I am currently under contract with a date to close of XXXX XX/XX/2021. I have already had a preapproval and all other overlays or requirements taken care of with significant documentation provided to get a clear to close. Realizing that the appraiser may not make it out in time to do the secondary appraisal after all required items were fixed, we had filed for an extension until XX/XX/XXXX. As my realtor sends the signed document to the loan officer, it has come to our attention that the loan officer and her entire team had been fired without any notice to any veterans that were working with this loan officer and their team. This information was discovered on XXXX the XXXX. After 24 hours had elapsed from this information, I received a denial of credit based upon false pretenses considering I had already been pre-approved without adding any additional obligations to my credit or debt to income ratio while I was looking for a home or under contract. I had reached out to the loan officer that was working on my file to look for answers. The loan officer alerted me that the company had denied my loan based on the pretenses of her separation of employment with this company. With the additional information that I am not the only veteran that this has happened to since her departure.

I have a VA loan that was originated by Ross Mortgage Corporation in XX/XX/2018 and sold to XXXX.
I requested a VA funding fee refund XX/XX/XXXX, was granted the request and the refund was processed by the VA.
The VA confirmed that they sent a funding fee refund check to the originator of my loan, Ross Mortgage to be forwarded to the services of my loan and applied to my mortgage as a principal reduction.
Ross Mortgage has not forwarded that {$6600.00} check to XXXX to be applied to my mortgage despite having it for nearly two months.
