In XXXX XXXX sold my leased vehicle from XXXX leasing to XXXX. I leased this car for almost 2 years from XXXX until XXXX and no one told us that we would be paying {$290.00} per week, every week for almost 2 years and that is almost {$1200.00} per month for a leased vehicle that no longer had warranties on after the decided to sell the cars to XXXX. The only reason I leased this automobile is because we were guaranteed the entire time we had the leased vehicle we would have a full warranty with no mileage caps. XXXX never informed us by mail or writing that we would be dropping the warranty. One day, I was having issues with the leased vehicle and took it to my mechanical and was told by him that the warranty had expired on this car. I called XXXX and spoke to them and asked them and they stated that they were going to send a letter to all the drivers letting them know that once XXXX purchased the debt, the cars no longer had warranties on them. I explained to XXXX that they should have let us know this early so that we could have made plans to find other transportation because we were already paying ridiculous amounts for these leases anyways. So, I informed XXXX that I no longer wanted a car that I needed to pay a additional warranty for after paying over {$1200.00} per month or more for almost two years not to include ride share insurance of {$300.00} per month. They came and got the car and I never got anything else from this XXXX company so I had no idea that they would be charging me for anything because they picked the car up with no issues. A couple of weeks ago, I started getting collection letters, in which i thought was a scam from a company that didn't Identify this was for Fair, a old lease, they just said that I owed them. I had no idea who this company was and I just wondered why no one ever told me over 4 years ago I had a balance owed, in which I know that I didn't because you could not go past due on Fair leases more than 2 weeks or they would come and pick up your car. I paid over {$18000.00} for this leased vehicle the 2 years I had the automobile and a deposit and couldn't understand why I had to pay {$6900.00} when I paid a {$1000.00} deposit to even get the lease. I never got a bill from anyone and never knew that I owed anything. I had the lease for over 2 year and paid a {$1200.00} per month or more for the car and was in good standing. I paid {$290.00} per week out of each XXXX check and I paid it directly to XXXX at first, however I started paying directly to XXXX XXXX after XXXX stated that they would no longer be taking the {$250.00} out and we would need to pay directly to XXXX. I don't understand how they can put this on my credit report after no contact, no bills, no calls, until a couple of weeks ago. The letter didn't show the original owner of the debt either and I thought this was a scam. My contract was month to month and was informed that I could return the car at any time if I kept the lease for 6 months or more I would not be penalized. I kept the car in excellent condition. All my payment reports were on the XXXX leasing website and I only have what XXXX use to take out before we started paying directly to XXXX. This companies collection method if slanderous to my character and lowering my credit score because of the inaccuracy. The letter came from a company called XXXX collecting for Rock Creek Capital. I have attached a statement showing the amount that was paid directly through XXXX, however XXXX leasing payments started going directly through them and because they are no longer is existance, I have no record of those transactions.

On XX/XX/XXXX I received an alert from XXXX XXXX XXXX that I had a change to my credit file that caused an immediate XXXX point drop in my credit score. A collection company by the name of XXXX XXXX XXXX had listed a debt of {$660.00} on my report. I have never been contacted by XXXX nor received any correspondence from XXXX prior to that day -- I immediately opened a fraud case with XXXX and called XXXX and was told that they represented a company by the name of Rock Creek Capital -- I had NEVER heard of this company and NEVER did business with nor ever received any correspondence from. XXXX told me that Rock Creek Capital bought XXXX XXXX ( XXXX XXXX ) which was an XXXX company. I knew this was not true as XXXX bought XXXX XXXX. I leased a car in XXXX through the XXXX XXXX XXXX program which was then sold to XXXX -- I never missed a payment, and was NEVER late and finished my entire lease term and returned the car to XXXX in XXXX and received my deposit back -- I have EXCELLENT credit with XXXX and never received any correspondence from XXXX that I had any outstanding debt -- I have bank statements showing my returned deposit at the end of my lease term. XXXX is fraudulently going after former XXXX drivers who leased cars through the XXXX XXXX Program which became XXXX because both XXXX and XXXX are now out of business and thir contact numbers are out of service. There is no way to contact them to confirm that the debt is not owed because both companies are out of business -- When I asked an XXXX representative for the contact information for Rock Creek Capital, I was told " we don't have any contact information. '' I told them by law they needed to provide me with the contact information of the original creditor and they said they do not. I've never done business with Rock Creek Capital and do NOT owe this debt. My credit went from Excellent down to Good. XXXX is the only collections account on an otherwside stellar credit history and I have spoken to at least XXXX former drivers for XXXX who leased cars through the XXXX XXXX XXXX and all had excellent credit and had this same thing happen within the past 6 months. My lease ended in XXXX, I paid off the car and had no issues -- why would a company wait until XXXX to collect on a debt they claim I owed? I even continued business with XXXX after I turned in my first car ( I did two short term leases of other cars -- if I had an outstanding debt on my origianl lease why would this company have continued to do business with me? I tried to contact XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, but because they closed their leasing deaprtment in XXXX, all of their contact numbers are disconnected ( that fact that XXXX and XXXX can not be contacted is a major win for XXXX because there is no way for us to get documentation that refutes their claims ). XXXX leasing closed and was sold to XXXX in XXXX, and XXXX operated until XX/XX/XXXX and then closed -- it is my belief that XXXX bought a public information record of people who leased cars through the XXXX XXXX leasing program/XXXX and are targeting us in hopes that some will pay a debt they do not owe. This needs to be investigated and XXXX needs to be prosecuted!

I have been registered at my previous address and at this address, I have not changed my phone number, I have not changed my name I have not changed any other identifying information and no debt of any sort has ever been communicated to me by either XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, or Rock Creek capital LLC I was notified by XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX regarding an alleged debt. I have reason to believe I do not owe this debt because I have never been contacted in any form by Rock Creek Capital , LLC ; I verified my account in good standing before closing the account is XXXX XXXX ; I verified my account in good standing after closing the account is XXXX XXXX, I have never been contacted in any way by XXXX XXXX since closing the account ; I verified that I did not infract any clause within the lease agreement before and after returning the vehicle, and I have I had no collections activity reported on any of my credit reports since the account was verified closed in good standing in XX/XX/XXXX. So the debt collection agency, XXXX, is attempting to comply with or appear that they are complying with the federal statute, but they are representing a company that has never contacted me, has never appeared on my credit report, and can not be called, and I have never been informed of any debt with the original Creditor/Leader " XXXX XXXX XXXX '', which was bought by XXXX, and XXXX is now out of business and unable to be contacted and you can no longer access any of their customer accounts, and I have never been informed of a transfer of debt or an existence of debt with any of the aforementioned companies, except the attempt at collections by XXXX. I have records of all the communication, all of the transactions from the original lease, all of the communications between me and the debt collector have been written and recorded. So, I am asking to file this complaint against XXXX who I believe is representing either a company or a debt or both falsely, or that they simply do not exist. They have never mailed me sufficient proof of this alleged debt only a list of charges that make no sense with what they are claiming. XXXX XXXX XXXX were highly publicized in the media that they could be returned after 30 days with no penalty other than the {$250.00} deposit taken initially. RPM is claiming that the leases of this program were returned early. I had the car for well over the 30 day period.

This complaint is for Rock Creek Capital , LLC, and XXXX : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. In XXXX I returned a vehicle that I was leasing for ride sharing purposes, that was originally leased under XXXX XXXX XXXX, whom later closed down operations and was transferred and sold to a company called XXXX. The leased vehicle was returned to XXXX according to the contract, not violating anything on the contract and was retuned in good condition and per the representative from XXXX XXXX, I had no balance owed. I have never changed my mailing address or email. I have not changed any information in regards to my name or identity but yet there has never been any debt communicated to me by any of the parties : XXXX XXXX, XXXX, or XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. that there was any deficient balance or any balance owed. I do remember, even though this was almost 4 years ago, after I returned the vehicle, calling the leasing company to confirm that I had no other balance owed and they confirmed over the phone that it was in fact correct, everything was in good standing and I closed the account. I verified and confirmed with them that I did not infract any clause within the lease agreement before and after returning the vehicle in XX/XX/XXXX. I have had no collections or debt reported on any of my credit reports since I returned the vehicle in XXXX. I have never been contacted by any parties above in regards to any money owed since closing the account until almost 4 years later, on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX is the first ever debt collection I received from XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I mailed a demand letter for detailed information about this debt via certified mail in which they received on XX/XX/XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I received a response from XXXX which complies with 15 U.S.C. 1692g, and includes the name and address of the original creditor XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX Tx. XXXX. In addition, the phone number : XXXX is not a reachable number, it goes directly to voicemail with no other options. It seems, XXXX is trying to comply with the federal statue but they are representing a company that has never reached out to me, has never reported anything on my credit report and can not be reached when called. I have never been informed of any debt from either XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX who later bought them out and is now also out of business. Since XXXX is out of business I have no way contacting them to get access to my customer account. Like I've said, I have never been informed of a transfer of debt with any of the above companies except the one notice I received XXXX almost 4 years after the vehicle was returned. I do have the recent communications between myself and the debt collector such as the letter they sent on XXXX, my response on XXXX and their response on XXXX. I am filing this complaint agains XXXX who is representing a company or a debt or both falsely, or that they simply do not exist.

I contacted XXXX at XXXX a number thats located on their website at XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX said they do not have my records and that XXXX XXXX XXXX bought the company and I should contact them. I received a letter from a credit collection agency that calls itself XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX or XXXX, on XX/XX/XXXX stating that I owe a debt of {$470.00} on a debt to Rock Creek Capital , LLC for a leased XXXX XXXX that I turned back over in good standing in XXXX of XXXX. I immediately responded with a letter stating that I dispute this debt. On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a response form XXXX stating that I do owe them the debt for Rent Past Due, Sales Expense, and a Lease Termination Charge. Their letter also states that they do not have to respond to any other inquiries, requests for additional information or challenges to their claim. The lease in question was on a XXXX XXXX XXXX which I leased on a weekly basis from a company named XXXX XXXX, which was affiliated with XXXX. The purpose of this lease was to drive for XXXX. During my lease, XXXX XXXX was bought out by XXXX, which from what I understand went out of business after I terminated my lease and their remaining business was bought out by Rock Creek Capital LLC. I leased this car from XX/XX/XXXX through XX/XX/XXXX. The weekly lease payments were taken directly out of my XXXX earnings each week before I could even touch any of my earnings. I never missed a payment. When I terminated my lease, I called XXXX XXXX and they scheduled a pickup of my leased XXXX from my driveway. I was instructed to leave the keys in the XXXX and they would come pick it up on Monday, XX/XX/XXXX, which is exactly what happened. When I spoke to them on the phone, they told me that the final payment would be taken directly from my earnings as they always have up to and including the XXXX, and that there would be no additional charges. Everything went exactly as they described and I never heard from them again. The XXXX was in excellent condition when returned and nobody has reached out to me in 3 years to suggest otherwise. I have lived in the XXXX area, with an up to date legal address, the same phone number and email address as I had in XXXX and have never been contacted by XXXX XXXX, XXXX, XXXX, Rock Creek Capital, XXXX XXXX XXXX or any associated companies or individuals ever claiming or suggesting that I may owe any outstanding balances from my auto lease. Now, 42 months later, Im receiving letters from a debt collector which claims that I owe money to a company which has changed hands several times and I cant help but feel like they were just hoping I failed to respond to get a default judgement against me. I looked up this exact scenario online and saw that numerous other former XXXX drivers who leased through XXXX XXXX are now receiving similar letters beginning in XXXX, which I think deserves being looked into.

I am writing in regards to collection notices coming from a company called performance XXXX XXXX I have recieved the last 6 months for a company named rockcreek capital llc that neither were on my credit report until somehow rock creek obtained my info and appeared on my experience report. I asked them to cease and desist in XXXX and XXXX. Made complaint about XXXX and XXXX. XXXX stated neither would contact me I request they update info over a XXXX dollar debt they claim I owed for rental towing charges. I never recieved any notices from fair, uber or xchange leasing over sales of any balances. Rock creek purchased files from a banrupt fair leasing in XXXX. Fair went under in XXXX and went through some process. Fair aquatics still exists. Fair purchased exchange from XXXX in XXXX. In XX/XX/XXXX my account for a weekly XXXX was returned and closed out. Those leased you could return recive XXXX dollar deposit back if was pickup up or auction you loose deposit. Nothing ever appeared on my credit report for either. XXXX nor rockcreek can produce a signed dealer ship contract or lice copy or recored or even telephone toecor auction company they basically created a bogus invoice XXXX with XXXX dollars in rental toeing storage charges somehow inflated to XXXX dollars with interest. Rockcreek is cresting fraudulent invoices using rom to try and demand.credit card payments which you can not only via check or money order for debt. Also I will seek local attorney General complain for XXXX XXXX and rpm as well as anit trust complaints forcuber. Also separate complaints to fair and rock creek and rpm I had to put a fraud alert on my credit files for rock creek showing up on my experience file XX/XX/XXXX. I want them removed as this makes harder to rent or seek better ooan options. Even the report is wrong snd not reporting to XXXX transactions. Or XXXX XXXX. I will seek ma court complaint for damages. Rpm contacted numbers and relatives with out permission or knowledge and conducted skip tracing activities. Also they have not sent anything with my signature Dib or social. Not sure how rockcreek appeared on credit file 9 months later and after receiving cease desist.

To complaint XXXX, RPM General counsel XXXX XXXX wrote `` Upon receipt of this complaint, RPM contact Rock Creek Capital , LLC, the current owner of the debt. Rock Creek advised a credit in the amount of {$3700.00} had been credited to the account. There remains a balance of {$120.00}. XXXX XXXX may contact RPM to resolve the remaining balance. XXXX XXXX General Counsel '' The response does not provide any context or evidence about the remaining debt, which is still unsubstantiated and does not match anything listed on any of the paperwork from the company that has ever been provided to me, nor is there any offer to send a receipt or explanation of the remaining balance. Clearly I will have to make another request to the attorney general 's office, another cfpb complaint and another certified mail. They have not provided any context or evidence or receipt or explanation of why there would be a remaining balance at all, and the remaining balance does not match any other provided figure in any of the documentation that the company has ever provided, not that there has ever been any communication about any debt ever either by Rock Creek capital or by XXXX. This is clearly a farce. They need to absolve the debt entirely, immediately. Please note that the address provided by RPM clearly has a typo in the name of the city, they listed XXXX XXXX, the correct name of the city is XXXX XXXX Please note that this address is also simply a virtual or fake because it is also listed for https : //www.bellapsych.com/contact-psychiatrist-bella-living.html in XXXX XXXX Also note that in the documentation provided by rpm, the name of the creditor is either erroneous or has a typo, as it is listed as " XXXX Rock Creek Capital, '', which is not even the name of the creditor that they claim to have the debt in, which does not even have an actual office and the office is actually occupied by a completely different and unrelated company. Again, this is so obviously a farce.

XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX ( which owns Rock Creek Capital , LLC ) is trying to collect a phantom debt from former XXXX XXXX lessee 's that have returned their vehicles years ago and satisfied any remaining amounts owed. XXXX has not provided any record of missed payments or any of the other bogus charges they are claiming. I have been the victim of robo- calling and harassment with threats to my credit score for a debt I do not owe. I am one of many people and this has to stop the FTC and XXXX needs to put this company to an end of its bad practices because it's an abuse of people who have paid their bills. Amount disputed {$360.00} My weekly payments had to be paid otherwise XXXX XXXX would not have collected the vehicle and they took my {$250.00} deposit per the XXXX XXXX leasing agreement, my business with XXXX XXXX XXXX was satisfied 3 years ago. I do not owe anything to either of these scammer organizations and anything else is phantom debt. This should be a class action lawsuit at this point. My attached document is further proof that the alleged charges are false because they do not align with XXXX XXXX Lease agreement. Also Stated in my contract in Section 9 is that this is a lease that could be terminated early for the fee of the deposit {$250.00}. This was highly marketed in the media outlets. See Below from the XXXX XXXX for example : https : XXXX " According to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX head of Vehicle Solutions , drivers pay a security deposit of {$250.00}. Unlike with traditional auto leases, theyre not locked into multiyear contracts. If a driver decides to terminate the lease early, he or she forfeits the {$250.00} deposit, with no other penalties. '' How could owe any additional fees ( early termination and sales fees? ) that this company has listed but not verified? The answer is I clearly do not. Please discharge and remove. Stop this company from hurting innocent people.

I have a vehicle that was originally leased thru XXXX XXXXXXXX XXXX then it changed hands to XXXX XXXX and then apparently changed hands to XXXX XXXX XXXX i had no clue it happened until my vehicle was repossessed without contacting me about any arrangements for the car i reach out to XXXX and they tell me they will release my car to me if sign an agreement to pay them XXXX a month for a total of about XXXX dollars and they will release the title to me i spoke with XXXX XXXX the president of the company and i told him i dont believe i owe this much on the vehicle and was told that we can have a discussion but they where having an issue with covid and just wanted me to sign something so they could release the vehicle to me so i did it because i needed my car back so i had very little contact with them and never had an opportunity to figure out what was truly owed fir the vehicle and now the car is a total loss due to flood and i can not reach XXXX at all no one is responding to emails or phone calls i haven't heard from them since XXXX of XXXX and only made a payment of XXXX to them i stopped making payments because i thought i was being scammed because i could not contact them i couldn't reach out to the previous lienholder because the company no longer exists ive done some research and found that XXXX XXXX is also employed by rock creek capital and other XXXX leases were in fact reporting debts owed for vehicles that were already returned so i have absolutely no idea how i can get the title for this vehicle my insurance cant do anything without it ive had this car since XXXX and have been through so much trying to get the title and i have no clue what to do now

I participated in the XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX by leasing a XXXX XXXX back in XXXX. The XXXX XXXX XXXX was then sold to XXXX in XXXX and I returned the leased vehicle to XXXX in XXXX of XXXX. I never received any notifications from XXXX regarding any outstanding amounts that were owed on the lease. More than 2 years after I returned the vehicle, the portfolio was again sold to Rock Creek Capital , LLC. Rock Creek apparently decided that I still owed {$400.00} on the lease ; however, I never received any correspondence from them regarding this amount. The balance was then apparently forwarded to XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX. Again, I never received any phone calls or correspondence from XXXX regarding the " amount owed '' and then I received a negative mark on my credit report due to this balance. I would like this negative remark removed from my credit report. I never received any emails from them either ( I confirmed they had a correct email ). I contacted XXXX to remove the negative mark and they refused because they claimed they had attempted to contact me. However, they had outdated address information due to the lease portfolio being from nearly 3 years ago. I even have a friend still living at my old address who confirmed they never sent me any notices. They had my SSN so I am 100 % confident XXXX could've obtained my correct address and contact information if any effort was put into that at all. This is a predatory company working with another predatory company. I would like to request again, through this complaint, that the negative mark be removed from my credit report.

I worked for XXXX, I leased a car from them in XXXX. The arrangement was that I could keep the car and at the end of the lease term, buy the car or return it. XXXX is an XXXX XXXX program and each week you were allowed to receive your earnings by cashing out XXXX took their money for the lease payment off the top. Therefore I was never unable to pay my account. If I didnt work for a week, they took it out of the next week. I could not receive my money until they had theirs. Im XXXX, I stopped working for them, purchased a truck and called XXXX about returning their car. I was told to remove my possessions and tell them where the car was located and they would come pick it up. Now XXXX years later this company is stating I owe money for cleaning and towing of the car, and for past due payments. I called the company and asked them to provide proof, they didnt do anything. XXXX months later they reported it to collections and somehow the dispute was verifiedhow? No one provide me with any information at all, even the credit bureau. I did my own research and the title trust they are saying is the original creditor is no longer even in business. It seems to me people are making these last ditch efforts to squeeze money out of people because they lost so much during Covid. Not my fault, not my problem. This is absolutely not a verifiable debt and I cant believe you can just put things in peoples credit reports with out penalties when they are lying.

Rock Creek Capital LLC. Is practicing predatory and fraudulent collections practices. They have enlisted Receivables Performance Management RPM to collect an erroneous and fraudulent debt that they have added to my credit report without any attempt to notify me of the fraudulent debt. Nor has either company given me a chance to dispute this debt. In addition, they have not provided any valid proof to substantiate their abusive and malicious tactic to try and destroy my credit. They have not provided any dates for which the debt occurred ; nor any type of agreement or authorization of such debt. Where is my signature? What is this for? When did it occur? They added this collection to my Credit Reports at the end of XXXX. This has harmed my business as I was in the process of acquiring a loan to expand my business. I will not qualify with this erroneous collection on my record. They are in direct violation of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ( or FDCPA ) and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ( or FCRA ) so I will be filling a complaint and will be seeking financial restitution for the credit harm this company has imposed on me and my financial well-being.

I leased a car in 2016 and paid for 3 years through XXXX and XXXX partner company xchange leasing. All the payments for the lease were made automatically through my XXXX earnings. I leased the veichle for 3 years and made every single payment. A company called Rock Creek Capital , LLC and XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX is claiming there is a balance owed from that lease, this is a false statement and incorrect. The company claimed that I canceled my lease early and there are fees but that is also false. I attached a screenshot of the terms of the lease from xchange leasing. As stated I paid all payments automatically through XXXX. When I returned the Veichle the leasing company informed me that I do not owe anything. This is some type of false debt. I spoke to the company after receiving the letter, they asked for proof that i owed this money and they never responded to me and never sent any proof. This needs to be resolved as its inaccurate information.

Hello I received a collections filing on my credit report from rock creek capital. It was dated XX/XX/XXXX and I never received any letter about this debt or who the collection agency acquired this debt from. I believe it was supposedly on a company called x change leasing which leases cars and the car was taken back them and I never had the car for ownership purposes or making payment to own.
