Back in XX/XX/2019, I opened a loan consolidation account with Sky Bridge Financial ; and I have been on time with my monthly payments to Sky Bridge Financial since XX/XX/2019. Although I was making regular monthly payments, my account with Sky Bridge Financial did not show on my credit report until late XX/XX/2019. I noticed a sudden drop of XXXX points from my credit score when my account with Skybridge financial was erroneously reported to the 3 credit bureaus back in XX/XX/2019. My credit report showed that only one payment was made since the account was opened. I reached out to Sky Bridge Financial 's customer service department several times to inquire about this issue, but no one was able to help resolve it. The Skybridge Financial 's customer service agent that I spoke with in XXXX, first, told me that this type of account should not be reported to the credit bureaus and confirmed that Sky Bridge Financial did not report it. When I asked him to verify why, how, and by whom was the account reported, he told me that he couldn't help me with this issue and that his department only deals with payment collections. He recommended that I hand-write a letter explaining the problem to " the department that handles Skybridge Financial 's disputes '' ( it was a P.O box address out of XXXX XXXX, CA. XXXX and to file a dispute with the 3 credit bureaus. When I asked for a phone number, Sky Bridge Financial 's agent said that the particular department did not have a phone number and could only be contacted via mail. After I filed the dispute with the credit bureaus, TransUnion and Experian were able to correct and update my credit report. Unfortunately, Experian still shows the Skybridge account on my record as a collection company ; and this is affecting my credit score negatively. After I spoke with an agent at Equifax, he said that Sky Bridge Financial needs to send them a note asking to correct the errors from my report, before they could update my credit report. I reached out, again, to Sky Bridge Financial and asked to speak to someone in charge of issues with the credit reporting bureaus, but no one was able to help me again. Below is the latest email response that I received from Sky Bridge financial : " XX/XX/2019 XXXX XXXX XXXX Support Team replied : Hello, We received your e-mail. This matter needs to be handled by the credit report agency. We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause you.
