On XX/XX/2018 the HR representative at my workplace notified me they received an employment verification request from a representative at RNNGroup. On the form they submitted to my company 's HR department they had the correct last four digits of my social security number. They also had the correct work location and correct email address for my work location 's HR representative. They asked my employer to verify I was employed with them, if I was part time, full time or seasonal and for them to confirm the company name and address. At no point did RNNGroup say this was in regards to a debt, but when I went on to their website, it certainly looks like a debt collection business - even though they don't say they are a debt collection company. When I spoke to the representative from RNNGroup, they told me I was on a recorded line. They also told me they couldn't divulge the client for whom they were seeking this information for - only their " executive team '' could do that. Their website says they do data collection, but it is all very vague.

In XXXX of 2021 I started receiving calls from RNN Group ( XXXX ) XXXX. I spoke to the company at lest three times and informed them this was not my debt that the SSN did not match mine. In XXXX of 2021 my company received a garnishment for my wages ; approximately {$800.00}. The information on the garnishment was my name but the address and the social security numbers were incorrect. I had my attorney XXXX XXXX make a filing with the courts to get the garnishment released. I have received two calls from them this week where I have advised them this is not me. My compliant is that they are calling my place of employment and speaking to my employees. It is clear this is a debt collector and my employees can tell. This is not my debt please let me know how I should proceed ; it is my fear they are going to garnish my wages again. I entered the SSN of the XXXX XXXX that was on the garnishment in the section that asked for the last four so the company can find the account in question. This is not the last four of my social.

I have been contacted by " RNN Group '' multiple times demanding the last 4 digits of my social and DOB. The calls began yesterday, they called all day and again today. My Hr Manager explained that we do not provide personal information over the phone and they proceeded to give my DOB/Social which was incorrect by the way. We have asked them to stop calling and they continue to harrass me as well as my staff. The receptionist is being bombarded with calls and they are unable to provide us with reasoning for there calls. The number they keep calling from is XXXX and you can not get a hold of anyone. When I XXXX the number I saw so many complaints about scams from these people. I have no idea why they are contacting me and would like for them to stop harassing me especially at my employment it is causing alot f issues for me here at work. I have no idea they address or who I need to contact to send a cease and dismissal to put an end to this harrasment because if they continue I will need to take legal action.

I received a call from a company called RNN Group. They claim to be employment verification. I have not applied for any new employment or a big purchase such as a house or car. This person calls everyday and sends emails but will provide no infiormation verifying who they are or who they respsent in the verification. The person calling gave the name of XXXX and a reference number. I reached out. This person was not at their desk the 3 times I called. I left a message. So I called the main line and the person that did answer ( XXXX ) would not verify any information even though I had the reference number, rep 's name, and phone number which was given to me by HR.

On Monday, XX/XX/2019, I received a call at work that my assistant fielded. The caller was from RNN Group, and he claimed to be doing an " employment verification ''. He was asking my assistant personal information about me such as do I work full time, what is my full legal name, etc. This was not a true employment verification such as for a loan application or a job application, he was trying to obtain information about me from my assistant under false pretenses. The number of the caller was XXXX. I googled this company - RNN Group - and they appear to be a company that assists debt collectors.

We are a place of business and we do not give out any type of information regarding our employees or their family members. We are getting numerous calls from RNN Group and we are not obligated to confirm or deny who works for our company. This is obviously a debt collection. The RNN Group representative is extremely rude and unprofessional. They seem to have made it their mission to continue harassing our place of business and they do n't even know if the person works here. If they were professional, they would not be disrupting another place of business over someone 's personal debt.

This is a business and someone named XXXX XXXX called to verify employment asking for personal information about our employee including his social security number and when we ask them who they are and what it is for they are evasive. They have called two days in a row after being told we would not provide the information they are requesting. I looked their number up online and there are multiple complaints that this company is called RNN Group and that they are shady. We want their number blocked from the ability to call and harass this business.

RNN Group rep XXXX, a manager, has contacted my employer for over a week and my manager has requested repeatedly that RNN Group not call and they are not releasing any information without written consent from an employee. I have called the number back only to get a voice mail every time. I have left voice mail requesting them to stop calling my work. Today XX/XX/2019 they have contacted my employer three times. XXXX is requesting my social, birth date, work hours be verified.

Not aware of the Debt the company is collecting for. Debt is well over the limits of limitations if owed. Collector is constantly contacting for employment verification and reaching out to different Dept within the company
