XXXX - CFPB Fraud Complaint - UCFS & XXXX XX/XX/XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX ( XXXX : XXXX ) and their finance partner - United Consumer Financial Services ( abbrev. UCFS ). Contracts On XX/XX/XXXX, I entered into a 36-month installment contract, {$360.00} per month with XXXX to acquire their H2 Molecular Hydrogen Water System to assist my wifes recovery from the complications of Chronic XXXX XXXX. Concomitantly, my wife entered into XXXX Case Study Program agreeing to pay me {$350.00} per month for 36 months. We would not have done the former ( entered into an installment contract to purchase ) without the latter ( acceptance into XXXX Case Study Program that provided funds to offset monthly payments due under the installment contract ). XXXX Acts of Fraud - Two months after delivery, the product ceased working. Over the past 4 months, numerous phone calls, texts and email messages were made to XXXX and they have yet to repair or replace the product under their 3-year warranty. - Three months after entering XXXX Case Study Program, XXXX ceased making payments to me. Over the past 3 months, numerous phone calls, texts and email messages were made to XXXX and they have yet to restore payments to me under their program. XXXX Questionable Reputation - On XX/XX/XXXX, XXXX published an article stating over 300 users have reported complaints about XXXX poor product performance and questionable business practices. XXXX XXXX XXXX - We have first-hand experience witnessing XXXX poor product performance and questionable business practices. - A check on the internet shows published customer complaints date back to as early as XX/XX/XXXX. Customer complaints began and grew over 21 months before I entered into the installment contract to acquire XXXX product. https : XXXX XXXX Complicity in Fraud Elements of Fraud. a. purposeful misrepresentation of an important fact ; b. to a victim who justifiably relies on the misrepresentation ; and c. who suffers actual loss as a result. My counsel advises : ( 1 ) UCFS had implied notice of XXXX product performance and questionable business practices before taking assignment of / buying my installment contract ; ( 2 ) the circumstances indicate we are victims of fraud perpetrated by both parties ; and ( 3 ) civil fraud ( our complaint here ) has a lower threshold for proof vs. criminal fraud. Consider the following : - The installment contract was prepared on UCFSs stock finance paper by XXXX, naming XXXX as seller and XXXX XXXX as buyer. Subsequently, UCFS took assignment this financing, accepting seller ( XXXX ) and buyer ( me, XXXX XXXX ). - We presume UCFS vetted both seller and buyer as responsible parties in their credit review process assuming we would both satisfactorily complete our respective contractual obligations. - As a part of the credit approval process of vendors from whom they buy finance paper, UCFS is expected to know ( implied notice ) of XXXX reputation before taking assignment of / buying an installment contract from XXXX. There is a business truism coined by the XXXX XXXX and followed by business entities interested in maintaining sound reputations make sure the quality goes in before the name goes on. It is apparent either ( 1 ) UCFS suffered a lapse in judgement not adequately checking the quality of XXXX reputation before accepting financings with Trusiis name on UCFS corporate paper or ( 2 ) UCFS didnt care. Whether it is the former or the latter, this situation takes on the hue of complicity in a fraudulent activity. - The abundance of XXXX customer complaints and UCFSs willingness to accept assignment of my Installment Contract suggest UCFS was more interested being the beneficiary of a 17.99 % interest rate installment contract than declining to take assignment of / buying a contract from a Seller with questionable business practices. Based on the foregoing, we consider ourselves the victims of a joint fraud activity perpetrated by XXXX and their finance partner, UCFS. Corrective Action Required. - It is clear : misrepresentations were made, we are victims of fraud and we suffer loss. XXXX misrepresented their contractual obligations under their product warranty and Case Study Program. UCFS suffered a lapse in judgment accepting assignment of our contract with XXXX name as Seller after a preponderance of unfavorable XXXX commentary on the internet beginning nearly 2 years before UCFS accepted assignment of our Installment Contract. - It is incumbent on UCFS to : Rescind our installment contract returning all payments made - It is incumbent on XXXX to : Cooperate with UCFS in this fraud investigation Gain UCFSs approval to ( 1 ) rescind the installment contract rendering it null and void ( 2 ) return all payments we made under the installment contract and ( 3 ) authorize XXXX to arrange pick-up of the product with XXXX paying for all costs. Both parties have been put on notice, my bank has initiated a fraud investigation reclaiming 3 of the 6 payments made to UCFS, my bank auto debit has been deactivated and payments will no longer be made to UCFS. My counsel is investigating a cause of civil fraud against XXXX & UCFS. We look forward to a speedy resolution to this situation with UCFS and XXXX performing as required. Consumer Rights Violation The email response below is sent to me by UNITED CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES ( UCFS ) in response to questions I needed answers to address with an ongoing issue with XXXX XXXX XXXX. Prior to this email, I had a phone call conversation with a representative of UCFS. I asked the UCFS representative how can I file a dispute ( debt validation ) and report fraud. The accusations were discovered due to XXXX XXXX not handling my case correctly and UCFS handle the financing aspect of it. The UCFS representative stated that UCFS does not handle that that XXXX XXXX does. All I wanted to know was the why, who, how, was the of the debt. Or the complete accounting ledger of there presentments. The UCFS representative got really abusive over the phone and I asked her to slow her roll with the way she was speaking to me. I asked her to repeat what she just had stated to me and then again she used profane and abusive tactics. I said can you repeat yourself again, and conversation was over, she hung up the phone. After that conversation I was sent an email with my payment history and the contract I had signed with XXXX XXXXXXXX from UCFS for the alleged debt from XXXX XXXX Question is why did they send the information if the UCFS representative stated they dont handle that XXXX XXXX does. First of payment statements of the alleged debt are not debt validations. The email stated : Thank you for contacting United Consumer Financial Services ( UCFS ). In response to your inquiry, we are the finance company that financed the tax services provided by XXXX XXXX XXXX Our attempt to reach you by phone was unsuccessful. We have attached a copy of your retail installment agreement and a detailed payment history for your records. We apologize if our service did not meet your expectations, and we appreciate you taking time to share your concerns. Our goal is to provide an exemplary level of customer service. We take every customer concern seriously. We apologize for any inconvenience. For tax questions or concerns with the services provided, please contact XXXX XXXX XXXX directly at XXXX Please visit our website at www.ucfs.net to review your account information. I had asked XXXX XXXX for a debt validation for the alleged debt for the IRS and CONSERVE a 3rd party affiliate with the IRS ( These debt collectors had sent me alleged debt payments ). I wanted to know the origins of the bill that was asked for me to pay. I noticed ( IRS/ CONSERVE ) they were double dipping and probably committing FRAUD. I contracted XXXXXXXX XXXX and 3rd party finance company UCFS ( retail installment contract/ security agreement ) to handle my alleged debt with the IRS XXXX XXXX XXXX refused to send me the debt validation for the IRS and CONSERVE, so then I asked for a debt validation for their services to analyze why was I being charged that erroneous amount by XXXX XXXX I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and nothing got resolved except for fictious emails and phone calls to cover their fraudulent acts by XXXX and UNITED CONSUMER FINANCIAL SERVICES. I have tried to resolve this, but I have gotten nowhere with the documentation requested. I will explore every option within the UNITED STATES CODES, THE UNIFORM COMMERICAL CODES, and THE U.S CONSITITUTION. I never missed a payment with UCFS, I had only one late payment due to my banking account card being lost or hacked. I gave them a call and explained the situation, that it took 7 to 10 days to send me a new card and they still charged me a late fee charge. After I had advise them that I was looking for a validation of the alleged debt with XXXX XXXX they stopped charging my bank card through blue pay ; which I never issued a stopped payment through my bank ( why did they stop taking payments from me? ). Now I have been seeing negative remarks on my credit report. Which has hurt me with finding a place to purchase due to my credit score droppage for negative remarks on my account. I KNOW XXXX XXXX AND UCFS HAVE COMMITTED FRAUD AND HAVE VIOLATED MY CONSUMER RIGHTS ( ALONG WITH THE IRS AND CONSERVE ) ALL I WANTED WAS EVIDVIDENCE ON HOW I WAS SPENDING MY MONEY WITH XXXX XXXX BUT NOW THEY HAVE OPENED OTHER DOORS THAT HAVE TO BE INVESITGATED DUE TO THEIR DECEPTION. Disputing Information in Credit Report I am writing to dispute the following information that your company supplied to XXXX, XXXX and XXXX have all falsely reported the incorrect amount of this loan. I have attached a copy of the loan agreement. In the signed agreement there are two amounts one saying signed amount the other stating amount once all payments have been made and since all payments have not been made that amount can not be reported this is a false statement and is an illegal statement. I have reached out to the original creditor the animal upon purchase sold me a sick animal that lived only 3 months after purchase and died shortly after. After doing research I found that this company has several lawsuits for doing the same thing to several consumers for unfair practices and overselling sick animals. Originally the price as shown was XXXX now my credit report as shown is stating XXXX which is hurting my credit report tremendously. I have reached out to both parties with no resolution my next step is to seek legal counsel as I took the dog in they assured me the dog well and later died shortly after. Upon purchase the dog was sick nose was running she was sick and would not eat very fragile and thin. I took her to be revaluated they assured me she was fine and still the dog was not. Then when I took the dog to the vet she was not at all the breed they had her listed as so that was a lie the deceptive practices here are long.This company is reporting an amount that does not reflect the amount issued in the original loan agreement. This is my second attempt to have this matter resolved with this company and under the FCRA Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) If a consumer notifies a furnisher, at an address specified by the furnisher for such notices, that specific information is inaccurate, and the information is, in fact, inaccurate, the furnisher must thereafter report the correct information to CRAs. Section 623 ( a ) ( 1 ) ( B ) .If a consumer notifies a furnisher that the consumer disputes the completeness or accuracy of any information reported by the furnisher, the furnisher may not subsequently report that information to a CRA without providing notice of the dispute. none of this has been done and no steps have been taken by either party to resolve these issues. After I told them that I am now totally disabled they continue to call me from different phone numbers at all times of the day and night threatening me the lady even told me it was my fault and why did I buy anything I knew I was going to be XXXX as if I knew I was going to be XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Even then they continue to harass you and call you names. I'm speaking with a lawyer now to file a lawsuit for their practices.. Here are some of the online reviews and complaints against United Consumer Financial Services : Underwrites predatory loans on behalf of fraudulent businesses. Truly disgraceful support of the deceptive and abusive business practice. Neglectful in the duty of care. Lacks integrity to consumer rights. Reported UCFS to the CFPB. Avoid this bank at all costs. Got a predatory loan through them and it has been a fight for a straight year. Either they refuse to accept any form of payment towards your loan ( charging you late fees the entire time for their errors ), or they have an " error '' and triple charge your payment and drain you dry ( which was done 3 months in a row ). We were lied to and they are unwilling to work out any issues you have. They refuse to give us the debt relief federally mandated for military personnel, charging us a huge interest rate, 25 %, and they charge you a humongous fee to get a loan, over {$600.00}! These guys aren't a financial service, they are loan sharks.

On XX/XX/2019, I entered an agreement to participate in a case study with XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ), a company that makes machines that produce molecular-hydrogen-infused water. The agreement was as follows : in order to finance the machine I would agree to to take out a loan ( for {$12000.00} ) from United Consumer Financial Services ( UCFS ) ; and once I had the machine and was using it regularly, I would provide monthly testimonials, answer monthly questionnaires, and promote XXXX on social media, etc. In return, I would be compensated $ XXXX monthly. I received my monthly compensation check the first month. Since then I have not received any of the agreed upon monthly compensation, despite fulfilling my monthly requirements. I have contacted the company repeatedly about this issue. In response, they have decided to ignore my calls and emails. Eventually I was able to speak with one of the CEOs, XXXX XXXX. He reassured me that he would personally make sure that the checks should have sent to me, that they would be sent to me as soon as possible and that the reason I was not receiving the checks was because the company was having growth pains. It has now been several months, I have continued to try to resolve the issue fairly with them, but I have consistently been ignored -- and I have not received any checks. Moreover, since a few weeks ago, I no longer even have the molecular hydrogen machine! I returned it and expressly stated to XXXX that I will no longer participate in the case study, until a fair resolution can be agreed upon. I have not heard from XXXX. And it is very important to note that I am not the only one in the same situation. There are hundreds of others in the same situation, all of whom testify to the fact that trusii is failing to pay case study participants money it had promised. But please dont take my word for it : XXXX XXXX, a technology and health reporter of XXXX ( XXXX XXXX XXXX ) has written an article for XXXX exposing XXXX wrongdoings, where she notes how wide-spread the issue is : XXXX XXXX XXXX I have also tried reaching out to UCFS, and they have also chosen to offer no support to me nor all the other customers that are victims of trussis merchant fraud. This is in stark contrast to the reaction on the part of the lending companies XXXX XXXX and XXXX. XXXX has stopped doing business with XXXX many months ago. And XXXX is now suing XXXX in Florida. XXXX writes : XXXX claims that XXXX provided faulty systems to consumers and neglected to pay refunds and has ignored the lenders efforts to communicate with the company. XXXX XXXX, XXXX vice chairman, told XXXX that, under the XXXX XXXX, consumers are not economically responsible for merchant fraud and that the loan provider is doing what it can to protect and advocate for the consumer. Why then is UCFS trying to evade the issue altogether? Why is their reaction the total opposite of XXXX XXXX and XXXX reactions? Do they not have a responsibility to their customers, and to choose carefully which companies they choose to work with? Were they really not aware that XXXX XXXX, the CEO of XXXX, faces criminal charges, and is currently free on bail? And that he was arrested in XXXX on five criminal charges ( one for second-degree organized fraud and four for third degree grand theft? XXXX mentions this, and it is attested to by court records : XXXX XXXX XXXX? XXXX )

I purchased a XXXX XXXX from a person who showed up at my home. I regretted the purchase and the next day delivered my cancellation notice, according to the contract. The company, XXXX and XXXX or XXXX XXXX ( running under two names, Im not sure which is legit ) acknowledged receipt and we were told they would process the cancellation. They never did. According to contract after 10 days my deposit was to be returned, no return. After 20 days, according to contract, I could dispose of the product or keep it with no further obligation. After not hearing anything, on day 20 I contacted the finance company, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, and told them what happened. They confirmed I followed the steps. They finally got a hold of the company, after I contacted them. The company didnt process my cancellation. They disrespected my family and treated us horribly. They sent someone to my home at XXXX at XXXX with no phone call or anything and then they guy through a fit on my porch when I wouldnt answer the door to give him the product. The company didnt follow the contract and I was nice enough to alert the finance company. They had all the evidence and confirmed that to me we followed the contract. BUT thats when things changed. I told them I was no longer under obligation to give the vacuum back according to contract. XXXX XXXX XXXX then contacted me, told me they'd damage my credit if I didnt give it back. They accused me of lying after we supplied the evidence that we followed the contract. I read the contract and the lady, XXXX, told me she didnt care, she was going to hurt my credit. I did everything I was supposed to do and the finance company threatened me repeatedly, even though I followed the contract and XXXX XXXX XXXX didnt and even admitted they didnt. XXXX XXXX XXXX and the shady XXXX XXXX XXXX worked together to threaten me and my credit which could affect my employment. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is crooked and people should not do business with that company. I felt defenseless and backed in a corner with no help. I followed the contract stipulations and XXXX XXXX XXXX did not but XXXX didnt not care and threatened me. I told them if I didnt honor the contract they would hold me to it why were they not taking it up with XXXX for not obeying the contract? She said she didnt care, had nothing else to say to me and that was it, she was going to leave it on my credit. I dont have the time or ability to fight this although I can prove I followed the contract and they broke it. I finally scheduled a time for them to come pick the product up, over a month late after being threatened with my credit, although I had no obligation to since I followed the contract. XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is a bad company. I believe they work with this shady company to trap people and then threaten them. The company, XXXX XXXX XXXX, says their name is XXXX XXXX when all of their receipts and paperwork say XXXX. According to XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX has horrible reviews and shows that it is closed. Very shady business practices.

Upon further investigation, I have retained new copies of my credit reports and noticed that you did not furnish the credit bureaus with the required disclosure, within the period required by law. You are required by federal law to place a notice of dispute on my account within XXXX days of my dispute, which you signed for on the signature date. I have retained a copy of your signature and date of receipt, as well as time-stamped copies of my credit reports, showing that you have violated the Fair Credit Reporting Act, Section 623 ( a ) ( 3 ) by not placing the disclosure within the required 30-day period. Be aware that I am making a final goodwill attempt to have you clear up this matter. The listed item is entirely inaccurate and incomplete and represents a very serious error in your reporting. Additionally, you have broken federal law by not placing the notice of dispute onto my credit reports within the time required by law. Around XXXX of this year I was contacted by a XXXX representative after inquiring about a case study they were offering. During the discussion I was told by XXXX XXXX she also suffered the same XXXX I deal with ( XXXX ) and that the machine helped her tremendously. I said I was interested in the machine but could not afford the machince due to cost and she said I could finance it with one of there financing companies and they would cover the cost by sending me a monthly check each month for 36 months until the machine was paid for, I'd only have to pay {$5.00} dollars a month. I was excited and accepted the offer. I was contacted by UCFS ( United consumver financial services ) the following day and told everything was good to go on the loan, but before I accepted I email XXXX that and asked would I be paid for this casestudy and they email me back yes. I still have that email but my direct correspondance with XXXX via text message is gone since i have a new cell phone since then. The first 3/4 months I was paid with no problem and I followed all my case study requirements. Then I stopped recieving payments and I contacted them and said that I was in violoation of my terms. I replied no and had them verify that I did follow my instructions and then a few weeks later the asked for my XXXX information and said they would be paying me but it never happened. This was followed but a email detailing new case study requirements that i switched to and followed to the T but I was still never compensaded for. I reached out to them with many emails and calls, also text messages to XXXX and another lady who had recruited me initally but they did not respond either. I began to research and found out a few weeks ago the company was running this fake case study the whole time, it was a complete fraud. UCFS has not froze my account to do an investigation as of yet as well. I along with many other clients who have been tricked by this company lead by XXXX XXXX and XXXX XXXX are very sick people who are already struggling with medical bills and other expensenses associated with our various illnesses to have to deal with the mtaking advantage of sick people like this is cruel. I continue to send emails and leave voicemails with XXXX but they have not responded and when I specifically ask about the status of my payments they never reply, I even asked if they would buy the machine back and no response has been made as well. There were several exchanges when they would ask for my payment information then would never pay ... I appreciate your help in trying to reach them and get this resolved. On XX/XX/2019 I and another person signed a sales contract with XXXX XXXX company with the given understanding of our rights to cancel out the contract within 3 business days in which we did sign the cancellation form at the given time the cancellation form was given to us by the XXXX XXXX salesman which did the contract he gave us the cancellation form he also explained we sign it and turn it in if we wish to cancel within XX/XX/2019 after signing the contract we came to a agreement to cancel out so we both sign the cancellation form on XX/XX/2019 forwarded a copy to XXXX as told XXXX refuse to honor the cancellation as agreed to. We called United Consumers Finance and told them about the cancellation but they later reported to our credit bureaus as a open account with them though It was a cancellation. We disputed the accounts as inaccurate information even though we sent in a copy of the Contract we signed with XXXX and the Cancellation for which was given to us by XXXX Representative sign by him and by us to all 3 credit bureaus XXXX, XXXX and XXXX still allow false reports damage our credit standings they said that if United consumers Finance tell them to keep it on our credit they has to do it. XXXX was rather rude they allowed one of us to file another dispute and rudely deprived the other person of their equal right to file another dispute as well We was told by a letter sent to us by United Consumer Finance that they will report to all 4 credit bureaus on us and that this will damage our credit that in the future we will not be able to use our credit to purchase a car or home we feel our rights and credit standings as citizen has been violated illegally very awfully by all 3 Credit Bureaus as well as United Consumer Finance company. We feel discriminated against also United Consumer Finance has reported on our credit report as good standing as if we were paying them which we never gave them a dime we told all 3 credit bureaus that they were reporting lies on our account but they still went along with them and did not take fair action. 3 credit bureaus supported United in their wrong doing and they still is at this point. So as far as we are concern XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX is no good to us as Citizens when it comes to justice and fairness What do they Care? Every dispute investigation The credit bureaus updated {$1700.00}. to be accurate in debt to United Consumer Finance reguardless of our documented proof but because United Consumer Finance tell them to leave it on our credit reports they do it XXXX!!! Yes we are seeking help to protect our rights because Credit Bureaus sure don't Wow they team up against you with the bad guys so consumers beware!!!! I would not wish this on my worst enemy

In XX/XX/2019, I purchased a XXXX molecular hydrogen water machine from XXXX XXXX as I was approved to be member of a case study which they failed to honor ( not my main concern ). My concern is when I learned that the machine wasn't performing at advertized specifications of 6ppm of molecular hydrogen verses the 1.5ppm as I tested personally with a titration technique. I contacted them with no reply for weeks. The device, also began later to emit a foul order which is indicative of mold. I contacted the company again and the CEO XXXX XXXX answered, he basically wasn't concerned and told me I'm wrong. I'm a XXXX XXXX for the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, I'm well aware of how to maintain a water system and how to conduct a titration method to determine levels of an analyte. The system isn't safe. XXXX promised that quarterly service would be conducted which is completely false as well as I've learned from a social media group that I've recently joined. No filter replacements nor UV lamps are offered through the company website, which no water filtration system can be viable long-term without either replacements. I'm well aware numerous others have filed a complaint against XXXX or UCFS through this office so I'm basically following suit. I'm requesting XXXX accept a return of the XXXX XXXX system and return the loan they brokered through United Consumer Financial Services. I received a letter however from the lender today date XX/XX/XXXX instructing me to not attempt a return of the device to the manufacture ( XXXX ) as this well not relieve me of the financial obligations. I don't understand why I can't return the machine and attempt to have XXXX return the borrowed amount. The reason I'm reaching out requesting assistance is, I do not have the financial means to absorb a XXXX dollar loss of a machine that is probably refurbished ( not new as advertised which explains how it became moldy in less than 90 days of possessing it ). If the device was under {$500.00} then I wouldn't expend the energy but I'm responsible for a loan of XXXX, that XXXX arranged for a poorly made machine. I greatly appreciate the assistance of this office. I'm understandably upset with UCFS the lender, I've never encountered such a situation. If they wish to take possession of this non-functional machine, I'll gladly pursue that option but I don't wish to make payments on a device that isn't functional. XXXX 2013 two men came to my door to demo a XXXX XXXX. I ended up getting financed through United Consumer Finance Services ( UCFS ) XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, Ohio XXXX. At that time the XXXX men did n't have all the items to the sweeper because they said they sold all of them and all they had was the demo one which was still new but they said they would bring me the rest the nest day. Which the items were the shampooer and hoses/attachments. So the next day I try calling and texting the seller with no response and kept trying everyday for about a week then he texted back and told me sorry that he was fired and I would have to call XXXX to get the items which I did but they ended up telling I had to pay for the all the items which really was upsetting. I got them the name and number to the guy that sold me the sweeper and text messages of me not getting the items. UCFS went on lying saying they called me several times and I told them i was completely satisfied which was not the case i tried telling the guy from UCFS that i never said and went on to tell him about the very rude lady that works for him and he just did not listen or work with me. Its not fair to pay for something that was returned first off nor is it fair to suffer credit wise because of XXXX companies! The sales representative stated multiple times that I would not pay any interest if the loan was paid off within one year. I asked for confirmation of what the one year date would be, and he pointed to the first payment date. XXXX payments of {$39.00} have been made as of XX/XX/2017. I became worried after checking my credit report and seeing the full amount with interest was reporting. After logging into my UCFS account and viewing the payoff amount, I realized that the payoff did in fact include a very high amount of interest. The payoff was {$920.00} and good through XX/XX/2017. The original loan amount was {$1000.00}. XXXX payments of XXXX without interest should have shown a payoff of {$800.00}. I emailed UCFS with these same details, and asked for a resolution of an agreed upon payoff amount of {$800.00} due to the multiple verbal promises I received that turned out to be a lie. A lady by the name of XXXX called me in response, and simply stated that unless I could supply written proof, that they would not do anything about it. I would agree that it would appear that I am bound by the agreement I signed, if it were not for the deceptive practices this company and their affiliates practice. It does not take long to piece together information regarding this company and its affiliates showing a pattern of deceptive practices that affect a large amount of consumers. UCFS is under the impression that it is legal to say whatever you want to get the consumer to sign, and that you are " home free and clear '' once that is done. Furthermore, I attempted to pay the full {$920.00} by debit card and by bank draft via their website, and I received an error of incorrect CVV code and incorrect payment amount respectively. The CVV code was correct, and the payment amount was taken directly from their payoff information.

United Consumer Financial is reporting inconsistent and erroneous information across the credit reporting Bureaus. I have disputed this account and provided them with documentation to notify them that my personal information has been mixed with someone else 's according to the credit bureaus. I notified this company that the debt they're reporting to my credit reports is unknown to me. And I sent several written requests for debt validation and verification. The rep I spoke with from their company admitted my information didn't match the collection account information however this company will still reporting this unverified and unknown account. Furthermore you have failed to provide the method of verification as required under Section 611 ( a ) ( 7 ). XXXX XXXX, Resolution Officer, informed by in a phone conversation that their business could settle between $ XXXX, and have been successful with their resolutions in the past. When I signed on they asked for {$250.00} for the filing fees and told me that I would have to sign more documents, power of attorney so that they could work on my case # XXXX. And that they could get started as soon as I pay them their fees in full. I had to take out a personal loan with United Consumer in the sum of {$5300.00}, and have made 5 payments of {$740.00}, and still owe {$4600.00} until it is paid off, but they did get their money from the loan already. I had to keep contacting them via emails and phone calls, because they were inconsistent about my case and what I have to do next. I finally started to reach out to them in XXXX and in XXXX. They told me to send in my financial and expenses documents, which I provided back in XXXX. I finally got a letter from the Internal Revenue Service on XX/XX/XXXX, stating that I was set for an installment agreement payment, IN FULL until it was paid off, year XXXX. I am a natural consumer. I am protected by the consumer laws. Over the past 6 years, I have continuously disputed this account with the credit bureaus and the company itself. This account does not belong to me and over the years it has been reporting differently across the credit bureaus.I want it removed immediately from all consumer reporting agencies. My complaint against UCFS is they are refusing to freeze loans or offer loan forgiveness to people who are invloved in the case study for the XXXX XXXX dispensers. This lender does not consider consumer rights. UCFS did not do their due diligence in determining that these dispensers are extremely unstable, or tested properly and do not last the life of the loan. Filters are required which were never stated to be required causing health hazards ( mold poisoning ). They are not available nor mentioned in the manual. The product is falsely advertised to produce 5-9ppm hydrogen for the Elite X machine, when in fact in produces only 2pm h2. I question whether UCFS knew that one of the of the owners of XXXX has fraud charges pending against him in another business. These machines are nothing more than malfunctioning water coolers and they were never tested properly in the US. There is no recourse from XXXX. An article from XXXX describing XXXX 's ponzi scam case study of these H2 machines explain that participants are not being compensated for the loan payments due every month to UCFS. My account has been in a dispute queue since XX/XX/2019. The company continues to have me make payments of a falsely advertised product that is a Ponzi scheme. The product is from XXXX ; who makes a molecular hydrogen machine that does not produce as advertised. It also requires filters to be changed every 9-12 months that was never mentioned when purchasing. This is a health hazard. I demand to not be charged for this product that I am not even using anymore due to health concern that may arise. UCFS clearly did not do their due diligence when taking over the loan. They are just as responsible for this machine as XXXX. I especially should not be making payments while in a dispute process. Multiple loan companies have forgiven loans for this product because of the reasons mentioned above. I was coerced into buying a XXXX vacuum by the owner of the XXXX WI company XXXX XXXX, the salesman ( my boyfriend ) and his manager on XXXX/XXXX/15. They told me they wanted to make quota for the week and that they could resell the equipment and pay it off before monthly payments started up. Creditors or collectors are not allowed to report inaccurate information to your credit reports, and under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, you have a right to have it removed. To do so, you can start a dispute with each one of the credit bureaus, XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. Purchased a XXXX vacuum system billed through XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. I had missed a payment over a year ago and the company started attaching late fees to my account every month because I did not date my payment for the due date ( I had paid multiple payments BEFORE the required due date and in many case paid a few dollars more. ) I have all bank statements that show a payment every month. Every time I attempted to speak with customer service I was told there is nothing they could do to stop the late fee from becoming so high and continue to add fees even though I pay my monthly due amount. They had a process to fill out their application. the first was to get my personal information and signed up for financing with their finance company. they were to send me more forms and I had ten days to return the forms. I took out this loan based on the guarantee that I received payment from XXXX to reimburse me for my participation in their case study. I have continuously disputed this account with the credit bureaus and the company itself. Originally was a door to door salesman offering a home care system for {$1700.00}. Once I received my first invoice the price was almost at {$3000.00}. They said I had a 30 day time period to return which I called and spoke to a manager about refunding the product and canceling the agreement since it was within 7 days of purchase but no one would pick up the product or answer my phone calls for returning. I contacted United Consumer Finance Service when I noticed that they were reporting that we owed a balance of XXXX on an account that was never late and paid off in 2017. I was able to speak with a representative ( XXXX ext XXXX ) and she stated that they never ran the final payment, however no one notified us. I paid the XXXX and was advised that they would submit the documentation to remove from the credit report. That was over a month ago and every time I call to follow-up she is either not at work or not available. United Consumer Financial has changed the reporting status of an account included in my Chapter XXXX from discharged to charge-off.
