XXXX XXXX XXXX, 2023 I received a letter regarding an outstanding balance that I owe. It was an attempt to collect a debt. It was also addressed to a former tenant that I evicted. There was no language or statements/information verifying or detailing what the debt was for. There was no language or statements that include how to dispute the debt or what my Debt Collection Rights are. There were statements threatening to turn it over to Collection Agency with added costs to the balance. This threat would certainly harm my credit history with credit reporting companies. I sent a letter to this attorney asking for verification of this debt. I asked no more contact regarding this debt. I am not a current client of this attorney.
