I had a medical debt that was part of a large amount that I thought I had paid. {$370.00}. I got served for a lawsuit over it, and received the service today, XX/XX/2020. The paper works says I owed the {$370.00} to the hospital, and was being charged an additional {$200.00} for legal fees. For a total of {$570.00}. I contacted the debt collection agency, SB & C of XXXX XXXX, Washington. I started by saying I wasn't contacted over this. She said " you were contacted at work, and said 'i 'm at work I'll call you back ' and hung up on us '' that probably did happen. If I didn't call back it's because they called from a blocked number. I then said I'd pay the debt. She told me I owed {$900.00}. I said the paperwork only says {$570.00}. she told me there were additional fees. We then went back and forth, and I said I'd just pay the {$900.00}, she said I needed to sign a paper forfeiting my legal rights. I said fine, here 's my email. She told me it could only be faxed. I said I don't have a fax machine. She said go to a public place like XXXX and we'll fax it there. I said I have a newborn I can't, I'll just go to the court date and offer to pay it. She said if I did that I'd have a judgement against me. I said but I'd be paying it, she said " I've been doing this 15 years and you'll have a judgement, you aren't special or the first one to try to get out of this stuff. '' Why can a company continue charging me interest and damaging my credit after I've offered to pay it, because they wont accept payment unless I jump through hoops. I even called their attorney 's office, who said they couldn't talk to me, but that she shouldn't have said that, and that no one has a fax anymore.

XX/XX/XXXX, I discovered that I have been a victim, and continue to be, of identity theft. over the course of the past nine months, I have had to dispute ( as fraud ) a plethora of trade lines, liens, foreclosures, collections etc. through all three of the credit reporting agencies ; XXXX, XXXX and XXXX. As of today, there is still a few companies left that vehemently refuse to remove my fraudulent debt with them even after numerous calls, over 20 x 's disputing with XXXX even though it has been indisputable that these collections are of a fraudulent nature. The name of the company is Skagit Bonded Collections. After speaking with them numerous times, it appears that these XXXX collections are medical bills that were apparently charged from a hospital in a town our county to which I have never frequented. even though I was a resident in the state of Washington from XX/XX/XXXX - XX/XX/XXXX, the name and previous addresses that they have on file do not match me. I have never lived at either of the addresses they claim and the debts are apparently under my name with the suffix of XXXX attached. I have sent them and the reporting agencies my passport, driver 's license, social security card and proof of current address to no avail. They continue to insist that this debt is mine and subsequently each time they report such to XXXX, it then changes my name to XXXX. I have disputed these collections every few weeks for the past 8 months and it still sits on my credit report.

Skagit Bonded Collectors of XXXX XXXX, WA is trying to collect a debt that was submitted my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX, WA. The debt was allegedly accrued in XX/XX/XXXX. I filed Bankruptcy after that date and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and Skagit Bonded Collectors were both notified by myself as well as the bankruptcy court of the proceeding. The matter seemed to have been dealt with and removed from my credit report. Once again XXXX XXXX and Skagit Bonded Collector 's have reared their ugly heads and turned this debt over for collections again with the knowledge that this debt has been written off in Bankruptcy. Once again, I have emailed both of them and followed up with a written correspondence and went as far to call someone at Skagit Bonded Collector 's, but the debt is clearly on my credit report again. This is illegal and both these companies know this. Maybe they are trying to cause problems knowing that with the COVID situation that I am unable to resolve this issue by going to court myself. I have in my posession a collection letter from XX/XX/XXXX trying to collect this debt on behalf of XXXX XXXX as well, I have a new letter from XX/XX/XXXX trying once again to collect this debt. I was sued for medical debt last year, I didnt know I had a court date. My wages were garnished. After that I was able to contact them and set up a payment plan and canceled the garnishment. I paid off that whole amount. However I have paid well over the amount they were granted. After this case was closed they came back to tell me I owe another {$2500.00} and a lot of this is interest and daily interest is charged. I then again set up another payment plan and paid a bunch of money. Apparently I still owe another {$2500.00} and Im not sure how it never goes down. I have emailed and called many times to have my open debt and all payments sent over to me to verify because I am positive I have been paying them free money. They agreed on the phone two weeks ago but have never sent me anything and stopped responding on email. I asked for a payoff amount and to verify my debt. Yet I get nothing. I have been trying to close this account for over a year but they keep making it impossible. Id like help because Im not sure what to do at this point.

A collection agency in XXXX XXXX Washington named SB & C never contacted me that I had an account that was referred to them, they say they called and sent a letter but I never received either. After 30 days of it being in collections they filed a lawsuit against me. When my wife was handed the paperwork she notified me. I called SB & C and told them that they never contacted me and they said that the lawsuit is their attempt to contact. It cost me {$680.00} to pay off a {$350.00} medical bill. I was never notified of a court date, so I missed it. How can a collection agency sue someone without prior contact regarding my account being sent to them. I feel as if the whole thing was a huge con. They would not provide proof that they had contacted me other than just saying that they had. This happened last year but I did n't know I could file a complaint till now. Their tactics are completely unfair and I do n't see how it can be legal to do what they did to me. Any help or information regarding this would be greatly appreciated.

I SEE that a collection for : SKAGIT BONDED COLLECTION XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX , WA XXXX Appears on my report. I DO NOT HAVE ANY CONTRACT with SBC as they have not ORIGINAL WET INK SIGNATURE WITH ME. You have successfully helped me on past issues like this whereby the collection company has REMOVED the collection. They have not contacted me either by mail or phone and I have no contract with them proving I OWE THEM ANYTHING. THEY ARE NOT the CREDITOR, XXXX XXXX XXXX IS and since they BOUGHT the DEBT, that 's THEIR PROBLEM, NOT MINE. THE CFPB has set precedent in my case, three times, in past requests, where they FORCED a COLLECTION AGENCY to remove their INTRUSION on my credit report with FALSE information. HAVE THEM PROVE they have an ORIGINAL WET INK signature of mine and I 'll pay them. The WET INK SIGNATURE MUST BE ON THEIR LETTERHEAD stating I OWE THEM the stated AMOUNT and for what reason. XXXX?, XXXX my VA loan was processing with myself and partner. Loan adviser noted that partner had a collection. We knew about it, have been disputing it for years ... hosp bill. I contacted the collection agency to try and take care of bill. I offered half of what the bill was..being nice knowing that we weren't responsible for it. The man said no, hung up. A couple weeks later we decided to continue the loan process anyways, wouldn't affect it. A day before the inspection/appraisal, after months of getting our loan together, the bill was on my credit report. I called them very angry and they said they have proof of a marriage lic for me and partner. We are NOT married. I lost my loan. I sent them a letter stating remove it or else. It's still there and I can't move forward with a new house until its removed. I have nothing to do with this bill. I have contacted a lawyer. This company is fraud ... This is with regard to Skagit Bonded Collectors. This collection agency employs my ex-husband. I have requested that, due to my belief that this situation is retaliatory, that they cease all activities and remove the accounts from my credit and their offices. My ex-husband has disclosed the debts to our children, while he was at work. When I wrote a letter of complaint to the collection agency, I received a letter in response telling me they saw no third party disclosure. Unfortunately, I too am a debt collector and know the law. They are not allowed to discuss my debts with anyone other than myself. That includes my ex who not only disclosed the debts to my children violating the law but also disclosed accounts that were placed in his employers office. I am asking that, due to these violations, these be removed immediately from my credit report and sent back to the original creditors as noncollectable due to a conflict of interest.

On XX/XX/2018 I contacted SB & C, Ltd. was referred to XXXX? and asked for verification of amount I owed. Twice she refused, said a letter was in the mail and would not verify the amount. This woman was aggressive in her tone and condescending. I told her I had not raised my voice to her and that she was being rude. The Lady hung up on me. Recently XX/XX/XXXX the judge had reduced my LFO and sent it back to collections. In the 7 years that this company has held my account, I received two letters, one on XX/XX/2018 and XX/XX/2018. Until 2018 I was unaware this company had an account for me.The interest charges on this account are being disputed. This lady has the ability to spin someones life out of control with her attitude. I have the right to be treated fairly.

ex-wife took daughter to hospital without my knowledge, I pay for medical coverage for my daughter.Ex-wife signed financial paperwork at hospital and never paid uncovered costs. collection agency immediately reported to my credit report of failure to pay for uncovered costs. I never entere into any contractual agreement with hospital to pay uncovered cost and I never received any bill from hospital or ex-wife and never received any verbal or written notification from collection agency. I contacted the credit agency and made a complaint and they came back and said that collection agency had documentation proving that I was a responsible party. The collection agency has never provided me with documentation of what was owed or who it was owed to and for how much.

Found on credit report 3 medical debts that have been reported as unpaid since discharged in XXXX XXXX bankruptcy in XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I contacted collection agency that purchased the debt from original company. I informed them the debts were included in my bankruptcy. They informed me the debts were post bankruptcy. I know this to be inaccurate since I did not visit the medical clinic since filing for bankruptcy. I went to the original clinic and retrieve the last date of my medical visit and the date was in XXXX of XXXX, months before filing for bankruptcy. I called again debt collector and asked for a copy of the debt but never received anything from them.

Skagit Bonded Collection for XXXX XXXX I asked them to verify debt pursuant to The Fair Debt Collection Act SS XXXX they sent a letter, followed by a phone call on XX/XX/2021 at XXXX XXXX ( PAC ) time, stating that they are not required to send me anything. I sent certified letter on XX/XX/2021 notifying them that their response did not comply with the FDCPA SS809. Cease all collection activities until they comply by providing me the requested information. I will be seeking civil liabilities pursuant to section 813 for wilful noncompliance. I obtained a copy of my credit report on XX/XX/2021 Skagit Bonded Collection is on there.

Good morning, I would like to start to say that I got very sick on XX/XX/2017. there has been a numerous procedures that took place in XXXX XXXX hospital . I haven't been able to pay the part that my insurance didn't cover. I tried to work with them and every time the price goes up in my debts. every day they said accumulate interest. I noticed I have an account being reported on all three of my credit reports. I have requested this company, skagit bonded, to validate this debt. Instead I received interesting responses, and they failed to validate this debt. What they're doing is illegal, and per my attorney 's instructions I have first reporting to the CFPB and the attorney general. I also would like to request this companies Washington state representative so I can take them to court if they still refuse to abide by federal law. Attached is my correspondence with this company. I was given an exact amount for medical service that was quoted over the phone. Prior to the appointment with the doctor I paid for entire visit. After the visit they tried to charge extra without any explanation. There were no tests or special treatment during the visit. When I talked to the accounts receivable department the lady agreed that I should not have been charged. When I called after they filed delinquent payments, another lady said she puts everything into collections and I was too late in calling her. I do not owe this unjust and made up charge.

My paychecks started getting garnished from a collection agency for a debt I never knew about, the apparent debt is 12 years old, the agency claims they contacted me once 10 years ago, and never again for the last 10 years. Ive never in the last 10 years received any statement, bill, notification, phone call, or any attempt to contact me regarding this alleged debt.

They are reporting this debt to the credit bureaus, yet the paperwork they provided ( attached ) clearly shows this is over 7 years old. This is a false representation to the credit bureaus. The statute of limitations has expired. It can not be legally reported to the credit bureaus.
