I once opened up a checking account with renasant bank in XXXX with {$55.00}. I withdrew to {$0.00}. And in less than XXXXdays the account was closed with no warning after reading their site at the time, that after at least XXXX months with no activity, they may close an account. I was also yelled at by a customer service person over the phone for trying to ask a simple question about the closure. After receiving constant emails from Renasant Bank recently, over the past several months, on XX/XX/XXXX, I went into a branch to open a savings account with a large check from a legitimate business transaction. I started online but then left my app incomplete to visit a branch with such a large check. This was a legitimate WRITTEN CHECK, WRITTEN AND SIGNED IN INK BY THE PAYER. I'm complaining about when I walked in to speak with someone, i was turned to a gentlemen whom I informed that I'd like to deposit a check. He began to yell at me before I was able to calm him down. One would believe that alcohol or substance abuse may have been a factor. I was dressed very nicely and appropriately without cause. I explained to him that their recent emails was what brought me in, as he refused to open me up an account. After sitting down showing him all the emails they'd been sending, strangely, still classifying me as a " valued customer '', he walked out with the check and came back in the office and decided to open me an account. Renasant holds your account number if you open accounts online until you come into the branch with proper identification ; but will definitely forward your account number, in person, if you open your account inside the branch. What they had as their scam was to hide the account number from the paper portfolio given to me after processing to leave with, and did so. He had given me a receipt for my check deposit but sent me home with no account number, holding, both my large check and my account number, for himself. He also gave me a XXXX business day delay on my funds availability which some would say is usual with new accounts, but also believing my check was a new years " present '' to me, which it was not. He wanted to make my own check a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX to me, which I have a complaint about. After maybe XXXX days ( XX/XX/XXXX ), I called renasant after having an email about my account number not being given, ignored or not responded to. When I spoke to someone to see if my account was even open, after experiencing their fraudulent behavior, the person took information to access the account and told me the check had been returned as " refer to maker '' the account was closed. But at the end of the call, I acquired about reopening the account and she told me, " oh it's open, just make a deposit. '' I became upset and asked why she said it was closed. I had to raise my voice at this point because they scammed my account number from me ; for me to see online the day after, if there was any activity. I called back a day or so later and the customer agent said the check was returned, refer to maker, but then " squeezed in '' that it was sought as fraudulent ; not being sure, but attempting to harass me by telling me it was fraudulent to jealously turn down my business. Not because it was true. Sometime later I called to complain and was asked if I would like to speak to a supervisor ; but that the account was open, " you just need to make a deposit ''. They put me on with him and I am complaining that he said he was " out of town '', was basically in a car on his personal cell phone saying he wasn't by a computer, " hey you want your account number? Uhh it's XXXX ... ''. Then cut himself off and said hey look the account is closed. I said " hey, she just said it was open, but transferred me to a supervisor ''. At the end of the call he gave me his number and said he will call me in the morning to let me know if : " I will keep your account open ''. I said " wow ''. We left the phone after agreeing " okay ''. He called me in the morning, asked me how I was doing and said he was going to " go ahead and close the account ''. I'm complaining about him handling my issue from his cell phone and not an office, him asking me personal questions about the check, where it came from, he got heavily off subject, sounded possibly drunken or either not too good, even mentioned my check was more than he made a year ; because my check was not fraudulent. I'm complaining that I was pulled out of the customer service bracket and put on a personal call with what seemed to be XXXX XXXX person. He assumed it was fraudulent but when I asked could I call the bank the check was written on, he said YES, and also welcomed me to call him back with what they said because he wasn't sure. He only wondered if it was fraudulent. He was guessing and not in the know. It was a scam he was running. He lied saying the check was fraudulent. They must have never deposited my check and planned to only submit it by the XXXX business day ; no portion was available after the first business day as stated in their policy, as in the first {$100.00} or {$5000.00}. After I finished the discomforting and insulting call with him, a certified letter came from Renasant which I did not open, but instead, immediately sent back to them in a stamped envelope, as this seemed a bit XXXX. Even contacted a branch about it shortly after and they said they never heard of renasant sending any certified mail but then quickly changed and attempted to put the same supervisor on the phone with me. I declined and ended the call. I spoke with the branch, by phone, that I opened the account at, about more details ; she had a XXXX attitude, bolstering that the check was fraudulent and even told me that I could call the police if I wanted! Which is admittance that XXXX conducted fraudulent behavior towards me without ever confirming a fraudulent check. I then opened a regular letter from them later than I received it and it was a copy of the check. The check came back to me by mail, thank goodness, saying " returned '' for, refer to maker as reason, with the note that it was as good as the original check. That means it is not fraudulent. I'm complaining that they still have the original check as well as my information and could do anything with this. I want my information and finance protected in this matter as well as others '. All personnel at this bank inside and out have overwhelmingly dangerous attitudes and tones of voice that pushes any customer to suspect XXXX and/or possible XXXX XXXX. My check was never deposited and was not fraudulent. It was kept and XXXX. And now I'm worried about both, my and the check writer 's information, as well other people 's information. I'm complaining that this bank and its supervisor may need to be reported even to the XXXX. The check never had a chance to bounce or release. They never deposited the check, has seemingly run a complete scam, and now withholds sensitive information from me. Their job was to properly deposit the check and exercise proper funds availability methods, as long my check was properly addressed, signed, and valid for the deposit. They more than failed to do so. I understand there is crime prevalent, but their job is to " withstand '' and uphold normal deposit procedure at all times ; Not to hallucinate that I'm a son, a sibling or that they're a customer 's parents. I am complaining about the mental health stability and competence of the personnel at this branch, XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, the supervisor, and his choices for customer service hires. They advertised as a bank but did not properly deposit my check. I did not receive the terms advertised.

Loan Officers : XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX,, XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX for XXXX XXXX XXXXRenasant transition ) Escrow Tax Clerk : XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX XXXX I am writing to file a complaint on several issues Ive had since my mortgage was bought 10 months into me buying my home in XXXX. I have been misled by incorrect statements, I have been verbally told incorrect information, I have been contacted by email replies that are also incorrect or misleading regarding my loan. There have been discrepancies with this account since XXXX to XXXX regarding my payments that are being sent in by online bill pay, money order ( in transition to the other mortgage lender ) and also when paid at the bank directly, and the communication has gotten worst. I have over 40 emails going back from the very start of this confusion. I have asked several times why is it that I can not log onto their website to view my account or make a payment. I have not received any feedback at all for several years and the most recent time that Ive asked was XX/XX/XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX to get the run around and after calling many times to the IT department my questions went unanswered. I spoke to several representatives who told me that this was blocked on the back end and only the loan officer can take the block off. I gave the officer the information and she told me on email that she would try to reach out to someone and then replied back the same week and said that she doesnt know who to contact she doesnt have the authority and that she would have to reach out to XXXX who was out of the office. No response at all. I continued to pay at the teller. Whenever Ive sent my payments in through my bank this company would not apply my payments, or tell me that Oh Im sorry I found your payment it was sitting in the lock box unapplied In turn that makes the account late/delinquent and then they continued to report the account to the credit bureaus over and over again, causing my credit score to drop each time on a monthly basis which makes me appear to be irresponsible and the payments were sent in already. When Im connected by the officer, I tell them that the payments were sent cashed and unapplied and I give them the check number and when my bank said that it was cashed and they reply back as though they are in disbelief until I send copies of the check front and back, all of a sudden, the payment is found and posted but late. Ive requested in writing to Renasant Bank and all credit bureaus and nothing has been done and they communicated to the credit companies months later stating that the account status is accurate. In turn I would let the officer know that my account is marked late and if they can please update and notify the credit companies nothing was done and currently my credit score is still low because of this. Ive also had a credit repair company to look into this for me and they never received a response from Renasant Bank what she found was that they report to the credit companies late also and its probably because the hold onto the payments as unapplied when they actually arent so a letter was sent out XXXX of XXXX no response to correct this. XXXX of XXXX, I went out of town for a family emergency and I made a payment in XXXX and XXXX XXXX, when I got back and checked my mailbox, I have several statements with all different dates and all different amounts. I emailed my officer and to my surprise I was asked about an escrow payment and if I had received the notice. I looked at all letters and I only had statements nothing about the escrow payment and I asked her if she would send out another letter and if she could send it in an email and explain everything as I had been out of town and had no letter. She insisted that it was sent out but couldnt tell me any dates. I received the email attachment that made me very concerned because of how it looked and the dates were off because she asked me if I had sent in my payment for XX/XX/XXXX which I did so I was confused. I asked her what is the amount that I need to pay and also telling her that the escrow due date was actually XX/XX/XXXX and at the top it shows XX/XX/XXXX and viewing the letter closer it looked tampered with as if it someone used a correction liquid or tape and photo copied it and then scanned it into the email. So many red flags in any event I went that Saturday to the teller and paid the amount that I was told to pay based on the email conversation. XX/XX/XXXX. There after based on the email communication I paid the amount that was asked of me, which I understood to be that if I paid the escrow amount the amount would be {$910.00} and then the amount each month would be {$860.00} going forward. I made payments every other week in XXXX I was paid three times that month and I continued to pay in XXXX. XXXX comes and I thought let me follow up with the officer to be sure because something just never feels right and I got an email from XXXX XXXX stating that I was back on track with Renasant Bank. I did not receive a response until the next day and I was told that they hadnt received any additional escrow payments. I was thrown off and blown away because I paid what I was told to pay by XXXX XXXX and also, I got another email from XXXX stating that they did receive my payment for XXXX and it has been applied so I am cleared for XXXX. I am not sure what happened because Ive sent in pictures of all my receipts from the teller and I also notified her that my payment was made. I have no clue why in XXXX of XXXX that they are still asking me about escrow payments for XX/XX/XXXX. I looked back at the email and noticed that XXXX had replied to me in a very hostile manner and that XXXX didnt respond at all and also, I went back to the email from XX/XX/XXXX and saw that the email was actually dated XX/XX/XXXX which made me question was this even correct in the first place and also why was an email sent to me in XXXX and the email regarding the escrow payment being due in XX/XX/XXXX the email communication shows XX/XX/XXXX. XX/XX/XXXX no response back at all for me to pay the correct amount owed this week for my XXXX payment and what the amount should be. At this point I am totally confused and the communication is just horrible. The job of any bank lender broker sales person is to assist a home owner or prospective home owner and do so with honesty and in good faith as outlined in Real Estate Law they are setting a very bad example for those who set out to work for or with them.

XXXX XXXX of my previous complaint with Renasant Bank has subtly responded to the Consumer in basically calling the consumer a liar. Prior to sending XXXX XXXX a rebuttal, The Consumer wanted to ensure submission of his rebuttal here first. In addition to calling the Consumer a liar, XXXX XXXX has continued to ignore the Consumer in addressing his requests today as he is attaching for review to forward this information to the appropriate personnel, including XXXX XXXX to whom it is specifically addressed, for proper processing. It is the Consumer 's belief that XXXX XXXX is in collusion to Corporate/Industrial Espionage based on the way he has chosen to do business. It is the Consumer 's intent at this point to deescalate this matter with a proposed solution of submitting his personal & business information to or for all credit lending products offered at Renasant Bank for some form of appropriate closure for clarification purposes. Thank you for your time and any assistance that you may be able to provide. Original Complaint summary below. Respectfully - XXXX XXXX XXXX This Affidavit of Truth is prepared by XXXX XXXX XXXX ( the Consumer & Plaintiff ) is truthfully alleging that Renasant Bank ( Witness, Defendant ) willfully violated a multitude of Consumer Protection Laws because they have not offered any Adverse Decision regarding a Business Loan, Line of Credit, or Asset-Based Loan for the Consumer. In addition, Renasant Bank has also violated several laws regarding Fair Lending Practices & have even violated their own Account Agreement & Disclosures, by not equally treating the Consumer fair as other Business Clients/Consumers. As of today, Renasant Bank has failed to offer or set of policies and programs aimed at increasing the representation and opportunities for historically disadvantaged or underrepresented groups in areas such as fair lending, general customer service for all customers in whole or in part, defined as Affirmative Action. The goal of affirmative action is to address past and present discrimination, systemic inequalities, and underrepresentation of certain groups by promoting diversity and equal access to opportunities all of which Renasant Bank has failed to provide to the Consumer. The Consumer has solely led astray by the Defendant ( i.e. Specifically XXXX XXXX XXXX - XXXX, GA. Branch Manager ) for roughly over two ( XXXX ) months. Within this same time frame, the Consumer also experienced financial hardships related & unrelated to this matter. Around XXXX of XXXX, the Consumer informed XXXX XXXX of his interest in purchasing his business equipment upon its expiration date of XX/XX/XXXX. During this time the Consumer would build his credit, assets, & revenue in preparation for the lease expiration date with establishing himself as a new Customer driven with purpose. Based on the lease semi-tractor title having a previously lien by Renasant Bank, the Consumer hoped that his business relationship would carryover in a long term healthy report. Unfortunately, XXXX XXXX has failed the Consumer in fulfillment of those plans by using Unfair, Deceptive, or Abusive Acts or Practices known as UDAAPs. A prime example is how XXXX XXXX understood the Consumers goals and requested a lengthy list of items & documents to increase the Consumers chances of approval for a minimum amount only to deny the Consumer for those very same reasons without providing any Adverse Action Letter thereafter ( i.e. Business Plan, Projected Revenue, Tax Documents, etc. ) Since XXXX XXXX has verbally declined the Consumer, the consumer is only led to believe that XXXX XXXX solely & willfully illegally Declined the Consumer without cause, with spite, & after obtaining a plethora of detailed information/intellectual property from the Consumer. This unjust service warrants unfair practices brought about against the Defendants. The Consumer has been very patient & diligent in cooperating with the Defendants application process, yet he is now only left to believe that Renasant Bank is currently & intentionally violating his consumer rights. In addition, XXXX XXXX solely took it upon himself to verbally state that a Consumers check would be honored within a reasonable time of XXXX days at his sole discretion on XX/XX/XXXX. Unfortunately, XXXX attempted to deceive the Consumer by attempting to distract while this deposit was being transacted, & while also instructing his associate to stamp the receipt for XXXXday hold or more ( Documents Attached ). Had XXXX XXXX told the truth in response to the Consumers inquiry, the Consumer/Customer would have explored other options to obtain the needed cash sooner. As of today ( XX/XX/XXXX ), XXXX XXXX has continued to violate the Consumers Rights by doing the exact same thing from XX/XX/XXXX only this time it is transparently clear & conspicuous of his wrongdoings. When the Consumer contacted Renasant Banks Corporate Office, he was informed that at XXXX XXXX sole discretion, he has placed the Consumers account in pending closure status prior to the deadline of the Banks policy of account delinquency for XXXX days. As such, XXXX XXXX has continued to violate Consumer Laws & his very own Banking Procedures with the effortless lackadaisical service towards the Consumer of this Claim. Hopefully, Renasant Bank is dedicated to ensuring that the Consumer has an equitable chance to secure a viable lending solution, taking into account both the relevant and unrelated facts as confirmed under oath. As part of its commitment to treating all consumers fairly, the Bank should be optimistic about creating a positive lending experience for the Consumer involved in this matter, current consumers being mistreated, & all other consumers within our society-at-large that may follow.

I applied for the mortgage with Renasant Bank in XXXX of 2020. The mortgage broker ran my numbers and information and give me the conformation letter for the funds. I found the house and submit the offer. All the need it documents that was requested by the broker was provided to him with the copy to the real estate lady. The closing was scheduled for the XXXX of XXXX. on XX/XX/XXXX, the Loan processor from the Renasant Bank send me the email requesting 10 things. Same day, all the requested documents was provided to her. On Thursday, XXXX XXXX, I spoke with my mortgage broker, XXXX XXXX, and he told me that everything is done and we will see each other the next day at the closing. He even send me the email saying : '' Dear XXXX, Having recently closed your loan for the property located at : XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, GA, XXXX, I want to thank you for allowing me to assist you in your home financing needs .... " That evening, XX/XX/XXXX, at XXXX, my real state lady called me to tell me that we cant have a closing because my mortgage broker didn't provided the Attorneys with the bank file. I called to XXXX phone all evening till XXXX hours, but no one return my call or text to me. Next day, XXXX told me that it is a new law since the COVID, that I have to be working the same job for 6 month. I told him, no problem! I will provide this letter, let me just call the XXXX XXXX XXXX center, and have them give me the letter. # 5 minutes later I was faxing the letter to the mortgage people. But, at that point XXXX said that it is to late and he will be working on conventional mortgage. No explanation why. Closing got postponed for a week. Mean vile, my husband moved out from the place of residence and was on the way to GA with my animals and some furniture. I came to GA as a traveler, during the COVID outbreak, to help at the XXXX with the XXXX XXXX. I was staying in the camper. At this point, thinking that I will be closing on @ # rd, I sold my camper as XXXX of XXXX. The girl came in took the camper and left to the TX for the next assignment. I end up renting another camper so, my expances increased 2 times, on my housing and my husband, now, that he need it to return to Florida, because there is no room in the camper for 3 Macaws and one Cockatoo. I also have 5 dogs. As of right now, my husband is staying in the rat infested trailer in XXXX because I dont wont him to sign the lease for the year and then end up with the rent lean. And, it is not that easy to rent housing when you have this many animals. I also end up renting the storage, so, I can store the furniture I purchased here in GA. The closing got moved twice, I got in touch with the Reginal manager of the Branch I was dealing with XXXX XXXX, he also promised to help with the finishing the process, but ... .. Mean vile, the offer to the seller ran out and I lost {$3000.00}, my earnest money. So, now, I lost {$3000.00} plus, {$500.00} for the appraisal, plus {$500.00} for the inspection, plus storage fee 's, plus XXXX fee 's, plus HOA fees, plus Double rent that I am paying on me and my husband housing, plus the stress and the tears, i cant deal with this anymore. The same people I came to GA to help in the XXXX, is taking my money with out any regret or considerations. Please advise how I can get my money back. What do I need to do?

In the early weeks of XXXX, my son received a {$1000.00} savings bond from his father as a gift. As this was his first time handling a savings bond, and I was out of town for work commitments, I advised him on the necessary steps to convert the bond into cash or have it deposited into our account. I suggested that he take the bond to our bank, where they could evaluate its current worth and guide him through the cashing or depositing process, in which I advised him they may place a hold on it so be prepared. On XX/XX/XXXX, my son visited the Renasant Bank branch at XXXX XXXX XXXX, XXXX, AL XXXX to convert the savings bond. Upon completing the transaction, he was informed by the bank that the bond was valued at approximately {$8000.00}, a sum significantly higher than we had anticipated. Notably, the bank representative advised him that the funds were immediately available in his account. This was contrary to my previous advice to my son that the bank might place a hold on the bond until the funds were verified. Its been years since I processed a savings bond, so I wasnt sure of the exact procedure, but I knew either way that they would verify and proceed accordingly. However, on XX/XX/2023, we received a phone call from the head of the treasury department informing us that the teller had made a mistake and that we would have to return the excess cash. It was both shocking and distressing to learn that the bank expected us to bear the financial burden of their error. Without prior notice, the bank proceeded to withdraw the remaining {$4000.00} from our account, leaving us in a precarious financial position. This significant error has caused us financial hardship, as our account is now overdrawn by {$3100.00} due to the bank 's attempt to rectify the teller 's mistake. According to the Department of Treasury, if a financial institution accidentally cashes a bond or note for the wrong person, or if the transaction results in a financial loss, the institution is liable for the loss unless the Department of the Treasury determines that the institution was not at fault or negligent as a paying agent. It's clear from these guidelines that the bank should be responsible for this error, not us, the consumers. We have spoken to several representatives at the Department of Treasury to understand how this could happen, first they were baffled at how that could happen, they couldnt make sense of it themselves. The representative also advised us that this is not our fault and the bank should resolve this and how the savings bond was supposed to be cashed, never deposited into our account, and financial institutions are aware of this. However, as you can see from the attached documents, the teller not only wrote in the wrong amount but also deposited it as a check. Even processing it as a check, the teller did not place a hold on it, which could have possibly prevented this loss from happening. That account never had {$8000.00} before, so why didn't the teller do her due diligence to protect the consumer and the bank?

- XX/XX/XXXX : Application was accepted by XXXX XXXX, Mortgage Banker at Renasant XXXX XXXX. Close date was set for XX/XX/XXXX XXXX : Appraisal for the home was ordered. During this process the appraisal company selected by Renasant tried to request more money for an expedited service which was not needed to meet the agreed upon close date of XX/XX/XXXX. When the appraisal came in on XX/XX/XXXX and I was asked to sign a paper requesting an additional {$100.00} for an increase of cost for the appraisal I had already paid for. XXXX : Loan submitted to underwriting XXXX : XXXX XXXX, who was responsible for my closing process was asking for documents that I has sent in previously. XXXX : I received my pre-closing documents for a close date of XX/XX/XXXX. This would not allow enough time to get the necessary paperwork to the title company to close on time. By sending this package it makes the assumption that Renasant had all the necessary documents needed to close which I provided far in advance but clearly due to negligence was not handled properly. XXXX : The intended close date was set for XX/XX/XXXX and on XX/XX/XXXX I received an e-signing confirmation of my appraisal that Renasant had available on XX/XX/XXXX. XXXX : I am forced to extend my close date because Renasant was negligent in both managing the process and handling my documents to meet a timeline that agreed to which caused XXXX money to become at risk and the sell of the house to be in jeopardy. - XX/XX/XXXX : Because of poor controls in the underwriting review process I was asked to update my insurance coverage to meet Renasant 's requirements. Keep in mind the house was scheduled to close on XX/XX/XXXX and I am just now completing an insurance increase request. - XX/XX/XXXX : I am provided my closing details and I am notified by my Title company that under " other costs '' section F, line XXXX that Renasant is charging an unnecessary fee. - XX/XX/XXXX : I speak with XXXX XXXX, Vice President. I explained the process and how frustrating it has been working with Renasant and his team due to the lack of communication, the change in staff, and the inability to support timelines that were agreed to. He raised his voice and told me that he was sorry that I was frustrated but that he has been in the business for XXXX and that he was not going to change anything on the documents. This was clear intimidation and as a consumer I felt that given how far along we where in the process I has no other options but to proceed with Renasant even though it has been a terrible experience and I felt they didn't have my interest at heart.

I have been trying to resolve a fraudulent charge on my checking account since XX/XX/XXXX and need your help. On XX/XX/XXXX - an unauthorized charge of {$220.00} was deducted from my Renasant Bank checking account for a payment to someone's XXXX XXXX XXXX I do not own a XXXX XXXX, never have and did not authorize this payment. I closed my Renasant Debit card immediately. I disputed the charge with Renasant Bank on XX/XX/XXXX advising of the fraud charge. On XX/XX/XXXX Renasant denied my dispute stating it was a valid charge. I called Renasant Fraud Dept and spoke to agent XXXX and her supervisor XXXX. They said XXXX told them this charge was valid and I would have to dispute with XXXX. On XX/XX/XXXX I called XXXX XXXX XXXX XXXX who advised someone in XXXX XXXX, FL used me card number to pay their XXXX Bill. This fraud person had also created a fake email in my name- and told XXXX I was helping them out that month to pay for their bill. XXXX bought this fraud 's story and charged my card. XXXX also said there were " red flags '' all over the place for this person 's account- and that this theif used a different credit card every month to pay their bill. XXXX also faxed me a copy of the XXXX charge and I am able to provide the XXXX credit card number, name and address of the thief. I then called Renasant back and spoke with agent XXXX. XXXX and I called XXXX together and reviewed everything. All were in verbal agreement that this was fraud and XXXX advised she would reopen case and get back to me. I waited 6 months and never heard a word back. So I contacted Renasant via email on XX/XX/XXXX with no response. I then went into the Renasant bank manager - who said she would look into it. I went to the bank manager again in XXXX and XX/XX/XXXX- each time with promise to look into it with no response. I emailed their fraud dept again on XX/XX/XXXX and received a response this case was closed a year ago - XX/XX/XXXX. Thankfully, it is only {$220.00}. but still - Renasant bank should be responsible in paying this. On Tuesday evening XX/XX/XXXX my checking account had a balance of XXXX dollars. There were no pending transactions. I was unable To login to my account Wednesday morning for XXXX-XXXX to check my balance. Around XXXX XXXX I checked it and my balance was negative XXXX .... I immediately transferred money via instant deposit via my XXXX account for XXXX which brought my balance back to a positive status ... later that afternoon I checked it again and after making that deposit they proceeded to return two ach transactions and charged me two return fees of XXXX dollars. Those two transactions never had a pending status they were posted as if they were checks written when in fact they were ach withdrawals for payments done online.. both were under 30 dollars. Every other ach payment made will process as pending and then completed .. these two just popped up On XXXX as being posted on XXXX. As stated as soon as I was able to transfer money over o did but they returned them anyway and charged me XXXX x2. That is no way to handle your customers account .. it makes a difficult situation just that much harder and I dont appreciate the way they manipulate they system to benefit them. U cant deposit money in a local branch atm it doesnt get applied to your account for two days.. the only way to deposit money is instantly like I did and they still sent back those payments despite the fact it had been covered. I received no notification that this was taking place. Also, when you sign up for Renasant 's electronic statements, they don't email you anything. You have to login to your account if you want to see a statement or get a notice. To me this violates the notification rules instituted on banks. I contacted the bank and they said this was because I haven't been using the account enough, something they did not mention either in person or in their advertisements.

I have a checking account with renasant bank. When I opened the account I was told to opt out in order that my debit card would be declined if I tried to use it and I had insufficient funds to cover a transaction ; however I was not told that I needed to sign a form requesting that checks, bank drafts or other payments be rejected for insufficient funds. So in one year I have paid over {$2000.00} in overdraft charges because they paid all transactions regardless if the money was available or not! In one week alone I paid 6 overdraft charges of {$35.00} each! I am disabled and live on a fixed income! My husband and me have had to deal with this everyday almost the entire time weve had this account! Weve called, and recently were told that we needed to sign a form in order to stop items being paid to avoid more overdraft fees! But it continues! Now because of their excessive overdraft charges they refuse to cash or deposit an insurance check made out to my husband and me for a claim we filed when my husband had a car wreck! They have financially ruined us and I wont stop until they are held accountable and we are reimbursed for these fees! This has to be made illegal! My complaint is that Renasant Bank could not or would not answer my questions concerning providing proof of sufficient flood insurance coverage for my condo A letter from Renasant Bank dated XX/XX/XXXX states that I need to provide additional food insurance or they will purchase a policy to cover, which will increase my monthly mortgage payment. However, they did not state the minimum requirements, therefore I cant due diligently obtain their minimum requirements. XX/XX/2023 I was contacted by Renasant Bank 's fraud department regarding an attempt on my account via an ATM machine at a XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX in XXXX, GA. I denied this attempt, as I reside in XXXX, TN. I was working in XXXX and had no way of making that attempt. My card was supposedly frozen and I was to pick up a new card ASAP, but with this all having happened later in the day I had to get this the next day. XX/XX/2023 I was notified once again that an attempt was being made on my account and denied it as well. Somehow the dispute department claims I verified this attempt that amounted up to {$460.00} between multiple withdrawals and charges. I later find while appealing this that it was my OLD card which was used that was supposed to had been flagged and frozen. All of these attempts also were made at the same ATM at the same XXXX XXXX XXXXXXXX yet somehow this all has been tossed to the side evidently. I was not and have never been to XXXX, GA and this loss of money has tremendously made things difficult while dealing with job loss and other difficulties. My mortgage at Renasant Bank in XXXX, MS was scheduled to refinanced when my balance was approximately {$16000.00}. I filled out the online application and supplied all needed information to my bank. I also submitted a bid for home repairs in the mortgage package along with the balance of the note. During this time, Renasant dragged their feet getting this done and passed me around to 3 different loan officers, taking over 3 months to complete. The loan balance was refinanced but i was turned down the additional funds for repairs due to my credit score. During this three months time, I have learned that Renasant reported to all credit bureaus that I was 30 and 60 days late with a payment on this loan that was in the process of being renewed and was untrue. This false reporting hit my credit score for over 100 points. And I believe that Renasants own false reporting to credit bureaus was used to make the decision to deny my additional funding. I now suffer consequences of the lowered credit scores including having lines of credit withdrawn and loan applications denied much less the refusal for Renasant to lend the additional funds for home repairs

We're the seller of a house that the Lender ( Renasant Bank ) in question is funding for the buyer. The lender did not disclose that they were helping the buyer use a Program called Georgia Dreams, which gives some kind of assistance to a first time home buyer. This particular assistance program involves a lengthy process that can last up to an average of sixty days, according to information on the program website. The lender only let everyone know about this exception on the date of the closing that it wasn't going to happen, which is not acceptable. Because the lender gave no warning to any of the parties involved, the closing date has passed with no end in sight. We can no longer fund the purchase of our new home and the seller of that house will likely bail out and look to sell to someone else. If the lender had disclosed that the closing would not be on time and in fact would likely take weeks longer than normal, we would not have made a house offer that we couldn't complete without the funds from this sale. Their actions have caused a cascading effect which is not only frustrating but economically devastating to several parties.

I went to an ATM on Wednesday, XX/XX/2023 around XXXX PM to try and withdraw {$330.00} from my account. The debit card I used was my XXXX XXXX and the bank was Renasant bank. Before I tried to withdraw the money the ATM let me know that the receipts werent printing and I continued because I had used that atm several times. He sold his services and once the wire transfer was complete he said he started trading the money. He stated that my return would be available in 7-14 days. I have not been able to view or gain access to my personal checking account, for over three days. Renasant Bank routing number XXXX. This bank launched a new system on XXXX XXXX and their phone number was constantly busy and I received no return calls. On XX/XX/XXXX a manager tried to help me by sending new password changes, but none worked and all said invalid credentials. I live over an hour away and therefore do not want to drive XXXX hours round trip to resolve this new launch problem that Renasant Bank has created! I recently filed some disputes as well as a Compliant with my bank due to the unauthorized transactions as well as recent returned checks and inappropriate fees assessed and overall mishandling of my account .. I rarely cause issues and am rarely overdrawn in my account. As a result of me decision to stand up for myself and advocate for myself the bank has now closed my account. No reason given. The hardship this is creating was unnecessary. My bank account is in good standing 99 % of the time .. for this to happen bc i made a complaint or a little noise in order I get my money back ... is just horrible customer service and truly unethical. Ive called my bank at Renasant at several different locations trying to get help with overdraft fees. Im a single mom and told them I started a new job with the XXXX XXXX and I had no money to put in my account until I get my first paycheck. I got a letter from the big glass Renasant bank in XXXX, XXXX saying if I need help to call. I called Thursday to tell them if they could help with a couple it would help. She put me on hold and said unfortunately at this time we cant help, I dont receive my first paycheck until the XXXX of this month. I reviewed my personal credit report after home purchasing consideration, and I found multiple accounts that I did not make being reported on my credit report. I was shocked that there were exactly six different accounts that were made fraudulently. I have disputed this issue previously several times with the company ( Renasant ) and the credit reporting agency ( XXXX ). Today on XX/XX/2021 I contacted the reporting agency ( XXXX ) about the issue and the agent was not knowledgeableor helpful in regards to my situation. Renasant Bank changed the way its website works and I've had difficulty accessing my account. The bank has sent at least one text to my current mobile number, which means they have the correct one on file. However, the bank insists on sending a one-time code and only shows my old number, which I can't use for security reasons. There used to be other alternative ways to securely verify my identity, but these options aren't a part of this new digital rollout. No one is answering the phone number they've provided for people having issues with their accounts. I haven't been able to access my bank information for about XXXX business days or get ahold of the appropriate person. Per various XXXX searches, I can see I'm not the only person with these issues.

My mortgage company is attempting to foreclose on my property with a complete modification package in their possession this a violation of Federal Laws. I had previously tried to establish a home loan. And during the final stages of underwriting, I was asked how was a account ( that had been paid off for 2 years ) been paid on. Was it weekly, monthly, or a lump sum payment. If you have the proof that a account has been paid off, it's at a XXXX balance it should not matter how it was paid off. i know for sure that this was just anything to not approve me for the loan. On Friday, XX/XX/2023, we were approved for a HELOC but backed out before signing papers and asked for the loan to be cancelled on XX/XX/2023.
