On XXXX / XXXX / XXXX I received a call from a supposed company called " XXXX ''. Not only did the lady call my phone, she also called my parents house looking for me. She called my mo, first and told my mom that this coming Friday she was either coming to my residence or my job with " papers '' for me to sign and if I did n't sign them then I would be going to court. After she called my mom, she called my phone and told me that if I did n't call this number XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX that she would be coming to my home or my job. I called the number and mentioned the file number she gave me which was XXXX and spoke with a XXXX . XXXX said she worked for SMS recovery which was a pre legal service/attorney office. She said she was representing XXXX and that I owed XXXX . I asked them what kind of company this was and she said a legal company representing XXXX . This company called my elderly parents issuing threats against me to " subpeona '' me to court which upset my parents. This is totally wrong and unlawful

Someone from " SMS Recovery in New York ( although I only know that by calling back ) says they have legal papers to delivery and want to set an appointment to bring them to my daughter 's house ( they keep calling her, my wife, my other daughter, my son, my son-in-law .... ) otherwise they will have to bring them by where she works. We have no idea what they are talking about and will only give us additional information if my daughter gives them her personal information. The Caller ID that comes up whenever they call is a fax machine for XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Texas. I called the XXXX ( the number left by " XXXX XXXX '', answered by " XXXX '', who told me the company and location but refused any other info unless I let him talk to my daughter. Not happening!

States he is from XXXX XXXX XXXX. States my husband and I are going to be criminally charged for payday loans taken out in 2015. I told him to send me paperwork. They have called my mother in law three times now and both of our employers. I told them this is not allowed. Plus they are not allowed to call them more than once. He is threatening criminal charges which is also illegal. I told him to send me paperwork to verify his claims. He told me good luck. I know they can not threaten criminal charges on a payday loan. I also know payday loans are illegal in my state. I can not recall taking these out. I do not appreciate them breaking the law and trying to blackmail me to get me to pay. He said his personal phone number is XXXX

XXXX/XXXX/2015 at XXXX XXXX. they called me at my job, my cell, my brother in law & my sister in law saying the following. " My name is XXXX XXXX I am calling from you can not really hear from where. Then she says, I have a affidavit for you to go to court, If I hide from them, then they will do a summons and to call this number XXXX reference # XXXX. I have saved this message. Why would a collection company do that? I am upset. I am also embarrassed that they called my job and family. If I owe them money, I understand, but to go through this tactics that they are doing is affecting me. I am scared. I ca n't not understand why they do this. My XXXX XXXX went, up. I got knots just listening to the message. I need your assistance.
