Our Experience with XXXX Historical background : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX approached us ( unsolicited ) back in XX/XX/XXXX and offered to do a free Energy Audit and to recommend energy saving ideas for our home in XXXX, Florida. Upon arrival and after reviewing our past electric bills, the salesperson ( XXXX ) offered to install a solar system that would completely offset our electric bills from XXXX XXXX XXXX for a cost of {$18000.00}. He said we could easily qualify for no money down loan from another agency ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ) that XXXX had a good business relationship with. He went on to say that the loan would be structured with a low enough interest rate ( 2.99 % ) payable in 12 years so that our monthly/yearly loan payment ( PITI ) would always be less than our future electric bills from XXXX. In fact, we would be saving enough money in the process that it would also pay for our gas bills from XXXX. He wrote his offer down on a Purchase Agreement form with XXXX XXXX logo on the upper left corner and quite a few clauses in fine print ( see attachment ). We trusted him and signed Purchase Agreement without reading it thoroughly- thinking we would be generating green energy at our home while saving some money in the process. That was our mistake number 1 since we did not know what was meant by a 3.48 kW solar system and trusted XXXX when he claimed to have a lot of experience in sizing a solar system just by reviewing past electric bills. We also were unaware that XXXX was not connected to XXXX XXXX in any legal sense. The very next day ( XX/XX/XXXX ), two of their field personnel showed up at our home to install the two solar attic fans that were part of the purchase agreement. They proceeded to cut two large holes on our roof and installed the fans very quickly giving us the impression that they knew what they were doing. They said they would be back to install the solar panels at another time. When we asked if they were concerned about getting approval from our HOA first and whether or not all of the solar panels would fit on the sunny side of our roof, they said they were confident of getting all the approvals on time and did not have any concerns about the roof space since they would be installing only 12 solar panels. At this point an alarm went off in my head since I had seen at least another home in our neighborhood that had gone solar and had quite a few ( more than 12 ) solar panels. I asked them if they thought 12 panels would be adequate to totally offset our electric bills, they said it would be better if they could add 6 more panels but suggested that I called XXXX ( salesperson ) first. I agreed to call XXXX while the field crew waited in their truck in front of our home. When I told XXXX of our concerns, he expressed slight displeasure at first and asked me why I wanted to add more panels? I told him that I wanted to make sure that the system would be capable of producing enough electricity to offset our electricity use like we had discussed before. He said he did not have a problem as such personally to entertain such a request ; however, the purchase agreement had to be redone since it would cost us additional {$6000.00} or a total of {$24000.00} to do the entire project now. We faced a real dilemma since we had just signed a purchase agreement with XXXX the day before and they just cut two large holes on our roof to install two impressive looking attic fans indicating they meant business and we did not want to back away from a situation/prospect of not paying for our future electric bills. XXXX asked me to hold the line while he discussed our situation with the owner of XXXX and came back to ask me how much money was I willing to put down as a down payment towards {$24000.00} total cost. I told him that we could come up with {$4800.00} ( 20 % of {$24000.00} ) as down payment since thats how much money we had in our savings at that time. After consulting with the owner, XXXX said that we would qualify for a loan of {$19000.00} under the same terms we discussed the day before provided we could make the down payment first. Without a second thought we wrote them a check for {$4800.00} on the spot and that was our mistake number 2 since we were so nave and did not realize what kind of mess we were getting ourselves into. We did not have any chance to do any type of research on the company to find out if any consumer complaint existed against them on line. XXXX told us the previous day that out of hundreds of customers they served, they had only one unresolved case against them with XXXX XXXX XXXX which was affecting their rating with XXXX and we believed every word he told us and were fully trusting of him. Within a week after we wrote our check, on XX/XX/XXXX another XXXX representative a young woman named XXXX XXXX showed up at our door with a revised purchase agreement ( see attached ) for us to sign. She told us that our loan has been approved and they were going to install the 18- solar panels with one inverter system as soon as the rest of the paperwork was finalized. Again we signed the purchase agreement without knowing the difference between a 3.48 kW system and a 5.22 kW system ; no one from XXXX would ever explain to us their significance either. All we knew and believed from our conversation with various XXXX personnel at that point was that the 5.22 kW system would be fully engineered and designed to meet our needs of offsetting our electric bills. About one week after that, XXXX called to schedule a time for the installation of the panels. The same field crew came back on XX/XX/XXXX to install the panels on our roof and an inverter was placed inside our garage. They told us that they had done all the necessary electrical wiring ; however, we had to wait for the XXXX people to install a Net meter switch and the City of XXXX to come and inspect the installation before our system can be turned on and then we should start seeing the results ( reduction in our electric bills ). They showed us the switch which would turn the solar system on and assured us that they were one phone call away and would be back if we needed any help. Then they left, and we never heard back from them again. We were hoping they would call us to find out if the system was working or not or if we are still satisfied with their work or not. On XX/XX/XXXX, the City of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) conducted an inspection and did not report of finding anything unusual ; although the Net Meter had not been installed by XXXX and the solar system was not operational at that time. We had to wait until end of XXXX when XXXX installed the XXXX XXXX and gave us the okay to turn the system on. When we turned the system switch on as was instructed by XXXX personnel, we noticed green, blue and red lights flashing across the inverter panel which turned into a steady glow of red light and an Error Message came across the inverter display panel. The message did not make any sense to us but we knew something was not right, turned the system off and called XXXX main number. There was no one to take our call but we left several messages. Not hearing anything back from XXXX, we called several times the next day and was finally able to talk to a person ( XXXX ) and told her what had transpired. She assured that she would request one of their service technicians to come and rectify the problem. We waited for another week and since no one came, we called her again ; this time she apologized and said that all of their service technicians were extremely busy but she could find out immediately when someone would be available and put me on a hold for a few minutes, then came back on line to say the technician would come for sure next Friday on the way back from working on another project in our area. However, no one came the following Friday and this became a pattern. I felt frustrated and personally harassed by XXXX personnel. I tried calling XXXX direct number but no one answered and finally I got a message that the number I had on my possession of XXXX the salesperson was no longer in service and no further information was available about this number. We had become quite worried by then but finally on XX/XX/XXXX, one of their technicians showed up to investigate our situation and after spending some time at our home, wrote a report that said the inverter was turning on for a few minutes and then turning itself off ( see attachment ). He left without rectifying the problem or giving any reason the system was behaving in this rather odd way. He said he would report the problem to his company and would ask to send someone more knowledgeable. When I asked him about the two men ( XXXX and XXXX ) who installed our system, he said he was not sure but one of them ( XXXX ) might have left the company but the other person ( XXXX ) was still working. Next time I called XXXX I asked for XXXX by name and asked them to please send him our way since no one else seemed to resolve this issue. XXXX came to our home around middle of XXXX ( dont remember the exact date ). However, he said that the wiring was not done properly by XXXX when they were first installed and now that he had changed the wiring to the right order, the system should be working all right. He also mentioned that if we wanted to install a monitoring device to determine the energy output by the solar panels and an emergency power outlet by the inverter, we should contact him or his company which gave me the impression that he was trying to sell us some additional features that were not included when they installed our system. After XXXX left, the inverter continued to display green light during the day and there was no error message. We started to get hopeful thinking XXXX may finally have figured out a solution to the problem. However, hopefulness did not last very long and within a month after XXXX left, the inverter switched back to the red signal mode and started to display the same error message again- increasing our frustration and anxiety. We felt we were totally at XXXX mercy since their system was unable to produce electricity as promised from day one and no one seem to be able to fix the problem for any length of time. Every time we were calling their office we were getting the run around from their service department and their service technicians were blaming one another for erroneous work, we did not see much of a reduction in our electric bills plus we had to start paying XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX towards the loan we took from them. The whole thing started to cause us quite a lot of anxiety and worries. At this point ( XXXX of XXXX ) we decided to call XXXX to find out if they could shed any light as to why our 5.22 kW system which was supposed to produce enough electricity to totally offset our electricity consumption from XXXX grid was only producing a small fraction ( 22 % ) of our overall electricity consumption on a good month when the system was working without error message. XXXX representative told us that we needed at least a 9.0 kW system to offset our electricity consumption based on our consumption history- a 5.22 kW system was simply too small for that purpose. That was the first time we realized that a fraudulent business has deceived us. To verify if XXXX assertion was correct or not, we contacted three independent solar contractors. After reviewing our past electric bills, they all confirmed that we needed a 9.0 kW, or a bigger solar system installed if we wanted to offset our electric bills. We were shocked but still wanted to find out if XXXX would do something to remedy the situation. Around middle of XXXX, XXXX we heard from the owner ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) of XXXX. XXXX XXXX said he was away on a medical leave and did not know much about our situation. However, he was taking over our case from this point forward and would try to help us any way he could. XXXX XXXX asked us to send him our last 5 months of electric bills from XXXX which we did right away and requested him to let us know what remedial actions his company would be willing to take to rectify the problem, but we did not hear back from him. On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX returned to our home for the first time since he and XXXX installed our system back in XX/XX/XXXX. After he inspected the system, he told us he needed to come back later that week to rectify the wiring problems at the panels once again and offered to put a monitoring device. By this time, we had lost all our trust in XXXX and their verbal assurances. XXXX did not return by the end of that week ( XX/XX/XXXX ) as he verbally promised. We then sent XXXX a letter requesting them to remove the solar panels and the inverter from our home and terminate our Contract. Points, Counterpoints : By now it was becoming clear to us that XXXX likes to make fictitious promises to innocent consumers to sell their products and then pin them down with fake ( with XXXX XXXX logo ) purchase agreements that is not clear to ordinary folks, perhaps only a seasoned attorney could understand their pitfall. They engage services of registered engineers to produce fictitious design documents to pull permits very fast. They quickly install the system on site and then move on to deceive their next customer. Servicing their customers is not a priority item for them and then every opportunity they can get or create, they try to sell more of their products and services. Realizing the difficult situation, we were under, we started to bring our complaints to various agencies such as XXXX XXXX XXXX, Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, XXXX County Department of Consumer and Veterans Services, Federal Trade Commission and Florida State Attorneys office. All these agencies except for Federal Trade Commission have assigned investigators and case numbers to handle/monitor our case. We were told by several agencies that there were other cases open and/or pending against XXXX in Florida, like ours. However, no one except XXXX County Department of Consumer and Veterans Services has provided any assistance to us so far. We have had several email and letter exchanges, phone calls between XXXX XXXX and myself since XXXX became aware of our complaints to various agencies. XXXX XXXX would prefer that we honor their purchase agreement and keep paying bills from XXXX XXXX XXXX, in exchange he agreed to send their technicians to fix the existing problems with their solar system and place a new monitoring system at no additional cost. My wife and I on the other hand think that our relationship has soured to a point that its not possible for us to work with XXXX anymore. They violated our trust in them beyond repair and we would like to terminate our agreement. To that effect, we have proposed to pay them additional sum of money if they would remove the panels and inverter from our home, please see our letter dated XX/XX/XXXX to XXXX. Since receiving our letter of XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX exchanged emails with XXXX XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX of XXXX County Consumer and Veterans Services, please see attached email chains between these two parties. In the beginning, XXXX XXXX indicated that he would be willing to remove the panels but later he changed his mind and now he is refusing to remove the panels and take me to court. My wife and I are both retired and can not afford to pay our regular electric bills from XXXX while keep paying XXXX XXXX XXXX for their loan. We would like XXXX to remove the panels as they once agreed to do and terminate the agreement. We have already spent a quite a lot of money ( {$5000.00} ) and countless hours of our time on this project without seeing any financial benefit. We do not wish to add lawyers fee into this pursuit. We stand ready to answer any question and welcome any help/ mediation effort from any taxpayer funded agency that is willing to help.

On XX/XX/2022 I had a Furnace installed in my grandmothers home by XXXX XXXX XXXX who referred me to Service Finance Company , LLC for financing. One loan that was rewritten 3 times, now that Ive experienced this ordeal and read the enormous number of complaints on the XXXX XXXX XXXX website, I need a written statement from Service Finance Company, validating and set up automatic monthly payments only to discover XX/XX/2022 payments werent being withdrawn. Since, Ive attempted to make payments to Service Finance Company , LLC and they have repeatedly rescinded payments. Claiming I gave them the incorrect bank account number, incorrect routing number, bank rejected payment, system issues, phone issues, incorrect bank account type ( s ) entered by clerk ( s ), and on and on and on. Ive literally attempted to pay Service Finance Company , LLC from different bank accounts in every possible way imaginable, other than by mail. I set up auto pay with the assistance of a manager, made payments over the phone with customer service clerks and managers with the same outcome NO PAYMENT, returned by bank. Service Finance Company , LLC failed to process my payments over and over resulting in default and derogatory credit reporting. Finally, Ive had enough of attempting to make installment payments, and decided to pay the entire balance iao {$3100.00} on XX/XX/2022. I paid again but the balance increased to XXXX, I asked why the increase on an interest free loan and I was advised after the first late payment the loan began to accrue daily interest. I was also told I needed to have present a physical copy of a paper check in order to provide the correct routing and checking information, insinuating Im to blame for not providing the correct banking information. On XX/XX/2022 I called Service Finance Company , LLC. again pleading to take full payment, and again they claim ACH transaction ( s ) was returned by my financial institution ( s ) reflecting incorrect banking account information or insufficient funds. I called each bank in question and they said there are no record ( s ) of Service Finance Company , LLC ever submitting any form of payment to my any of my bank account ( s ) ever. So I called the contractor XXXX XXXX, XXXX. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, TX XXXX who installed the furnace and spoke to XXXX, who referred me to Service Finance Company , LLC, I explained this entire ordeal and he said he would give them a call on my behalf, XXXX called back and said he didnt get anywhere with them and suggested I call him back if this continues. I called Service Finance Company , LLC back to resolve this issue and threatened to file a complaint with Consumer Finance Protection Bureau and other government agencies, ironically payment posted XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/2022, but the balance was {$3100.00}. Theoretical the account still is not paid in full, XXXX balance remaining. On XX/XX/2022 at XXXX am I called Service Finance Company , LLC requested a balance, XXXX transferred me to the billing department, I was placed on hold for an extended period of time before XXXX XXXX advised the loan was paid off in full and I will receive a paid in full letter within 10 days. However, XXXX could not explain why Service Finance Company , LLC withdrew XXXX instead of the entire balance iao {$3100.00} from my account. XXXX said he would send an email assuring me XXXX was the correct pay off amount, and not {$3100.00} as previously noted that I authorized them to withdraw. On XX/XX/2022 I called Service Finance at XXXX pm, New Account Servicer Representative. On XX/XX/2022 XXXX in the New Account Dept provided me with my loan number XXXX and said the account was still active and open but she could not discuss the loan and had to transfer me to billing, XXXX answered the call and said the account was closed and paid in full in the amount of XXXX, and they made the proper adjustments which offset the XXXX, conflicting information one rep says its an active account with a balance and the other XXXX said the account is closed. I dont trust this company, and believe the XXXX XXXX was intentionally not withdrawn to accrue interest over years. I will continue to seek closure here. The contract was rewritten three times, {$3100.00} Account XXXX, $ XXXX Account {>= $1,000,000}, XXXX -Account {>= $1,000,000}, after all Ive been through, researched and read about this company on the XXXX XXXX XXXX website I have absolutely no trust in this company. With that being said I have requested a paid off/ paid in full letter and have not receive it. Theres definitely an agenda here and I will be proactive in rectifying this. Im even more concerned for other consumer ( s ) like the elderly and those incapable of resolving issues like this themselves. This is sad beyond measures and I cant imagine words suitable to describe this. Since I have filed formal complaints with the Federal Trade Commission, XXXX XXXX XXXX Federal Bureau of Investigation, New York City Consumer Affairs, Consumer Protection Financial Bureau of Investigation and I will continue to file more. My personal info was first Breached by XXXX in XXXX early XXXX of XXXX, few account wasn't my showed and few false collection accounts dropped my XXXX score to XXXX score, I reached out hundreds of time try to get help, XXXX customer service just keep prolong the issue, telling me a settlement department will soon take over, even emailed as well letter to me state they breached my identity and personal info, said team of support will shortly contact me, i waited 4 1/2 years, I disputed over 15 wrong accounts as well false reporting and each time they remove the wrong fraud account refuse to recover my credit score they took, due to the credit hit and XXXX ruined my credit, I had to force filed Chapter XXXX to save what I had left also it help blocked those fraud negative account on my report, I lost my XXXX Lease, couldn't finance it after I made 49 payment on a 48 month tier 1 lease, I had to borrow from payday loan for emergency 5 & 6 of them for XXXX or XXXX and eye glasses for my family, I put XXXX kids to college and still have XXXX XXXX XXXX as well my wife XXXX XXXX ruined my credit, they only take first, and once dispute put in place than removed, but I ask them to recover the positive score they stole and they just won't do it, and XXXX notify me they again breach my info in XXXX still got no support from them, I requested info on the breach and what to do next, I never received any documents or a simple phone call from XXXX, why did I have to pay for other people mistake? Where is my justice? I have house hold of XXXX it support, I lost and sold anything I can to support my family livelihood and roof over our head, what does it take for someone to help me? Where is my right? And after I was forced to file Chapter XXXX, I paid nearly all my loan off in 2 months time, few got away from me, and the Chapter XXXX was used to pay those few account and primary to block the Fraud negative accounts, there is also a Company name Service Finance LLC, they was in my Chapter XXXX, while in Chapter XXXX, they said if I don't pay them, they will go after my Brother in law he cosigned, this was a {$3900.00} installement loan, for fixing the roof, not a Mortgage, so they take monthly payment from my bank since day 1 and I never miss any payment, but I have prof this company get payment from BK Trustee and my regular monthly payment on time by their statement, how this company intention fraud reporting I'm Deceased for last 2 years and report every month to 3 bureaus as a collection and late payment while in Chapter XXXX, I have document to prove it my credit report and bank statement, they fraudulently report Deceased so they can go after my brother in law while the installement loan is paid, by submitting me deceased and report as collection account while in chapter XXXX because once is discharged like now, they plan to go after my brother in law, because my report showed 0 payment, and this company report this installment loan under Mortgage loan, I disputed with XXXX and XXXX as well XXXX, nothing was done, im trying to buy a house finally after what XXXX did to me, I have great report but low score due to never got my score that was taking from me each dispute, now because Service Finance LLC reported as a Mortgage and collection, as well in chapter XXXX, so my mortgage score is low XXXX, that is fraud, this company did all that to try collect 3 times, I called this company over and over, they said they will remove the Deceased and update closed account, but refuse to remove the account away from Mortgage account because its not, they also said they do not care for bankruptcy, and they can report anything they want and there is no law to protect consumer right while in protection of Bankruptcy, they said they can report and if got no protection and my attorney, Trustee, the Federal court is wrong, they are right so I need help, thus company is family owned, they are from XXXX region, and they careless about the United State Federal Law, and I told them about why people file Chapter XXXX and why Trustee pays those account for the people, so that is protecting American people from exactly from people or family business like them that they think they are above the law, just this 8 days ago that company did change the deceased and XXXX balance with pay as agreed but it still in Mortgage side with chapter XXXX, so after all those years fighting this company, its hurting my chance to finance a home finally what I live through, my family live through still cant get any help on those credit bureaus and company that do what they like because my name is not XXXX XXXX but XXXX XXXX, please prove me wrong and save my family from fraud that's committed upon me. Complainant XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX EMAIL : XXXX XX/XX/2022 Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Consumer Complaint Division po box 27170 Washington, DC 20038 Dear Concerned Agent ( s ) : Re : Service Financial, LLC And Account Number : XXXX It would seem that Service Financial, LLC has decided to continue their poor behaviors, after making an e-payment on XX/XX/2022, in which I authorized a XXXX, even though I was paying ahead of my required payment schedule. On XX/XX/2022, the above company attempted to deprive me of my Fifth Amendment ( taking monies not due at that time and without my consent ). They, also, apparently attempted to defame me with me bank ; XXXX XXXX ( Address : XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AL XXXX, XXXX. Phone Number : XXXX XXXX ), via an attempt to gain an early account payoff ( Service Financial ACCOUNT # : XXXX, via a full pay-off attempt via wire transfer ( as I understand them ). I have not been remiss in timely payments, as XXXXXXXX XXXX records will confirm, per the Service Financial, LLC contract ( No Acceleration Clause, Defeasance Clause, nor Due-On-Sale Clause included that I could find ), so the reason, other than shifty, predatory, and possible criminal behavior eludes my understanding for their actions that reminds one of the Dodd-Frank Laws. XXXX pended, posted, and then rescinded the payment. Because of this action by Service Financial, LLC, I suffered undue stress and worry ( I am a XXXX year old XXXX XXXX with the XXXX ), because I have had other outstanding payments drawn against that account, as well as incurred a `` non-sufficient funds '' fee ( likely to stay on my transactions ledger ), thus defaming my reputation ( s ), depending upon just who sees the reports and how they read them. I went to their payment website ( https : //myloan.svcfin.com/Dashboard ) and was able to generate copies ( Print Screen as well as Letter showing completion ) of loan, on XX/XX/2022. I maintain copies to support my statements and intend to pursue these matters further. I, also, checked my XXXX Report on XX/XX/2022, where they no longer showed the loan, as active, either as a misreported home loan or a personal loan. Again, I have Print Screen proof. This morning, when I checked my email, I had an XXXX Notification of my dispute being dealt with and another stating there was a dispute that was closed. I checked and found that XXXX states that Service Financial, LLC has stated that my account was CLOSED, In Good Standing. Again, I have Print Screen proof. Just now, after noon, I went to verify that what Service Financial, LLC purportedly told XXXX was confirmable, via my Service Financial, LLC Account online. The questionable company has been involved in less than stellar action concerning my Account, before. I would point out the XXXX XXXX Complaint : XXXX, Ref # XXXX, concerning this business questionable antics. I have previously, in good faith, tried to deal in a fashion, attempting to be more than fair. My overtures have been of little avail, as one should be able to see. Hello CFPB, I am writing this letter to you today to explain my deep level of frustration regarding a terrible situation my client has found himself in. XXXX XXXX is a distinguished Veteran of the XXXX XXXX who now works for XXXX. XXXX, as he is known, went through a ravaging divorce and found himself in a situation where he ex-wife was living in the property and he was forced to reside elsewhere. XXXX tried to maintain the house and all of his obligation but simply could not because prior to the divorce he had two incomes to pay for one household and now he has one income to pay for two households. Given the financial restraints, he was forced to sell the residence. XXXX XXXX XXXX services a loan taken out to replace the HVAC system in the house prior to the divorce. The 1st lien holder is a VA loan and the VA simply will not allow more than {$1500.00} to go to any junior lien holders to release their lien in a short sale situation. Today I spoke with a XXXX XXXX XXXX on a recorded conversation ( I am happy to supply the .wav file of the conversations as I record all of my conversations ) where it was stated that the Realtors needed to get together to figure out how we were going to get more money for your lien position. In addition, it was pointed out on multiple conversations both with XXXX and the manager, XXXX, the commissions were somehow subject to collection efforts of a debt obtained by our client years prior to us listing the house for sale. First of all, the commissions being charged for our professional services are customary and standard and actually approved by the VA. Second, even if the commissions were lowered to pay for our client 's debt, the additional money would go towards the 1st lien because they simply will not allow any more than {$1500.00} to go to junior lien holders. I found the tone from your company 's representative very offensive towards myself, especially when I mentioned that it was a recorded conversation. My attorney has assured me that I do not need permission to record phone conversations as long as one party to the conversation knows that it is being recorded. I was told multiple times that {$1500.00} was not enough to settle the debt, which I am not asking for. I am asking that a simple lien release be done. There is a foreclosure sale date set for X/XX/2017 ( see attached Notice of Trustee 's Sale - already postponed once ) and at that time ALL junior liens will be extinguished without payment to any of them. I fail to understand how accepting {$1500.00} to release a lien compromises your company or your client 's ability to collect on the debt? If the refusal thereof is a form of punishment, then that is wholly another topic worthy of an investigation by the Florida Division of Consumer Finance. In fact, as the recordings seem to suggest, when it was explained to your company that the 1st lien holder ( the VA ) was the one that dictated any amounts given to junior liens that somehow us as Realtors were responsible for contributing to paying off our client 's debt extends beyond the scope of normal debt collecting and is predatory in nature. In what universe does it make sense for a service provider to forfeit a part of their normal income to help satisfy the debt of their client? In fact, were it not for us presenting an offer of {$1500.00} your company would likely recover zero. For it to even be suggested, much less directly stated to me as it was, that we are not helping your company at all by presenting the offer is both offensive and unprofessional. Regardless of the outcome of this situation, I am certain that a formal complaint and investigation into the debt collection practices of XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is both warranted and probably long overdue. Several calls to XXXX XXXX XXXX for windows installation and received a call from XXXX XXXX as the sales rep that was to come to my home. My husband was out for several open appointment times, so I opted in to visit with him alone. The measurements were done and the approval process was implemented over the phone to Service Finance and I was told that I was approved. I tried several times to reach MrXXXX XXXX or anyone in the Home Improvement dept. about the rewards points that I was due to receive that were not showing up in my account for approximately 4-6 months. There were several transfers and messages left, but no one would call me back. I am not sure the salesman was still with XXXX, but I never heard anything else from the salesman from any of the voice messages that I left on his phone. The contract amount had bothered me for some time because of the interest that was due to be paid ( which actually amounts to double the amount financed ). I reached out to XXXX XXXX advisor, and he said that my best bet was to pay more per month. That was a good plan in the beginning because my husband ( even though we were both retired ... 6 years for him and five years for me ), was working another job. Three months after the installation, he had a couple of XXXX and ended up in the hospital ( XX/XX/XXXX ). He went to light duty for a short period of time in XXXX, but was XXXX challenged to do the work as a XXXX He is NOT on the contract. But his income was what I would depend on to do extra amounts. I received documents from the bankruptcy court concerning XXXX XXXX, and reviewed the information that was submitted on the initial application as well as another look at the contract. I returned the documents to the Prime Clerk with a note about the application and what I felt was misrepresented on XX/XX/XXXX ( a year ago ). The payments were paid on time, but without even the regular income that we had ... let alone the {$10000.00} that I was supposed to be getting per month on my own as stated in the application. Also, not having been retired for the 10 years that the application claimed. Yes, I did sign the contract but I did not realize that I had been misled at the time. Being taken advantage of should not be such an easy thing when people have to live later ... getting a commission from a sale shouldn't be ripping a person apart to get it. I missed the XXXX payment and since it's gone past the 31 day time frame, I'm told that a lien will be processed. I am already struggling paying the mortgage, and haven't been able to get the equity done due to the overwhelming amount of credit card debt that has mounted the last couple of years. The credit report ( XXXX ) starts out with Service Finance at {$15000.00} for XXXX, XXXX. ( {$15000.00} was the amount financed ... not sure how you get charged interest BEFORE the initial payment? ) After almost two years, the current amount is {$14000.00} ... and the financing is {$14000.00} for a total sales price of {$30000.00}. What person receiving almost {$11000.00} per month does that kind of financing? Read your contracts because you are being scammed people! No forms of extensions are offered so that was not an option ... not sure how long before we have to move out of our home of 16 years ( only 13 yrs/9 mos when the application was done, but it states 15 ). I realize that this started with XXXX, but I am not paying XXXX ... actually, right now I am not paying anyone for the windows to be to the point. But my point is ... a better approach to accepting and processing applications would have left me with my old windows and a declined application. I mailed a dispute letter to the credit bureaus on XX/XX/XXXX regarding Service Finances inaccuarte payment history reporting. At that time, Service Finance was reporting to XXXX XX/XX/XXXX 30 days/XX/XX/XXXX 60 days, XXXX XX/XX/XXXX 30 days/XX/XX/XXXX 60 days, and XXXX XXXX XXXX 30 days/XX/XX/XXXX 60 days. On XX/XX/XXXX, Service Finance responded to my dispute via XXXX online with no changes, data is accurate. I submitted a comment to their no changes response using XXXX online, stating Service Finance is not reporting payment history accurately to CRAs. XXXX reports XXXX/XXXX late payments, XXXX XXXX/XXXX, XXXX XXXX/XXXX ; inaccuracies which caused additional fees and payments. Within three hours of Service Finance receiving that comment, they changed my credit history from two late payments to a total of five late payments. They update the three major credit bureaus with this payment history : XX/XX/XXXX-30 days, XXXX XXXX-30 days, XXXX XXXX-60 days, XXXX XXXX-90 days, and XX/XX/XXXX-30 days. How can a credit furnisher responsible for reporting accurate payment data go from absolutely no changes, data is accurate, to adding three additional late payments? What official data was suddenly retrieved they did not have access to in their initial investigation, but received only a few short hours after my comment? Where did they get this new data and if they reported and/or received conflicting credit bureau payment history, isnt that considered inaccurate reporting? On XX/XX/XXXX, I mailed a dispute letter with proof of payment, check numbers and dates of withdrawal from my bank account and requested the payment data they received during the three-hour timeframe from no changes in payment data to the drastic changes they made to my credit file ( score went down 11 points instantly ) after my submitted comment. After my request for data, I have not received any data. Service Finance responded to the XX/XX/XXXX dispute letter on XX/XX/XXXX by another display of unfair credit reporting actions and more retaliation. This time, Service Finance removed XXXX XXXX-30 days late, which they just added on XX/XX/XXXX, added a new 30 days late for XX/XX/XXXX ; removed the XX/XX/XXXX 30 days late, which they denied was accurate the first two times they made credit report updates and report XXXX XXXX-30 days late, XX/XX/XXXX-60 days late ; XX/XX/XXXX-90 days late ; and XX/XX/XXXX-30 days late. How can Service Finance be considered credible when within 12 days, they updated my credit file three times with different payment history data? See table below for a more visual display of their credit reporting history. Table attached displays each month they reported my credit history with different data and every month has been reported paid as agreed except XXXX ; all reported payments in the table, apart from XX/XX/XXXX credit report data, occurred within 12 days and 1618 months after the account has been paid/closed. Their responses to my disputes feels a lot like harassment and retaliation. Service Finance Balance History : Service Finances balance history, in a screenshot from XXXX, shows XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX as scheduled payments were paid. This screenshot was taken prior to their dispute updates in XXXX and XXXX. As of their last credit file update, their XX/XX/XXXX payment history can no longer be viewed ; it is no longer an option. Service Financial plays malicious games with consumers credit data and reports inaccurate data intentionally. Meanwhile, consumers of this company have tried or are trying to get approved for apartment leases, employment, and credit card increases and get denied or are required to have a larger down payment to get approved for a roof over their familys head.

When it came time to make the first payment there was quite a bit of arguing with Service Finance Company , LLC, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX FL XXXX as they were trying to charge me 14 % interest. This got settled and I was told and confirmed my payment would the interest free for 60 months at {$250.00} monthly and not {$380.00} monthly. On XX/XX/XXXX, Service Finance Company , LLC, furnished me a copy of a Retail Installment Contract Home Improvement for my account, which I supposedly executed on XX/XX/XXXX. This document had been signed electronically, with my name, but I have never seen this document. There is an electronic signature of XXXX XXXX, electronically signed the document on XX/XX/XXXX, I never met or saw this individual. The only execution of documents was done via live signature with XXXX XXXX, in my house. I am trying to refinance my home, but can not because Service Finance Company , LLC, is saying I have a HELOC, considered a cash out transaction, from the financing of the air conditioning units. I was never given any documentation that reflected this transaction as a HELOC, no right of recission, no required documentation outlining the complete transaction, and absolutely nothing. I received a letter of notification dated XX/XX/XXXX, that on XX/XX/XXXX, Service Finance Company , LLC, XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX filed a XXXX Financing Statement to perfect the security interest that I supposedly granted when I purchased the new air conditioning units. I never, ever executed or saw any documentation to this effect. On XX/XX/XXXX, Service Finance Company , LLC sent me a copy of a Retail Installment Contract Home Improvement Truth-In-Lending Disclosure which has an electronic signature affixed to it, but it was not done by me. The Service Finance Company , LLC can not provide me evidence of me executing the document. The only document that I ever execute was face to face, with my live signature in my dining room with representative XXXX XXXX XXXX. If this had been disclosed properly, I would have rescinded this transaction, but I was never furnished A Right of Recission, or legal documentation to support this debt would be attached to my XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX. Now this has clouded my title of my home. I want the debt to be forgiven 100 %, a recorded release of lien be sent to XXXX XXXX, and my credit history with Service Finance Company , LLC report be corrected or completely deleted so it does not reflect late payments. This HELOC was fraudulently created and should not reflect I owe any money on this debt. In the latter part of XX/XX/2020, I received a call from a woman who identified herself as being affiliated with XXXX XXXX XXXX. The purpose of this call was to inform me of the availability of financing for my solar project for a period of 15 years with an interest rate of XXXX %. Further, I was to be afforded the option of re-amortizing the loan with the stipulation the amortization must be completed within 18 months of the date of purchase. The proposed arrangement would allow me sufficient time to receive and apply my tax credit with or without additional money being paid towards the existing loan within the specified time frame. I agreed to the terms of financing presented to me. Mr. XXXX salesman for XXXX XXXX XXXX returned to my home a couple of days after the above conversation for the purposes of closing the sale in addition to applying for financing with Service Finance Company , LLC on line. While XXXX XXXX does not finance solar projects directly, they are affiliated with finance organizations that provide long term financing for solar project ( s ). Application for financing is normally completed at the time of sale with the salesman by accessing a finance portal via use of a company laptop. My financing with XXXX XXXX XXXX was predetermined by a representative of XXXX XXXX XXXX. I suspect the online application in my particular case to be a matter of business formality. As the result of XXXX XXXX not providing with documentation for the tax credit, I contacted Service Finance o/a XXXX XX/XX/2020 ( XXXX ) XXXX ) for assistance. As the result of my inquiry I was informed prerequisites to qualify for the loan re-amortization required I make 18 monthly interest payments. Once the interest payments had been made, I was to contact servicing@svcfin.com for further instructions in the processing of additional payment XXXX s ) and re-amortization. These instructions are in conflict with information previously provided by XXXX XXXX. This particular requirement results in interest being paid in the amount of approximately {$3200.00} with nothing being applied towards the outstanding principal. I was not aware of these terms, nor to my knowledge did I agree to these terms and conditions. Upon requesting Service Finance provide me with a copy of these instructions, I was informed the information was NOT in writing. In XX/XX/2019, I had a new roof installed on my home. The cost was $XXXX and the financing was initially secured with Service Finance Company LLC. S.F.C. home base of operations is in Florida, which added to my difficulty in them receiving my payoff checks for some reason, but my inital payment paid on XX/XX/19 check number XXXX for $XXXX was received and posted ok to my account. But, when I tried to pay off the loan balance by phone on XX/XX/19 in the amount of $XXXX via A.C.H. payment the payment was supposedly rejected, with a confirmation # of XXXX. S.F.C. states their representative entered the checking account information correctly, and my checking account information was verified the routing and account number used were correct. They don't know what happened, this checking account is associated with a line of credit with plenty of balance to handle the $XXXX payoff. So after discovering this on XX/XX/19, I mailed a check to their XXXX XXXX XXXX in XXXX, Ohio, per their statement and instructions. This check was in the amount of $XXXX dated and mailed out XX/XX/19 check # XXXX. On XX/XX/19 I discovered that this check according to S.F.C. had not been received in XXXX, I later found this to be untrue, by letter from my Bank dated XXXX stating they had attempted to cash check XXXX but due to the stop payment I placed the payment was rejected. On XX/XX/19 I went to the bank and ordered another check. I then mailed to SFC check number XXXX on XX/XX/19 in the amount of $XXXX per their instructions to compensate for additional interest, approximately $XXXX per day. I paid for a certified mail receipt on XX/XX/19 and I learned that SFC received this payment check #XXXX on XX/XX/19 at XXXX XXXX. but the payment was not processed until Monday XX/XX/19. I shared this tracking information with SFC. SFC corporate address as far as I know is XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Florida XXXX phone XXXX, fax XXXXAfter several phone calls to SFC, and requesting to be refunded $XXXX which is the difference between check number XXXX $XXXX-$XXXX check # XXXX, SFC denied my request and informed me their was a $XXXX balance on my account. They did credit me the $XXXX (approximately, no statement sent to me). After careful consideration, I have decided to ask the CFPB to investigate this transaction. I would like a full refund now that extends back to the balance of my loan on XX/XX/19 which was $XXXX subtract my final payment of $XXXX=$XXXX. However, I would be somewhat content with $XXXX as stated above. I feel that SFC used predatory loan practices in processing my payoff amounts in an obvious attempt to postpone payments as to keep interest accruing on my loan balance, due to the fact that they told me they did not receive check # XXXX $XXXX at their P.O. Box in XXXX, Ohio, when in fact SFC did receive the check someday before XX/XX/19, as I can prove by the letter dated XX/XX/19 sent to me by my bank.

I applied for a loan on XX/XX/XXXX through XXXX XXXX XXXX to have work done on a window and door replacement. The loan was financed through Service Finance Company , LLC. The loan account was opened XX/XX/XXXX, and I immediately authorized a check for the full amount of the loan XXXX {$6800.00} XXXX. It was delivered on XX/XX/XXXX. I was told verbally payment is due XX/XX/XXXX, and that it was not an interest free loan. I was essentially under the impression that if I didn't pay in full by XX/XX/XXXX, I would start to accrue interest. Today, XX/XX/XXXX, I called to make sure the Service Finance Company , LLC received the check. They said that they received the check XX/XX/XXXX, but that I still owe interest on it. I was confused, as I had paid the loan in full before the due date ... so I inquired into exactly WHAT interest. Daily interest accruing during those 7 days, they said. XXXX XXXX. No one had informed me that interest was DAILY, but they said that this was stated in my contract. I was under the impression that interest was MONTHLY. Agitated, I went to pay this interest, totaling {$23.00}, with my debit card. They told me that they don't take cards, we need a check or your bank account. To get your account closed today, you need to give us your bank account and routing number. If you send us a check, you'll be charged more daily interest based on how long the check takes to get to us. But that's interest on the interest, I argued, NOT the loan. I didn't agree to pay interest on my interest, I agreed to pay interest on the LOAN, which was paid in full XX/XX/XXXX. I should NOT have to pay interest on interest. I was informed that that's just how it works. I proceeded to ask, " So the only way I can get this account closed TODAY is to give my bank account info? ". I was told yes. This seems like a giant red flag, since what legitimate company will not take debit cards for payment? According to the XXXX XXXX website, this company has had plenty of interest related complaints as well, besides mine. I proceed to pay them over the phone. I ask the representative to confirm 3x over the recording to say that I DON'T OWE ANY MORE FROM THIS MOMENT ON AND THE ACCOUNT IS CLOSED. My complaint is regarding shady practices. Firstly, not being upfront about daily vs monthly interest ( burying it in the written contract & not in layman 's terms/easy to understand " it's daily interest '' ) ... secondly, charging interest on interest ... .and thirdly, only taking bank account numbers+routing numbers or checks as payment. In response to complaint ID XXXX What is the next step? I refuse to pay for a product that I did not receive. I have a signed contract and renderings from XXXX XXXX of what we agreed on. Nothing was done correctly. Not the floor coverings, not the walls, not the paint, not the room sizes, not the ceiling heights, not the fixtures, not the missing shower bench, not the missing show niches - NOTHING. I find it very self-serving that Service Financial can not provide a recording of an alleged voicemail for a {$15000.00} loan agreement while I am able to archive and review the hundreds of voice mails, text messages and emails between XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. XXXX XXXX employment was terminated after this project and we believe that it was due to the fraud he committed with this project. It is now clear to me that not even the owner, XXXX XXXX, was aware of the promises that his employee made in writing to me. In that email XXXX XXXX admits that he does not have a copy of the contract that he signed off on to Service Financial. First payments of XXXX and XXXX were paid on XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to start the project. The final payment from Service Financial was not to be paid until the project was completed per my contract with XXXX. The project was never finished. Somehow XXXX XXXX convinced Service Financial to release the funds early and without my knowledge. Service Financial released the funds without even talking to me. I was not aware that XXXX received the money until I got a bill in the mail. When I brought the fact that I got a bill from Service Financial in the mail to the contractor, I was told that I had to pay the bill or XXXX would stop working on the project. I was XXXX and looking at a construction mess in my home with a contractor telling me that he would walk away with my down payment if I stopped paying Service Financial. XXXX XXXX kept insisting to just wait until the finished product. Every time I would bring up a problem he would threaten to quit and told us to wait until he was finished. I waited 8 months for them to finish a contracted 6 week project. They never completed it. The builder owes us money because the project was not done on time and not completed to specification. By releasing the funds before the project was completed, Service Financial left me with no leverage to get the job done correctly. The contractor took the money and gave up. Again, I ask Service Financial - What is the next step?

Since XX/XX/2022 Ive made timely payments to Services Financial XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, # XXXX XXXX XXXX, FL XXXX for the financing of a Hot Water Heater / Furnace installed by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, TX XXXX. Every single payment has rescinded, over and over again, claiming incorrect bank account number, incorrect routing number, bank rejected payment, system issues, phone payment system issues, incorrect bank account type ( s ) or system issues, no payments processing at the time due to faulty phone payment system. Ive paid them from four different bank accounts, set up auto pay, made payments with two managers on two separate occasions with the same outcome. For some ironic reason the same outcome no payments withdrawn but I get confirmation numbers. Payments rescinded over and over resulting in default and eventually property liens etc. They are reporting derogatory information ruining my credit rating and questioning my credibility to properly input or provide banking information .Finally, Ive had enough, I paid the entire balance XXXX {$3100.00} on XX/XX/2022, On XX/XX/2022 I received a call from collections Service Finance Company , LLC XXXX XXXX advising my account was over 77 days delinquent and I needed to make another payment, I was livid ask to speak with a manager who advised the clerks had been entering the incorrect bank type ( s ) and this is why payments were rejected resulting in negative credit reporting. He also said I needed a physical copy of the paper check in order to provide the correct routing and checking information, insinuating I provided the incorrect information on all eight payment attempts. This is not a trust worthy company, I do not recommend them to anyone, On XXXX XX/XX/2022 I paid again but this time the balance increased to XXXX, I asked why the increase on an interest free loan and I was advised after the first late payment that they incorrectly processed I began to accrue daily interest. I made a payment iao {$3100.00} on XX/XX/2022 and Im almost for certain this issue will repeat itself therefore Im submitting this complaint with a plea for help, I just want to pay this debt off. On XX/XX/XXXX I got a personal loan with Service Finance Company LLC for Solar Equipment. On XX/XX/XXXX I requested a Forbearance due to Covid-19 and was approved for 120 days starting XX/XX/XXXX and ended XX/XX/XXXX. During the Deferral Period : 1. Late Notices will be disabled. 2. Late Fees will be disabled. 3. SFC will report your Account to the credit reporting agencies with Special Comment Code AW, indicating that you have been affected by a natural disaster. 4. Payments will be suspended and added to the term of the Loan. 5. If your Loan is a Promotional Loan, the remaining term of your Promotional Period will apply to your Loan once the 120 -day period expires. 6. Billing Statements will be suspended. 7. Interest will continue to accrue during the 120-day period. 8. Billing Statements will resume for the billing cycle following the expiration of the 120 -day period. 9. Other than these modifications, the terms and conditions of your Loan remain in full force and effect. I was still getting notices from this company, and I would call them and there reply it was computer generated and do not worry about it, you are still under a Forbearance. I got contacted in XX/XX/XXXX to see if I were able to start making payments or did, I need another Extension for Covid-19 I said yes, I would like another Extension. As with other company there was no problems with the extension until the credit Bureau were reporting me late the hole time I was on Forbearance, then I find out that Service Finance company charged off my account in XX/XX/XXXX, my first Forbearance would have ended on XX/XX/XXXX. So, my account was closed 30 days after my first forbearance, when I thought I had an extension with a second forbearance. I call Service Finance Company in XX/XX/XXXX and found this all out, I was shocked that this happen and try to fix the problem they had me catch on all payments up to XX/XX/XXXX and I have been making payments ever since. They are still reporting me late and adding late fees. They stop reporting since XX/XX/XXXX, but damages have been done to my credit. I have about 6 different credit accounts with are all in good standings, this account thru Service Finance Company has put my credit in bad ratings with late payments and a charge off while I was on a Forbearance.

I worked with a company to install a patio on my home at the time and the builder secured the financing for me. After, the work was completed a representative from the builder had me sign paper work verifying it was complete and contract for the financing. The paper work was very general to a normal installment loan. This was XX/XX/XXXX. I sold the home in XX/XX/XXXX paid the loan off in XX/XX/XXXX. There wasn't a lien on the property at the time the home was sold. I'm currently trying to close on a new home purchase with FHA financing and have learned that this account has been reporting a mortgage type account. The financing paper work doesn't say anything as a mortgage type account. This was never explained to me at any time by the financing company. This was also completely new to the builder as well. I didn't receive any disclosures stating this was a mortgage type account. The loan on the paper work shows a Home Improvement Installment loan. I was under impression that this loan was just a traditional installment loan that was secured by the materials used to build the patio. Again, for years there wasn't a lien on my property. Because of the way this loan is reporting to the credit bureau my mortgage lender can't get approval for me loan. I literally ready to close and this has delayed the process. Everything including the appraisal and title work has been completed. I have contacted both the creditor and filed disputes with the credit bureaus. I haven't had any success with getting the account to changed to something other than a mortgage type account. The financing company has provided a letter to state that it's not a mortgage account, but has not changed it with the credit bureaus. The lender needs it changed with the credit bureaus. The financing company is blaming it on the tri-merger report, but it clearly shows as a mortgage account directly with the credit bureaus. The financing company is stating that they're reporting correctly, but this it's the case and that's why they gave the letter. The company mentioned the Fair Credit Reporting Act, but failed to explain everything to me as the consumer. I think the financing company failed to inform me and the builder at to how this financing is setup. Thank you

A contract was written on XXXX XXXX, 2017, for various services to be performed by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( State Lic. # XXXX ). Included were Photovoltaic Panels, solar water heater and panel, solar attic fan, insulation, a variable speed pool pump, and 1-time roof remove replace. Also mentioned, was that the inverter would have a wifi monitoring system, and routine maintenance. " We would know if there was a problem with your panels before you did. '' is what we were told by the sales representative. We never received a wifi monitoring system, and the company does not monitor the panels like we were informed. We attempted to contact XXXX about the 1-time roof remove replace, after hurricane Irma had us file a claim with our homeowner 's insurance. We did not receive a response until we filed a formal complain with the financing companies. XXXX is now under the impression that we were requesting the solar panels to be removed, while we get our roof replaced, to which they denied. They stated that the notation on the contract was only for the solar water heater panel to be removed and replaced. XXXX offered to replace my roof at a " good price '' to which they would remove the panels and replace them, but I pointed out the 1-time roof remove replace was already included in the contract. I informed XXXX that I was seeking counsel for the contract and they stopped speaking with me, and told the finance companies that they would not speak with me any longer, due to seeking assistance from an attorney. The contract in question was for {$24000.00}, which included ; blown insulation, solar attic fan, 80 gal solar water heater and panel, a variable speed pool pump, and 1-time roof remove replace. I 've made several attempts to resolve directly with XXXX Contracting. I filed a formal dispute with the finance company ( Service Finance ), regarding the contract not being fulfilled. It seems like XXXX is confused or misinformed of what the contract includes, and what the dispute is regarding. I am disputing the installed inverter not having a wifi monitoring system ( which the inverter is fully capable of ), and the removal and replacement of the roof on my home, as noted on the contract.

On XX/XX/2019 TWO Service Finance Payments were taken out of my XXXX XXXX Checking account ; only one was authorized. Due to their double billing, I was charged {$74.00} by the Bank for an overdraft charge which Service Finance has been unwilling to pay. I called immediately after seeing the double charge and was told by a Service Finance representative that I would receive a REFUND check in the amount of {$230.00}. When I called the following Friday to check the status of sending the check, I was told by the representative that management had changed their mind and decided not to send me a refund check. I had them on speaker phone and had a witness when they said management admitted it was their fault but would not be sending a check. I later heard from a XXXX XXXX that the representative misspoke and said I only have 2 choices and that is to apply it to the principal or they would hold it as a courtesy ( some courtesy I told them for creating multiple problems and giving false promises out which are ORAL Contracts and VALID in the state of North Carolina. ) I told them to HOLD the money and apply next month but that did not release them from owing me {$74.00} for restitution. Several conversations went back and forth and then XXXX said it was a closed issue and he would not discuss it further. I have this in writing. Recently, XXXX asked for additional statements from the bank and overdraft letters as the audit department would not accept any of the screenshots I had produced. I gave them what they asked and he wrote back that he reviewed the documents but still held to the fact they were not going to pay out anything. He is attempting to blame me and said I entered the information of my routing number and checking account number within the 2 minutes apart of the transactions. I have been in XXXX XXXX for 35+ years and know that some incidents are not widespread and can be singled out to a particular account. I feel he is being discriminatory toward senior citizens and attempting to make me say something that is not true. I did not enter the transaction to be paid twice. To whom it may concern : Over the last month or so I have been repairing my credit in order to buy a house next year. Before I started my credit score was in the 500 's. After paying off debt my credit score rose to nearly 700. Almost within days of that happening there were two inquires made two days apart from the same person. The first credit check came from a company named Service Finance Co. LLC. I received the alert from my app XXXX XXXX so I immediately followed up with the company. After speaking with a rep we both came to the conclusion that this person and I had the same first, middle and last names and the first 5 numbers of our social security numbers. The rep advised me to reach out to XXXX who then advised me to reach back out to the company that ran the credit check. After speaking to a supervisor at Service Finance Co. LLC and after that supervisor spoke with his superiors, they informed me there was nothing they can do sense all information was correct except for the address of the person needing the loan and the last four of the social. Another company named XXXX XXXX also made an inquiry for the same person the next day with all of the same information used before. After talking with this rep she informed that they have no locations in the state I live in. However the first company I mentioned has its office in the state I live in, in fact they are only a few hours away. XXXX XXXX said they would get back to me and never did. Both of the companies I am speaking of provide services for home improvements but I do not own a home and never have, I live in an apartment. Both of these companies have left me in the dark about these credit checks and are not being helpful at all and are telling me to talk to XXXX. XXXX can not assist until these companies write a letter to XXXX with my information stating there has been either an error ofrfraud. I would appreciate all the help I can get to have these two items removed from my report. I have taken further action and locked all 3 credit bureaus from providing credit checks until I remove them. When I received my XXXX billing statement from Service Finance Company LLC I contacted their call center and asked for the payoff amount of my account and was told it was XXXX. I paid the full amount of XXXX through my online XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Account. Being that it was such a large amount the payment didnt clear until XX/XX/2020. Then in XXXX I received two statements XXXX was dated XX/XX/2020 and the other was dated XX/XX/2020 with a due date of XX/XX/2020 and a due date of XX/XX/2020 which stated total past due XXXX, total current due XXXX. On the bottom portion of both statements it stated that nothing was due. Both the statements read Principal XXXX and Interest XXXX on the far-right Column it read as follows Principal XXXX and Ending balance current Principal of {$22.00}. So, to air in the side of caution I went online again and paid the {$22.00}. Then a few weeks ago I received a letter from Service Finance stating that my account was paid in full as of XX/XX/2020. Over this past weekend XX/XX/2020 I received a notice from XXXX XXXX that my account is 30 days past due and that I have an outstanding balance of {$20.00}. I contacted the company several times but they insisted that the account was past due by 51 days. I dont understand how this could have happened and I was told by one of their employees that I would be receiving a refund check in the mail for over payment of the account. How could I be late and have a outstanding balance if I am receiving a refund from the company. I told them that I am very disappointed on how this is being handled and not only that when most companies are helping people through hardship in a time with the Covid 19 pandemic Service Finance has destroyed my good credit. My credit sore went down XXXX points I asked politely for some kind of help in this manner with the credit bureau and I was pushed aside and was told that they could not help me in this matter. We were billed twice on the same day for the same month of service last XX/XX/2019. We contacted Service Finance immediately and a representative told us that management was responsible for the error and we would get a check by the end of the week. I called at the end of the week to see if the check had been mailed out and was told that management had now decided not to send a check but they were going to apply it to principal. I told them that was unacceptable as I had a witness while being told over the speaker phone that management told us they were responsible and was their error. Then another representative later told me that in the state of Florida it is not allowed to have a witness overhear a conversation. Now, due to a software called XXXX at XXXX XXXX XXXX, I received a overdraft fee of {$140.00}. I was told I would have received a full refund if I didn't have the previous {$74.00} charge. On XX/XX/2019, XXXX XXXX said they based their decision on the fact XXXX XXXX told as a response to my complaint that If they had been at fault in any way with respect to the erroneous payment, we would have absorbed all fees imposed on Mr. XXXX. Remember I had already been told and had a witness which we are now creating an affadavit and having a Notary sign it with signatures from me and my witness declaring management was going to take full responsibility for the problem and would send us a check back. This erroneous information given to a federal regulating governmental agency has caused me 'damages ' and XXXX XXXX Dispute Resolution said the first action to take is to dispute the second ACH withdrawal that was 'not authorized ' nor entered my me.

This in response to XXXX XXXX and air conditioner response to my complaint. Their response to what happens is not entirely accurate. XXXX did install my air conditioner on a weekend of a holiday. I did contact XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX then I called their standby contact at XXXX and XXXX I then received a call at XXXX. that my air conditioner was not functioning properly. The technician came on XX/XX/XXXX Then 3 months later on XX/XX/XXXX, I had to call and follow up because their finance company was calling me, they must have forgotten about me so I called and left a message and emailed XXXX and he responded by email on Mon XX/XX/XXXX and informed me an inspector will come on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX and that they can not control the finance company and the job was complete and up and running, I did not attempt to argue because it was not running or functioning properly. Thats why their technician had to come back and fix it on XX/XX/XXXX. Also, I responded back with unsatisfied remarks. See email. Then I emailed XXXX again on XX/XX/XXXX, and requested the date ad time the inspector was arriving. Then on XX/XX/XXXX their technician came and fixed the problem with the air conditioner. And Mr. XXXX ask what day would I like to schedule the inspection, then responded and I followed up again on XX/XX/XXXX and finally, XXXX responded that my inspection would be on Wednesday, XX/XX/XXXX at XXXX am I received a call from XXXX attorney requesting I speak to him and his attorney on the phone. I was not going to respond because it was abrupt. I received no letter from XXXX stating they want to come up with a solution. But since the call, I received no other correspondent from XXXX heating and air conditioner. Please see attached email and phone call list showing the dates and times the calls took place. I was getting a roof installed through a company called XXXX XXXX. The sales girl, without my permission, esigned loan documents approving XXXX loans for {$36000.00}. The loan was extremely high interest which I would never have approved since I have excellent credit and would have just went through my local credit union. She told my that she would get me the loan information to sign before I had the roof installed. I never received any loan documents to sign because she signed them for me after she left the house. I had told her that I did not want a high interest loan, and that I would just get financed through my credit union. She wanted the sale so bad, she decided she'd sign the documents for me. I also put {$5000.00} down and they were supposed to knock off an additional {$500.00} as a promotion. Neither the down payment or promotion were ever deleted from the final loans. And I say loans, because not only did she esign documents for XXXX company but for XXXX. Now I am stuck with XXXX payments and a high interest loan, even though I never signed any of the loan documents. The loan documents were signed after she left my house, and they even have the time stamp on them from being signed online. The final payment was supposed to be for less than {$300.00} a month through XXXX loan company at a low interest rate, not through XXXX loan companies at high interest rates. I told both companies that I never signed the documents approving these loans. I have witnesses that were then when she was having us sign stuff and not once did we sign any loan papers. We have tried getting this resolved but Service Finance Company LLC keeps hanging up on me and won't assist me in resolving this matter. The other company has filed a fraud investigation so we are yet to see what will come of that. XXXX XXXX XXXX workers also stole a camera and an antenna that was on my roof. They damaged an expensive swamp cooler and never reimbursed me for any of that.

This is in response to XXXX The documents that you provided do not show what I am requesting. I am requesting a detailed work scope. Our issue is that the contract we have shows materials and room dimensions that were not completed. The contract that XXXX supplied to Service Financial is different from what XXXX provided me with. I never received a voicemail and only called Service Financial once I received the first bill. I was confused as to why I was being sent bills while the contractors were still in my house. It was around this time that XXXX became very hostile and threatened multiple times to quit. Is there a recording of this voicemail that was left on XX/XX/16? What phone number was called? At the end, XXXX was unable to complete the project based on the agreement the I had signed with them. ( Ie room sizes, ceiling heights, custom mirrors, shower bench, shower nooks, toilet placement, lighting fixtures, etc ) There were to be major adjustments at the end with everything they failed to do ( as mentioned on the XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX email ). I expected a substantial refund from XXXX as the contract, building specification, and time deadlines were not followed and they knew we were going to have to hire another company to complete the project to our specifications. I stopped talking to them when they had the audacity to show up at my house, after dark and start demanding money. If XXXX truly believed that I owed them for the sub-par work, they could have easily put a mechanics lien on the property. They know they did not complete the job as promised. They owe me and the homeowner money.

I received a loan for solar panel installation through XXXX, the lenders that I was passed off to by XXXX are XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. While XXXX was doing preparation work to install the solar panels Service Finance started contacting me asking if they could fund the loan, to which I told them that they could not and I expected it to be several months before we were at a place that the loan should be funded. They continued to call me daily and started increasing the call frequency to the point that they were calling me 4-5 times a day, I eventually had to threaten them with a harassment suit to get them to stop calling me. This was effective for about a week and a half until they called me on XX/XX/2018 and told me that the installer told them the panels were on the roof and that is what they deem installed and they would be funding the loan. During this call I told them that the panels were still not installed and that I did not approve of the loan, they told me that they deemed it installed and asked if I had any questions, when I said no they decided that was authorization to fund the loan. We are now 2 months past the phone call on XX/XX/XXXX, Service Finance is telling me that I need to start making payments ( again, on a loan I did not authorize ), the installer still has my exterior wall torn open, the panels are not operational and I'm getting bills from my electric company. The installer told me they would fix the wall this week, on Tuesday I was told that I'd get a call back on when the repair person would be out, I never received a call back and when I tried to contact the installer Friday I was sent to voice mail and not called back. I filed a dispute with the lender, which they denied because apparently not having questions about them funding a loan I did not authorize them to constitutes consent to them and they are threatening me with past due bills and ruining my credit.

Two men came through the neighborhood selling solar panels. Wanting to lower our electricity bills and help the environment we agreed. The contract states 18 payments of {$100.00} and then after that term 240 payments of {$190.00}. The problem I have is that after looking at the not a bill statement they send out all the {$100.00} goes toward interest only. I immediately called Service Finance about all the money going toward just the interest and they said we agreed to this. Not what I recall! I said okay all upfront and then no interest after 18 months and they said no. You will continue to pay interest until the loan is paid off. I assumed it would be lower after the 18 months but no to that too. Yesterday I returned a missed call from them and I mentioned it again. The worker said it is in the contract. I looked at the contract today and it is not. I called Service Finance to ask where it is in the contract that says they will collect interest only for 18 months? The lady couldnt solve my problem and then put me on with a supervisor who said we dont break it down like that in the contract. I consider this fraud since they did not disclose that the first 18 payments would be interest only and they would continue to collect interest thereafter before we signed. We pay our debts. As I said that isnt the problem but we will not be able to pay this off anytime soon with the loan like this. I did try to move the loan but they will not refund the {$1800.00} in interest they have collected and whoever takes over the loan will also collect interest.

It started when the credit was submitted. I received a letter that a charged amount of {$10000.00} had been placed and please cal to confirm work was done. This financing was through a home repair company XXXX XXXX. I called to informed them that my contract for work was for {$10000.00}. They told me that I would have to deal with XXXX XXXX directly they could not help me. All point gave me a {$100.00} gift card that was promised to me 3 times in the duration of the work. XXXX XXXX sent a statement monthly without indicating past payments, interest, or reflecting any activity on the account. I called them, and they said that they didn't have to provide that information I should keep track of my own records. After paying above minimum payments for month, and noticing higher interest than I expected I decided to pay this loan a different way. I took the statement to my credit union and used a person loan from there to pay in full. The statement shows a balance of {$9000.00}, that is what my bank sent. Now I receive yet another statement that I still owe {$110.00}. I don't understand this billing process, and feel they hide information that is supposed to be provided to borrows. When you call they are very rude, can not explain to you activity or finance fees. According to their statements I paid about {$500.00} interest on this loan over a 5 month period on a loan with 6.99 % interest. I do not understand this math. I will never borrow from them again. I hope that someone looks into this and holds this company accountable.

In XX/XX/2020, XXXX XXXX secured a finance loan on our behalf for windows and doors for {$13000.00}. The windows and doors were installed in XX/XX/2020. The finance company called to verify the installation went well and if they can began billing us. We told them no. That there were numerous issues and that all the windows and door needed to be taken out and replaced ( XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ). Service Finance company agreed and said they will continue to follow up. They did not bill us. They call every couple of weeks to ask. We told them the situation. We also asked them if they could follow up with XXXX XXXX. Time goes on and our windows and door are still not done. In XXXX, we received a letter from the finance company telling us that our 1st payment was due in XXXX. We called them and asked them how they can bill for a service that has not been completed? The representative told us that this has been going on over a 6 months and they paid XXXX XXXX so we need to pay them. She also said that since XXXX XXXX had installed the windows than it was our responsibility to pay even if it is not complete. I asked her why then have they not charged for the last six months when they repeatedly called and we told them the work was not done? She said all she can do is open the complaint but we need to pay the bill as they will mark it against our credit. So now we are stuck paying a monthly bill of {$170.00} for a service that has not been complete. We have not receive any communication regarding the complaint from the Finance Company.

This is a stand-alone complaint, not directly connected to a previous complaint, as this concerns the company in question claiming to be a XXXX DEBT COLLECTOR XXXX, while not being licensed as such, per the State of Florida, Office of Financial Regulation . On XX/XX/2022, I received a letter, dated XX/XX/2022, where the afore-mentioned Service Financial Company , LLC indicates that they are a properly and duly licensed Consumer / Business Debt Collector . I have retained proof to attach. I just ( XXXX around noontime ) did a search for such and all licensing of Service Financial Company, LLC : NONE found via the online search, not even for any license, as best I could search. Because of this lack of proper licensing, I feel and believe that I, an elderly XXXX Veteran, have been the attempted victim of unscrupulous and questionable actions and behaviors from this supposed FHA TITLE I lender. I am not sure whether their letter is a threat, but it sure does feel like such, as I never authorized any XXXX submitted payment that would have been rejected due to Insufficient Funds XXXX, as that letter indicates. At worst, I feel that by their submitting such a request for my account payoff that the company has tried to impersonate me, which I believe is against the Florida Statutes, Title XLVI, Chapter 817, in many ways or points and using such to attempt to XXXX force XXXX ( as described by many legal sites ) me in such fashion appears to be a concerted effort, not unlike XXXX organized crime XXXX, by the very definition.

In XXXX XXXX , my wife and I contracted to have an XXXX XXXX solar system ( XXXX solar panels and inverters ) installed on our home through XXXX ( dba XXXX XXXX , XXXX ). We have an invoice showing that we paid in full for the system, which I will attach. A few months ago, we began receiving statements from a company named Service Finance Company , LLC. They did not identify themselves as a debt collector nor relate the amount on their statement to the system we had installed. I thought it was just one of those mail phishing schemes where you send one payment and you 've suddenly signed up for a loan. I was throwing them away. Last week, we began receiving emails from a XXXX XXXX stating that we owed {$7100.00}. We requested they send a contract showing that we owed that amount. XXXX XXXX sen t one of th e statements we had been receiving in the mail ( also attached ). W e wrote back requesting to see a XXXX contract. What we received today was an ALTERED version of our original contract with XXXX ( also attached ). It appears that XXXX is no longer in business. Nor can we reach anyone at XXXX XXXX , XXXX ( w e left a message, but there has been no answer ). We believe we are being targeted in a fraudulent scheme to bill us for money we do not owe on behalf of a company that is no longer operating. We have submitted a complaint with the Texas Attorney General 's office, but are looking for any help we can get. Thank you very much.

On XX/XX/XXXX I was made aware that Service Finance Company LLC dba Service Finance XXXX XXXX Texas placed on my credit report a remark that says " affected by natural disaster ' ear marking the fact that I was being given relief due to the COVID 19 situation This was completely opposite of what XXXX at that company ( XXXX ) told me on XX/XX/XXXX when I called and spoke to him and told him I wanted to avoid any damage to my credit rating I called the company again on XX/XX/XXXX and spoke to XXXX who refused to remove the remark from my credit report XXXX ( employee id # XXXX ) said The Fair Credit Reporting Act of 1970 permits them to let others know I am unable to pay the account right now. I have been disputing a very serious error on my credit file and the company - Service Finance and XXXX has not fixed the error. Under the FCRA they are to report accurate information and they are NOT. ( I have attached proof of this from the lender who denied my loan ) I opened a Home improvement loan from Service Finance.. It is Paid off and taken care of last year sometime.. HOWEVER, they are reporting to credit as a MORTGAGE which they have advised me that they in fact are NOT a mortgage company. Because they are reporting to the credit bureau somehow as a Mortgage, I have just been denied by my mortgage company to buy the house I am under contract to purchase. My lender said the reason for the denial is because there are 60+ Day late payments on this Mortgage with Service Financial which I DO NOT HAVE A MORTGAGE with them nor are they a mortgage company. When we dispute with Service Finance they say that they are not reporting as a mortgage to XXXX XXXX says they are reporting that way. So they blame each other and nobody is fixing this issue! This has already cost me money and if I lose this house I will be losing my earnest deposit and I will SUE you guys as I have already spoken to my attorney. We were over 30 days late making a payment on this loan account. The loan company reported this to the credit agencies ( as we would expect them to do. ) However, they have reported that our loan was a mortgage. It is not a mortgage loan, it is a non-secured installment loan for an HVAC unit. My wife XXXX and I listened to him for about an hour explain how he could get us on the Grid to eliminate our electric bill and maybe even get a refund at the end of the year. We were so excited about eliminating a monthly bill and helping the environment we signed the 2 purchase agreements ; one for {$11000.00} and the other for {$7500.00} ( XXXX XXXX said this was necessary to get the tax credit of {$5600.00} on our XXXX return ). Work proceeded and the system was live with our electric company ( XXXX ) on XX/XX/XXXX. Our XXXX bill came and we saw no credit and I called XXXX and was told that some electric companies delay the credit for one month due to accounting. Our XXXX bill came and only reflected a savings of {$60.00} from last XXXX or 21 %. Again I called XXXX and they sent a tech to my to verify the system was working and found it was working. Many calls XXXX management and no answers or resolution. I have now received my XXXX bill and it shows only a savings of {$13.00} from last year or 5 %. I was late on 1 payment due to being called to XXXX XXXX, and I relocated to a different state. The notifications went to the house, and even though they contacted me via phone which I figured out later. I just completely overlooked the payment. I thought I had put that particular account on autopsy. On top of that I was paying for services I never recieved. I had just bought a home and got a bathroom renovation done, but my case was open due to them not completing the work. They didn't come back for 4 months after I signed. I'm new to this and have never done a renovation so the person who did my reno told me.to go ahead and sign and he'll be back tomorrow with the part that he needed to get my shower working properly. He had come back previously so I took his word on it. Needless to say I was paying for a shower that wasn't operable. I explained to the renovation company everything, but then when I tried to explain to the finance company they said o well you shouldn't have signed and pretty much of he didn't come I should have called them.. I wouldn't have even thought to contact the finance company. I mean if I had an issue with me vehicle I would contact the dealership not the finance company so I was just super confused.

Service Finance Company provided me, via my HVAC contractor, a loan for critical air-conditioning repairs during a 100 degree heat spell. The HVAC contractor did not fix the issue properly and Service Finance Co. initiated the loan prior to my final authorization-which violated their policy and contract requirements. Service Finance Co. subsequently started billing me and attempted collections-even though I had to hire a new HVAC company to complete the original work-and they understood that fact. They paid, erroneously, the original contractor for shoddy and incomplete work. Service Finance Co., after I initiated a complaint with them, decided to negate the contract and forgive the loan. I have numerous emails from them corroborating this. However, they continued to send me billing notices and did collection phone calls to me almost daily. They reported me delinquent to all three credit reporting agencies-and after months of trying to correct the situation, Service Company has not been responsive or living up to their agreement. The credit agencies won't budge either. I need assistance getting Service Finance Co. to correct any and all negative information with the three ( 3 ) credit reporting agencies. Thank you!

In XX/XX/XXXX I took out a home improvement installment loan with Service Finance Company to install solar panels on my home. The next year I sold the home but continued paying the installment loan. In XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX failed and I was near bankruptcy. I decided to pay as much as possible to all existing debt rather than file for bankruptcy. I made an agreement with Service Fin. and they charged off the remaining amount of {$6500.00} in XX/XX/XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX I applied for a home loan to purchase a new house. I was denied and told I had bad repayment and credit concerns involving a past Home Mortgage loan. I have never missed a mortgage or rent payment in my life. I called and found that Service Finance reported the home improvement installment loan as a Real Estate/Mortgage loan. It will prevent me from qualifying for a home loan for 4-6 years! I asked Service Finance to fix the error. They sent a detailed letter to the credit reporting companies telling them it was a " Home Improvement Installment loan. '' However because they categorized it as a real estate loan, XXXX and such must keep it in the mortgage section. Service Finance told me it is impossible to change this.

Company Name : Service Finance Company Account Opened - XXXX Amount - {$10000.00} I contacted them when the loan was first initiated, it was for the installation of an Central AC unit . The company that did the work did not complete the job and I had to have another company come in and complete the labor. I explained this to Service Finance Company and asked them to adjust the amount of the loan to reduce the labor from the bill. After going back and forth for 3 months they stopped returning my calls. Since this has been in dispute, we have not paid on the loan. The account has been closed and charged off for years now. They continue to report it to the XXXX each month as a late payment, even though the account has been closed and charged off. I have requested they update their records. They refuse. This has done major damage to my credit. They have also reported to XXXX as real estate loan as compared to an installment loan. i lost all XXXX of my jobs and lost XXXX relatives. i am deeply affected by the pandemic and my employer is not allowed to open yet because i work for XXXX and XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX. i was able to sign up for 120days of deferred payment with service finance. but i still cant pay them to this day, i still dont have a job and the governor is still not allowing my employers to open. i called service finance to try to sign up for more time in deferred payments. they said they cant help me. i also asked for a hardship assistance, i asked that maybe they could help me out but they told me that they have absolutely no help to give and there is no hardship assistance they can help me during this covid-19 pandemic. i dont know what to do. they will ruin my credit report and charge me late fees. This is a follow up to complained XXXX and XXXX Service Financial is either purposely trying to steal from me or is being lied to from the contractor. There was NO additional work requested as Service Financial claims in their response. The contract was for half up front and half upon completion. The last half was to be finance by Service Finance when the project was completed. Service Finance mistakenly financed the loan at the beginning of the project. The project WAS NEVER COMPLETED. Please help. Service Finance knows they did a mistake and even admitted it during a recorded phone call. They gave the contractor the last half of the money and then the contractor failed to complete the project! Please do not just close this case. Ask Service Financial for the contract that was supplied by the contractor. Ask Service Financial for the proof that the project was signed off as completed by the consumer! Service Financial should have a document from its saying that the project was complete and to fund the loan. PLEASE ASK SERVICE FINANCIAL FOR THIS PROOF.

We purchased a new door through XXXX. They verbally called Service Finance for approval and told us the payment would be $ XXXX/Month. We did not sign anything related to financing at this time. We then received a statement from Service Financing for {$240.00} monthly payment. When we questioned it, they provided the paperwork that they say we signed. The signature on the document is forged, it is not my signature, and it is clearly copied ( the exact same signature ) multiple times throughout the document. It is not dated, and the section asking for my birthday is not completed either. We advised Service Finance Company , LLC that we believed our signature was forged and were disputing this, and they still sent us to collections! Now my credit has been impacted. In addition, the financing never should have gone through, because XXXX did not schedule the inspection ( he arrived unannounced ) and was not allowed into the home, so he could not have correctly signed off on the inspection as it was not completed. But I believe that is an entirely different issue?

Thiis installment loan was for the purchase of an HVAC in XXXX. My wife and I are borrower and coborrower on the account. In XXXX she alone filed for bankruptcy and the statements were no longer sent to her. Instead of send them to me as the coborrower they did not send any at all. They have put a 90 day late/charge off on the account, though they listed 30 day late in XXXX, no data on the credit report for XXXX. Theyve listed the account as charged off, but we have a letter stating the account is paid in full and they agreed to settle. The credit report also states the original balance was {$14000.00} and written off was {$14000.00}, but again we have a letter stating the account was paid in full..so there is no charge off. We also have payment history and receipt of the final payment of {$7000.00} on XXXX XXXX. So, clearly the information is incorrect. They did not report this payment, and just reported this account as closed. We have disputed this several times, but it has yet to be corrected. We need the charge off to be removed completely from this account.

Hi, my name is XXXX XXXX and I'm having issues with a company named Service Finance. I continuously asked Service Finance to stop calling me, remove my number from their calling log and they continue to harass me with phone calls and letters that I keep returning. I get threats of them reporting incorrect information on my credit report. They asked me for my personal information each time they call and I get a lot of hang-up calls and late calls after XXXX from them. This has been going on for months, even after sending them my police report and my credit dispute letters, and I even sent in the Identity theft report and letters, along with the 605B and the complaint consumer letters. I had new windows installed by XXXX XXXX in XX/XX/XXXX of XXXX. They did not complete the job as they had made an error and were coming back to fix it. The finance company, XXXX XXXX insisted to pay them even though the job was not complete. The representative from XXXX XXXX said she had to put it through and pay the company even though the job was not complete which i disagreed. She also told me the payment would be due XX/XX/XXXX ( paperwork states XX/XX/XXXX ). I paid off the loan of {$8500.00} on XX/XX/XXXX with assurances from XXXX XXXX that the job would be completed. XXXX XXXX is now trying to charge me additional interest on interest of about {$50.00} saying the interest started when they paid XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX. I disagree since the job was not complete and that is why I am filing this complaint against them. I submitted a complaint about Service Finance Company LLC on XX/XX/2020 ( XXXX ) regarding an incorrect past due on my credit report which caused my credit score to drop down 79 points. This complaint was investigated and Service Finance responded back that a manual error erroneously was reported a past due to the credit bureau and that they apologized to me and have rectified their error. Shortly after that my credit score went back up 76 points which made me happy. Then a week later I received another notification from XXXX XXXX that Service Finance Company LLC reported me past due again to the credit bureau which lowered my credit score another 39 points. Also, when they responded back from the first complaint they referred me as Ms. and Her. They gave me the loan which I never missed a payment and I have since paid off in full and they mailed me a refund check for {$2.00}. I feel that this company needs to be investigated for bad business practices. Thank you for giving this matter your time and attention.

I was past due on an account. I spoke to the company and got a deferment due to being affected by covid. I was told that no negative reporting would happen during the deferment period. After have some conversations with one of my credit card companys I checked my credit report to find that the account was noted past due during the deferment period. I disputed it and the company refused to change the reporting saying it was accurate. I spoke to the company them selves they refused to change it because it was past due before going into deferment. I explained that I was told by the person I spoke to that it would not be reported negative during the deferment and they said but you were past due before deferment so we are not changing it. I feel this is unfair reporting as I was in a deferment period and told that there would be no negative reporting to the credit bureaus during this time yet here we are they reported negatively to the credit bureau during this time. The company is refusing to do anything about it.

I applied for {$7100.00} credit through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX because I was upgrading my HVAC system. I was denied credit through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. According to the information sent to me, the reasons for the denial were the following ; Proportion of balances to credit limits on bank/national revolving or other revolving accounts is too high ; Derogatory public record on collection filed ; According to their records, my credit score was a XXXX. The reasons stated above are inconsistent. First, the proportion of balances to credit limits were under 20 %. Second, there is a settlement on my credit report, however, it was settled in XX/XX/XXXX. In addition, it was stated that my credit score was a XXXX. This is not true. This is a follow up to the complaint I filed earlier this year # XXXX. I agreed to use this loan company and pay them 12 months AFTER the contractor completed the job he was hired for. As of today ... the work is FAR from complete. I have repeatedly told this finance company that the job is not done and the funds should NOT be released. I have told them this consistently since the beginning of the year ( all on a recorded line ). However ... the financing company has ignored the fact that I've told them the job is not done, and, they have released the funds to the contractor. So ... I want to be clear that the 12 month " interest free '' period will NOT start until the job is done. I just got off the phone with them again today and told them that, but, the person I spoke with, XXXX, said there was noting that could be done. This is an outrage! Service Finance are liars and are charging me interest on my HVAC loan and I am not 30 days past due. On XX/XX/XXXX they charged me {$57.00} in interest. On XX/XX/XXXX they charged me {$93.00}. I believe on or about XX/XX/2019 they payment system fraudulently took {$320.00} from my bank account and I only authorized {$160.00}. I filed a fraud complaint with my bank. My bank got my money back. Also Service Finance returned the {$320.00}. I filed the fraud complaint to document their fraud actions. Service Finance is reporting this debt as an open acct on my credit bureaus but the acct was charged off in XXXX. This company is also still charging interest on a charged off acct and also reporting this account as a mortgage account when it's actually a home improvement loan. I had an installment loan with Service Finance Company for an air conditioning unit installed at my home. I lost my job and was late on several payments. I paid off the loan fully in XX/XX/2019. I went to re-finance my home mortgage and was informed that Service Finance incorrectly reported the account type to the credit reporting services as a mortgage account which severely impacted my credit score, instead of the proper account type ( unsecured installment loan ). Within the past 8 months, I obtained a 0 % interest loan, from a third party for septic services. After my first bill was received, I noticed that it only allows 15 days from the time the bill is issued, but when it arrives, it only allows for 7. This gives no grace period if something gets delayed in the mail. This is also a lender that requires banks to mail checks for payment, and not electronically pay. That means the day after the monthly statement arrives is the latest you can use a bank 's billpay service. The monthly statement also does not list : Previous months payments It does include very confusing, unclear, lines about current promotional balance due and Initial balances, but no application of payments. I did call in about both these issues, and the customer service person acknowledged the issue, but offered no solutions. This is deceptive.

My husband and I signed a " Retail Installment Contract '' with Service Finance Company , LLC for the purchase of new laminate flooring for our property in XX/XX/XXXX, with a set payment amount each month. SFC is using my credit to extort money from me for goods and services that SFC admits to not even having a contract for. Every month when I try to log in to the Service Finance Company LLC website, the website doesnt recognize my username and password. I wrote down both when I set up my account, so I am sure that they are correct. I also regularly engage in online banking and transactions and understand how to use the Internet. The mobile app for XXXX is equally bad. This website consistently rejects my valid username and password. As a result, my payments have been recorded late on multiple occasions. To avoid this issue, I tried to set up auto pay, but you can not set up auto pay if your account is late. The website and rules are set up in a very anti-consumer fashion, making it confusing and difficult to make payments. I fell behind on my loan and it was charged off. I contacted the company and got current with my payments, I was told since the loan was charged off I would no longer have any interest charges. A few months later I started to notice fees being attached to my monthly amount due. I called the company to inquire I was told it was a late fee so paid it, the following month the fee appeared again on my bill, I called right away but was told that I was now. We are paying 6.99 % interest. It is too high. I obtained a credit card to do a balance transfer. XXXX sent the balance transfer to them to pay off the loan. Service Finance rejected the payment and sent it back to XXXX.
