XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Specified Credit Association , Inc .
XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, MO XXXX, Phone XXXX XXXX XXXX Referencing a balanced owed of : {$140.00} Ref : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX CA XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX I never signed up for a membership at XXXX XXXX.
I went to XXXX XXXX and found out that the XXXX XXXX Staff allowed someone else to sign up for a membership in my name as a gift and sign my name for me.
The contract on their computer shows someone else 's name for the back account information for payment and my first name signed with a finger signature pad - NOT MY SIGNATURE.
I never signed a contract, I never signed up, I never stepped foot in the gym prior to trying to resolve this problem.
The problem began when XXXX XXXX Committed Fraud by allowing their employee to willfully allow someone else to sign my name on the contract. As a result, their bullying collection agency calls and says " How can you work out without a contract '' ... These guys are on an autopilot scan.
Someone else to signed my name to begin an illegal contract.
If the person that signed me up was told " the new member needs to come in and sign '' and I went in and signed they would have a valid contract.
When employee could have signed my name for all I know.
Specified Credit Continues to call me like it is the first time they are trying to collect on this debt.
I ask them to quite harassing me and they hang up me.
Specified Credit Associations Inc. has called me : XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XX/XX/XXXX Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I explained, again, I do not have a gym membership.
How can I have a membership without a signed contract?
I asked them to quite harassing me and they told me to " What my mouth '' and hung up on me.

I have advised XXXX XXXX with Specified Credit to cease and desist. However, she continues to call me and leave voice messages. I do not have an account with Specified Credit. I have never done business with specified credit. Therefore, they have no right to have my personal identity information. On the last call I accepted from XXXX XXXX, she was so aggressive and rude that she quickly began discussing the account she was calling about without even stating the collection mini miranda. When I advised XXXX XXXX to stop contacting me, she told me she would call me whenever she wants to. I have never done business with Specified Credit. I have never authorized any business with their company. This company does not possess the right or legal authority to contact me or remain in possession of my personal information. I am requesting that this company not be allowed to sell my personal information to disguise their violations. XXXX XXXX has also contacted friends and relatives of mine, who told her to stop calling their phone as welI, and she advised them also that she will not. She has continued to contact them ... .I DO NOT WANT SPECIFIED CREDIT, XXXX XXXX CONTACTING ME. ONCE AGAIN, I HAVE NEVER DONE BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. Very, very, rude representative who has no clue of the FDCPA laws.

XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX was notified on XX/XX/22 of cancellation of membership and any association with the business. Membership would be cancelled. Reply noting receipt of cancellation received by XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/22.
On XX/XX/22 I received a call from a collections agency who did not state their name but stated calling on behalf of XXXX XXXX XXXX for the amount of {$870.00} and stated that this would affect my XXXX XXXX even though I cancelled prior to incurring any of these charges/fees. Agency phone # XXXX.
On XX/XX/22 I sent mail and email to XXXX XXXX notifying that any communications from them or parties on their behalf will be viewed as harassment and I will seek legal counsel to protect me from such harassments.
This serves to notify that I have received no goods or services for the amount to be collect and that I have, hold and want no association with XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX or any associated parties.

I'm filing this complaint for two reasons. The first is to ensure that there is a copy filed on record within the CFPB 's database, a NOTICE I mailed via USPS, certified, priority mail, return receipt to the SCA on XX/XX/2023. You will find the notarized documentation attached below. The second reason, is that in the event that the SCA chooses to continue their pattern of noncompliance with the FDCPA in communication with me, the CFPB exercise on my behalf the powers granted to them by congress, and impose fines for the damages The Specified Credit Association has caused me by violating my right to privacy. Not once, but twice. It is my firm belief that any other conclusion would be without standing and an injustice.

I used a health club XXXX under a coupon for a free week of trainings. During that first week, I liked it the second day so I asked for a membership and was told the contract would n't start until the week was up. On the fourth day, I XXXX at work. I could no longer attend the gym. I went in and filled out a form saying I am canceling my contract. Two months go by and I start receiving calls from the collection agency non stop all hours of the day claiming they never found the papers saying I ended the contract and I owe the full amount due. I spoke to the manager of the gym who says he has no idea what I 'm talking about, and its the collection agency 's problem now.

I am repeatedly being called while at work, and we are not allowed to take these kinds of calls on the clock or at work in general. I told the gentleman I was speaking to that I could not accept his phone call at work and that he would have to contact my cell phone. I spoke with him on my cell phone about the issue and he keeps reeatedly calling my work after asking him to stop.

Specified Credit Association continues to try to collect a debt that I do n't owe them. I never established a contract with this company and they have continued to call and harass me on my work and home phone and sending me harassing letters indicating that they will report the negative item on to my credit reports if I do n't pay them. They are breaking the FCRA laws.

Specified credit association called my employer without permission. Stated that now that they have verified employment they can go for wage garnishment. They call my cell everyday multiple times and have mailed out several letters regualr and certified. Now they are calling my employer. This is harrasment and the medical bill from my sons dr isnt even that old.
