX for an auto loan I had got for my girlfriend a few years back. I explained I have been very cooperative, surrendered the car, and also provided all my personal information offering a settlement on the account for {$1000.00}. I was then told the account was with XXXX XXXX XXXX. I spoke with XXXX initially who told me the account was PAID IN FULL. Then after being transferred to XXXX the manager he told me the balance was {$6500.00} which is over {$3000.00} more than what was owed. I explained I was trying to get a home, and this account was affecting my credit. He then said they would settle for {$3000.00}. I told him the most I could do is {$1500.00}. The Next day On XX/XX/XXXX I received a notice from XXXX XXXX that XXXX pulled my XXXX credit bureau after 3 years and reported a new balance of {$4400.00} which dropped my credit score over 55 points which now makes me ineligible for a home loan. I find this to be a very savage business practice especially since I explained to the company that I was trying to get a home loan and wanted to resolve the matter.

I spoke with XXXX XXXX regarding a settlement with XXXX XXXX. We arranged to settle a delinquent account for {$1500.00}. I paid {$1000.00} XX/XX/XXXX and remainder was due by XX/XX/XXXX. I called in on XX/XX/XXXX to pay remainder settlement of {$500.00}. XXXX was very rude asking why did I file a complaint with AG? And that I was wasting her time with complaint> She seemed very upset, and spiteful. I provided a XXXX XXXX credit card to make a one time payment of {$500.00} to settle the account in full. She sent me a receipt and never stated my card would be charged as a cash advance. The next day XXXX XXXX froze my account stating XXXX made 2 charges for {$500.00} and one charge was a cash advance for a wire transfer. I called XXXX immediately but XXXX was somehow unavailable. I never authorized this company to cash advance my card or make an additional charge. This has caused a huge inconvenience freezing my credit line. XXXX XXXX intentionally charged my credit card for a cash advance out of spite from me filing an Attorney General Complaint. This employee definitely needs to be investigated on her business practices.

I pay XXXX $ to this financial institution for vehicle loan and only half goes towards the amount financed rest goes towards interest. They have caused so much stress on me I may have not payed on 2 time but I payed my late fees on top of the XXXX $ and non of that went towards the vehicle loan. I am a XXXX veteran who has XXXX and this has increased XXXX. Please help I also got email conversations between me and financial company.
