Oh my life I tXXXX XXXX worked for the XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX one day I decided Im gon na go get a job where I can have some benefits and retirement. I went to work for XXXX as XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX years XXXX XXXX on a XXXX XXXX and I financed it through security finance credit union in XXXX XXXX in XXXX XXXX As we go through life, we see people go through things and things happen to them. And wonder its got to be hard to go through. Let me tell you my story its real its a real deal one year into payment on my loan with security finance I fell significantly sick with life and death issues and they will last for three years. Finally XX/XX/XXXX I finally started feeling well and XXXX had a XXXX XXXX. It formed on my spine and XXXX me from waist down. I couldnt ever find out what was I was in horrible pain. We did not know the blood clot was there, and after a week, I realized if I didnt do something I was never going to walk again so I went and had a XXXX and found a XXXX XXXX which had been there for about seven days in thats where it began. I had to learn how to walk again, the problem was the spine was collapse for a long period of time leaving long term damage, it was just a hard time but I made it. I got over it. I did return to work next thing, you know, severe XXXX attack put in the hospital take to XXXX out while they were there they cut a hole in my XXXX XXXX. not realizing this situation happened five days later my whole body was XXXX every XXXX XXXX and XXXXXXXX Doctors advised my family her odds arent XXXX XXXX gon na make it XXXX XXXX months in the hospital. I made it I overcame the odds I was a cowgirl from XXXX Texas, it took me to XX/XX/XXXX to get strength back from a XXXX pound lady who was XXXX pounds all day long.Once at home then XXXX was back in my right eye rushed to Texas XXXX in XXXX lost my right eye but due to wonderful nurses every XXXX minutes for 10 days putting eye drops trying not to lose my left eye because the right eye was XXXX scheduled for a corneal transplant. I really felt I could not take another hospital visit if youre just being out from being in XXXX for XXXX XXXX months and then turn around and go right back for 10 days time I post pone the corneal transplant, I seem to be getting better and getting well. I will come back home and my dogs were playing in the rain by me and XXXX of them scratched my leg cleaned it really good it was very small XXXX days later Ive XXXX a gaping hole in the side of my leg. I had a back rare XXXX eaten through my leg, and I went to an after after hours care of clinic straight to the wound care hospital and overcoming that and they it was the hardest XXXX years I ever fought in my life because I was not a quitter as a cowgirl, security finance. Yes, they were in the rearview mirror. XXXX months into my through your journey I did communicate with them they want me to turn the truck in. They do not see me ever being able XXXX XXXX it again and how I wasnt going to be a quitter so but that is when the the major stuff hit, and I did not communicate with them because I was fighting to live a real dog fight. And then my best friend my husband of XXXX, he couldnt take it had a girlfriend and left. do you to the XXXX and you have XXXX different kinds of XXXX that will probably always remain. I dont know how I contracted it but we never know I live in the country 19 years in my home XXXX acres arena horses.I no longer live out there so I had to move to town and living in apartment, everything had worked My whole life was XXXX XXXX XXXX when the first taxes were paid out my check I never quit trying to live be here another day. Its been life changing XXXX thing I do know is my father in in XXXX wants me to be here. I had left my truck and my dog .Saturday, XX/XX/XXXX I believe its date and tow truck picked my vehicle up for repossession after XXXX XXXX years. I do understand and realistically that I failed to communicate with XXXX understand this that I was fighting to live my family. They took care of me, but they also had their families to take care of in. I just figured that it was over they wrote it off or taken it off for medical and I did read the policies again because I just do not understand the XXXX years they didnt do anything. I stand corrected. They did send a notice of they were pending insurance on the truck did not understand that because I kept the truck insured I Did Call security, finance XXXX thing and they advised me they were {$39000.00} and I asked them why why has it been so long you know that all the sudden this is it in on find me well I was not hard to find as I found the truck they couldve found it anytime. so I guess my complaint is security finance. Is he left the truck in my possession do you want the hardest time is it a persons light and they just come pick it up and say you need to pass {$39000.00} or were going to auction it I ask him, if they would work with me and you and read their policies and they said no because they had written it off OK I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX for help. I was advised by them they do not know Texas XXXX I dont understand how you are an overseer basically and not know your state law I called everyone under the sun and finally the very sweet lady in the library gave me your phone number invite me Nice talk to help you and when I called your first agent, this man take the time to hear my story and wonder why no one in my state how do you need knowledge of? Could there be some thing that could cover me? Is there a statute of limitation on this and became XXXX over this? Please understand XXXX not trying to blame this on security finance. I know that I was in default and I also noticed I need for my life. And I had XXXX knee replaced in XXXX and they said another XXXX XXXX. It was first time in the whole life. I went into the hospital and came out with no secondary condition. Thats what XXXX grateful for him. Also very grateful for you guys, considering taking my complaint and listening, but this is my story and I thank you so very much for your time I will be uploading the medical bills, not the bills. This is the kind of timeline in the things that Ive shared with you today and thank you in advance for your help in this matter. I did ask security, finance if I could have just a little time to see my options and I was advised that I had 10 days.

On XX/XX/2023 I received a call from Security Service federal Credit Union. The representative told me that I was late on my line of credit payment. The person stated that it was past due by I believe 27 days. I told them I do not have a line of credit with them. I only have 2 car loans and those were up to date. I was then told that I had previously signed onto a checking account with my son XXXX XXXX and that he had taken a line of credit and because I had signed onto that account it automatically put my name on the line of credit and I was responsible for it. I explained that in no way shape form or fashion did I even agree to or sign for a loan or letter of credit and it was not my responsibility. We had a very lengthy heated discussion and I was transferred around several times until I ended up with another gentleman who then put me on hold for 30 minutes. I finally disconnected. I then went and checked my credit and it had now dropped XXXX points. I did not see any reporting but I contacted someone I know in the banking industry and they advised that Security Service likely did what is called a soft pull. On XX/XX/XXXX the harassments then continued on XX/XX/2023. At XXXX ; XXXX XXXX I received another call from a collections person again advising I was late on my payment and I needed to make a payment. I again explained I do not owe this. I am not on the note and I have nothing to do with any loan or default that XXXX XXXX may or may not have. I demanded documentation to show that I had signed or this and that I was in any way financially responsible for this. I was only told that they would pull the documents. In the meantime I got ahold of my son. I had a lengthy discussion with him and he said that 1 ) I was not responsible for this 2 ) he had called Security service and told them it was all his responsibility and he said that he told Security service to only contact him, He also requested the paperwork. Then I XX/XX/XXXX I received another call from the collections department. I again told them that this was not my responsibility. I explained that I never signed onto any loan. If there was my signature on the loan then it was a forgery and I would file a police report. This was another very lengthy call. On XXXX the XXXX XXXX I received another call from the collections department but I was unable to answer it. XXXX the XXXX was a Friday. On Saturday I met with my son and he provided me the paperwork. This paperwork clearly shows that he and he alone signed for a XXXX loan. It has his social, his name and his signature. He is the borrower listed and nowhere is there a co borrower nor my name anywhere on this paperwork. On XX/XX/2023 I received yet another call from the collections department. I firmly told this individual that I wanted the call preserved for evidence purposes. That altering or destroying the call would be viewed as destruction of evidence and I explained that a complaint has been filed with the Attorney General of Texas. I explained that I have the paperwork and my name is nowhere on it. I explained that while it may have been possible that I signed onto a checking account as a cosigner I never ever signed onto the loan of XXXX. I told him that he has broken all sorts of laws and provided me information on a debt I do not owe but someone else does. After about a 15 min call we disconnected. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a call from XXXX at the Security Service headquarters. He called and apologized. He said they were wrong. I do not owe the debt. he said they had made an error. He agreed that the debt was not mine. I explained that I was upset. I had been harassed and disparaged for a matter that is not my responsibility. I told him about the credit issue. I let him know they had made all sorts of mistakes. So It has taken over 5 phone calls. My credit is down XXXX points and I have lost time at work. I have lost sleep due to the stress and Security Service says oops I am sorry. I am lucky that I have contacts in the banking world that know the rules and were able to guide me to ask for the right information. How many other people does this crooked organization take advantage of with their harassment nd prehistory phone calls trying to claim people owe debts when they do not. This needs to stop. I still do not know if this is going to show up on my credit report in 30 days. I need help and I am asking the CFPB to investigate and take all action they can against this organization.

They have not consulted with XXXX XXXX ( WE, US XXXX OUR ) Have a UCC-1 Financial Statement as a SPC : it's all public recorded. and lastly:15 U.S. Code 1605 - Determination of finance charge ( a ) Finance charge defined Except as otherwise provided in this section, the amount of the finance charge in connection with any consumer credit transaction shall be determined as the sum of all charges, payable directly or indirectly by the person to whom the credit is extended, and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to the extension of credit. The finance charge does not include charges of a type payable in a comparable cash transaction. The finance charge shall not include fees and amounts imposed by third party closing agents ( including settlement agents, attorneys, and escrow and title companies ) if the creditor does not require the imposition of the charges or the services provided and does not retain the charges. Examples of charges which are included in the finance charge include any of the following types of charges which are applicable : ( 1 ) Interest, time price differential, and any amount payable under a point, discount, or other system or additional charges. ( 2 ) Service or carrying charge. ( 3 ) Loan fee, finders fee, or similar charge. ( 4 ) Fee for an investigation or credit report. Hello, I received a letter from XXXX stating that they received evidence of hazard insurance ; however, that I have a lapse of insurance coverage from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX, and I " May '' receive a charge of XXXX due to Lender Placed Insurance being added onto my account for the " lapse '' of coverage they claim I had. I can confirm that I did NOT have a lapse of coverage for my property. My prior insurance with XXXX ended on XX/XX/XXXX, and my new policy with XXXX began on XX/XX/XXXX and is good through XXXX of XXXX. The frustrating part is that the letter states " thank you for providing evidence of your hazard insurance. We have updated our records to reflect this current information. Our records 'still ' show that there is a lapse of coverage ''. I know this is incorrect. When I called to ask if this was the case, the agent on the phone started off very combative and defensive until she realized that there was no lapse of coverage. I advised that since I have had issues with XXXX before, I want a letter stating that I will " NOT '' be charged the XXXX for lender placed insurance. I also want to be provided an escrow history and/or payment history reflecting payments made from to and from my escrow account that aligns to show proof that I will not be charged XXXX because of the negligence of XXXX. XXXX already has my proof of coverage, as the letter states. A simple review should be able to identify that my old insurance was cancelled on XX/XX/XXXX, and that my new policy was in place effective XX/XX/XXXX. I understand that XXXX XXXX not have gotten proof of my new insurance policy until after XX/XX/XXXX ; however, there should be a process in place to ensure that fruitless letters such as the letter dated XX/XX/XXXX, never get generated in the first place. Furthermore, it is discouraging that I have to call to speak to an incompetent person over the phone in an attempt to adjust my automatic payments from XXXX. The online banking platform for XXXX is seriously lacking luster in user friendliness capabilities. A financial institution as large as XXXX should have a better online platform with an easier customer interface allowing its customers to have better control of how their payments are made. When I set up automatic payments last year, the information on the automatic payments letter was incorrectly written, causing my automatic payments to draft incorrectly requiring me to call and request for the automatic payments to be updated. When I spoke to an agent about it, they made it seem as it was my negligence on how the automatic payment was drafted and was my fault for it being incorrectly drafted the first time. Lastly, I feel that agents should be able to access an imaging system to be able to see what letters have been generated to the customers. All financial institutions I have worked at allowed for front line agents to be able to access letters sent to the customer so they are more informed. It seems as if XXXX knows their front line employees are unintelligent or incapable of having the power and authority needed to see letters their own company generates. This needs to be abolished. XXXX needs to allow its front line agents to have access to imaging systems that allows them to identify letters their customers received.

My bank Security Service Federal Credit Union refused to help me when my information was stolen and used on another phone through the mobile banking app that they provide so when I found out my mobile banking was compromised after having the account for only about a month went down there to speak with the people at the bank sat down with him and started to do the process of their investigation which they didn't do any investigation I had to provide everything to them and I proved that it wasn't me and yet they said my money was gone and that they wouldn't help me get it back even though it's FDIC insured, Ok so I originally started it with {$30000.00} and somebody hacked into the mobile banking app and use my information and withdrew and spent I guess made a new card or a second card with the same information but both online and card based payments as well as they were moving stuff from my savings account where it was to the checking so it could be spent without me knowing and that started on XXXX which was not long after I originally opened the accounts and I disputed and did the fraud department and everything and they said that they would be in contact with me and never heard anything for months going down there and everything trying to find out what was going on and I gave him the information that they requested I even was the one that had to go through all my statements and give them what I did do which wasn't much but they didn't do any work other than they drug it out and did nothing and refuse to you help me get my money back or at least some of it or something but no they said that it was my fault that the phone that had hacked on to my mobile banking and use my information did not have the same IMEI which is the identification for the type of phone it is it's the serial number did not match the phone that I have it was different yet they said it was me and it was my fault and yet I gave them proof that it was not me but continued all the way up until well into XXXX the date being XXXX, I had stopped using the account for spending because they refused to issue me a card but even money I took to them and put in the bank account was spent and I didn't even have a card or access to the mobile banking app of theirs because they refused to issue one and locked me out of the app even after the frad department closed those accounts and opened new ones to try to stop it and I can only deposit cash or withdrawal cash from inside the bank no other ways. I really need to have this fixed and get my money back because it is literally but me and a bind I'm a XXXX XXXX do a XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX and the money that was taken was well around {$18000.00} or more and that is caused me to lose a lot of things it made it difficult to be to try and care for my XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX you could reach back out to me and help me get this resolved and help me get my life straightened out due to this financial crisis it would be greatly appreciated thank you and have a blessed day.

My name is XXXX XXXX, Around XXXX of XXXX I discovered a number of accounts on my credit report that turned out to be fraud and were opened online and in person in several banks/credit unions and department stores without my knowledge causing my credit rating to sink. I started to contact all institutions one by one and submitting documents to explain the situation including police and identity theft reports from government agencies. Most fraud departments were very helpful and resolved the matter within 30 days. I am now in the XXXX month with a number of complaints and correspondence with Security Service Federal Union without any results. Firstly, they took over 4 months to respond to a number of emails/mails and phone messages. A so called " fraud specialist '' named XXXX XXXX XXXX from SSFCU finally took my call and said they were backed up and apologized for delaying my requests to view my case and asked me at this point to re-send my police report.. I did once again and after several months of trying to get ahold of him another member named XXXX XXXX in management ) took my call and essentially told me that I myself was my identity thief.. Yes, she said my voice sounded like the person opening the accounts, she also told me I was on video opening this account in their bank.. I've never been in this bank. She then tried to justify her claims by asking me for my personal information i.e. address/phone/email/dob, and of course everything matched. I told her once again that the information probably matches because my identity was comprised including my email, but she wasn't listening. She asked me what the names of my parents were and claimed that matched as well. Now I'm no expert, but if my information was utilized by a thief it is obvious that the same information is going to be used to open whatever accounts the suspects were looking to establish. In conclusion I am asking for help, since I wasn't able to resolve the matter with this banks own fraud department and found many levels of incompetence, malpractice, false accusations and even discrimination. I felt I was talking to someone who was in fact supposed to help me was asking me if I'm sure I was a victim of identity theft and if that was possibly myself. If anyone knows what its like to go through the mere fact of trying to clear things with financial institutions and then having the very banks fraud department telling me the my email matches the account in question should understand that this department needs new staff and/or is mismanaged.. I will make further reports of this experience to all other agencies registered with state and government and will seek legal counsel if it isn't resolved. XX/XX/XXXX

The requested documents are the following : A copy of the original contract that includes the wet ink signatures of all parties involved. Provide verification and authentic documentation that there is a valid basis for claiming that I must pay the debt. ; Provide all original authentic accounting records, ledgers and bookkeeping journal entries, including tax filings for these consumer accounts ; Provide verification, documentation and proof of authorization that you have the right to collect ; An accurate and authentic accounting records, ledgers and bookkeeping journal entries for the request of credit extension made by XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, and a statement of disclosure clarifying the reason for rejection of the request ; An authentic accounting of all voluntary payments made to account # XXXX, as well as for any closed accounts for XXXX XXXX XXXX SS # XXXX XXXX A statement providing clarification of account XXXX, the current status and most recent records of performance of this account ( dividends earned, dividends paid etc. ) ; An authentic accounting of all coupons/dividends and including unclaimed coupons/ dividends for all active and closed accounts/securities owed to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Security Service Federal Credit Union did not provide a statement or reason for adverse action on application for credit submitted to XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX and was denied, despite remaining in good standing on account XXXX, thereby violating ( 15 USC 1691 ( d ) ( 6 ), 12 CFR 1002.12 Security Service Federal Credit Union responded to my request for authentic accounting records information with XXXX ( XXXX ) most recent billing statements for account XXXX, which is non-compliant to GAAP accounting and records for a financial institution. Security Service Federal Credit Union is still sending collection notices to my residence despite having not provided valid proof of a debt. I have XXXX issues. I am a veteran XXXX identity theft watch program with the office of personnel management via the XXXX due to a XXXX breach. Since fed agencies removed full socials and mostly all partial socials on all paperwork. I called in today and couldn't get an agent. I pushed the options to get checking account info after asking for an agent XXXX My phone is insecure as well as our phone call. Security XXXX decided to ask for the last half of my social security number via automated bot and not agent like I requested. This is a XXXX failure in privacy. This happened on XX/XX/2023 around XXXX XXXX. I then spoke with an agent to file a complaint as cell phones are not secure lines with data breaches due to trusting all devices. I understand this may cause inconvenience but not XXXX person needs my social but me and my spouse ( husband or wife ). The agent and supervisor in question said I could give other info instead. The automated line did not allow that, instead, it said if I didn't put in my last XXXX that it would hang up and did XXXX. I called XXXX originally. Additionally, the supervisor wanyed to badger me on why i was questioning security when breaches happen daily even to XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, even to state offices. A company that questions why a user has security concerns when their name literally has security in it, is a fallacy on its own.. If I get breached again due to a company I have no choice but to sue for damages. My XXXX issue is I use third party services for management. Before XXXX, plaid was trashed. I complained and was able to use it again. Recently, I can no longer use it. I don't want a security service app like this because I don't trust them with the last interaction when this is an ongoing issue so far especially with the issue noted above. All I want to do is use plaid and to not have my personal information exposed by companies that have poor security practice that can't even match state and fed level already. Fed employees can't even email me directly because I am required to use encryption and their secure messaging and calling. They don't ask for socials anymore period.. you can verify me just like they do..

Our loan was placed in forbearance due to my husband and I both losing our jobs repeatedly during XXXX. Upon the expiration of our forbearance, the lender/servicer ( XXXX ) told us the only way to rectify the situation was to pay, in a lump sum, $ XXXX. Because of them lying to both my husband and I, we separated and were XXXX week from finalizing our divorce. Luckily we reconciled and began working with our mortgage company together, and realized we were both being told different things. I researched our options according to CFPB and XXXX XXXX and our options were NOT being given to us. When the lender/servicer/collection agency was confronted with this, they offered a loan modification but were adding the past due payments to our mortgage balance, thus increasing the balance and making it impossible to sell the home for that amount. We insisted to talk to someone in management or directly with the servicer ( XXXX ) and again were told no, that our options included a XXXX year loan for a larger amount or to now pay almost $ XXXX to avoid foreclosure. We have communicated with our mortgage company monthly asking for all our options to be presented and they were not. Now, they have filed for a non-judicial foreclosure. This company ( XXXX ) has been sued multiple times in class action suits for this very thing. We currently have renters and they are about to purchase this home. We need to stop this unlawful company from ruining our lives, their lives, and countless others. We have submitted for XXXX funds in the state of XXXX for relief. This too was not given to us as an option, we had to research this issue ourselves.

Recently I was scammed by a job opportunity and I was sent to checks one of them was returned for the amount of {$2000.00} the 2nd was for {$4000.00} which both checks I had deposited.The 2nd check was initially on hold when I spoke to someone named XXXX, she told me that by a certain date of it didn't come back that it would have went through. Then later I called the bank to see the status of the check. I spoke to XXXX from risk management and she explained to me that eventually it would get flagged and that she was holding it indefinitely for that reason. I had asked previously if I should contact the bank and I was told not to so I didn't. They did not clearly convey their responsibilities in regard to my account but rather to a third -party non-affiliate.The check went through initially, she placed it on hold for a 3 more weeks. I checked my account again and the check had went through and was in my account. I attempted to transfer money from checking to savings to clear my account balance when I was stopped and prevented from doing so. Security Service XXXX has done little to nothing in helping find a solution to my account. After the check has already been held for a prolonged amount of time. XXXX deliberately contacted the bank on the check and disclosed my personal account information in order to prevent the funds that were already in my account 2 times from being accessed with the sole purpose of denying access to funds in my account. The other bank was responsible for their accounts, XXXX disregarded my situation and my privacy.

I had a vehicle loan through security service federal credit Union. Included in my loan was gap insurance. The DEF system went out on the truck which cost around {$5300.00} to repair. I notified the bank and asked to add it on to the end of my loan. I authorized the repairs to be done due to XXXX regulations, which I have to uphold according to the loan contract. I was out of town on business with my dad and when the repair was done I told the bank to go pick it up so they didn't put a mechanics lien-on it. When I got to the bank to sign the papers they told me it was too late that they had already sold my vehicle with all my tools on it. I went in several times saying you couldn't take my vehicle while I was currently on all my payments. So I'm out of vehicle, I'm out all of my tools that I made a living with, I'm out of a job, and I'm out of a way back and forth to work. XXXX XXXX didn't cover me nor did my full coverage insurance through XXXX. Who allowed someone to add their email to my accounts, which allowed them to do account takeovers on all accounts with the credit unions that I did business with. I'm scared to take out any loans now. I'm scared to buy any insurance. I learned from my mistakes by having liability insurance and I guess I'm a fool for buy full coverage. No credits, compensation, or reasonable offer have been made. And if so, how am I supposed to know if they allow account takeovers without ever letting me know. The main items i believe to be incorrect are listed below along with a report I have created outlining the timeline/data and documents repeatedly submitted to Security Service Federal Credit Union as Proof of Insurance . The creditor " Security Service Federal Credit Union '' applied " Forced-placed insurance from the initial date of the loan and throughout the contract. Covid created a 75 % loss to my business. We had a 2nd mortgage through " Security Service Federal Credit Union ''. On XX/XX/XXXX we received a forbearance. That ended on XX/XX/XXXX. According to the NCUA ( National Credit Union Administration ) after the forbearance period, I should have be allowed ( since I had never missed a payment ) to have a deferral, since I can now make the regular payment. This deferral was to allow me to place the missed payment at the end of the loan and subordinate lien. Instead, XXXX asked to numerous items. I promptly gave them all the documentation they had asked for and time after time XXXX stated I had failed to provide the supporting documentation. This is a blatant lie and it went on for 11 months. According to the law, it should have been completed in 30 days or less. In addition, they were trying to do a loan modification which is not practical for me. Last week, I received a phone call stating they had rejected the loan modification and that all of my CARES ACT missed payments are no due and they will start foreclosure process. This 2nd mortgage was for only {$16000.00} and I have equity of over {$600000.00}. It is obvious the they are violated the CARES ACT and the NCUA guidelines. They have been charging interest the entire time too.

The account is still showing as open and I am billed monthly for a payment which is on an automatic withdrawal. I have faxed several 'signed ' documents to them providing proof of closing and several other documents from the title company and forms that they have provided. Deceptive Collateral Protection Insurance Practices XXXX. The website was down and being renovated during the pandemic and since has been restored and upgraded. XXXX. While looking at the balance sheet on the new web access the deception is on the balance sheet where there is a curious line on the statement that reads ... '' DISCOUNT ADDED ''. There is no other description with regard to these words that appear positive in nature. We had no way of knowing at that time that this was collateral protection insurance. Due to the ineptitude of the website and their failure to communicate with us fairly they successfully hid what they were doing. We didn't find out until a year later when we were doing our taxes. At that point there is no remedy to reverse these charges which are deceptive, incomprehensive, and excessive! They provided no correspondence on how they calculated such an exorbitant amount. When we contacted them for an explanation they actually threatened to repossess our vehicle even through we are not late on any payments.

The identify verification information being used by Security Services Federal Credit Union is not correct and is prohibiting the correct verification of my identity. This problem is not unique to SSFCU. It has occurred with several banks because they because their source information, presumably procured by the credit rating agencies, is not correct. My credit information is often confused with my father 's information. I have tried to disentangle this with the credit rating agencies before with limited success. I am currently trying to open a CD with SSFCU and keep getting asked identity information about my father. I am therefore required to answer information about my father to verify my own identity. Even when I try to correctly answer all questions, some information I simply don't know, like the color of the car he bought before I was born. This is a system problem that needs to be fixed, but neither the credit rating agencies procuring the information, nor the credit union using it, are willing to take the effort to fix it.

We are closing on the sale of our home and, as a part of that, the title company requested the payoff from our mortgage lender. They are trying to charge is a {$1600.00} prepayment penalty because we closed on the refinanced loan less than 36 months ago. However, their monthly statement listed the prepayment penalty as " None '' and they never verbally disclosed the prepayment penalty with us at any time during the loan process.
