Last summer two men knocked on our door representing XXXX XXXX XXXX saying they were doing free roof inspections. We let them go on our roof and they came down and said it was a total loss. They asked me to sign a form that would allow them to contact our insurance co. After they left my husband and I had a bad feeling about this co. and decided to go with someone else. We got our roof done and never thought about it again. Fast forward six months later, I get a phone call from Second Chance Collections saying I owe {$1500.00} for 10 % of the job by XXXX XXXX, I informed them that i'm not paying a dime since they did not do our roof. From XXXX/2018 to today they have harassed me at home, they harass me at my work, they even went on my work website and got the owners personal number and called her and harassed her, they call my work and threaten the receptionists, I have asked them to stop and they refuse. I have called several different attorneys but they all say there is nothing they can do unless they actually serve me. I have never received anything in writing from them and they threaten to serve me but in seven months nothing ever happens except for the harassing phone calls. What they are doing is illegal, but they don't seem to care, don't I have any rights here, this can not go on anymore and I just don't know what to do! Please help me!!

This debt is with a third party Second Chance Collections LLC phone number XXXX with a representative named XXXX.
The original debt is from a pay day loan lender and I am not 100 % sure I owe it, I have never received anything in writing and each time I speak to XXXX, I have been at work at not able to take his call.
I explained to the gentleman that I was not availble until after 5 to speak with him. He called me multiple times and then started calling me from a blocked number, I know this because he left a message one of the times and another time when I answered it was him. He called me over 15 times throughout the day.
I am not availble to speak with him until the afternoon and I have explained this, he called me this morning and I answered and hung up the phone because I was in a meeting, he preceeded to call me from a blocked number 5 times within 1 minute. When I answered he said he was not going to stop calling me because I have to pay back them their money. He then proceeded to scream at me, disconnect and threatened me after I informed him that it was illegal for him to continously contact me in that manner.
