I paid my car note on XX/XX/XXXX and I received a thank you for your payment and confirmation number. Then I called by chance two days later and was informed it wasn't accepted and that regardless if a payment is accepted or not their system gives everyone a confirmation number, so you dont know until you either see a ding on your credit report or a call from them, but as it turns out do to their system error, I received a late payment mark on my credit report ( s ) and would like for it to be removed. I received a thank you for your payment and confirmation number and I had the money in bank, everything so I thought everything was good. Once they informed me it wasn't accepted and they said they called me but did not leave a voicemail message not called any of my back up numbers and then I asked why wasn't it accepted. Well I received several different reasons, not to mention when I called I was told too that I could just wait to see if the payment went through or not. So, at this point I am confused and still not sure how I could receive a confirmation number and all, which I have a picture of for evidence, and the payment no be accepted. I was advised that although it says thanks for your payment and gives you a confirmation number, that it does not mean anything as it says that to everyone who makes a payment. One representative said it was the incorrect routing and/or account number and another said the payment was returned. I said how can it be returned if it was the wrong information how could it even have been present for payment and why or how can the system accept incorrect information, as most systems are flagged if checking information is not accepted or the company will advise you. Nevertheless, I call to ask since the confusion was on their behalf and no messages or anything as a courtesy, which they advised me of, if they could remove the negative remark do to the circumstance. It seems as soon as I asked the response was why are you trying to get a house and I said yeah, and then I was told well it takes 30 days so you should be fine. In fact, that too was inaccurate as I was not buying within those 30 days so it is and id affect me and my score went down an entire 74 points because of this. This is very confusing as with most companies, it rejects payments automatically, especially if checks are not accepted and/or the company doesn't accept your payment. In addition, the supervisor stated they had tried to call me but did not leave a voicemail message and was not even sure if my payment had or would be accepted or not. I found this very odd and confusing, not to mention now causing me a hardship unnecessarily. As I had been advised previously, as I recently did have a return payment due to a block on my account because my wallet had been stolen, that they could do a one-time courtesy negative mark removal. So, although they were not sure if it would show as a late payment or not, I am requesting ahead of time in case it is that it be removed. XXXX XXXX, who was the supervisor, seemed to not know much more than then regular customer service reps as they advised me to wait to see if the payment I submitted online would go through and they were not sure if it would or not. She also told me she would pre-advise the company 's customer service advocacy staff that I intend to go to the XXXX and/or the consumer protection agency, not in a good way but in a manner to get them prepared to basically as I feel to not assist me. Her attitude and the lack of knowledge and assistance concerns me too. The only one that could offer me a form of assistance because of the problems I was having and to help me out was XXXX, who I made the payment to via credit card and still no one advised if I could or could not write checks any longer, all they stated was I had once returned earlier in in the year, which I already knew. I then did as promise and made a complaint with XXXX whom in turn allowed not only for them to pass their response time, closed it after two months with no clear reasoning. The company, Skopos, requested my bank statement to confirm the payment wasnt received and returned from the bank, which I provided and they never replied after that and nothing was done, not even their accreditation with XXXX was revoked because of their failure to reply in the timely manner, as I was advised of directly by the XXXX XXXX representative I spoke with. So, I am left with the burden of may not being able to get my home yet because of their faulted payment system. I am filing a complaint not only with the company but XXXX for failure to comply to their own rules and not even reviewing my case fully. I have a detailed outline of this compliant below as well as the response I just received today from XXXX. Consumer 's Desired Resolution : I would like the negative or late payment mark removed from my credit report. As the payment, which I have proof off, was received by me to them via their online payment website and I received confirmation as if the payment was made and accepted. We appreciate the opportunity to remedy any problem that may exist and offer the following response : We have reviewed your account and find that a payment entered on XX/XX/XXXX was declined. Payment due for XX/XX/XXXX was received on XX/XX/XXXX. Based on our review of the account history, we confirm the information reported is correct. Should you feel this is incorrect, please forward a copy of your bank statement that shows the transaction in dispute was paid to Skopos piror to XX/XX/XXXX. Should you have any further questions and/or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our office.Best Regards, Customer Advocacy XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX EMAIL Forward Business response to Consumer XX/XX/XXXX WEB XXXX CUSTOMER DISSAT - MEMBER COMPANY - XXXX REVIEW : ( The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business. ) This is not acceptable and not true at all as the payment was not declined from my bank and was never even received/sent to my bank to be processed, as informed and mentioned in the original response. After I contacted Skopos, they informed me that they were not even sure if my bank had received it or not, as it takes up to three business days for the bank to even receive it, and even had suggested that I wait to see if they decline it or not, so how can they now say the bank declined it. I also request that the conversation I had with the mentioned party and all parties I spoke with on that day be played back to confirm exactly what I am stating, as I am stating facts. In addition, how is it that they received it on the very same day, after stating it take at least 3 busniess days to process, so here again you can see it was a SKOPOS issue. As you can see clearly in the attachment provided, it states paid and thank you with confirmation. Again, I was advised the system always gives confirmation of payment and if I did not receive written notification, which I have not, how was I to know it was declined other than my bank, which never even received the request for the payment. I have proof from previous payments that it takes at least 3 business days as I can provide a statement that shows a previous payment that was declined by the bank. In addition, Skopos advised me that because of the previous returned payment that it was rejected by them and not the bank, so which one is correct, did my bank reject it or did Skopos reject it. Again, i will provide proof from my financial institution that the payment was never even submitted to them and confirmation when the last check that was received was declined. Again, I am wanting the negative mark removed ASAP. XX/XX/XXXX XXXX MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER : ***Document Attached*** In addition to the information provided earlier, I contacted Skopos again to try to resolve this matter, since they are giving wrong information, and spoke with XXXX in the customer advocacy department. She says something different about the situation. She says that the payment was declined because the information regarding my bank account information was wrong. I.e. account number and/or routing number. So, this is the third reason they are coming up with and still refusing to just simply remove the negative remark. She also stated that per the crediting laws that it can not be removed, which apparently and obviously is not correct, if so there would not be a way to dispute things on your credit report. In addition, as I stated earlier, the information was not even submitted to my bank and I have obtained a copy of the bank statement from my financial institution and confirmed that a payment from them was not even submitted on theXX/XX/XXXX nor theXX/XX/XXXX and they submitted my credit card payment on theXX/XX/XXXX and that was not even cleared until XX/XX/XXXX, thus confirming my information that there is no way that my financial institute could have received and declined a check transaction in one day, more so the same day. I am strongly suggesting that all conversations held with them on the XX/XX/XXXX and even today be submitted as proof as to they are not clear what happened, nor why the system they have customers use to make payments gives false information. And, it takes 3 days for a check transaction to clear, so why are they saying my bank returned the check for NSF, then say they declined it when they clearly told me to wait to see if the bank clears it while all along according to what was said to me today, it was no way it was even going ot could be submitted ... .where would they send it. Furthermore, I know I put in the correct information, and without proper information it most likely will be rejected from the system, or shall I say should, as it should know how many numbers are required, etc. If your system didn't even accept the payment, how would it have even been submitted to the bank or even more given me a confirmation of thanks for your payment and a confirmation number. The stories seem to not add up and to make them not look even more incompetent, I request that this one mark be removed, as it was told to me they could do a courtesy reversal, and there is no law stopping them from doing so, as XXXX said to me today. Please see my bank statement attached below and you can see the returned check in XXXX, when it went to the bank, and when it was approved by the bank, which is also confirmation of the process per what I stated, as well as the payment made on the XX/XX/XXXX when it was submitted and when it was cleared. The last payment that was received before XX/XX/XXXX was a returned checked and you can see when it was received and how long it too as proof of how long check payments take to clear and even how long the credit card payment took to be received and paid by my bank. Also, proof no other payment since the one paid prior to the XX/XX/XXXX payment was submitted ( XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX ). In addition, it shows where the NSF fees from the returned check was returned to me because the only reason the check was returned was because my wallet had been stolen and there were fraudulent charges on my account and when the Skopos payment came through the money had not yet been released back into my account to cover my bills, which also I had informed Skopos of this unfortunate incident that occurred to me. How can a customer service rep, a manager and customer advocacy all have different stories, yet work for the same company? I am a victim of identity- theft, I am writing to request that you block all accounts disputed as fraudulent on my credit reports with XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX. I applied for a vehicle Title loan on XX/XX/2022. I uploaded all the documents requested from the company the same day. 2 weeks went by and I didnt hear anything. Once you submit all the documents they state after the upload, they will be in contact within 24 hours. I never heard anything, so I called the company and spoke to a customer service representative named XXXX. XXXX stated I need to upload a new picture of my state ID. So I did and never heard back within 24 hours as stated on their site I would. After you upload all your documents it says we have everything we need we will be in contact within 24 hours. This is false advertisement. So I called back on XX/XX/XXXX and talked to customer service representative named XXXX. Great guy but he was covering his tracks. He stated my loan application has expired and they expire within 30 days. I never received an email or phone call by XXXX XXXX during these 28 days. They canceled my application early with no warning. XXXX wants me to reapply because they canceled my application early. Thats another hard inquiry on my credit report that will take 2 years to fall off. They are misleading consumers. Since they canceled my application 2 days early without notice or follow up. XXXX tells me that they cant except my vehicle because they think its used for commercial purposes. I dont have commercial insurance on the vehicle nor is it listed as commercial on the registration and insurance. They made this a go to excuse because they made an error by not keeping in touch with me and canceling my application prematurely. XXXX stated that they might change this policy and just to wait 30 days before reapplying. They should put this into a disclaimer before they run a consumers credit report. Stating a list of vehicles that they think are commercial vehicles. XXXX the first customer service representative I spoke with said it was fine. This company is trying to cover there mistakes by not following up with customers and misleading consumers applying for title loans on vehicles that theyre stating are commercial vehicles. These companys shouldnt lie to consumers like this. Just deny the loan application and move on. They still have all my personal information at their finger tips. All the documents I sent including drivers license, banking statements etc. They made the mistake and XXXX wants me to take another credit hit on my behalf because of their mistakes. Im considering legal action against XXXX XXXX. Dont use this company for your Title loan.

Thank you for taking time to read my complaint. XX/XX/XXXX I was in a bad spot and didn't have any time to get my credit in a better place before purchasing a new vehicle. I was pretty much left with no choice but to have a high interest rate loan with SKOPOS Financial. I purchased a XXXX XXXX XXXX with XXXX XXXX miles on it. The interest rate is a daunting 23.99 %. From the very beginning of the loan I had a hard time paying it seeing as though the loan was {$540.00} per month. A few times I got behind and although the company allowed me to add 3 payments to the back of my loan I just can't afford it. I had plans to refinance the loan to get a lower interest rate but I couldn't because the late payments kept my credit score down. I started working diligently on my credit XXXX of XXXX and that's when I started doing extensive research into my automobile loan and I realized that over the last 2 1/2 years I have paid {$11000.00} to this {$20000.00} auto loan and of that {$11000.00}, only {$1300.00} has been applied to the principal amount. {$10000.00} has been applied to the interest. According to my online account I still owe {$15000.00} in interest on top of still owing {$18000.00} on the principal balance. I have spoken with quite a few agents at SKOPOS and no one can seem to help me somehow get out of this loan. I have tried multiple times. I went as far as trying to go through XXXX XXXX and my Credit Union to refinance the loan. The car is currently worth only {$6500.00}. I've taken it to about 9 different car dealerships to try to get from under this loan with no luck. No one will take on the negative equity. It was suggested to me to voluntarily give my car back and try to hurry and find something before it shows up on my credit report. I am at a stage in my life where I am diligently working on my credit and I don't want to ruin my credit by going about this the wrong way. I need help getting away from this company. I take full responsibility for having a few late payments. I am correcting my mistakes. At this rate I will NEVER finish paying off this auto loan.

I obtained a loan through skopos financial XX/XX/XXXXXXXX .I began experiencing financial hardship due to being out of work because of my high risk XXXX and right after COVID which lead to falling behind in my car loan payments.I reported this hardship to SKOPOS Financial however they charged off/ wrote off my loan as bad debt XX/XX/XXXX, and Sold my vehicle in a private auction XX/XX/XXXX with out written notice. In XX/XX/XXXX my account was sold to XXXX XXXX I disputed the account with XXXX XXXX and got it removed my credit report shortly after the debt was sold. XX/XX/XXXX SKOPOS financial bought back the debt and continued to report each month as charged off as well as reporting a balance, and monthly payment amount as if the account is still open. XX/XX/XXXX I called SKOPOS and spoke with XXXX from the customer advocacy department and requested for the false information to accurately updated to all 3 credit bureaus. I also spoke with XXXX in the kids mitigations department and requested a copy of the written notice of sale, deficiency letters, and bill of sale for my vehicle that was auctioned off. I was provided a false written notice of sale because it was never received and 2 different deficiency letters which initialed 2 different amount my vehicle was sold for and 2 different balances owed. XX/XX/XXXX the information still hadnt been updated so I disputed the account with all 3 credit bureaus and requested for the account to be deleted due to SKOPOS continuing to report inaccurate information. After the disputes were completed the credit bureaus verified the information as accurate and are continuing to report inaccurate information even though when I spoke to XXXX from SKOPOS she agreed that she would update the inaccurate information. This inaccurate reporting has traumatically affected my credit preventing me from being able to obtain any new lines of credit, car loans, open ended loans, and rental properties. This completely goes again and violates my FCRA rights

I obtained a loan I qualified for through XXXX XXXX originally through springlight financial the agreement was XXXX XXXX dollars with a orgination fee of XXXX XXXX dollars, to be repaid at 35.93 % interest over 48 months paying XXXX per month 45 days after the date of contract ( XX/XX/2022 ) All was well I made my payments on times then one day the company sent me a email saying that they had sold to a new company called XXXX XXXX XXXX I should note that the original company was actually called skopos financial LLC D/B/A springlight financial I had no clue of this until recently ) I paid no mind to the change and continued paying my monthly bill. I ended up hurting my back and being out of work for a while and I started to notice how my ammount due was not ever going down on my credit, so I investigated a little more and to my findings I believe I'm victim of some sort of securities fraud. None of the company 's have any current filings as they should you can't even find XXXX XXXX or springlight financial on sec.gov XXXX search i take that back XXXX XXXX does come up its clearly fraudulent the phone number it gives on there is " XXXX '' and it even says that the only filing available hadn't been reviewed yet by sec gov, for skopos financial LLC it says they are a asset backed securitizer & the abs asset class is auto loans, mind you my loan was a personal installment loan, it says the fiscal year end for skopos is " XXXX '' clearly something is not right with any of this and something fraudulent is taking place. There is a case number on skopos financial I found where they were ordered to file timely and accurate annual reports that case number is with office of consumer credit commissioner state of Texas case # XXXX. Please investigate this promptly

I have a loan through Springlight Financial and called XX/XX/22 to set up a paymet arrangement for XX/XX/22. I was advised it was outside the parameters for payment arrangements but to call back the next day and it would be within. I called back XX/XX/22 and setup a payment arrangement for XX/XX/22. I was called XX/XX/22 by Springlight Financial and explained I had a payment arrangement on file for XX/XX/22. I was advised by the rep he couldnt honor that and the calls and collection efforts would continue. I explained it was a right party contact and calling me again within 2 business days would be a violation of TCPA regs. He called from a XXXX area code. On XX/XX/22 the very next business day I was called 3 times and on the third call I picked up and it was the same rep from the day before. I advised him his company was breaking right party XXXX violations and asked to speak to a manager. He called from a XXXX area code. Unless he moved in one day that seems like deceptive call practices. I was on hold waiting for a manager for 18 minutes before the call dropped. I was then called by XXXX area code and it was the manager. She was in the same location as the rep but I was called by 3 different area codes. I explained the TCPA violations and the right party issues and the auto dial system should have been pushed since a payment arrangement was on file for XX/XX/22. I do not believe that this account is mine and believe that it is being reported inaccurately on my credit reports. I have never been presented with any documentation showing ownership of this account nor was I ever given notice that it was going on my credit and would be damaging to it. Nor was I given notice that I had a 30 day window to dispute this account in the beginning. Nor any documentation on instructions for redeeming the vehicle. Furthermore the account is full of inaccuracies reporting to my bureaus. The account claims to be " open ''. But this vehicle has been repossessed and sold at auction since mid XXXX, yet it is still reporting negatively on my bureau reports monthly. Also it says last payment date on XXXX of XXXX, XXXX XXXX. How can that be when the vehicle was repossessed in mid XXXX? Thirdly it shows as a joint account. With who? That is wrong. I have never had a joint account with anyone. Fourthly ... XXXX reports the account as being " open '' with {$0.00} total balance and {$0.00} past due. But XXXX has the account as " open '' with a {$6800.00} total balance and {$3900.00} past due. How can the same account be showing different information and amounts? This shows that this account may be possible ID Theft or fraud. So why is it remaining on my credit reports to this date. I've attached in this complaint a copy of my XXXX & XXXX credit reports showing false information. And a copy of the cease and desist letter sent to the company directly.

Using XXXX XXXX it stated that I had " outstanding approval '' for a personal loan. I used the link and applied to XXXX XXXX for a {$2500.00} on XXXX XXXX, 2022 and was approved. I even got an email with a " Get my money '' link. There was nothing about it being a secured loan. It asked me for pictures of my car 's odometer as well as pictures of the front and back of my car and my car title. I did all that not realizing why they were asking for it. I also entered personal information and income. The next day, XXXX XXXX, 2022 a representative from XXXX XXXX called asking about my income. She asked me if my only income was XXXX and when I said yes, she rescinded the loan offer. She didn't say it was because the amount I get from XXXX, but because it was my only income. I responded to their loan approval email accusing them of discrimination. That evening the same representative that I talked to the day before called and that they were making an exception for me and approving the loan after all. That told me then that I was right, they got caught discriminating against me and where trying to fix it. It was then that the representative told me that it was going to be a secured loan with my car title as collateral. It's a {$2500.00} loan and my car is worth around {$6500.00}. Ite APR was to be 35 % which is higher than a credit card. I received another email with instructions on sending them my car title and signing the loan. I didn't go through with the loan as I feel I was discriminated against because I'm on XXXX and their tactics seemed shady.

After two weeks of not hearing anything I contacted the head of claims and received contact from XXXX XXXX. I also contacted Skopos Financial LLC on XX/XX/XXXXand informed them that the car was totaled. I continued to receive calls from Skopos and each time I told them the same thing. In XX/XX/XXXX they finally transferred me to someone that deals with total loss vehicles. So in XX/XX/XXXX I guess Skopos finally contacted someone at XXXX XXXX and they came to a settlement. Within the XX/XX/XXXX I received a letter from Skopos they were selling my car. I then received a letter from XXXX XXXX ( GAP ) Program Administrator saying after XXXX XXXX settlement of {$10000.00} and after the coverage exclusion the following amount would be waved by my lender. Skopos waved {$3900.00}, not included was {$1400.00}, for missed payments, This is the amount that I am disputing, it is not my fault that Skopos allowed XXXX to take 4 months to settle this claim and because of this they feel that I should pay for their error. Plus they did an update on my credit report and instead of decreasing the amount I owe they increased the amount by $ 300+. Because of this I can not purchase another car and having problems getting a mortgage for a VA Home Mortgage. Any help you gan give me would be greatly appreciated.

I reported my car stolen on XX/XX/2016 with the XXXX Police Department. When I called Skopos to let them know my car was stolen they said they repossessed it. When I asked why I was told I was 3 months behind - XX/XX/2016. When I faxed proof of payment and called back the next day I got XXXX the manager. She said she the gal I spoke to before told me incorrectly and I was 3 months behind. When I asked which 3 months, XXXX said she did n't know. I told her I reported it stolen with XXXX Police, and my insurance company and she said - you have insurance? I asked if I could get my personal items from the car and she would not tell me where I could get my personal items - coat, cds, or other items from my car. When the XXXX Police ran my information my car has never been reported as repo. Today I received a letter stating my car would be sold after XX/XX/2016. I have never received any type of payment coupons or notices from Skopos so I would still send in my payments. XXXX kept stating that I filed bankruptcy and that 's how my car was 3 months behind. I told her I filed bankruptcy over 2 years ago and asked why was n't I notified or why it was taken then. No response. I have an attorney that has been trying to contact them and will not return her calls. I have filed complaints with the XXXX Attorney General, XXXX Attorney General and XXXX. On XX/XX/2022 I completed a preapproval application for a loan with XXXX XXXX. This had no credit impact so I decided to apply. At that time the company told me I was preapproved for a unsecured loan and a secured loan. I moved forward with the unsecured preapproval option and was approved for the unsecured loan. I was prompted via the website to add my income verification documents and identification for final approval of my loan. After submitted the documentation and verification I was called and told that my loan option had been switched to only a secured loan using my vehicle as collateral. If this would have been stated initially I would never have proceeded with the application which resulted with a hard inquiry on my credit report. It's clear that XXXX never intended to provide me with a unsecured loan. The only goal was to use it as bait to offer we a secured loan. The preapproval for the unsecured loan was false and issued in bad faith as a sales tactic. As a result, I want the credit inquiry from XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022 removed from all 3 credit reporting agencies. If XXXX would not have issued a false preapproval for the unsecured loan I would have never applied in the first place. I have made several disputes with the credit reporting agency reporting that Skopos Financial was not accurately reporting information. The balance that Skopos Financial is reporting to the credit agencies as {$11000.00} does not reflect in the transaction history ledger that Skopos Financial provided. I recently sent a debt validation letter to Skopos Financial requesting that the lender provides transaction and balance history. Per the documents provided by Skopos Financial on XX/XX/XXXX, The balance on this debt after any interest, fees, and liquidation costs was only {$7900.00} as of XX/XX/XXXX. However, an inaccurate amount is being reported and neither has Skopos Financial provided a explanation for the higher balance. Reporting inaccurate and unsubstantiated information to a credit reporting agency may constitute fraud under federal law. I was sold a car by XXXX XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/2018, that has increased in mechanical issues since the date of purchase, The Salesman XXXX was already aware of a heat issue prior to purchase and was suppose to fix the issue the Saturday after purchase, when I arrived they acted as if they were unaware of why I was there, then gave me a number and address to a mechanic who didn't speak english, and kept my car for 4 days without any work getting done, only returning the car because I was getting impatient, and could care less the inconvenience it caused me, there was some minor damage done to my car while it was in the mechanic possession, in which they denied, because I brought the car to them and, they took it to the mechanic, I will not go back there after the last experience I had with them, It took them over a month to give me my tag and title, which was not included in my down payment, and I was unaware, and they withheld it until I had the money to pay for it. The car was less than {$14000.00} used but, I will be paying back over 35,000 over the course of the 6 yr loan, I understand interest rates but, it should never be the same cost of the purchase, and then some. I have contacted the credit places to try and correct this and nothing has been done, seems like this company has not made any reports to the credit reporting places since XX/XX/XXXX when they took the car. Upon reviewing several of my credit monitoring services I was informed on XX/XX/XXXX that Skopos Financial has reported my auto loan as a " bad debt/uncollectable debt '' and proceeded to list the account as a " charge off '' on my credit report. With this my score has dropped significantly preventing me from being eligible for a home loan. The account with Skopos account # XXXX was paid in full by my auto insurance company XXXX also known as XXXX XXXX with claim number XXXX. I reached out to XXXX at Skopos on her direct line of XXXX a total of 11 times between XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to confirm that the account was paid in full in which she did confirm that is was received by XXXX and showing no balance as of XX/XX/XXXX. Within those 11 calls she informed me several times that if the account was paid in full there would be no charge off. On today, XX/XX/XXXX I called Skopos a total of 5 times to try and resolve the issue. 3 out of the 5 calls I was cold transferred. 1 out of the 5 I was given a XXXX number that was not reachable and on the 5th call I was escalated to a manager who could not assist. All five years I have had this company my credit report shows all on time payments. Please resolve this matter immediately.

skopos financial lost XXXX of my payments made in XX/XX/XXXX which were made in agreement for a deferment to secure my loan. As a result of their negligence in losing my payments which made the account more delinquent than it actually was and subsequently caused them to repose my vehicle on around XX/XX/XXXX. I disputed the missing payments with them by sending official bank statements and the bank ( XXXX ) speaking to them verifying the payments were made and on what days. Skopos Financial refused to accept my official bank statements, debit card transaction and payment receipts as proof of payment. Skopos also never sent me any documentation about the repossession or the auction within the 14 day time frame as required by law. I filed a dispute against Skopos Financial concerning the documentation that I nor the primary borrower received with the XXXX, XXXX. From XX/XX/XXXX, the only amount I have owed Skopos Financial is {$2100.00} according to their website. I printed the statement from website. I have paid this amount. I paid off this loan on XX/XX/ with a mailed check. I called one week later, because by the time they cashed the check they withdraw the monthly payment from my bank, so it was an overpay of {$190.00}. The woman told me that they will reimburse me the amount with a check within 30~45 working days. I called back on Wednesday XXXX checking about the check and the payoff letter that never arrived. I am having problems with the Loan/finance company for my vehicle. The day after I had purchased the vehicle the finance company called me to welcome me to work with them. I mentioned to them that I am a construction tradesman and always out in the field. I gave them my wifes information and gave them permission to speak with her at all times regarding my payments. We ended up behind in payments because they keep telling her that I have to call them to give them permission to talk with her. They have her information on file but refuse to look for it. We initially contacted Skopos Financial in XX/XX/2018. My credit report had not been updated with my current payments since XX/XX/2018. We spoke to representative there that advised it would be updated in the first week of XX/XX/2018. The first week of XXXX came and went and nothing was reported. We contacted them again and were advised it would be updated immediately per the Credit Reporting dept that we were transferred to on the call. As of XX/XX/XXXX, it still had not been corrected, so we filed a complaint with the XXXX XXXX XXXX that did reach out to them -Case # XXXX. I opened two loans ( in short period of time ) with XXXX XXXX. The First loan was on XX/XX/XXXX in the amount of {$10000.00}. I took out a loan with this company XX/XX/2022. For {$4000.00}. I have been making payments, but have run into financial difficulties. I have received funds to be able to pay the loan off in advance of the full term, and called for my payoff. As of today, the balance is {$4400.00}. When making payments above the minimum amount due, this company does not automatically apply those funds towards the principal. It is instead held back and given as a credit on the next payment. This company wrongly collects interest on the portion of the loan that should have been paid down on the principal by with holding the funds instead of applying them to the principal. Also, while trying to apply a payment through their website, regardless of the browser used, and even by following their directions to allow 3rd party cookies, the website will not allow you to make a payment. You either have to send in a check, or call their automated service, which results in a fee.

I was a cosigner on an auto loan with my ex wife and we divorced and it was stated in the divorce decree that she will take up the payments and be responsible for the auto loan. Skopos Financial Recently lost a law suit and a major case against illegal and unfair loan practices. I was included in the law suit. They had to pay me all of my monies back. This issue is they also agreed to remove the negative reports from my credit and they have not removed it from all the reporting agencies.
