In XXXX, I was scammed into signing a car loan agreement. At the end of XXXX, I received a letter from a debt collector saying we are trying to collect a debt you owe to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX We will use any information you give us to help collect debt. So I called them and talked to them. Then in XXXX a deputy came to my address and served me and I had to file with the clerk of the state court and serve the plaintiff 's attorney. I was served on XX/XX/XXXX. So I reported my identity theft to the police and even went to the DMV 's website to see if there was a car in my name. My MVR report shows me that there is no car or driving history in the state of Georgia in my name. And I updated the debt collector to let them know and the debt collector told me I would still have to sign the writ of possession.
