In an effort to clear up info related to complaint : XXXX, I wish to be clear that out issue is with subprime lender XXXX XXXX and not XXXX XXXX - which is whom sought the loan for us. To recap, my wife XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX and I are being sued for approximately {$50.00} on a predatory loan from the summer of XXXX. We are both of working class means and a judgement on their behalf would be financially devastating and would likely end with bankruptcy. Another point to consider is that we were offered and accepted, a XXXX for XXXX program in late XXXX - early XXXX, which we completed under the agreement that we would vacate the residence with the understanding that we would not longer be responsible for any related forthcoming debt ( on the property / mortgage ). Furthermore, the name of the bank and the amount keeps changing XXXX from XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX was one of the major drivers of the collateralized debt obligation ( CDO ) market during the housing credit bubble from XXXX to XXXX, creating about {$32.00} XXXX worth. The XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX report on XXXX XXXX and the Financial Crisis analyzed XXXX XXXX as a case study of investment banking involvement in the mortgage bubble, CDO market, credit crunch, and recession. It concluded that even as the market was collapsing in XXXX, and its top global CDO trader was deriding the CDO market and betting against some of the mortgage bonds in its CDOs, XXXX XXXX continued to churn out bad CDO products to investors. Any assistance and/or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, XXXX and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX
