I had already filed a complaint about these attorney 's when they filed for foreclosure last year. Once I filed the complaint, they quickly backtracked on the foreclosure when I alerted them to the fact that the whole reason for the issues was that XXXX XXXX XXXX, and then XXXX, refused to deal with the fact that I had provided insurance documentation, XXXX just refused to process it even after provided it more than once and notified them another time or two that had provided it. This is all documented with the CFPB.
Upon communicating with the attorneys, it seemed we were going to be able to resolve the issues, finally, I had been trying to resolve issues with XXXX for probably 7 or more years. I knew they would have issues getting documentation from XXXX and I at least had the impression we could reach a quick settlement so I spent the time, acted in good faith and provided them all the documentation and we discussed what the expectations where ... I actually thought we communicated very well and of course all communications are in writing so I'm sure that can be confirmed. I was never told there were any issues with the expectations and really quite the opposite. I was told a settlement was coming, I was told that for months and then promised by the new year but yet it never came. All that was sent was some kind of statement, no documentation on the calculations, just a XXXX balance backed by no other documentation.
During this time a lot of harassment continued. Since they filed the foreclosure they destroyed my previously perfect credit but yet I asked repeatedly if they had done anything to restore it and never got a response which of course they did nothing. Basically the whole story is they did nothing except I guess try to cover their butts. Then I got notices that some other company took over servicing, then another notice that another company took over the ownership of the loan. When I questioned the attorneys I stated it seemed odd since we were supposed to be talking about a settlement, that I had cash to cover a settlement which they were told from the beginning so why all these changes to the loan? I think it's pretty obvious while telling me one thing, their actions and intentions were something else. Then they got another attorney involved which I'll file a separate complaint on dealing with her but all she wanted to do was waste more of my time re-writing what I had already presented to these attorneys and really could tell had zero desire to do anything reasonable, to act in good faith all things considered, most likely was just another part of covering the butt 's of really everyone involved. It's just really hard to believe that no one has really been able to say, 'oops, we messed up, here 's how we're going to fix it ' and at least try to be reasonable.
The bottom line is all of these mortgage issues were supposed to have stopped, banks and the servicer 's and their attorney 's were supposed to cut all of this out. Huge agreements reached and settlements paid but if my account is any indication of things, absolutely nothing changed!

Due to the mishandling ( purely ignoring ) the information ( insurance documentation ) which began a series of events, a house I own is now in foreclosure. I 've tried tirelessly to have the issues addresses which XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX even the CFPB, and now, the attorneys handling the foreclosure SHD Legal Group PA, XXXX XXXX, FL ) just ignore all correspondence. I 've continually attempted to proactively address issues prior to 'escalation ' but no one seems interested in that, probably just interested in acquiring a home worth over {$200000.00} for a loan amount that should be $ XXXX or less and I 've stated several times I could pay off with cash.
I provided SHD Legal Group with not just the information that began this entire situation but at that point they also had my best contact information but they have yet to be in contact. Based on the information I assumed they would quickly reverse course and check the facts to reduce the damages I have suffered ( obviously this has hit my credit ) but they have not at all.
I 'm also here, just like I 've always been, I 'm not running from this but I 'm getting word of the process server harassing/scaring the tenants and now my work which if someone would just ask to meet up, they just need to be in contact, in writing, everything in writing ... The fact is usually work from home and this past week my XXXX year old mom had pretty serious XXXX and it did n't go too well so I 've been at the hospital quite a bit. This is a two way street though, be in touch, I 'll address their issue of where we can meet up and I request information related to why or why not they have refused to be in contact and consider the information sent to them. I have attached a copy of the emails.
