A company called RMG ( Resource Management Group ) called me today stating that I have an unsettled debt from XXXX. They informed me that the address associated with the account in XXXX. The issue is the address is a known address of mine but I have not resided in that address since XXXX. They seem to know my personal email as well as the last 4 of my social. They offered to settle this debt in the full amount of {$590.00} and sent me an email indicating the creditor 's name as XXXX XXXX, which I'm not aware of at all. I have asked for specifics of the account such as when it was opened, and they were not able to provide this information. I have also asked for the direct contact of the creditor and I was informed that they are no longer in business and XXXX has taken over the account. However, they are not XXXX and they have not stated that they were representatives of XXXX in any shape or form. I was a victim of identify theft around XXXX and I have expressed that fact. They made threats that include the following : 1. Wage Garnishment 2. Lien placement 3. Legal Action 4. Negative feedback on my credit. Their contact information is XXXXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, NC XXXX I have tried to visit their website but it redirects me to a landing page that has not been built. I have researched their phone number it appears they already have complaints with FTC as well. I am deeply concerned for my credit as it has taken me quite sometime to get it to be where it is and I'd like to file this complaint to avoid any further detriment as well as the calls from coming in.

I am being contacted by debt collector, Resource Management Group XXXX @ XXXX XXXX XXXX, NC XXXX, stating that they are collecting for, XXXX, on a payday loan from XXXX XXXX, 2011. I have pulled my bank statements from XXXX XXXX, 2011 and it shows no payday loans received. Resource management group wants me to send them my bank statements from XXXX 2011 but I do not feel comfortable doing so because I do n't know who they really are. I asked resource Management group to provide me with XXXX XXXX telephone number and/or address and they said they did not have it. I also asked Resource Management group to provide me with original loan documents that I signed and they said they did not have that either. I then asked Resource management group to mail me a bill that explains what to do if I believe the debt is not mine and they said I had no dispute options with them that I needed to contact the original creditor - XXXX - yet they are still concerned with me turning my bank statements over to them. I have participated in payday loans with other companies and I believe my social security number was compromised form those transactions. All pay day loans that I have actually received are paid in full. Resource Management Group will not give me any information on the original Creditor other than their name which is " XXXX XXXX ''. Resource Management group is threatening to go on my credit report. I do not understand why this collection effort is starting 4 years after the alleged debt began as well. I have placed a fraud alert with the credit bureaus.

On XX/XX/XXXX, I received a call from " Resource Management Group '' with phone number XXXX. I missed the call, so I returned it and a man answered the phone. Advised that they were calling about a credit card debt which was about {$1300.00} from XX/XX/XXXX and it was closed in XX/XX/XXXX. I advised I wasn't aware of the debt and that I'd filed bankruptcy during that time anyway. The person then hung up. I called back, to speak to someone and it sounded like the same man who I spoke to previously stated that he didn't know who I spoke to, verified my information and then advised that they were calling about the debt from XX/XX/XXXX and it was closed in XX/XX/XXXX. He said his name was XXXX XXXX, I advised him that I was not aware of the debt and that I filed bankruptcy during that time. He proceeded to argue with me that my bankruptcy was filed in XX/XX/XXXX and didn't apply. I told him I never received a letter or anything before now regarding this debt and I asked for the address where I can send a letter or to receive verification. He refused to give it to me and hung up on me. I called back a 3rd time to speak to the same man and he advised his name was XXXX XXXX or something similar. I then asked him for the address again and advised him this was a scam because he's given me 3 different names so far. He continued to argue with me and yelled out an address which i was not able to catch. I asked him to repeat it and he refused. I then hung up on the representative.

First, I received a call from RMG ( resource management group ) about a medical bill from XX/XX/2012, from XXXX XXXX. I was not notified about this bill at all via mail or email. I did not know who they were, so I told the rep to send me more information, and she did via email while I was on the phone with her. I hung up on her because I did not know RMG, and they kept calling. I decided to call Dekalb Medical, now XXXX, about this debt. I called the finance department, and they said that they see something but could not give me more information as the case was too old for their current system. I also mention RMG giving me call but they said they never heard of them and I spoke to two different reps.They gave me a name and number that they handed the case to, XXXX XXXX XXXX. I called them, and they said that they did, in fact, had a debt that I owe even though I was XXXX years old at the time and was under my father 's insurance. The rep said that I had to pay not to affect my score or turn into a lien. I was not advised that I could make a payment plan or dispute it. So I paid for it, and now my parents said that I should have insurance and that they register me as self-pay at the time. I do not want this on my credit, and I want to dispute it, especially since I never received a letter in the mail or anything like that, and it was back in 2012 past the limitation. I would want copies of them taking this off my credit. I am still getting calls from RMG.

On Monday XXXX XXXX I received a call from Resource Management telephone number XXXX , the representative asked for a XXXX XXXX XXXX I advised her I was not XXXX and to stop calling my number. On XXXX XXXX , XXXX I received yet another call from the same number mentioned above from, the agent whom called asked for XXXX XXXX I told her the same information, " I am not XXXX and stop calling my phone '', she then said verbatim " I am NOT removing your number and we will keep calling you '', I told her that I would contact the police because at this point I felt like I am being harassed, she then said " you are so ignorant, they wont do anything ''. I asked for her name she hung up. I called back and was told the person I was speaking to was XXXX XXXX and her manager was XXXX XXXX , apparently the both were not available. I asked for the number for the corporate office I was given a XXXX , this number is the same number that they have called from but its toll free. These calls are continuous and this company obviously does n't want to stop calling. I want to know the steps to file a small claims suit for violating the FDCPA laws.

RMG-Resource Management Group XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, NC XXXX contacted me about a debt of {$750.00} of a line of credit opened XX/XX/XXXX, last active XX/XX/XXXX. I explained it was not my debt. I instructed them not to call me to mail me and confirmed my home address. No mail ever came. They then called my employer with this same automated call. They continued to call me as well. I explained I was incarcerated in Georgia XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX and it was impossible I opened any lines of credit XX/XX/XXXX-XX/XX/XXXX. He then went on to blame family members saying i guess your mother or sister did it. I again told him mail me the information do not call me. The calls were all 1-1 1/2 weeks apart. No mail came but AGAIN they called me and we had an altercation where he then proceeded to say my wife or boyfriend did it then. A letter showed up on XX/XX/XXXX finally. It was back dated to XX/XX/XXXX and said you have XXXX to dispute these debts or we automatically deem them valid. Harassing and manipulating dates on mail to validate fraud of someone else is extremely disrespectful and unlawful.

For the past several months i've been getting calls from a company representing themselves as a debt collector for an old account that was held by XXXX XXXX XXXX, now defunct. I have no record of this debt, it also is not listed on my credit report as past due, in collections, charged off, etc. I have looked at XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX. When i contacted the collector, i was told the last date of activity was XX/XX/2014, which is within the 7 yr period for accounts to age off of my credit report if they had negative comments. Due to the age of the debt, i personally no longer have documentation of this account, although i am making attempts to find it. I am fairly certain however, the account was either, paid in full, or paid in settlement. The person i spoke with was named XXXX, and despite asking several times for the license number of RMG, since they are a debt collector, as suggested by the PA attorney General 's office, i was told she didn't have it. The amount owed in question is XXXX.

I vaguely remember taking a payday loan in XXXX, I do n't remember the exact year, but I know that I paid off the whole debt. Since it was from a bit of a way back, I do not even have any of the documentation they sent to me and they have not even been in contact with me once in the past 4 years. All of a sudden I am getting calls from " XXXX '' ( Resources Management ) saying that I owe a debt to " XXXX XXXX '' for a payday loan they extended to me ( without my knowledge & without my consent if they even did ) and had old e-mail and bank account information but somehow have my personal cell number which has changed recently AND called my place of work. I did NOT give updated information. When I searched the number and the places of business on google they all come back as SPAM. They have called me numerous times and continue to harass me. I would like this to stop!

I was told I owe a debt that I never had and has never even shown up on my credit report and its 8 years old, statute of limitations in my state is 6 years, I asked for written copies of last payment made, original account number and when the account was opened and they told me they wont and dont have to give me that information because they are a third party but told me dates over the phone but no original account number and also said that they are going to impose liens and levies against me and are in the process of bringing a civil suit against me and are going after my name which will prevent me from getting a job in a bank or going into the military among other things and will show up on a background check.

I have received phone calls from a debt collector called Resource Management Group. They claim I owe a debt from XXXX, but they refuse to send me a debt validation letter claiming they don't have to that they are a third party but will give me dates over the phone. I sent a certified letter to them on XX/XX/XXXX asking for the information and they have refused to pick it up from the post office. They laughed at me when I said the statue of limitations was up and that they were violating Consumer Financial Protectin laws and asked if I had just XXXX that. On XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX they have called me twice in one day.

I RECEIVECED A CALL TODAY FROM RESOURCE MANAGEMENT GROUP XXXX. I got a call from XXXX on XX/XX/XXXX, Employee ID XXXX contact XXXX or XXXX. Case number XXXX. That if I did n't pay the full amt of {$1400.00} or {$340.00} that there would be fraud charges filed. I told him that I called XXXX the day the check was due and spoke with the location manager, and told her that I would be in on XXXX to pay the check because I was still at work. She told me she was going to deposit the check no matter if the money was there or not.
