I have been making payments to Springfield Recovery Inc. on a debt owed to a property management company for over 6 months on time every month of {$50.00}. This company closed on XX/XX/XXXX and debt was bought by XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called this company today, XX/XX/XXXX, to set up a payment plan after receiving their statement on XX/XX/XXXX. First, I discussed that that statement did not reflect the accurate amount owed, as I have proof of actual amount owed from previous debt collector. The agent I was speaking with, XXXX XXXX, states I can email it to her at XXXX. I did email this document as soon I got off the phone with her. Secondly I asked to set up a payment plan. She stated to me they do not accept payment plans and starts to ask me about my employment, rent, car payments, credit cards and other personal information. I let her know I can not pay the amount in full and will have to make payments. She again states she will not accept any payments and asks about my income tax returns and if I can pay off my debt with this after making a partial payment today. I, again, inform her this will not work. She then proceeds to say " yes, I see this is not a priority to you and we will proceed with contacting your employer as we were going to do anyway ''. So XXXX data has not even had my debt for a month, has sent me one statement, and not even attempted to contact me by phone. I contact them to set up a payment and they tell me they were already going to start taking money from my paychecks anyways. I am willing to make payments, but they are not willing to accept, which is absolutely absurd.
