I went to meet up with a rep of XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX to getting a loan using my car as collateral and ask for XXXX , prior to asking the man on the phone *XXXX* said that they would need to put a gps on my car and only give me XXXX $ cause of fees for stuff about dmv and titles. So I ask XXXX and XXXX was skeptical over phone and said hell ask his associates and come back saying okay but youll only get XXXX cause of fees and stuff. As I was talking to his assistant to sign paperwork to make it official they told me that normal title loans youll pay interest rate like any other title loans. So when the assistant went over the paperwork with me on her computer she said an estimate of XXXX I would have to payback with no time frame prior paying back so it sounded reasonable me cause I borrowed a bit more and would have to pay a little more from interests and fees. So months went by and I started to notice that the balance I owe wasnt going down and email them saying why it kept going up and down on my payoff balance account and they respond that it changes daily on my account. Didnt think about it too much and forgot about it. Come about a year later Im stilling paying it so I look about my copy of paperwork and notice that they gave me XXXX $ and the APR is 128 % over 36 month time period and after Ive done payed off my total would be over XXXX . Ive email them about this and gotten no respond as of XX/XX/XXXX

Due to the XXXX of my father I had to take a couple of months off to be next to him. The only resort I had at that time is to take a car title loan from 5 star Loan in XXXX, CA. I keep prepaying larger amounts than my interest but my payoff amount is been stagnant. I have been suffering to pay off that loan and have reached out to them by email and phone numerous times because I do not think my larger prepayments are being honored correctly and this is why I have been stuck. Their calculations seem pretty confusion and their explanations are very vague and I suspect that I am being scammed. I Have already Paid {$6300.00} on a {$4100.00} loan and my payoff amount is still around {$3100.00}. I have emailed them specifics about my where I suspect discrepancies but they do not want to reply by mail and want me to call. I have called before and was lost in their explanations.

Someone took out a title loan on my car because they had stolen the my title from my residence. I did not know about this until very recently and I believe the title loan was taken out about a year ago. I have a XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I purchased the vehicle in late XXXX of XXXX. I payed cash for it. The company that did the title loan was montana capital. I never authorized or would even think about taking out a title loan on my vehicle. The loan was for somewhere between {$7000.00} and {$8000.00} I believe. I do not want them touching my vehicle because it is mine and not theirs. I have the bill of sale and everything is in my name. I did not even know the title was missing. Can you please help me.

So what Happened here I paid in full and can't get a release of my title from them they refuse to give it back it's been two months going on three. They are simple cash loans llc XXXX XXXX XXXX. I got my husbands car impounded by police, car had 30 day hold on it. I went to XXXX for XXXX. When I got out in 3 days found out husband was XXXX. Next day my husband passed away. We had a title loan him borrower, me co signer. I called company told them everything. They said they would get car out and I would have to pay fees to get it back. We talked the whole month.
