My vehicle was repossessed Tuesday night/Wednesday morning XXXX. At XXXX Wednesday morning I called Sierra credit asking how I can pay and get my vehicle back. I was told someone will contact me when ready. I then called XXXX XXXX and coastline recovery services who BOTH told me Sierra credit already had what they needed from them and it was on them to tell me how much to pay and where to pay to get my vehicle back. I called Sierra credit back to let them know what I was told and the girl from Sierra credit said " they'll call you when they're ready, Your not the only person repoed ''. I called every day multiple times a day to try and pay to get my vehicle back as I have XXXX children who I needed to take to school etc. Sierra credit was unbelievably unprofessional and disrespectful, I cant even put into words how sick they made me. Obviously frustrated at one point I had asked " is this what you guys do to get more money, you just rack up days and charge daily '' she ( Sierra credit employee ) flat out said " YEAH, IF THEY WANT TO THEY CAN this is your fault for missing a payment these are the consequences ''. She said they will get to me whenever they get to me. Our conversation was not ever pleasant. She was disgustingly rude and unprofessional, she kept talking over me, cutting me off when speaking, threatening to hang up on me until I can pay attention. Because I repeatedly asked same questions. The amount of disrespect I received was disgusting. The attitude these employees have was unbelievable. On Monday XX/XX/23 Sierra credit FINALLY called me and said she would let me get my car if I paid in cash at a XXXX and can only accept cash in 2 separate transactions. I asked why only cash when I can pay now ( from work ) online. She said " its our policy '' so I asked her if she can send me the policy so I can read it. She said " ok, so your forfeit your vehicle then because you want to read the policy so I have to send to you by mail and you will be charged additional storage fees daily. I said NO I want to pay today and get my car but I want to read the policy SHE CONTINUOUSLY TRIED TO GIVE ME ULTIMATUMS saying " if you want to read the policy you can't get your vehicle because you have to wait till you get in the mail, so which is it, Do you want your vehicle or not ''. Mind you at this point it has been 6 ( SIX ) days and I still have not received ANYTHING in writing from Sierra credit about any of this. Including fees, itemized breakdowns etc. I paid {$1200.00} at the XXXX to Sierra credit Monday afternoon WITHOUT even knowing all reasoning for the fees in detail. My monthly payment is only XXXX. She said it was for 2 late payments but wouldn't give me anything in writing. Desperate to have a vehicle for my children i paid like i was told.. When I asked about the fees later, Sierra credit said the place that has my car charges them storage fees and they charge me. I STILL do not have my car, I still have not received anything in writing. They finally said you can contact coastline service to pick up your vehicle. Upon speaking with coastline service they are charging me an additional {$650.00} to get my car back. When asked about the fees, they told me SIERRA CREDIT puts in the contract what I have to pay. They said its honestly on them. I am so emotionally stressed. To be quite frank, I fell behind on my payment due to a recent death I had been dealing with. The stress and financial burden that was put on me was the reason to my set back and I own that. But the unbelievable lack of professionalism in this company is disgusting. I was constantly disrespected and neglected. They purposely didn't contact me so that they can charge me more fees EVEN THOUGH I TRIED TO PAY AND GET MY CAR BACK WEDNESDAY MORNING when they first took it. I called MULTIPLE times and was told to stop calling, they would get to me when they get to me. Having to figure situations out for my children etc. This place of business is disgusting and I believe operates illegally. I pray to XXXX no one ever deals with them, they treat they're loyal customers like dirt and the employees couldn't be professional if you paid them! I wouldn't wish this agony, stress and punishment on anyone. Please shut this business down, look into them, listen to their " recorded line '' phone calls and hear the way they operate.

From XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, CA XXXX ATTENTION : FRAUD DEPARTMENT ; I have recently discovered in my credit file a Creditor reporting in my consumer file an account that is fraud. This will be Sierra Credit Corporation account numbers # XXXX and XXXX. Now Sierra is using two variations of the account number and I will provide proof with documents for your review, but it is one account that I am addressing here. I want to make this matter clear that this is Not an Identity theft complaint. This is a case of reporting in my credit report of inaccurate information in my account. On XX/XX/2023 I sent Sierra Credit Corporation a letter tracking number XXXX informing them about the error of the reporting. On XX/XX/2023 I received a response from Sierra Credit Corporation advising me that they have conducted an investigation and they won't comply with my request and wont take any action. Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1681a - Definitions ; rules construction ( e ) The term investigative consumer report means a consumer report or portion thereof in which information on a consumers character, general reputation, personal characteristics, or mode of living is obtained through personal interviews with neighbors, friends, or associates of the consumer reported on or with others with whom he is acquainted or who may have knowledge concerning any such items of information. However, such information shall not include specific factual information on a consumers credit record obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from a consumer reporting agency when such information was obtained directly from a creditor of the consumer or from the consumer. I believe that they did not make a lawful investigation according to the law above. I also believe that all Sierra Credit Corporation did is match my name and SSN and account number and called it correctly. That information was not in question here in my complaint with Sierra Credit Corporation. According to 15 U.S. Code 1681s2 - Responsibilities of furnishers of information to consumer reporting agencies. ( a ) Duty of furnishers of information to provide accurate information ( 1 ) Prohibition ( A ) Reporting information with actual knowledge of errors A person shall not furnish any information relating to a consumer to any consumer reporting agency if the person knows or has reasonable cause to believe that the information is inaccurate. Sierra Credit Corporation has this account classified as a charge off. According to the IRS when a Creditor charges off an account they must file a 1099-C cancellation of debt. After the creditor charges the account off it becomes Income to both parties the consumer and the creditor. According to XXXX income does NOT get reported. Furthermore pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1681a ( 2 ) ( A ) ( i ) - Definitions ; rules of construction. And it states the following ; ( 2 ) Exclusions.Except as provided in paragraph ( 3 ), the term consumer report does not include ( A ) subject to section 1681s3 of this title, any ( i ) report containing information solely as to transactions or experiences between the consumer and the person making the report ; The key here is to highlight the TRANSACTIONS OR EXPERIENCES. What are these? Virtually everything like late payments, charge offs, and more. So a charge off is being reported as inaccurate information Pursuant to 15 U.S. Code 1681e ( b ) - Compliance procedures. ( b ) Accuracy of report They must delete the furnishing of this account pursuant to : The FCRA 15 U.S. Code 1681e - ( b ) Compliance procedures ( b ) Accuracy of report Whenever a consumer reporting agency prepares a consumer report it shall follow reasonable procedures to assure maximum possible accuracy of the information concerning the individual about whom the report relates. I will provide all the supporting documents to support my complaint against Sierra Credit Corporation.

On XXXX XXXX, 2017, I tried to make my auto payment to SierraCredit.com ; however, the password reset and register option just would not let me do it. Unfortunately ; it was after hours ( I work until late ) and the office was not open to call. I called in on XXXX XXXX, 2017, and let them know the website still will not let me in and I need to make a payment. I called my mother whom was making this payment for me with her card and conferenced her in. First issue, was they just began talking to her without making sure I was who I said I was and second my mother asked if the late charge ( approx. {$16.00} ) could be waived as the website is down and she was told " nope ''. The unprofessional-ism in this company is astonishing. After the payment was made my mother had asked about being able to log on in the future since this late charge in no way should be charged to me and the rep did not offer to assist me getting logged in once. She stated she would put supervisor XXXX on the call. As we waited over 10 mins on silence another very unprofessional supervisor by the name of XXXX got on the line and continued to over talk my mother. She says to my mom XXXX is authorizing you in which I say I do ( again they dont check to see I am who I say ) At one point my mother said can you let me finish talking when XXXX responded " I was talking first ''. Where do they hire these people? My mother has been a manager for corporations for 20 years and if her staff spoke to anyone this way they 'd be out the door. My mother then asked XXXX to remove my only late charge in 17 payments. XXXX then told her that I have FIVE lates which is absolutely untrue and can prove it as my mother makes the payments for my every month on the XX/XX/XXXX ( my grace period is until the XX/XX/XXXX ). My mom ask where on the website does it say that, and XXXX responds its on the statement. Where? Im looking and it does not say that. XXXX stated if you make your payment on the weekend the grace period days arent counted because it will apply on Monday ( WHAT ) thats not legal at ALL. My mother then ask for one of those late charges to be waived and she again is told no. This will be going to an attorney as well. No one gave me my mini miranda which they should know is illegal.

The finance charge shall not include fees and amounts imposed by third party closing agents ( including settlement agents, attorneys, and escrow and title ACCORDING TO MY CONTRACT THE FINACE CHARGE IS THE SUM OF ALL CHARGES WHICH IS XXXX THIS COMPANY DECIDED TO CHARGE ME A TOTAL OF XXXX I HAVE PICS FOR PROOF THATS A XXXX DOLLAR DIFFERENCE ON TOP THAT THE DEALER TOOK MY XXXX DOLLAR CASH DOWNPAYMENT AND INCLUDED IT IN THE TOTAL SALE PRICE WHICH IS A VIOLATION OF 15 U.S. Code 1692e - False or misleading representations AND A VIOLATION OF 15 USC 1692J Furnishing certain deceptive forms ALSO THE DEALER DID NOT DISCLOSE THE SECURITY INTEREST IN SMALL WRITING, Vehicle Code Section 11713.18 11713.21 was violated as well

Complaining about Company : Sierra Credit http : //sierracredit.com/ Sierra Credit Corporation XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX This company repossessed my car XX/XX/2020 in the height of Covid19 quarantine. Im an uber driver and I lost my income since quarantine 2nd week of XXXX. I informed them thru email about just getting another job XX/XX/XXXX and will be receiving my first check on XX/XX/XXXX. Even with this communication, they still towed and repossessed my car. I dont know how much more excess fee on towing I will get. This company needs to be reviewed. Financing companies are extended loans by the Federal Government to cushion the financial status of small businesses during this unexpected epidemic recession. They are afforded extensions and interest perks by the Federal government, I wonder why they SQUEEZE their clients dry poor especially during this national emergency. I know Im not a perfect client and have been delayed in payments but these people, this company is SHREWD to be enjoying taxpayers money while they leave their clients poor by UNREASONABLY grabbing their hard earned assets. This company has no compassion for its consumers.

I had gotten a loan from Sierra Credit in XXXX, CA i let the car go resulting in my credit getting hit. Eventaully they brought my score way down and i decided to contact them and pay them to have them show im paying the loan. XXXX said i would see a difference in XX/XX/XXXX. I payed them since XX/XX/XXXX only to see they keep updating my credit as negative. I have receipts that im paying but they keep hurting score, i have tried contacting them to speak to XXXX and the representives tell me i will get a call back. This was over a month ago. I refuse to pay more money to this company as they are hurting my credit score regardless if i pay them or not. I wonder how many individuals theyve done this too already. I have not and will not pay until i receive a call, which the neglect to do.

I bought a used XXXX XXXXXXXX car thru Sierra credit Corp. My cousin a XXXX for 30yrs looked at the.car for me. It wasn't running right. He told me it had internal engine problems. It was not worth the repairs. I called Sierra credit n told them the information. I then had been paying for the car a year. I asked them to come get the car I didn't want it anymore. I owed about {$3500.00} for the car. Sierra credit was there the next day n took back the car. They then sold it again. I've been getting charged for the car ever since. They sold the car for XXXX XXXX or more. They still wanted all that money from me. I didn't owe them nearly the amount they were charging. I called them to stop the charges. Despite the multiple previous written requests, the unverified items listed below still remain on my credit report in violation of Federal Law. Sierra Credit Corporation, Agreed to remove and delete this account from all 3 credit Bureaus upon returning the vehicle. so far they have deleted from XXXX, but wont delete it from the other 2 they provide different inaccurate information. In XXXX they claimed I opened account on XX/XX/XXXX, On XXXX they claim XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX they reported to XXXX the account was refinanced, before they reported that the car was reposed, also payment information is in incorrect. Complete amount was paid off. Now the Sierra credit States I owe another {$38.00} and they claim they sent a notice of this which they did not. The only reason I was even informed was due to me calling to find out where the pink slip of the vehicle is. This credit company even charges over {$6.00} to make a payment through either the automated system or on line. Also when I sent a check through my bank they would never cash is cash it causing my account late fees, etc.
